I lOve their hours of business :) 7:30am-10pm (lock up at 9:30pm) I bought their 1 month unlimited membership for the Medium Pressure bed. I need to get a nice tan by next month :) The pretty receiptionist said Low Pressure takes time, High Pressure will give you an instant color. So, I decided to get the Medium Pressure to gradually build a tan :) The membership was $65 and 2 months is $100. They always have specials so it's good to call or walk in. No Sand Tan is a nice and clean little place. They probably have about 5 or so beds. I love that the beds have built in radio with a cd player. I don't need to use it bc they play the radio pretty loud :) They also have a great line up of indoor tanning lotion :) I didn't know which one to choose from, the receiptionist recommended "Filthy Rich" it was $45 and I got a 10% off by checking in on Yelp :) read more

A few months ago, I came in to No Sand Tan to try out their organic mystic spray. I was leaving out of the country to paradise and wanted sun kissed skin before arriving. I've never been spray tanned so I didn't know what to expect. I was brought to the back, and instructed to drop down to my birthday suit. Ha! I wasn't expecting that but the associate made me feel comfortable during the process. I returned home, only to get spray on tan on everything. I left the solution in for 1.5 hour as directed, no scrubbing, no hot water, and waited for the full results the next day. I'm very light skinned, and tanning under the sun doesn't work for me. I burn not tan. Tan lines. What's that? I was very excited until, I saw the final results... I came out looking like an orange mini from the wizard of Oz. Tip: if you're going to a beachy paradise, you may want to hold off on the spray tan. By the second day, my spray tan had scrubbed off from the beachy sands of Montego Bay. I went snorkeling, got massaged, went swimming, hiking, as well as play beach volleyball til sunset for 3 days. I had the time of my life. My tan fleeted fast. Not complaining. However, the cash I used for my tan, could have been better spent there or used for a different service. As my vacation continued the tan wore off, thankfully. As a result, I looked lighter and lighter in photos as the vacation came to an end. I can't see myself getting spray tanned any time soon. I also have a new respect for Victoria Secrets body bronzer spray. It works miracles and washes off! read more

Love this place and Janelle is awesome. She is helpful, professional, informative, and hilarious. I've had 2 custom spray tans with Janelle and I've also been there a few times for the infared body wrap. The place is clean and comfortable. Custom Spray Tan: I did a lot of exfoliating and moisturizing before I did the second spray tan so I'm not sure if that's why my second spray tan didn't smell as much like tanner as the first. It smells less the second day so I would recommend going the day before whatever event you're preparing for. I've never had a spray tan before this so just a heads up that it does leave light freckle spots on the tops of your hands. Nonetheless, I was complimented by all my friends during the weekend on how naturally tanned I looked. Don't wear anything tight until after you shower it off! Infared Body Wrap: You have your upper legs, upper arms, butt, and mid-section wrapped with these heated silicone-looking wraps. It has different levels for the heat so start lower your first time and work up from there. It will seem ok until the last 15 minutes. Be prepared to sweat. It's nice because they have a TV with Netflix to pass the time. My skin is sensitive and gets these red spots afterwards, but it's a lot less when I wear more layers and it's always gone by the next day. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes! read more

Just visited here for the first time a few days ago! Natalie who was working up front was really nice and helpful. I visited the store because I wanted to whiten my teeth and they had a deal that was 80 dollars for the first time. I wasn't really thrilled with the whitening. I didn't see too much difference at all in my teeth. They were also out of the oil that was supposed to make my gums not hurt so it was burning a bit during the 20 min treatment. After the treatment I didn't see a change in my teeth color but Natalie said she saw a difference so I thought maybe it was just my eyes not seeing the difference. Now that I sit on it and look at my teeth more I realized it really hasn't changed color. It could be because my teeth are not really yellow at all to start with. There was also a Groupon for the Versa sunless tanning so I tried it and I was happy with the results! I'm sure the tanning booths of all kinds are awesome. This is just my honest opinion of both services/experiences. What doesn't work for me may work for you! read more

Update: TO OWNER Perhaps you didn't read my review clearly, I said I would not be back because there are no MONTH TO MONTH Memberships with no minimum requirements. A 6 month membership is not month to month. ---- Came here from Groupon for a versa spray tan. Some girlfriends decided to go to Palm Springs last minute and I didn't want to blind people from my pale ass skin so woke up bright and early before our departure to get a spray tan. I normally do the tanning beds or as I like to call it - fake bake. But I haven't really been keeping up so spray tan it is. There was one worker there and she was in charge of cleaning the beds, greeting the guests, taking the money, explaining, etc. Basically a one woman show. Owners definitely need to staff at least one more worker there. This was a Friday morning and I can't imagine how crazy it would get after work hours or during the weekend. Anyway, the facility itself was ok. Pretty clean. I didn't really get to look into the packages but from what I remember, they do not have month to month plans. I believe the least you can opt for is 3 months. That's a bummer since I only like to get unlimited monthly that is month to month with no minimum. Probably will not be back for that reason. read more

Came for the first time after finding this place on yelp. Thankful for the late hours! They do get pretty busy so I recommend making an appt. This place seems pretty affordable (after buying on groupon) but I'm not sure how much it costs normally. I came in on a thursday night at 7:30pm (called a week earlier to make my appt) and for some reason the girl at the front seemed confused and wasn't able to find me, which is why I deducted one star. However she was still able to squeeze me in so it was fine, but I had to wait about 20 minutes. I got the Versa spray tan, and I was new to tanning so the girl explained everything to me and she was super friendly and thorough. I didn't feel rushed at all. the tanning was super easy quick. In and out in 10 minutes! The tan was a nice golden brown, not orangey at all. The tan was really nice for maybe the first day, but immediately after I showered (for the first time!) It seemed like the color faded significantly to almost half of what it was. I did everything the lady told me, such as not showering for 8 hrs (I actually waited like 20 hrs) ahha and I didn't scrub or exfoliate, i just gently used body washed and the tan still faded. I still would come back for a quick and easy session if I need a tan just for a few days! read more

The only tanning salon I know that has the high pressure matrix bed around here. I love it! You go in and it's like ZAPPPP.. You're a shade darker. Super awesome, especially when you need that emergency last minute bronze. Do beware though, I went tanning in the high pressure matrix bed and then laid out at the beach the same weekend and got roasted :[ Since I am officially immune to tanning, I go for the regular tanning bed now. 3 1/2 - 4 stars I came here because my girlfriend recommended me to them, after I told her how much I loved her tan. The place is real clean and the lady in front was nice and helpful. I got a 3 time package with the matrix, but because I have sensitive skin and real BAD experience to tanning bed before I went it for only about 10 min. At first it was okay, listened to music, thinking not bad so far so good. But going in on about 4 min it was starting to get real hot and I started to feel my lower back and butt burning. It was so bad I had to step out and in several times. I couldn't even stay the whole 10 min. I told the lady and she just kept telling me it's normal and it would go away. After I got home I started getting real red and itchy. I had no choice I already paid for a package so I went back again after one week. Again same problem but the lady kept saying it's normal. Last time same thing and I was so upset and disappointed. I told the girl I was real unhappy. Luckily I did buy an airbrush tan deal awhile ago so she told me I can use that. I wish she knew a little more on how to help me instead of stating the obvious that maybe I'm real sensitive which I had told her from the beginning. I'm sure the matrix is great since it looked amazing on my gf but my skin is just too sensitive so I'm just going to stay away from ALL beds. I went back a few months later and got an appointment with Lily (owner). She was nice and helpful. She airbrushed me and was real precise, which I can appreciate. I loved how it looked. I went in feeling chubby and left feeling like i lost 4 lbs and TONED! and I like how it was cold and not HOT where I feel my butt is on fire. She told me to take a shower after 8 hours. The color comes off but it's normal. It blend better and keeps from creasing and looking uneven. I'm glad with the outcome and still have it. read more

Been here before however my third time will definitely have me going elsewhere. I always have an appointment and this visit needed to push the appointment back by 30 minutes . The girl who helped me said they didn't have that opening but I I pushed it back an 1 1/2 hours they could see me. I'm always super flexible but I was leaving for my wedding out of town and they said i wasn't moved to the 6:30 spot and they had walk-ins. So I asked them if the person just told me that and the 2 girls basically said "yeah". That's definitely not acceptable. I get it if they overbooked you but they rather take in 2 walk-ins first instead of taking the appointment they messed up on. Very rude and unprofessional ladies... Especially after I explained that I was leaving for my wedding that very same night, but they could careless. Place is A-ok. Customer service is hit or miss, with some great employees, and some... that have some issues. I guess there have been a lot of advances in tanning beds since I've been tanning (I'm getting married this weekend and have one week to get tan!). They have one bed, by the door, called the the Matrix, that will give you a tan without burning you (something about low UVB rays). I've been for two sessions in the past four days and it works! I can really see a difference and I'm not burned! Some of the lotions can be very expensive, so watch out on those. The price of some of the tanning beds can be a bit pricey too. The place seems clean enough. Overall a good experience. read more

Amazing service and impeccable amenities! Coming from someone who worked in tanning salons for years, this staff is totally on their game yet still relaxed and easy to talk to about their services and pricing. So thankful for Kenna who put me in the system and got me going with my spray tan. Also side note - It's hard to get to a Versa PRO machine around LA for some reason but I'm so glad they have one here and they really make sure to keep it clean and working great. I love this place! All right so I am not at all and expert in the category Spray Tan since this was my first time so please take it with a grain of salt... I got an airbrush tan a week before going to Vegas since that was the only day before the trip that I had available. Obviously I should have done it closer to the trip... I thought the both in which I was sprayed looked nasty. There was a dirty bucket in the corner, dirty walls (hair and dust stuck in it), broken fan that collapsed on the first try of the girl setting it up.... - But as I said I have never been anywhere else so maybe thats just how these things look, since its a spray both after all. But here is the thing that I think should be fixed regardless of my knowledge about spray tan... Get a f....ing curtain for the both!!! Every time the girl when in and out of it I was standing naked right there in the line of sight for anyone walking down the hallway. Also the tan came out quite patchy with a strip on my leg. No Sand Tan is the cleanest tanning salon I've been to, with the most friendly and attentive staff. Lily (the owner) does a beautiful job of spray tanning, producing by far the most natural-looking results, listening carefully to what the customer wants in terms of depth of color. As for UV tanning, I highly recommend the Matrix L33 bed, designed to prevent burning and create long-lasting color. Even having olive skin tone, I would occasionally burn slightly when using other beds. After using the Matrix only twice, I was left with the most comfortable (no burning), long lasting tan I've had in years. Fantastic on all fronts. read more

She was very kind and I really appreciate the gesture. -------------- Had a nine am appointment for a spray tan for my wedding anniversary trip. No one showed up. I gave up after 35 minutes. You open at 9, took a 9am appointment, don't open past 10am? I understand being a few minutes late, but more than 35? Bummed out because I wanted to be just slightly less the white whale hanging out by the pool. This redhead does not get tan, but apparently you guys want to keep me that way. read more

I have been going to this place for 1 year. I initially went there for a spray tan...not so good experience. I was blotchy.Will not do that again. However, I have been doing the Matrix Tan. It is a 12 minute pressure tan. The hours are flexible and staff are fairly nice. Sometimes they do run out of towels,so bring your own. Matrix bed do breakdown,but they will compensate with something else for free. Reserve your tanning appt so there will be no wait. Overall, I like the place and price is good. Yes, it is small, and has only one high pressure bed- BUT- I am always able to use it when I want. I call the same day, and make an appointment. I highly reccomend making an appointment for the High Pressure Matrix. The business hours are crazy (in a good way)- 7:30am open time!! I love that I am greeted by name when I come in. those little things make it special. They always have deals going on, and the prices are pretty fair. I've been to No Sand Tan twice and did a the mystic spay tan both times. The tan came out pretty well, but you have to learn how to blend it for it to look nice. I'm giving this place a 2 star because they do not have the best help at their front desk. The first time I visited the girl in the front was nice, however the girl at the front desk the second time was a train wreck! She was obviously over flustered and couldn't handle her job. She was super rude and acted really annoyed when I asked her for more booties for the spray tan booth. She slammed the door after bring the booties in the room! She was so rude and unprofessional. I'm a bit disappointed and have to knock down 1 star. I moved to the bay area (Nor Cal) and only frequent SoCal so often. With summer coming along and me getting pastier and whiter the longer I stay in the bay I really wanted to make a trip to No Sand Tan one of the weekends I was in town. One of the reasons I choose No Sand Tan over other tanning salons is because of their awesome hours. They open early and close late. I had gone in 05/13 and got at the place at 3:50pm and they were closed. I was so disappointed. I just finished worked and this was the only availability I had. 10 minutes would have been enough considering the Matrix I do is only 12 minutes for the session, btu I was only planning on 10 minutes since it's been so long. I guess this may not be enough to knock a star down for some of you, but I do expect locations to stay available and open at their respective times. :(((( I'm still white and very sad. My review is for Natalie. I called in the morning to ask a specific question Natalie said "let me get the answer and I will call you back", and she did. I arrived at the Tanning salon before getting confirmation and Natalie accommodated me. Natalie put me in a taming bed and when my time was up she answered my question and completed my transaction. This is was excellent customer service, Natalie handled my situation positively and was happy to do so. I have been going to this salon for many years and Lilly N is the owner and I have always had a great tanning experience and good customer service but today was extra special.
