It must be the luckiest person alive. I walked in with only 10 minutes to spare, but was immediately greeted, and chaired. The place is really calm and I have to give hats off service champion awards for my stylist only 65 bucks for a trim and haircut? Here I come. Parking sucks but just plan on doing some extra searching and it's only 5-10 minutes most of the time. Well worth it though! They take all forms of payment

NO FILTER REVIEW This place is on point. They know what they are doing with a razor; they can color your beard, clean up the brows, line you up and get you out of there within the hour for a quick cut. Easy appointment access via Booksy, they take cash, Zelle, Venmo! Walking welcomed and usually have someone willing and able to take you. Ask for JJ; a master with the razor and a straight shave. Great hair cut from Gio the Barber! This was my first time trying No Filter and the process was a breeze. Gio is friendly, detailed, and helped guide me through the different cutting methods. If you're looking for a great haircut, look no further. Book with Gio and you'll look like a billion bucks after a haircut with him! Big plus- they are open 7 days a week until 10pm! Booked a last minute appointment with Ivan Cuba for 8PM on a Tuesday. Got seated at around 8:20, but I didn't mind the wait. Service was great, and Ivan was careful and thoughtful and made sure that everything was up to my liking. I told him I was a bit worried since I typically go fly to SF (i know...) for my barber but I had no time this time around. Got a slow fade on the side and slight cut up top, no problem. Highly recommend. Friendly vibes and good service and affordable prices. read more

Used to love this place. $40 for a cut. JJ did a good cut. But canceling on me twice in a row and on the day of - at one point texting me at 3:00 AM - is not cool. Wanted to book with another barber (Ivan) but got a text that he charges $50. Sorry I won't be back. read more

I guess I should've read the reviews regarding last-minute cancellations carefully before relying on an appointment here. I made an appointment for 9:15am on a Sunday, and needed a haircut for an event later in the day, but the barber texted me at 8:00am canceling. Make it make sense. Looks like this is a recurrent theme at this place. read more

First haircut in 5 months looked up different shops and decided to give no filter a try.. all I gotta say is highly recommend ,I booked a last minute appointment about 30 minutes before and I was taken by Randy. Everything was clean when walking in asked right away how they can help. There was Aew on the tv which was great but when I asked if the dodger game can be put on Randy had no problem changing it (other shops have had issues or deny request at times). The cut was great I had some dust from work but Randy had no problem washing my head up to get a good quality cut which most barbers won't I fersure will be going back and also taking my son when it's time for a cut. Only bad part is parking I would recommend getting a uber or dropped off but the cut and barbershop itself GREAT. read more

I've been coming here for five years now and it's the only shop I'll go to in LA. Every barber is skilled but if you get the chance to get JJ, make sure you do. He'll clean your fade and beard up within the hour and never disappoints. Vibe is great as well. OG barbershop talk and vibes 10/10 read more

Been going to No Filter Barbeshop for A year now since my old barber retired. Had that anxiety of having a new barber. I booked my appointment with Ivan. He got bad skills and has amazing blending which makes you feel fresh. You can walk in but the best thing to set an appointment, so you don't have to wait. Only problem is the parking. Other that your golden. Everyone I've seen can cut, but I personally only got cut by Ivan read more

Been going here for a couple of years now, and it's the best barbershop in the area that will get you a cut without costing an arm and leg. Shop is clean with a very welcoming vibe. They have numerous barbers so walk ins don't have to wait long but I still recommend booking an appointment through Booksy. I go to Kane and his cuts are always fast and clean. He's also very friendly and it's never a silent cut. Parking could be tricky at some times but I've never had to drive around more than 10 minutes to find a spot. read more

I came to this barbershop after my current Barber moved to Hawaii. This place is my favorite for several reasons. 1. They have very flexible hours and they don't charge to make an online appointment. 2. I always get a high quality cut and fade. 3. JJ is my go to barber and he has amazing knowledge and training. 4. The owner Elvis is vey accommodating and runs a smooth shop and always customer service centered. Don't come here if you don't want the nasty razor bumps on your skin they clearly don't clean their clippers and nobody talked to me the whole time tbh my experience there was a 2/10 and it was 45 dollars for the cut I'm not from here but if I was I'd never give them my business ever read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience at No filter because of how attentive and personable barber kane was. He made the cut for our 14 and 12 year old boys a super special treat and made the environment really enjoyable with great music and great smelling products at his station. They won't stop talking about how much they love their hair 10/10 read more

Moved around the area a couple months ago and needed to find a new barber in the area and came across these guys. I was able to book an online appointment super easy no hassle. I've gotten two haircuts here with Eric and Kane, both are great guys and amazing with the clippers/scissors! Gave them a reference for style and got exactly what I asked for but came out even better then expected. Quick, clean, and precise cut both times. I have a fairly simple understanding of hairstyles and proper hair maintenance. The barber Javin asked me questions about my usual hairstyle and went through suggestions regarding trimming technique. Ultimately, I went with low fade with and a touch up on the top. He mentioned my two hair whorls and overall head shape provided some considerations on what he thought would look natural, which I appreciated. In the end, the fade was perfect. Afterwards I went in for quick shampoo and conditioner which targeted my dandruff. While the location is somewhat out of the way for me, I can definitely rely on their dedication and handiwork.

I'd been getting the same high fade for a decade and wanted to try the longer wave thing everyone's doing. The first barber I asked for it butchered it, mostly because he'd never done a long cut in his life. Gianni took one look, diagnosed what was actually going on up there, and got me to a halfway cut. A couple months later, the cut grew in as he planned and he took me from 80 to 100%, right in time for my vow renewal. His profile calls him the brushback king and I couldn't agree more. Fair warning: he's meticulous, so plan on real time in the chair. You get what you pay for! Also book ahead. At least a month, in my experience. Gianni's popular and I've never once seen anyone get off the waitlist. The shop itself is worth the trip on its own. Great furniture, plants everywhere, and a back patio you can sit on if you're early or just want to hang. Vibes and the place is always clean. Their systems are top notch too. Plenty of notice before your appointment, everything organized, they offer you a drink when you sit down, and they use good products from the wash through the styling. The host is always so nice, everyone there is personable, and the music's great. One heads up: no parking lot. Street parking can be iffy if you catch a bad day, but there's usually at least one spot within a block. Go see Gianni!

Angelo is a talented barber but he's standoffish and condescending to female clients. I didn't want to argue with him because I don't want to run the risk of getting really bad cut. Isabel is also really good - she listens to my preferences of getting my haircut, and she doesn't get upset if I ask for adjustments. This spot is really good and convenient. The women stylists are so easy to work with. Angelo can be condescending at times.

I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Finding someone who is skilled and patient enough to handle a kid's squirmy energy while still delivering a fantastic cut is rare, and Elvis nails it every time.
