My daughters car was towed to a lot at NMLD Towing, LLC on 4981 Rozzelles Ferry Road in Charlotte, by either FAFO or Trust Towing. It is still not clear who actually authorized the tow. Here is the story: My daughter attended a concert in Charlotte with her 15-year-old daughter. When she arrived, a person wearing a vest and directing traffic with a wand appeared to be guiding vehicles into a nearby movie theater parking lot. Although there were signs indicating theater parking restrictions, the visible conduct of the traffic attendant created the impression that parking was being directed or permitted for the event, especially because businesses sometimes use or rent nearby lots during large events. When my daughter returned, her vehicle had been towed. She had to take an Uber approximately 20-30 minutes to retrieve it and was charged approximately $780. The towing signage listed FAFO, but other identifying information appears to connect the towing operation or storage location to another towing-related business. We are trying to determine who owned or controlled the lot, who authorized the tow, who employed or directed the traffic attendant, and whether the venue, theater, property owner, or towing company had knowledge of people being directed into a lot where vehicles were then towed. My concern is that drivers may have been misled into parking in a lot and then charged excessive towing fees. I am also concerned that my daughter was pressured to sign paperwork indicating she would not dispute the charge as a condition of getting her vehicle back. After she questioned the tow and recorded the interaction, individuals associated with the situation reportedly laughed at her, treated her disrespectfully, and later made public statements implying that she was abusive toward her own child. Those accusations are false and appear retaliatory. We are requesting preservation of all video footage, tow authorization records, invoices, signage photographs, body-camera footage if any exists, business records showing who authorized the tow, and identification of the person directing vehicles into the lot. We are also requesting a review of whether the tow complied with North Carolina law and Charlotte towing ordinances, including signage requirements, tow authorization requirements, distance/storage rules, fee disclosures, and the prohibition against requiring a waiver of rights as a condition of releasing the vehicle. read more

I got to your establishment at 545pm you charged me 750.00 interest fee per unit and then charged me 250.00 per unit per day. Which is 500.00 my truck was only there 4 hours and 45 min. Terrible thugs At no more locked doors llc I parked my truck at the sunset location on sunset I singed in and I was handed the wrong color window slip. Wednesday night I go load up my truck it's not where I parked it, later to find out my truck has been towed that Wednesday evening no longer no one called the company or myself to tell us where my truck was towed to and the number on the window slip went straight to voicemail.
