We have used Classic Aire for almost nine years and have had service calls and twice-yearly checks…read moreover the years. A new HVAC system was installed in our home in late March this year and everything was done professionally and neatly with no messes left for us to clean up. The system worked great until the incredibly damp and cool spring when the AC was having real trouble dealing with the humidity in the house. But Faszold--and its mother ship, Classic Aire Care--kept sending out a couple of stellar technicians to check and adjust the system until they got it right. And this was warranty work--we did not pay for anything as they tweaked settings and made the system work in our home. Anthony and Steve are true problem solvers as they continued to address individual parts like the thermostat and fans and they finally got it all worked out so that the system is able to keep our house below 50% humidity. It was a frustrating time but the company has been responsive and supportive. Mike Faszold was also amazing and continually answered my calls and texts during both pre-sale and after install time. This company stands behind its installs and comes through on its promise of good customer service. Check around but believe what they tell you.

Called this morning and they were able to fit me in today for a service call. Their technician…read morediagnosed the problem as being a bad circuit breaker and not a furnace issue at all. I appreciated the honesty! He had to leave to get a new circuit breaker and came right back to replace it. I'm happy with the service - prompt and courteous - but I am not thrilled with the high cost. The service call was $89 and a new circuit breaker should cost only $20-$30. I was charged $331.50 total, which I've been told by neighbors is very, very high for such a simple fix...Oh well. At least my furnace turns on now.

Tyler did a fall furnace checkup. Two weeks later the humidifier fell off the furnace and broke…read more He tried to deny that he hadn't properly refstened it, but after my in-person visit to the company they agreed to install a new humidifier at no cost. For that reason, I had them do a spring checkup, Emma claimed the heat exchanger was cracked, the fly wheel needed cleaning, and the a/c compressor was "over amping." I had a different, highly reputable company check the furnace and a/c, and they found that none of this was true - neither the furnace nor the a/c had any problems. Also, Emma did not provide a written a written description of her service and recommendations, and they have not provided the promised receipt for the payment of the second inspection. They are either incompetent or dishonest, very possibly both.

I have a 2 yr old HVAC system purchased from Swiss Air. Recently my furnace was not heating…read moreproperly and a severe winter storm was days away. Tyler came out and found no issue with furnace. 2 days later Bill came out and after 3 hours found that the thermostat wasn't communicating fully with furnace. Still no repairs made. Bill returned a day later and moved thermostat to lower level next to furnace in so it worked thru winter storm and gave me a bid of $400 to move thermostat back to original location in family room. After reviewing the path of the wires through the garage, up into a closet, and finally in through the wall, I decided their were too many possible points of failure and decided to leave thermostat in lower level but needed it moved over a foot so as not to impede doors covering HVAC area. Bill said the cost will be the same per company regs and wouldn't re-bid the job even though it was significantly less time and labor than the previous bid. He also needed to reconnect the A/C so I guess I'll find out this summer if that was done properly. I cancelled on the spot and will hire another HVAC company in the future to move the thermostat 12 inches to the left so I can close the closet door and test the A/C. I'm extremely unhappy.
