They did not have me do an intake form or fill anything out beforehand, so make sure you communicate any specific needs if you have them. The masseuse was very friendly and the room was relaxing. The lights were dim, there was a sound machine on and music playing. The bed was also heated which was a really nice touch. Since I'm pregnant, she had me lay on my side hugging a body pillow, then I switched sides. She spent time massaging my back, butt, neck, arms, legs, hands, feet and toes. She was gentle, I'm assuming since I'm pregnant and it was very relaxing. She also gave me a bottle of water on the way out. It lasted exactly an hour.

Fast forward and it seems that the acne is under control (or at least controllable) but I was left with hyper pigmentation (dark spots) on my cheeks and forehead. I was introduced to Kelly (owner of Haven Spa Boutique) and she immediately sat down with me and gave me a full skin mapping (under the bright light...I mean the works). She customized a facial program for me and I have noticed a tremendous difference. My skin is softer, less breakouts, and most importantly...the dark spots are fading! I know she will get my skin back to were it used to be and better. Since then I have also gotten my eyelashes tinted and they turned out great...it looks like I have on light mascara most days. I truly recommend this place...you won't be disappointed (plus she takes continued education which is a major score for me...it make me trust her more with my skin knowing she's taking additional classes for different types of skin)!

Wasn't a fan of her technique. She gave quick and fast strokes - like she was rushing. Overall, it was okay. As I had another service after the massage a robe was left for me to put on so I could walk to a different room. The robe is not plus size friendly! My next service was a dermaplane facial. Again, did not like her technique especially when it was time for the dermaplane; nearly felt like she didn't know what she was doing. I paid a total of $240 for both services. As this experience was just "okay" for me, I don't plan to return.

I like that she is a plastic surgeon and not just a PA or nurse who has gone to some training sessions to learn to inject fillers. Dr. Ashley is very direct and will tell you what you need (which is not always what you thought you wanted). I trust her expertise and have not been disappointed with the results. Yes, there is some pain but it's mostly just tiny pinches and it only lasts a few seconds. I try to schedule my appointments either late in the day or on my day off in case there is any swelling. You can return to work the following day without your coworkers noticing you had something done (they just think you look refreshed).
