I'm not sure what everyone is talking about, I just went there and Lexi and Maya were so incredibly helpful, kind, patient as I tried on literally every jean in the store. Their jeans are more trendy, but have a great stretch to them so still friendly if you're not in your 20s anymore. Great Store if you're looking for current pieces. They're definitely more trendy than their neighbor J.Crew factory. J.Crew factory is great for staples and classics, but I came here for a trendy outfit for a night out with the girls. read more

This store rotates merchandise, so it's always interesting to check out the arrivals. The staff is consistently inconsistent. 50% of the time I get a nice welcome and acknowledgement. The other 50% of visits...not even a "hello" when I walk in and am the only person in the tiny store. It's so strange for them to act as if I'm invisible. It's so easy to be nice even when having to face it. I won't make special trips anymore...just a swing by when I'm in the shopping center for dinner. This review is based on customer support only. This is the ONLY location that repeatedly has zero customer service. Although the location is the closest to me, I've tried over and over hoping it would get better. I literally just walked in, looked thru the entire store. I took my time. Not once did anyone greet me, look at me or anything. One very tall blonde was steaming clothes. The other was on her phone texting (shorter girl wearing a black shirt). I always shop in the Costa Mesa store or even the Newport location. I thought since I was checking out the new J Crew outlet store I'd stop in. I just don't get why no matter what, the girls working there don't even bother acknowledging there's a customer I. The store. Someone could have easily walked out with a ton of items they are just that much not paying attention. For reference it's October 13 at 3:30pm. No matter who is working at this location, it happens each time. I keep trying to give this location a try. But I'm done. Will only shop in Costa Mesa & Newport. Management needs to address the employees at this location. If I was a personal shopper, the report I could give would be not favorable for this location. read more

I'm writing this for my wife because she's too peeved to write one without going off. Customer service here sucks. I guess if your not the right color they don't treat you the same. My wife said she was about to buy 2 outfits, was in there 15-20 minutes and was the only one shopping, the 2 workers never said one thing to her. In walks a customer of the right color and they come forward to greet her and ask how they can help all the while my wife is standing there like wtf. I am a big fan of NRFB. If I have a special event or am looking for new jewlery, I will usually check here before going across the street to Nordstrom Rack. It has the boutique feel whereas Nordstrom Rack can be a clothes barn sometimes. The scarves and hats are great. There is a small sale section in the back on the left. The service here is not great but because of their location in Bella Terra they are always busy so it is not the same as going into an empty place like Elison Rd in Seal Beach which is usually empty and then being totally ignored- I see the girls here are usually busy. I have had a zipper malfunction and was able to return the next day without issue. Overall, I am a fan. Great for casual airport outfits too! read more

So as much as I want to love NRFB I have to say I have never had a good customer service experience at this location. I live near by and have gone in about 4 times in the last two months looking for holiday clothes with every intention to spend $$$. Each time I have not been greeted or approached. Each time i have been the only customer there so (from my experience working in retail) i found it odd to not be offered help esp with two employees on the floor. Today when i went in again no customer service. Not one person said hello or can I help you. But when an older women came in (very different looking from myself) she was greeted and helped which instantly showed me they had zero interest in helping me or assumed I couldn't afford anything. Today was the final straw. I wont be returning. Please treat all customers equally. Thanks. read more

Need new associates please! I don't leave many negative reviews but this one I can't let go. I've never felt so snubbed in a store in my entire life, and I've been in plenty around the world. This store is in my hometown and I've been here a number of times (and can't say any experience has been exemplary). Started out with a product return/store credit for a shirt that CLEARLY had the tags from said store still on it, unaltered. The two associates stood behind the counter, without a smile, emotion or an apology said, "if you don't have a receipt we can't take it back". It was a gift for Christmas for the person I was with who wasn't given a receipt. I saw the exact top still in the store and asked if she could just exchange for a different size, again very smugly, they repeated their initial reply. I didn't want to cause a scene over a cheap $20 top, I apologized to the person I was with and said let's just find you something else. She purchased another top and upon leaving, not a thank you for coming, have a nice day, nothing. Then we get home...they DIDN'T PUT HER RECEIPT IN HER BAG!! These people judge you the moment you step foot into the store and if your not (blonde, thin, and white) they assume you have no money. Which is fine I'd rather shop literally anywhere else! The key to a successful business is great customer service. Something that this place does NOT have. Clothing retail stores that depend on clientele to make purchases should know that the smartest way to be successful is to treat ALL CUSTOMERS the same , with the same respect, friendliness, and dignity... to make someone want to come by because they felt like their money WASTED was at least appreciated at some point.... no matter what people look like. Overpriced for cheap material. Downtown LA garment district clothes marked up to boutique prices. No fitting rooms open but anyone can walk around touch and carry any of the clothes which is the same amount of contact as actually trying on. They don't take cash either but only have a small sign at the register so don't waste your time looking around if you're paying in cash. read more

If you want people to shop with you but require masks even though there is no current mandate for vaccinated individuals, then you should probably make sure you have them available to your customers in case they happen not to have one. I have been shopping at this boutique for more than two years now. Their prices have gone up a little to much, clothing material sometimes is not of great quality and needs a lot of gentle handling. One of the positives is that every week, I believe Wednesday's, new clothing is received and styles are always very trendy. Love stitch, has recently been added to their collection, which I Love. As we walked in with my teenage girls with some other people, we noticed some ladies talking at the counter area just like they did not see people coming because they were busy chatting with each other. As we browsed the store we got some clothes to try on. I did not ask anybody because those 2 girls wasn't there anymore( the fitting room is adjacent to the counter area) so my younger daughter and i went to the dressing room together as it's big enough for us then while changing we heard the lady " only one person per fitting room please"! Oh well they were not around when we need them. We put our dress on and left the store and just like we did not exist. Costumer service is so bad, not a good store to go. This is really really sad because I WAS a fan of NRFB for a LONG time. I usually shop at the one in Costa Mesa because it's right next to my work, but I had dinner the other night at Cheescake Factory and wanted to do a little drop by and see if they had anything cute in store. First of all, I walked in about 3 minutes to 9PM which was closing, and was greeted with, "were closing" in a pretty nasty tone. Second of all, I really wanted to buy this jacket that I saw in a face out fixture (I work in retail) and was about to say, " well I just want to purchase that jacket" but decided not to because of the nastiness of the sales staff. Secondly, I decided to give it another shot and came back in the morning. Well, it says on their website and here on yelp that they are open at 10AM. So I arrive there at 10:10AM and the store is NOT open. There are two girls sitting next to door and I asked them if they work there. The same girl on the sales staff that gave me the nasty reply last night, again replied with a nasty attitude, "Oh yeah, were open at 10AM, but we lost our key so we are waiting for someone to open the door." and I looked at her like, THAT'S IT? No apology whatsoever? WOW. I work in retail myself, and I actually manage a retail boutique and quite frankly, I have let go of staff because they didn't open the store on time. I believe that when in retail, it is ALL about customer service, were not in it for the money, we are here to HELP your customer. I was VERY VERY disappointed, and if this was my sales staff, they would not be working in my company anymore. I'm not too familiar with the area, so I certainly wasn't expecting to stumble across this little boutique in the middle of a big strip mall with lots of big chain businesses. I was really excited when I stepped inside not only because of the cute, colorful clothing on the racks but also the presence of lots of different Voluspa candles, which are some of my faves. I thought it was such a cute touch that they matched the different scents with clothes and accessories in coordinating colors. The visual person for this business is very talented! The clothing is an interesting mix because they have really affordable items mixed in with higher end stuff. Their target is very much a hip, fashionable girl hanging out by the beach. Loved a lot of stuff here, and would definitely have spent more if I had more time to try stuff on! I was in a bit of a rush so I just left with a simple tank top, but I do love it :) While the variety in range is cool, it's also a bit confusing as I would see a dress for like $30 and then pick something else up and be surprised by the much higher price tag. I also found the accessories a bit low quality - I didn't feel comfortable buying any of the gold toned stuff because I was sure it would probably get tarnished like Forever 21 jewelry always does :( As for the service, I saw some grumblings in other reviews, and I have to say at first I felt the same - not really greeted, and no one asked me for help. But when I checked out I spoke to a really sweet girl so I'd say it's about 3 stars when it comes to customer service. And after reading other reviews I think each and every NRFB stores get the same reviews that their staff in all stores are HORRIBLE! I like the NRFB stores, because the buying is comparable to a mixture of foreign exchange and forever 21, but it seems that every store I go to there is some sort of problem. At this store, THEY DON'T STEAM ANYTHING. Almost every item was wrinkled and looked like it was straight out of the package it came from, which is a really big peeve of mine (I work in retail). It's poorly merchandised and crowded, making it hard to find things and the staff are the snottiest bunch of people and are extremely snarky so there's really no help there. Like they didn't even acknowledge me until I was at the register about to check out and even then I had to say excuse me to get attention. It's almost as if they like don't want your business! Seriously, fire your whole staff they are really hindering your business! But anyways, now that I'm done with the rant, the plus side of this store is that their clothes are really cute and reasonably priced. I'm still on the fence of whether I'll come back or not but knowing myself I probably will if I see something cute on the mannequin - even if I want to slap the staff.... read more

First time I stepped foot in here, I became a fan! I'm a fan of boutique stores because I like that they carry a limited supply of harder to find labels. This way, there is less of a chance of another girl wearing your dress. The store is aesthetically pleasing, and actually, it's exactly what I pictured my boutique to look like (if I had one, haha). They carry a lot of Luxe and Audrey 3+1, which I love, and they also throw in some accessories and candles in the mix. They carry Voluspa candles! I always go to Anthro to get them, but it's good to know that there is another place nearby. Their style is soft, girly, romantic, feminine-- lots of flowy tops, dresses, skirts, ruffles, and florals. They also mix in some trendier pieces like boyfriend blazers, harem pants, rompers, and cropped tops. A little hard to find smaller sizes, but that's to be expected of boutiques. I will be stopping by more often to see what they've got available. read more

I remember I came here a few months ago and these white ladies were busy gossiping about some girl while I was in the dressing room, trying on some clothes for Valentine's Day. Just went their last night for last minute shopping for the holiday season. No one ever even welcomed me. I purchased a jacket and a dress. The "boutique" has Forever 21 type of garments at double the price. RIP OFF!!! After my last minute shopping I went around to the other boutique in the Bella Terra shopping center and saw the same jacket for more than 10% less the price I purchased the jacket for. I went back to No Rest For Bridget 2 minutes later and they told me they can only offer me a store credit. The person in charge just sat there and stated there was nothing she could do. POOR SERVICE. I would not shop there ever again, nor would I recommend poor service to anyone. read more

Love the clothing here and it is the cutest place. If I were rating just off of that, it would be a 4/5 (since often some of the items are pricier than they should be and their sales section is a little messy compared to the rest). But I've been in this store a couple times and never walk out feeling good. There is this air I get from the employees here. Of course not everyone is the same, I'm sure they aren't all robots but they walk around looking at most people like robbers or as if they shouldn't be in the store. I saw a couple employees look my mother up and down just because she was wearing sweats and a vest (as she usually does, she never likes to shop, she was only there helping me pick out something). Checking out was an awkward experience. They were quiet and just had this bad feeling, like they hated their job, what I bought, or me. Generally, I would return because of the clothing and the chance to try it on before purchasing, but never would I return to support the girls there or see them again. I'm a new mom, i lost a lot of weight after having my baby and my clothes are baggy so i went to Bella terra in the hunt of sales after the Christmas season. Well, i walked in with my 4 month old in a stroller and a cup of coffee. All the blonde chic says to me is "sorry your mask needs to be up (i was drinking coffee) and we really dont even allow drinks in here" and then walked away. Her tone was very rude, and she didnt offer me any help with the store selection. Again, i'm a young mom with a new body and i could have used some help. Then the asian man that works there starts following me. Says nothing, just stands super close and stares at me and what i'm doing. I get it, you're a store for twigs with money but i saw a good sale and wanted to shop. Neither ever offered help, just rude stares and the occasional quiet gossip to each other. Not happy at all, definitely wont be telling others in my circle to go here. I wouldn't have cared if she was nice about it, or offered help first, but it was one of the most rude experiences i've ever had. read more

A GREAT little find. This store I believe has been around for a few years, but is sure to become popular once word gets around..especially with all the super closings going on lately. Sad really. About 1/4 of the stores are closing in Bella Terra. They have some great clothing but some of the items seem to have that super huge look...I'm an average size, and I was swimming in some of the sweaters. I LOVE this place! I'm completely addicted to this store. After getting paid, I always visit the HB location and never leaving without purchasing at least two items. Pros: It's affordable and cute. The style is pretty classic and not too trendy like Forever 21, where it will go out of style in a few months. I love their dresses! NRFB is absolutely my favorite store if I'm looking to buy something quick and casual-chic. Everything is extremely affordable and I love the way they color coordinate everything just so I can find exactly what I'm looking for. With that being said, the service is disgraceful. I work in customer service and it doesn't matter if I'm having a bad day or if I've got some intense personal problem, if I have a customer wandering around I'm gonna approach them and make sure they're taken cared of before they have to ask. Whenever I walk in, I never get greeted and the girls are almost always standing at the cash register gossiping about someone else and unless I ask for help, I don't ever get acknowledged. Dig'n it: 1) Great chicks bonding time for shopping w/my best gfs. Clean, modern, spacious. 2) Selection & prices rather decent. Most major credit cards accepted & fair standard store policy too. 3) Nearby other cool venues (most of which I've already visited w/great service also): movie theatre, Barnes & Noble, California Pizza Kitchen, Cheesecake Factory, Kabuki Restaurant, Kohl's, Johnny Rockets, See's Candies, Staples, etc. Not dig'n it: 1) Some styles are too generic so expect to run into someone else from the same town to have the same item. 2) Though not my first stop to see fresh items since my size (small/medium) keeps running out. 3) Parking, though free & unlimited, is a challenge on most weeknights & weekends. read more
