Don't waste your money. 12 oz cup filled w/ice and poured from premade drink dispenser. No alcohol. Drank the whole thing. Thought I'd feel something. NOTHING. There was let anything in there. So it seems like every year the Tully nut glass has more ice in it and it goes up a dollar in price, but I don't care because I love it! Tully nuts are my favorite drinks ever! They are delightfully refreshing yet potent. About three usuall knocks me on my ass. It's easy to overdo it on these bad boys because they are easy to drink, but they really do sneak up on you so be careful, gentle reader. As far as the rest of the bar, I really don't care about the rest of the bar. I come for the Tully nuts, so I never noticed what is on draft. The bartender Friday night, 8/30 was quite rude. His attitude was just obnoxious. Did not want to answer any question I had, and then made comments about me being a tourist. When, in fact, I lived in South Jersey until 21, only relocating to Bucks County, PA, and truly believe in keeping local money local. Super disappointed with this place. The bouncer, Mike, who probably isn't old enough to drink at the bar, has no idea what he is looking for with his ID checks. My friends and I went there just for a chill night and he said he just wasn't letting in two of my friends simply because he "just wasn't taking them." We asked for reason and he had none, which is probably because they are valid IDs and he didn't know why he wasn't taking them. Looking through the window you could see 18 y/o's chilling at the bar, yet my 21+ friend group wouldn't get in. He offered a paper for all of us to fill out, even the ones he said he would let in, so clearly he just doesn't know what he's doing. There was a line forming behind us and people were looking at us confused and the bartender "Rum" said, "oh wow, why even bother with them" when he stepped outside. That is my honest review of this place, why even bother. read more

I love this bar!! Yes it's a dive but where can u find a bar like this except in a resort town like wildwood??? The place is warm and inviting and the people that work there friendly... attentive but not pushing you into buying more drinks The decor is tired but what do you expect from a dive!! There are bar games and a killer juke box. Great tunes many long forgotten There signature drink is the super tully but. The recipe is a secret but it has 5 liquors and is red in color. I tried it and it did nothing for me although they serve tons of these every other person had one. The mixture is housed in a retro "orangeade" mixer cooler like you would see at the old Woolworth counter. I was told that the batch I sampled was not particularly good but I stuck with the 24oz harp draft which was a bargain I'm sure I'll be back... can't believe it took me so long to wonder in Btw cherry bombs and pickle back also available. Came in here on a saturday night and it was super packed with a 21st birthday party. There was an ID check at the front door and once inside there is plenty of seating at the bar and at tables. The vibe was pretty cool and a little old fashioned. Besides alcohol, they also serve snack food. I had to try the infamous "Tully Nut"- 19% alcohol mixed drink for about $9 each. It was so good no wonder they keep the recipe a secret! I was a little disappointed that it was served in a plastic cup- but I recently found out that if you sit at the bar you can get it in a glass. Props to the waitresses for being attentive but not pushy about ordering more drinks. Can't wait to go back to get another tully nut! Pro-tip: you can't start a tab at this bar read more

I visited some friends in the Philly area and we came down to Wildwood to stay for July 4th. The night before, we came to No. 1 Tavern because my friend suggested I try the drink they're known for (the Tully Nut). The recipe is a secret, but it's basically a red alcoholic beverage served on ice (19% alcohol content) with a frothy foam on the top. You can't taste any alcohol in it at all, which is a good thing (but can also be a dangerous thing). The Tully Nuts were a little steep ($9.00) but they were still good and were a great way to start off a fun, adventurous night. If I'm ever back in Wildwood in the future, I'll come here again. read more

Nice bouncer and looked fun but didn't accept IDs that weren't New Jersey or Pennsylvania.

This dirty little bar had run out of wings on a Friday night before midnight with about thirty people in the place, and they gave me two drinks for $17 which were watered down. I wouldn't think of trying their signature drink simply because I feel that the buzz about it is fabricated. There's a placard for christs sake. The music was played from a 60 year old DJ, seemingly stuck in 1983. Save your money. read more

Awful, the $10 Tully nut (which this bar was sued on for ingredient fraud) is just a watered down fruit punch Hi-C in about a 10 oz cup. They don't accept anything other than cash (how is this legal? Get with the times you cheapskates), and the atmosphere is extremely gloomy and unsettling. No remodels or capital expenditures has been put anywhere into improving this establishment. I was also told from a current employee that they stash their Tully nut drink in a cabinet for months on end. Save your money people. read more

Place is a serious dive. We go here because the rest of the bars are too crowded. Cherry bombs are cool for $1. Their Tully Nut is a $9-10 cup of ice with what I consider a nasty drink in a plastic cup. Place hasn't changed in looks in what looks to be 30-40 years. It's not horrendous, but not great. Could not say enough good things about the no 1 tavern! Whether you start your night here, stop here along the way, or end your night here, you will always have a great time! Rummy, Christian, and Caroline are always a good time! They make great drinks, they are friendly, fun, and work fast and efficient! All wonderful bartenders. Walked into this dive of a bar and sat at a table. The server stopped by and asked 4? and walked away. He came back with 4 mixed drinks, the super tully nut. Okay, red and foamy, light in flavor. Next thing I know I'm being charged $9 per drink for this quote on quote legendary drink. I walked out feeling like I just got robbed. Never again. I never used Yelp in my entire life, so this is my VERY FIRST review. This place sucks. Bottom line. I asked for a Tullynut without ice. I'm sure I'm not the first person or the last person who is told NO. They will NOT serve it to you without the entire cup filled to the top with ice. This HAS to be illegal. There is no way that they should be allowed to do that. But even if they gave you what you paid for (which they dont), the drink itself is horrible. They claim they put all these different alcohols in the drink, but me as a bit of a boozer I can honestly say I get more bang for my buck drinking a basic vodka and OJ. This drink may be famous (in a self proclaimed sense). It needs to be famous for being one of the biggest rip-offs wildwood has to offer. Oh.... And Go Eagles! And I bet if a health inspector or liquor control came in and asked what was in their drink they wouldn't say "it's a secret". So that whole "secret" is a bunch of crap. read more
