A wide open bar - inside and outside. I suspect having to do with the Governor's orders re COVID. "Outdoor" seems to be a very subjective idea. Live music and seating at the bar but no bar service. Hi tops are next to the bar spaced apart and serviced by floor servers. We got one of those. The place was crowded it was about 7pm on a Saturday. Service was spotty but finally caught up after the floor manager assigned a server. She was pleasant and efficient once she got to us. Really nothing to distinguish this place from many others in this part of N. Wildwood. But it was on the way for us so was worth a stop. We ordered a few beers - in cans, and some tequila. All ok. We found this place as we were out for a walk. We were a little hungry and I was craving a margarita so we stopped in. After we were seated and ordered drinks I checked the reviews and got a little nervous but ordered food with an open mind. We were so glad we did! The shrimp tacos were delish and the guacamole and chips were very good! And, the drinks were excellent!! Then, the live music started - Ray Coleman sang a great mix of songs as he strummed along on his guitar! One of my favorite North Wildwood bars to go to. Love music on the weekends! Great food and great service.

Been here four times this summer and have yet to get a quality margarita. if you're going to be a taco and tequila place make a good margarita with consistency. Margaritas aren't cheap ($23 for house) and are made with below well tequilla. Even when you order a premium margarita ($16) it's weak and tasteless. I can't believe a tequilla bar doesn't have every bartender making the same house margarita. Four times and four bad margs. The food is mediocre at best - had chicken tacos and nachos and both were just ok. This place is such a disappointment. read more

My friends and I just tried to go here for her 21st birthday celebration, she just turned 21 a couple days ago, and they were so rude to us and treated us as if we were underage. Even after scanning our iDs, they kept us waiting for so long and refused to even give us menus. After a while, they came back over to us and said they weren't going to serve us. Terrible way to treat new customers especially when we were there to celebrate a birthday and were all legally of age to drink. Do not go here if you are trying to have a good time. read more

You may want to reconsider your crass, obnoxious and downright rude server there. Two times I went to your establishment and each time, my encounter with her ruined our experience. We never got her name but she has dark hair and glasses and likes to accuse people of stealing. We did not. Twice. Bones was our bartender and he was amazing and that's why we came back. Her decision to work was based upon how much we were going to tip. We found that to be rude. Also. She was ignorant to a friend with us who is of the gay community. Just a word to the wise. We ordered a chicken Burrito and quesadillas.. There was no chicken in either one the quesadilla was all cheese (not even good cheese) the rice in the burrito was terrible. 2nd time we went. Last year we really enjoyed it. This time it was like an episode of BAR RESCUE. The waitress was great. She took our drink order and was very attentive. We were the only other table at the time we ordered food. Its a very limited menu and we were interested in the tacos-2/$10 or 3/$13. We startted to order and she told us that a "special order would make the cook angry". We laughed that off and figured out a work around. I then asked about draft beer and she let us know it was "broken" and no idea when it would be fixed so I asked about bottled selection and was told "none"-CANS ONLY. At this point we both laughed and expected John Taffer to come bursting in. Again-The service was great but with all the choices available in the Northend I dont think this place is long for this spot IMO. read more

Everyone working here was very nice, from Joe the owner to our server. Unfortunately they tried a few times to get our drinks made correctly (or even to the point where we could drink them) but each time they came out tasting like dirty dishwater. Now these weren't complicated drinks, Stoli O and club soda. 2 ingredients and they were awful, not sure how that happens?? The server was aces and tried to get the situation corrected and remade the drinks using a different tap for the club but it was still awful. We finally went with beer because when you open the can you know what your getting. Also, before the Stoli O and clubs, we ordered the orange crushes and I'm certain they were made with Hi-C or Tang. read more

Went in here Saturday of Memorial Day weekend 2018 around midnight. All the other bars were too crazy so we went here. Actually got a spot at the bar which was nice. Bartenders were nice. Ordered a margarita ($7) and it came in a plastic Miller Lite cup. Ok, it's the Anglesea bar scene late night but glasses for a margarita would've made it better. We asked for salt and got none. I was hungry so I thought I would get a taco. If I remember correctly, she said she had to get a server to take care of us. Usually when you're at a bar, the bartender can take your order. If that's true, they should change that quickly. We didn't end up getting tacos because...they weren't on the menu she gave us! Only Joe Joe's Pizza items were on it from next door, but not tacos at the taco and tequila bar! Now, maybe this was just a late night thing and they didn't serve anything but pizza or something, but it's a taco bar! The name is painted on the wall behind where we are sitting! So we changed our minds and I stood on line next door to get a whole pizza at Joe Joe's. And...the pizza sucked. I guess it's only good when you're hammered and stumbling out of the bar. Oh, and there is this piece of furniture that blocks the two places: Joe Joe's and the Taco & Tequila Bar. Problem is, it's not anchored to the floor and it's wobbly! I almost knocked it over, as did many others! Safety hazard! Went back to the bar to close out our bill and she gave us someone else's bill. Ugh. We let her know and she gave us the right bill and our credit card. I know, it's Memorial Day weekend so everyone is busy. I think this was its first weekend with the tequila bar so I hope they fix these things. I'd like to come back there. read more

Everything here was awful. First, the wait. Our waitress completely ignored us, yet stopped at the two tables left and right of us. After about 15 minutes, she dropped the menus and was gone. I managed to ask for a beer. That was OK because it was bottle and pretty cold. The guacamole was warm and tasted like store bought with some salt added. The temperature of the guacamole was in violation of the food code. There were no napkins on our table, not the one next to us. I guess we are supposed to wipe hands on our jeans. The music and the musician sucked. Really, really sucked. The noise level was so great that you could not talk to the person next to you. I wish I could give them zero stars. Stopped in Thursday July 5th grabbed some tacos pork authentic and some guacamole and had an espolon and lemonade sat at the bar. Really good 2 man acoustic band and I thought the food was very good and the three different bartenders that were working did a great job as well as our server. Great new restaurant and bar in North Wildwood. We loved how the entire front of the bar is open so you can look out onto the always lively Olde New Jersey Avenue. Server was very nice and knowledgeable. Drinks and appetizers were very good. We will be back!! read more

Will never be returning. Worst service ever. The most absurd and disrespectful two bartenders in the world. When walking into the bar at 11pm on a Tuesday night with friends and family in a large party to sit at the bar and enjoy our week long vacation and to then be screamed at within 2 minutes of walking in by the women bartender asking "if I am an expert server" and if "I ever bartended a day in my life" because it was so absurd that we wanted our own tabs. Which is not out of the norm if you ever worked in a restaurant or ANY bar anywhere especially in a beach town. The man behind the bar who threw the card at my pregnant cousin telling us to "get the fuck out" because when he goes out with his friends they throw one card out and just Venmo each other. As wildwood locals who have been coming to wildwood since we were children and we be continuing to come here for years to come, we will make sure that no one we know will EVER spend any money in this establishment EVER AGAIN. read more

Don't ever ever ever eat here! The service is AWFUL!! We came with our 1 year old, 2 year old , and 4 year old. Waited half an hour to get fries, they were disgusting. Our waitress was completely inattentive and apathetic, everything took FOREVER! The Mexican food was mediocre. We had to change our baby's diaper in the restaurant because there's no changing table in the bathrooms. The bathrooms were disgusting and not stocked with toilet paper or paper towels. Terrible. I ordered guac and chips. The chips were all broken to the point where you couldn't dip. The guacamole was the kind you buy at a store. We also got an order of pico de gallo and chips - also horrible. The pico tasted like bruschetta topping (as they also run the Italian place next door). Again, barely any chips that you could actually dip. My husband's fish tacos were "uneventful and salty". My friend asked for another soda because she said her diet tasted "funny". I was surprised none of us got sick afterwards. Loud and annoying music in the middle of the day. AVOID this place. read more

Food was good and it was quite quick, the booze on the other hand was terrible. Tequila selection was horrible and the beer was no better. As for service I was unimpressed as they had no care for serving. I pass by all the time as a local and understand why, I'd rather pay more at the surrounding establishments. read more
