Never even thought of rating my HVAC team on Yelp, but Mike B just left and after I replied they suggested posting reviews here or Google so here I am! I've used No Problem Heating and Cooling for well over a decade and seriously, I swear by them. I had a problem a decade ago and they took care of it quickly so I got the club membership that gets them to come out twice a year to clean the system and see if it looks like we are headed for trouble. And if I have a problem I get ahead of folks who it's unclear whether they do maintenance. Until this year, they only recommended small things be replaced so yeah in January we did the whole system replacement. They gave me options and let me make a truly informed decision with real numbers, etc. I have rarely had to call between check ups, but yesterday something was off and the cooling just wasn't doing it's part so I called & left a message on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. Within an hour or so, I had a text from Mindy (she keeps things moving I tell you!) saying they see there is a problem and they will be in touch first thing in the morning. Here I am less than 24 hours later with a fuse replaced and no worries. Mindy is great about working with me to schedule something that fits my calendar. I get reminders on appointment times and a text that tells me the tech is on the way -- heck you even get a photo, name, etc so you can talk to them by name and know whether this is the same tech as last time, etc. Pics are from past visits cause Mike was here, had it taken care of and gone so quick I never even thought about it. read more

Well, we had a new A/C installed in May. This is the second time it's quit on us. So why am I giving them a great review?? Mindy called before they were open to get someone out ASAP and is always super nice to us. Doug the same tech that was out the first time, who is super nice, explains everything got the unit up and running but needs a new blower motor. This is thru no fault of anyone. It's the unit. But he made sure to get it running so we wouldn't fry since the heat index today will literally be about 110. These are great people trying to help us as quickly as possible. As for Trane, that's a whole different review. You can't blame No Problem for a manufacturers issue. read more

I would warn anyone against using No Problem Heating and Cooling. I was assigned this company through my home warranty company in December when my furnace quit running. A young man came out and took a look at my furnace. He told me there was no way to fix my unit and I needed to replace it. He then quoted me two choices one at $8,000 and another at $11,000. He also urged me to make my decision quickly because EPA freon rules were going to change soon and if it was him he would want the older style freon. He told me that the inside of the furnace was dirty and it caused the motor to fail. Side note: I had just purchased this home a few months prior and the furnace was cleaned by a different company (I have the receipt) as part of our agreement. He also told me that from his experience, he didn't think the insurance company would cover it. Well, he was right about that since he wrote a lengthy report about how dirty the interior of the furnace was, listing additional things he did not say to me, and how that is the reason it failed. Before I was going to spend that kind of money I decided to get a second opinion. I went on my own and had another HVAC company come out and take a look at my furnace. Within 15 minutes he had my furnace running and heating my home again. He had to go get a couple other minor parts and came back that day and replaced them so it was running full force. I asked this HVAC guy if his company cleaned furnaces since the representative from No Problem Heating and Cooling said it was filthy and that was the reason it had broke. He said that they do clean furnaces, but mine did not need to be cleaned, it was fine!! He also said there was nothing wrong with the motor and that was not one of the parts he replaced!! It has been running perfect through all this cold weather since early December! No issues! And best of all he only charged me $350! Either No Problem Heating and Cooling has employees that don't know what they're doing or they are a total scam. It's one or the other. I wonder how many people they have talked into spending thousands of unnecessary dollars on a brand new unit. I'm glad I followed my intuition and got a second opinion. read more

I gave technician detail information on what was going on and what had happened. he left all that off the report and said I falsely was running the furnace without filter. I prove to him that was not the case he left it out of the report and blamed it all on me and then tried to charge me double what a new unit would cost me. Stay away from this company! read more

Basically what everyone else is saying. I have a home warranty, and they sent this outfit out supposedly to fix it. They made no attempt to fix anything. They saw that my coil has a manufacturer's defect and it was low on coolant and recommended replacement of the entire system (11,000). I called Rhymer's who came out and advised me that it is possibly a slow leak so they would clean the system and charge it (500) . I will probably have to add some more coolant each year but it's working great. Would be nice if they were in the business of fixing problems rather than just trying to sell whole systems. read more

We had a technician come out this past week to repair our non-working A/C, due to a power surge during a storm. The technician was very nice, so I will not mention his name. He looked at our unit, changed a fuse, then told me it could not be repaired and suggested replacing. I received an estimate promptly, for replacing both our furnace and A/C. This was the second time a technician from this company has suggested replacement at the time of a service call. I called a different company just to get a second estimate on replacement, and they said they like to make a service call first. The second company came out the next day and had my A/C up and running in less than an hour, for less than $400. I really felt taken advantage of by NPHC and I do not appreciate that! When the time comes to replace, I will certainly not be using them, no matter how "nice" they are! read more

I wish I could leave ZERO stars. This company is predatory and does not act in good faith or conscience. My elderly parents only came in contact with them because they were assigned the work ticket by their home warranty (AHS). Almost instantly upon arrival they began to drum up fictious charges. My parents had a brand new A/C unit installed 2 years ago 06/2022 by Budget Heating and Cooling. According to the tech from No Problem he did a poor job installing the lines and it resulted in irreconcilable repair in their furnace. We later found out this was a lie. He attempted to charge my parents $9000 for the repairs, and when they said they couldn't afford it, he "graciosly reduced" the figure to a mere $6,900.00. Needless to say I intervened and stopped their unreasonable attempts. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with an entity that will attempt to take advantage of the elderly. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY - Tried to sell me an $8800 system that I didn't need. My AC was blowing but not cooling. My HSA company connected me with No Problem Heating and Cooling. First Casey showed up and told me my system was fine, no leaks or issues, just needed a good cleaning. Paid him $144 to clean they system because my HSA doesn't cover cleaning. My house continued to get hotter. Called back the next morning and they sent Cory. He said my coil was bad and due to a manufacturer defect HSA would not cover the repair. He said I needed a whole new system that would cost $8800. I asked about only getting the AC repaired vs a whole new system. He spoke to Ryan (manager) and then told me that they would only replace the whole system because of the age of it - concern about having old and new parts working together would only create more problems later....plus they could save me $1000 if I did them both at the same time...plus their prices were going to increase by 30% this summer. So I called another company for a price comparison. After that company did their diagnostic testing, they advised that my unit was supposed to have 5lbs of freon but only had 2. I asked if I had a leak because the other two didn't find a leak. He said probably a very small leak, that is why it was undetectable. He refilled the unit and charged me $300 for the service call and 3lbs of freon. Told me to expect another 2-5 years from my unit. Wasted $75 on the HSA deductible and another $144 for a cleaning that I didn't need. Counting my blessings, it could have been $8800. Shame on No Problem Heating and Cooling. read more

This company is a joke! American Home Shield sent them out to look at my AC that went out. Josh the tech told me he could fix it but it's be a bandaid and it really needed replaced. (Fan on the outside unit stopped working). Josh mentioned the drain hose was a combination of clear and garden hose and that was it other than needing to replace my 25 yr old system. Unfortunately Josh falsified the report saying I was missing an AC filter tray which didn't exist for my unit and the filter went inside the unit. Also the report said due to the garden hose (which is the same diameter of the clear drain hose on my condenser) that it restricted and flooded my furnace. Which is a lie as there is no evidence of water damage in the furnace. Which by the way has zero to do w the outside unit fan not working.. I called No Problem hearing and cooling to further discuss this but no call back. As noted Josh falsifying the report to the home warranty company saying my unit missing parts and had water damage got my home warranty rejected. Having another company out for a second opinion and spoke w other reputable heating and cooling company that looked at this and said that report was false as well. Never do business w this company and honestly I they should be put out of business if all they do is lie and falsely reports to get home warranties rejected. read more

My experience with this company was infuriating. We could never get through to a person. When we did they were incredibly rude. I had an awful experience with this place through the whole process, i.e. scheduling, waiting for the technician who no showed, then after the tech visited, being told two separate things regarding billing, and finally trying to contact the billing department who never returned my calls nor my emails. My service call was a warranty call through American Home Shield. I was contacted by No Problem within 30 minutes of my request via AHS and had a tech out within 24 hours. Replaced my condenser fan motor and topped off my refrigerant. Our tech Casey was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Work was completed quickly and I felt the pricing was very fair for my old R22 refrigerant. Very satisfied, particularly given the fact we were in the middle of an extreme heatwave. read more

This is a crooked, predatory company ran by bad faith and price gouging. My A/C was running but not cooling. I am a young woman living alone and they took advantage of that. Had a technician come out, claim that something about my unit is not up to "code", even though everything passed inspection when I closed on my condo. Initially stated the price to repair to make it "up to code" would be $1500, but that ultimately it would need to be replaced so the tech quoted a new unit to be about $8000. I declined both of those options and just paid him the $100 for the service call. He then comes back and says that he called spoke with his boss and could throw a new start capacitor in for $230 since I was aware it wasn't up to code. I agreed because it's nearly 100 degrees outside. When I spoke to my dad who is much wiser than I am, he said that that is a $50 part. He called and spoke with the service manager, who claimed that it was so expensive because they had to diagnose the problem. Wouldn't that be included in the initial service visit charge? The tech was only there for under an hour. Put your trust in a different company, this one will only try to push a new unit on you when it's not necessary and gouge you for what really needs to be done. Paid $330 for a $50 part and less than an hour of their technicians time and his 5 minutes of labor actually installing the part. read more

No Problem was sent by our warranty company last to fix our a/c unit. We were told we needed a new compressor. No Problem instantly tried to convince us to buy a new unit and that they would get us a a $500 credit from our warranty company. Their pricing was still incredibly high. For the entire new unit. I had a second company come out and told us our compressor (which was only 1 yr old and was installed by No Problem last year)I also called our warranty company and was told that NoProblem cant negotiate a credit for us. I think it was a sales ploy because I negotiated a $1600 buy out from our warranty company and used that to buy higher quality hvac unit for a different hvac company for a much better price than what NoProblem offered. On a good note.... No Problem Heating and Cooling was despatched promptly and was out to my home the next day after my home warranty request was processed. I really appreciated that! On a bad note.... The technician asked a few questions and returned with a diagnosis that he stated wasn't covered by the home warranty company. I stated that the issue was with the thermostat not the furnace. He disagreed and immediately offered me some new furnace packages, I knew something wasn't right so I asked for a second opinion. When the second company was dispatched to my home, he opened my furnace and the filter had been removed and left on the floor and about 4 wires were not connected to the memory board, which all wires were connected prior to the tec arrival. The second technician then replaced the broken thermostat and my furnace started working IMMEDIATELY. I could not believe that a technician would just deliberately make it seem like my furnace was not in working condition to sell a product, when all he had to do was replace the thermostat. LEAVING HANGING WIRES COULD HAVE CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY FAMILY AND HOME. JUST BE CAUTIOUS WHEN DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY . read more

WARNING- Woke Friday to a 63 degree house. Upon looking at the furnace, a device called Intermittant Pilot Control was clicking then after a few minutes died altogether. I contacted NO PROBLEM Heating and Cooling on Kisker Rd expecting the man to find me a new pilot module locally that I saw on EBAY for $82. The service man arrived a few hours later and stated I either need a new $800 control board or a new furnace. Upon of course refusing either he had the nerve to charge a $89 service call. I checked around and Crescent Supply in St. Peters had the exact universal module I needed for $147. !!! The furnace is 34 yrs old and has no other control module or board. I ordered it thru my job's company and picked it up in will call paying cash and it took me only 15 minutes to install!!. How many people in this situation with the weekend and temps in the teens coming would just bite the bullet and pay this thief. Please be careful of any dealings with this LOTS of PROBLEM HVAC company. read more

Horrible service and customer experience! Warranty company called them in to give an estimate to repair/replace the AC unit. The company was quick to come set up appointment to come do the diagnosis, but literally 2 plus weeks of no follow up in regards to what and when they are going to come out and do the job. The representatives tell you a different story every time you call to ask for a status and that the manager will call you back. The manager never called back in the last 2 weeks and I was told that he is too busy to talk. After waiting for over 2 weeks in 95 degree weather and no communication, ended up going with someone else.
