I've been a client for about 1year now and I highly recommend Queen Sugar! I was looking for a sugaring service provider in Charlotte and found Khiana on Google. I was extremely pleased with my results! I had Silky smooth skin after my first Brazilian & underarm sugaring. Now, I come consistently every 4-5 weeks and I no longer have the hair bumps & dark marks I used to have with shaving. If you've never tried sugaring, I highly recommend you give the service a try. It's much better than shaving and traditional waxing! (FYI, she does traditional waxing as well). Service is quick and she makes you feel very comfortable and relaxed. I had a Brazilian sugaring at the Uptown location. It was my first sugaring appointment as well as my first Brazilian. Khiana was amazing, gentle and answered all my questions before my service begun. I truly enjoyed everything and she now has a new client, I'll be returning for my maintenance appointments. I live in Los Angeles but really wish I could fly in town every month just to be serviced by Khiana. Beyond top tier customer service every time, I've been extremely satisfied with results (I never feel like my Brazilian is perfect anywhere I've tried in Cali). She also takes time to teach you how to properly care your skin and safe ways to prevent skin damage or breakouts. I love it here!!! read more

I love love love Khiana. I have been going to her for at least 2 years now. I was looking for someone who does sugaring and I found her. I get my Brazilian and underarms done here religiously every month. She is very knowledgeable about skincare. She is super funny and very personable. She is punctual and her salon is always immaculate. She don't play about that mask and sanitizer either so you will feel safe even during the pandemic. This will always be my go to place. This was my first-time visiting Queen Sugar for a Spa Party during my bridal weekend in Charlotte, NC. I want to sum up my review by simply saying AMAZING! The owner Khiana was so hospitable and accommodating to our group. She is a subject matter expert (SME) and phenomenal at her craft. She allowed us to rent her entire studio for a private party. You might ask what so AMAZING about it my answer was EVERYTHING: The space is so beautiful, comfortable, relaxing, decorated fabulously I might add and serene. She allowed us to listen to music of our choosing, the owner was extraordinary, customer service was exceptional, the services were top notch and some of the most unique offerings I've ever seen in a Spa and Waxing provider. I showed the same nail tech the design I wanted, and she confirmed she could do it. Unfortunately, she struggled throughout the service, repeatedly removing and restarting the design. By the time the salon was closing, my nails were still not finished. After nearly two hours, around 7:45 PM, I politely asked for the design to be removed and a plain polish applied instead. I did not raise my voice or cause a scene, and I even apologized for the tech having to stay past closing. I paid in full and left calmly, although I was unhappy with the service. The following morning, I received a text from someone claiming to be a manager, stating that I was BANNED from the salon like I'm some kind of criminal. I found this unprofessional and disappointing. At no point was I rude or disrespectful. I was patient, communicative, and understanding, even when the service could not be completed as agreed. I would have appreciated an apology or accountability from an incompetent nail tech rather than being dismissed for calmly expressing dissatisfaction with a service that was not delivered as promised. What I received instead was deflection and lazy management. Sounds like a lawsuit for discrimination. Be blessed.

Although Melissa asked me to give her two months for a refund, which I did, and she sent me a photo of the refund precessing a month ago - still no refund and only long, dramatic diatribes instead from her. This was my experience and I would not recommend this company and would not want other customers to fight for refunds and deal with all of this nonsense. I believe she just got back from a month long vacation which makes it worse. I hope this helps others who may be thinking of using her services.

So without too many details, I am very please with my waxing results! She used the blue wax and took her time. She also does facials.
