Black bean paste? I am not sure what it is and I am positive that I don't want to know how it is made. My Chinese food safety rule is, if the meal doesn't have General Tso's name on it, proceed with caution. Versions of No 1 Kitchen's "Triple Crown" meals looked delicious. I took the risk and went with the Hunan version, which has the spicy black bean sauce. The black bean sauce was rich, savory, spicy delicious. Not sweet. The meal was a big, full plate of food. A balanced mixture of fresh vegetables, loaded up with tender chicken, beef and shrimp. This was a great meal. Spicy black bean sauce, works for me. I think General Tso would have liked it. My wife went with the Lo Mein with Shrimp. She enjoyed the meal. She offered me a bite, but I passed on it. I don't like spaghetti. We also shared a bowl of hot and sour soup. It was loaded with mushrooms, tofu, egg and vegetables in a tasty tangy spicy thick broth. Very good. This is a clean comfortable little restaurant with table service and drive through. The restaurant stayed surprisingly busy even after the lunch hour rush. I had dined at No 1 Kitchen several years ago. I was not impressed with the food enough to come back since. Recent reviews that I have seen, enticed me to give No 1 Kitchen another try.

Overall solid spot for Chinese dishes and some options for Japanese if you want to order at the drive-thru, carry out OR dine in. I have NOT tried any Japanese style dishes here but I have had many items off of the Chinese menu. I tell you, I'm always happy to find a spot with ORANGE BEEF!! Orange chicken is everywhere, but it's kinda hard to find orange beef. Overall the food is delicious, it's always in huge portions and you get it all at a very reasonable price. I'm okay with all of that. I normally call ahead and do carry out, but I recently dined in for the first time not long ago. In a post COVID world, it's nice to sit down and enjoy chinese food with full service. I feel like it was really hard to find for a while and I'm stoked it's back here. I'll definitely be doing it again as 1.) the food is always good 2.) it's kind of small so it's not crowded or loud, 3.) the service we got was excellent. There's nothing fancy about anything you get here, but ya know, it's rock solid, the folks work hard to make quality, yummy food and I am all about that life. I'll keep eating here as long as I live in BA.

Excellent food. It was hot, spicy and perfect. I ate there in 2016, it's my new fav Chinese Food place.

    Szechwan chicken and lo mein

Love the Szechwan chicken! We've ordered through door dash so can't really speak on service or ambiance.

Our host was amazing! Food was delish! Place is clean! chef was on fire! The best place in Broken Arrow so far!

Paid $7 for a California roll n it was only 6 small pieces and poorly put together. I would be ashamed to put out this

Exceptional Quality and Craftsmanship in Tulsa -- Mr. Nobu's Sushiya…read more We recently visited Mr. Nobu's Sushiya, and overall, the quality of the food makes this a place the Tulsa community absolutely needs to support and help grow. The Standouts Incredible Nigiri: The salmon nigiri was superior--far larger than usual and easily outshining the quality at most other sushi restaurants in town. Tempura Shrimp Roll: An absolute highlight at just $11. They added broken tempura pieces to the outside, giving it an remarkably delicious, delightful crunch. Outstanding value and flavor. Craft Cocktails & Details: The cucumber and gin drink was crisp and delicious. We also appreciated the generous portions of wasabi and house-style white ginger (which is far better quality than the dyed pink variety). Areas for Improvement Sodium Sensitivity: The zucchini appetizer was good but noticeably salty. My husband limits sodium for medical reasons, and while staff confirmed the soy sauce was low sodium, it tasted quite high in sodium to us. Extra transparency or true low-sodium options would be helpful for guests with health restrictions. Ambiance & Space: The space is quite small. During our visit, the sushi bar felt a bit claustrophobic and the dining room felt tight. A larger space would let their expert sushi chefs truly shine. Happy Hour Opportunity: We rushed over expecting Happy Hour between 4:00 and 5:00 PM, only to find out it had been discontinued. The restaurant was very quiet during that hour. Bringing back and promoting an early happy hour could be a great way to fill that dead time and draw in a crowd. Final Thoughts Between the expert sushi chefs and the remarkable food quality, this has the potential to be the single best sushi spot in Tulsa if it gets the space to expand. Perhaps Simply opening the sushi bar to the dining room would make both rooms seem larger. As a bonus for travelers, Mr. Nobu's is on the Southwest Airlines Dining Awards list (3 points per dollar with a Rapid Rewards card), which is a huge perk if you're earning toward a Companion Pass! We will definitely be back.

The chef and wait staff friendly and always a pleasure. However, the last take out order was not up to par for what we have always experienced with MoJ. We very frequently order the same thing: Sushi Regular and Shrimp Fried Rice, so this was not like a one-off. My husband said the shrimp was hard and when I plated it, it smelled like rancid oil. My sushi had cloudy salmon roe that I have never seen before, and my husband said the tuna tasted very fishy, and he could not eat it. The surf clam piece was chewy and when fresh, it is not chewy. I wish I had taken pictures but nothing _looked_ bad except for the salmon roe. Aside from the decline in quality, the wait staff is mostly new and not friendly. This will affect the ambience. I'm not concerned about decor. That can change. But with unfriendly staff, I am not inclined to dine in to see what else has changed. One guy was abrupt to my husband during a phone call. He said the guy had "a tone." This is not New York where no one should be offended by locals' rapid-fire conversations. This is Oklahoma where people are supposed to be more polite and patient, especially wait staff. While it may seem that I'm being overly critical, please bear in mind that after 20 years of consistent quality, suddenly we get poor quality and unhappy staff. I don't know if ownership has changed or if the previous owner has turned operations over to someone else, but I cannot give MoJ 5 stars anymore.

The fried rice was comparable to eating pieces of gravel. But who doesn't love eating a little bit of pebbles for lunch? I also had some shrimp and scallops. Three of us went to Osaka for lunch today. It was the first time my wife and I had been there but…read morethe third in our group had been there before. Upon entering the main entrance and getting our buzzer for a 5 to 10 minute wait, I was horrified when I looked up at the ceiling lights and noticed that the tops of the light shades apparently have not been cleaned any time in the last decade. They were disgusting. I then went into the men's bathroom to wash my hands and there were paper towels all over the floor and it just had a smell that I found quite unappealing. Not the cleanest bathroom I've ever been in, that's for sure. After that shaky start we were seated at a Hibachi table and waited a few minutes for a few more people to be seated at that same table. Menus were delivered by an efficient server, drink orders were taken and delivered fairly quickly. Our hibachi chef was quite personable and had a funny attitude. When I told him that this was our first time there and that I expected him to put on quite a show he replied that this was his first day. It was a joke. He then proceeded to dazzle us with his handy work with a knife and spatula. It was quite amazing. I particularly enjoyed the onion volcano. I ordered teriyaki steak as a lunch special and it was only about $12. It was cooked perfectly medium rare as I had requested. With everything you get with that including fried rice, vegetables (mushrooms, zuchinni, onions), bean sprouts and a nice salad with an orange ginger dressing that was amazing, I'd have to say it was one of the best values in a restaurant I've had in a long time. I actually can't wait to go back because it was entertaining, the food was delicious and it's a unique experience. What absolutely needs to be improved is the cleanliness of the entranceway and the bathrooms. If I hadn't been so hungry I might've turned around and left before even experiencing the food due to the initial impression.
