I had to get some hinges replaced on my metal gate. I contacted James through the Yelp website and he was able to assist me. He asked for some pictures of the gate and gave me a solid quote right away. I'm not sure if the quote was on the cheaper side or the expensive side as this was the first time I went through a welder. Unfortunately, my folks had to leave town for a few weeks. I had Noah's Ark Welding weld additional metal posts / rods in the railings of a 6 unit apt building in SF for insurance purposes (gaps were more than 4 inches). They came out, quoted me a fair price for the work and also for adding a gate closer for the front security gate per my request. They did some additional work without additional charge, took pics, and I was very satisfied as the new rods matched the existing ones perfectly. Someone took a crow bar to the metal plate that protects our front door gate, making it possible to shim the lock. I called James at 9am. They arrived by 11am and fixed it-permanently-in about an hour. Not only were they fast and thorough, they explained exactly how they were going to fix it, and then did exactly that. On short notice, James Sr. and James Jr. took on a project that I thought had little chance of success: repairing an aluminum crank-up (ham) radio tower that had been damaged in a recent wind storm.
