It's about time I update my review for No Rush Cafe. They are literally the only place in the area I can comfortably get some work done while enjoying a 'no rushed' breakfast or lunch. Sure there are some great deli's, diners and cafe spots but at No Rush Cafe, you never feel like your present is detracting from business. There's been times where I get me a sandwich and a coffee, crack open my laptop to do some emails and video editing, and all of a sudden when I look at my watch, 2 hours has passed. Their booths are incredibly comfortable and even have inspired me to create some breakfast nook booth seating at home. read more

This place is good, not great, when it comes to the drinks. I don't like overly sweet drinks and I like the taste of good roasted espresso. That said, I requested 1/2 sugar in my decaf iced brown sugar shaken espresso. I am avoiding caffeine. It was still too sweet for my taste. We also got a regular coffee which was okay. The iced lavender matcha latte was probably the best. Still a little too sweet. Last was an iced matcha latte; overpowered by sugar. If you want to taste your matcha or coffee, definitely request less sugar, much less. I didn't eat the pastries but my family said the chocolate croissant was flaky with good quality chocolate. We had it warmed up; definitely recommend that. The service was very friendly and helpful. Inside it's dark with cool paintings on the walls. They have several sitting areas with all types of couches and chairs. Outside it smelled like weed; inside it did not. Well, there you go! read more

Thank goodness I missed the opportunity to stop at the deli and came here instead. What a cozy hidden cafe! The name couldn't have been more perfect. The only complaint is customers in this parking lot are not courteous and do not park properly (potentially taking up a little more of the spot next to it) so you have to be careful of your parking. There were comfy chairs or sofa with tables for you to enjoy your items. After checking the items in the board, for the online menu, scan the QR code. We decided on - Butterbeer latte - not what I anticipated but it's good. - Blue curacao refresher - it was on a sweet side, more like a soda. - Honey lavender latte - it was good, though I had stronger lavender flavor. - London fog latte - this is on point. - oreo and chocolate chip banana bread was gooey after it's heated. This is a cozy coffee shop located in Freeport. I love that they have specials that change with the seasons so there is always something new to try. I went with the honey bee latte which comes with espresso, vanilla, honey & cinnamon powder. Such a great combination of flavors! There is a bunch of seating from comfortable couches next to the fire place to tables to get computer work done. They also have a section of games available for anyone to use. Second visit to No Rush Cafe, and it was even better than the last. No congestion in the parking lot, ample seating inside, and welcoming staff, ready and willing to take orders. I see why people come and stay for a while; it's quite peaceful. They offer a variety of drink options and assorted desserts. I ordered the Cinnamon Chip Scone and a Passion Palmer as a beverage, and both were great! I finally got to experience the calmness of this place and it was wonderful. Wow! I was in the area and had about 45 minutes to kill before a 9am work meeting. This is where I found myself. After a quick look at the menu I decided on a small gingerbread latte. It was very good and I was able to taste the gingerbread. It didn't taste artificial at all, and it wasn't too sweet. For food, I got sausage egg and cheese on a croissant. It was absolutely delicious! The croissant was toasted to perfection and everything else was a wonderful marriage of flavors. Service was great. Laura was the cashier and she was really sweet. The gentleman with the cowboy hat behind the counter (I didn't get his name) was very friendly also. The ambiance inside is cozy, welcoming and relaxing. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again. 5+ stars! read more

Nobody who legitimately likes coffee would ever say this place has good coffee. Their business model must be gimmicks and instagram posts and it's working so more power them I guess. Unfortunately the latte I had from here was the worst coffee I ever had in my life. Months later I'm still thinking about how bad it was. My nespresso makes coffee that's 10x better. They should be embarrassed serving that swill. Never again. read more

When I saw the no rush Café fall menu on insta I knew I had to stop in to try a new drink! So I made my way down there Sunday afternoon.Upon entering it is very cozy vibe lots of cute fall decor, and it seemed like all the customers were having a great time sitting and enjoying their drinks. The employee who helped me was very nice and patient with me as I was indecisive choosing a baked good since all of them looked delicious! I ended up going with the cinnamon bun iced latte for my drink and for my baked goods ,I got a cinnamon donut holes(I don't remember the exact name) and an apple turnover. I didn't have to wait long at all. Everything was really delicious and I would highly recommend visiting this café even if you're not in the area, please make your way down you won't regret it!! read more

My son and I have come here twice. No Rush Cafe is now my home independent coffee shop because it's the closest independent coffee shop to where I live. My son likes the horizon organic chocolate milk and recently Starbucks has either not had it or ran low. My son was very happy to find that they have the chocolate milk he likes here. I've had two lattes so far the honey bee latte ad the cinnamon bun latte. Both were so good. I also tried some pastries, I bought my son and my nieces and nephew chocolate chip cookies. They didn't taste exactly like a traditional chocolate chip cookie but they were good. I got a croissant for my baby niece and she loved it. This a great coffee shop, worth the visit. read more

This little cafe has a quaint, cozy atmosphere that is clean and home like. The Coffee, tea and other beverage options are a plenty. We enjoyed a hot caramel latte and a ice toasted cinnamon latte and they were delicious. The food options are limited but we enjoyed the chicken waffle sliders and the sausage egg and cheese on brioche. The food was good. Waffle could have used a crisp instead of being soft but the flavor was still delicious. The staff was polite, helpful and made the over all experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend. read more

Stopped in this morning to try the coffee. My regular cappuccino was EXCELLENT. If you are looking for a solid espresso shop, I'd recommend it. It's all about the coffee after all. They have pastries and some basic hot food (breakfast/ lunch type stuff) which all looked very good but I only came for the coffee. Love the vibe! Very cozy, perfect place to Sit down and socialize, read or work. The seating is very comfortable. I noticed they have some games on the bookshelves such as jenga and dominos. The decor is beautiful, warm and makes the place very welcoming. The service was great, they are super friendly. We got an americano, a macchiato and a white chocolate, all were good. I do however wish they added sugar to the drinks instead of having you mix it in yourself. I was ordering for someone else and I don't like having to open someone else's drink and adding in sugar after the drinks are prepared. They should consider adding in sugar per requests. However, genuinely thrilled to have a great small business within a couple of minutes from everything to come and grab a quick bite or an awesome beverage. The team is always so nice and they have been great to talk to anytime we stop in. The matcha is my go to drink, but my significant other is in love with their honey lavender latte, which I will say is really really good! Thought I'd give this place a second shot after I couldn't get soy milk in a chai , I went to try there coffee which wasn't bad but my camel macchiato was just foam ! At least at Starbucks for 6 bucks I get milk too, maybe some better coffee is to milk training is needed. And for those who say a macchiato is espresso and a little foam we're dealing with an American version here. I worked at a French café for five years so I know the difference.
