We went to No-Jacks tonight for dinner. We waited about 15 minutes before the server took our order. About 15 minutes later he came to our table and informed us that my chicken was dropped on the floor, so they would have to start my order over again. It was another 20 minutes before our food came out. My wife had ordered clam chowder for her meal... It was terrible, thick and pasty! She took one bite and couldn't eat any more. I shared my chicken with her. The fried chicken was delicious!! When the server brought our check I informed him that she couldn't eat the soup. His reply was, that's too bad. No offer to remove it from our bill. Also, the price of her clam chowder on the menu was 4.99, and the price of the fried chicken was 14.99. Was pleasantly surprised by the interior of No Jacks. Sports Bar atmosphere in a strip mall. Service was good although a bit slow for only the 15 /20'peeps in the place. Food did come out quickly and was delicious. My wife had the BBQ Pork Steak which said was delicious and tender. I elected the four piece chicken dinner which was also very good. Lots of daily specials attracting customers to this off the beaten path spot. Will definitely come back it's a bit far for a weekly visit but am adding to our list. read more

Great menu, great food, great ownership! We recently moved to the area and No Jacks is a short drive from to our house and we now eat here often. We love everything on the menu, but their fried chicken is my favorite. They also have great fried fish. Their wings are wonderful and they make fantastic salads too! Get here early on the weekends because it can get busy, but the servers are always quick and attentive. During a recent power outage, No Jacks offered free meals to people in the community who were without power for days. Their owners seem like good people. read more

It was a Saturday afternoon and steady. There was a whole bunch of people coming and going from the kitchen but only three wait staff. We were attracted there by advertising on Facebook of these delicious barbecued pork states and traveled 23 miles. My wife ordered the barbecued pork steak and I order a three meat pizza. At the time of the order, I asked the waitress to come to the other side of the table as I only have hearing on that side, Every time the waitress returned to the table, she would talk on my death side. The food came, the pork steak had been cooked in an oven and the Pizza was luke warm at the best. The first two pieces you could taste the sauce but nothing after that and the cheese was under the meat making it a dry pizza. I am not sure if things have changed over the years but if you have a couple dining out the bill goes to the man at the table and I watch the other two staff do exactly that. Our waitress by passed me and handed it to my wife. Then the bill came and without asking how were were paying, imagine my shock that there was a 3% technology fee. Don't get me wrong its not about the money but the principle. I asked the waitress if this was printed on the menu or were we notified about it and she said no. I told her that i wished the charge to be removed and she argued she couldn't remove it. Frustrated I told he to just bring my change. She returns my change and continues to want to argue about it and saying its not my fault. I walked out. Normally, I come here with a larger group (4-8 people). The atmosphere is great, and it is never too loud. Though the wait to get served is somewhat long. I understand that the workers have to figure out who needs to be helped still because of the seat-yourself style, but they could be on top of their game more. No Jacks does a good job to separate spaces for families or more bar geared people. There is even a large party space. The food is somewhat good, sometimes it takes long to receive your food. The waiters take a long time to get your drinks and food. The menu is lengthy, but it serves well because there different options with varying price ranges as well. Though it is not as cheap as some places, I believe it is worth your money to get the meal you want. The workers here are very friendly, but some of them tend to forget requests that I have made. During two visits, someone in my group needed a child menu, and our waitress forgot twice to bring it out to them. No Jacks is a very comfortable place and I feel very welcomed in the atmosphere. Had to send back food because it was cold and how can you mess up toasted ravs? They were hard as a brick and should have never left the kitchen. The upside....the service is always great. Staff is super friendly and is more than willing to correct any and all problems. The decor is nice but it can be a little chilly at times.
