At one point I could no longer unlock the Driver's side door from the outside or inside as the long metal arm between the locking peg and the lock itself broke off. No one made or sold that part anymore. I thought I'd have to finish my last year without a car, and then my first couple paychecks after that trying to get a newer one. The mechanics at Mitchell machined a new part and then installed it for about $20. The car saw me through commissioned officer training in the Air Force, and my young family to our first duty station on the East Coast. I'll always be grateful to Mitchell's for going beyond expectations, and at the same time being super understanding of where I was in my life, how needed the car was, and how limited of a budget I had.

After coming back to the shop 3 hours later to pick it up, my car was not at the shop. Turns out they took the car to another shop in town who had the correct machines to get the job done. It would have been nice to know that ahead of time instead of seeing my car driven in to the shop from a different shop. Fast forward to now, my AC went out again several weeks ago and I'll need to take it in once more to inspect what is happening. While this service was cheaper then competitors I feel it may have been worth it in the long run to take it somewhere else because I'll end up paying more to get it done again anyway at this point.

I talked with an older gentleman when dropped off the vehicle and he got my contact wrong. The had…read moremy email but never contacted me. They said the diagnostic would be completed that afternoon but when I called in they said it wouldn't be ready till the next day. When I finally went to pick up the car I spoke with a different guy. Super nice but it sounds like the previous guy didn't write down my problem correctly and they ended up saying I needed to replace my back sensors for a total of a 1000. I told him that I was having problems with my accelerator and he looked really confused like he hadn't been aware of it when I dropped the vehicle off. I think there might have just been poor communication on their part. I just ate $80 diagnostic fee and took it to big o tires and the solved my problem for 600 total, rotated my tires, and patched a flat for free.

In this case it's because they went above and beyond! I had my driver side exhaust manifold repaired by Master Muffler and they did an amazing job. First off they allowed me to walk back and visually see the problem with my truck and explain exactly what was wrong with it and why. There was no smoke and mirrors trying to upsell me on extra repairs. Second, They provided excellent customer service, were very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to fix it. On top of that, they are military friendly and gave me a great discount for being an active duty member. They also were very accommodating to my schedule and made sure to get it done in a timely manner. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy auto repair shop. Five stars for Master Muffler! Oh and one last thing, they even sent me a thank you letter with some brownies in the mail for allowing them to work on my truck. Honestly, hats off to the team working there!

They are always honest about their pricing, even when it is higher than other garages in the area.
