My buddy and I stopped In for an early lunch while out on our bikes, we got there before opening and the lady told us to come on in even though it was about 10 minutes til. Service was super fast and friendly. These gizzards were AMAZING, some of the best I've ever had. We will definitely be coming back to try some of their weekly specials and the frog legs on the menu.

Went with a friend and had their cheeseburger and cod. Both were very good, service was good and I definitely plan on going back.

Meeting friends here for brunch was a pleasant experience. The menu is varied enough to offer both…read morebreakfast and lunch options, with plenty of choices and nothing imaginative. The prices are very reasonable. When we asked about specialty coffee drinks, our server showed us an electronic tablet-- we had to pass it around to read our options. They were all very sweet concoctions named for desserts, and the ones my companions chose were indeed so pumped with syrup and flavors and sprinkles that the taste of coffee was nowhere to be found. Our food was just fine. The waffle was sweet and fluffy. The Berry Salad was exactly as described: iceberg, lettuce, berries, pecans. The berries were fresh; the chicken was heavily seasoned (mostly salty and saturated) and the poppyseed dressing was very sweet. The quiche had plenty of spinach in it but was rather rubbery (I know quiche can be tricky-- it has a really long cooking time so it can't be made to order, and rewarming does it no favors) and the potato soup was okay. Both the salad and the quiche/soup combo had a croissant on the side; they seemed similar to the ones purchased by the dozen at Costco. Mine seemed dry on the outside with a faint moldy taste in the bottom. The patio was very pleasant, and inside looked cozy. The staff did a great job of making everyone feel welcome and keeping our glasses refilled and such. There's a big parking lot adjacent, though many of the spots say they're reserved for a different business. I saw that high chairs are available. Gendered restrooms are inside. The place accepts cash and credit cards.

We had high hopes for Cafe on the Abbey, but our visit was not a pleasant one. Based on other…read morereviews it may be an anomaly? So perhaps we'll visit again, however, if there weren't so many positive reviews we would never go back. Our coffee flight was probably the worst we've ever had. They were supposed to be iced but came out lukewarm and burnt tasting. We couldn't taste a difference in any of the flavors-likely because it was so burnt tasting that's all we could taste. Neither of us liked our food. My husband's pancakes were dry and he said they tasted like they had been microwaved. My healthy bowl tasted like mostly old/not fresh ingredients. The Brussel sprouts were supposed to be shaved, but were instead halved and appeared/tasted like they were from the prior day. The Parmesan cheese was also prepackaged and not freshly grated, and for the price we paid ($50+) we didn't expect to be served food low-quality food. The only picture I took was of our coffee. Our server did the bare minimum. They weren't rude, but also weren't friendly. We ran out of Cholula sauce and she grabbed one from another table with people sitting there. Overall a very poor experience. Based completely on this one experience we would never return.

You can tell they're still pretty new but dang are they comfy. The booths and lighting also got a makeover, I think, so everything looks really nice on the interior. Our service was very good, with our server consistently checking up on us and keeping our drinks refilled. Oftentimes she would come by and refill or give us more sauce without even needing to ask which is always nice! For the food, had to get the pretzel bites again this year (didn't get a photo sadly), but they were amazing as always and the cheese sauce was the perfect temp and flavor to go along with the crisp, soft, and slightly sweet pretzel bite dough. For my entree, I went with the NY steak sandwich with a side of onion rings & horseradish sauce. I'm more of a fan of steak sandwiches that have cut meat rather than a full slab/steak, so despite this one being a full steak it was still pretty good. The bread was buttery and crispy, the provel cheese added an STL metro feel to it, and the horseradish sauce, although not very creamy, was a very nice addition (had to request it on the side). The onion rings were just okay; I thought they didn't have too much flavor but they were pretty crunchy which was nice and matched the expected style when looking at them. I would've liked some more flavor from the onion rings and maybe a veggie addition or something to the steak sandwich, but overall the food was pretty good this year. I will definitely be back again, hopefully before next year!

Just finished an excellent meal at Tiny's. The service was outstanding. I had the bratwurst. The…read moresausage itself was noteworthy. Grilled to perfection, moist and with a delicious flavor. The griddled onion and sauerkraut are what every good brat should have, and the roll was exceptional. I ordered fries and they were also worth noting, not just a filler. They are cut wide and thin, which is unusual, fried to the perfect crispness and well seasoned. My husband had chicken schnitzel with German potato salad. I make the best German potato salad in the bi-state area if I do say so myself, but Tiny's is unique and delicious. They use a red potato with skin on, and the dressing is very peppery with a sweet and sour bacon base. Overall I highly recommend Tiny's. We will be back!
