HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I am in the real estate business and I made the mistake of hiring these people to do a professional cleaning of a luxury condo we were listing on the market. I have never experienced unprofessionalism on this level. One of the two workers used the same filthy dirty towel to clean the toilets and bathroom then took that same germ infected filthy towel to later clean the kitchen cabinets, kitchen oven and kitchen countertops. They did an absolutely horrendous job, the floors were not cleaned properly, they skipped several of the windows, the stove and microwave still had grease marks all over, the refrigerator had stains all over the inside and out. I sent pictures to the boss and he texted me back in broken English that I would need to pay for them to finish cleaning what was still dirty. My housemate and I decided to use Noah's Cleaning Service primarily because their price was the lowest we found. For about 850 sq feet of living spaces, we were quoted $75/hr for two cleaners. Or $150 total for a deep clean. Responsiveness was good; we primarily texted with the business owner (Ricky, I think). Initially, we were displeased because our original appointment was 9am. This got moved to 9:45am and ultimately, the cleaners Veronica and David ended up arriving around 10am. It's not the end of the world but timeliness for a business is important. Once they arrived, we told them what areas we wanted them to particularly pay attention to and clean (window trackpads, floors, door frames, etc). Then they got straight to work! The end result? My place is sparkly clean! I can truly walk barefoot in my apartment. Veronica and David did an AWESOME job with the kitchen, removing tough stains and grime from the fridge and oven. The floors are very clean, too. This place provides a great service for the price but be forewarned that timeliness/committing to a time slot doesn't seem to be their strength. This has been mentioned in several reviews on Yelp -- and it happened to me! Also, although we booked 2 hours, they stayed cleaning for 3 hours-- which we paid for. I've seen this mentioned in another review too so FYI. Once they actually get to your place and clean, I think you'll be extremely satisfied with their cleaning service. So who is surprised this morning that I get a message asking if they can change to 1230 today or tomorrow because of an emergency/hospital bla bla bla. Terrible communication and unfortunately outright lying when communication did happen. We were unable to get the cleaning done. An appointment was booked several days ago for a 1 PM cleaning today that was to be 2 hours long, with three cleaners, and extra added services tacked on such as an oven cleaning. We waited until 1:10 PM to check in with the company and at first we were unable to reach anyone, we started to get text messages about 10 minutes later from someone who is either an owner or administrator but said they could not call us because they were in an important meeting. We were told several times that the cleaners were almost there, and at one point they said 8 minutes away. If someone tells me there at exactly 8 minutes away I am thinking that they are looking at a GPS. We had made plans to be somewhere during the cleaning and also had appointments we had to get to directly afterward. I completely understand appointments being late especially when people are out in the field and things can be unpredictable. All I want is good communication. I would've appreciated a call ahead of time to let me know that they were running late but not only did we not get that, we had to reach out and wait a while to hear from anyone. By 1:45 when they still had not shown up and it was more than 20 minutes after we were told that they were 8 minutes away, we sent a text letting them know that we had to cancel because we had to leave the house at that time and had other plans for the afternoon. We never got a response to that text message even though that was the only way we had been able to reach anyone, no other phone numbers or anything had gotten through. At 2:45 PM, our neighbors let us know that someone had been knocking on their door looking for us and when we got home and just about 3 PM, at the time that the cleaning was supposed to have been finished, they came and knocked on our door wanting to do the cleaning. But we let them know that it would now not be possible, and that we had notified the supervisor that we were canceling over an hour ago. There were also only two people in the car, and this was supposed to be a three person cleaning with extra things like I said such as the oven so there was no way this is going to be the deep cleaning in two hours that we had asked for anyway. I don't regularly use a house cleaning service, I'm a nurse and have been so burnt out that I haven't done much deep cleaning during covid and this was just going to be a one time "treat", which will now be delayed and hopefully with a better service. I would have given them another chance if they were honest and communicative but I will definitely never use them again and never recommend them. read more

Let me just say that I am very particular so my 4 may be someone else's 5 star. The cleaning duo arrived early and were pleasant to have. Sweet and approachable through the session. My reason for the four is because I had to go back later and finish. I requested cleaning of my ceiling fans, wiping clean of the baseboards and cobwebs in corners to be cleaned... this would be completed in one room but not throughout. Also I think the price is reasonable. Not sure if it was fatigue or miscommunication but I found myself asking for them to come back into certain rooms to complete my ask. I thought my request was clear but maybe I wasn't. So with that said, I would work with them again because they were able to book my appointment for the next day, arrived on time and were nice to have. He asks to reschedule again to the next day, saying he'll just cancel one of his already scheduled appointments. I told him it's not necessary to do that...just schedule me for another time so as not to disappoint another customer. He leaves me on read and doesn't respond. Based off the reviews I'm seeing, this is pretty commonplace unfortunately. I understand running late, but you owe it to your customers to inform them that you will be. The reviews on Yelp with similar complaints that were responded to by the manager seem to contain an excuse and an apology, yet the company continues to exhibit this behavior again and again. I requested a quote from several cleaning services before confirming with Noah's Cleaning. I needed someone right away, who was willing to work with my budget and who can meet my expectations. Noah's Cleaning did exactly that. RELIABLE Ricky (Crew Leader) and his crew came within the window that was provided. The house is over 1,800 sqft, with a detached garage and an ADU. I showed the specific areas that I wanted cleaned because it was all that I knew I could budget. He provided instructions to his crew and everyone started working. Areas that I was certain weren't going to get cleaned, got cleaned! There was so much trash and debris left from the previous owner. I thought I would save money by cleaning it up myself, but now I don't have to. When I saw what they had done I was completely relieved. SQFT COVERED AND CLEANED The square footage of my lot is a a little over 5,000 sqft. Ricky's crew powered washed the residence (floor and walls) and the place looks fantastic. The bricks show their character and the stucco walls (which were done poorly) don't look dingy anymore. The house looks bright and open. COMPETENT During the power wash, the water got in places inside the residence. This was at no fault to the cleaning crew (the house is a fixer upper), and Ricky was quick to clean the floors so that there was no water damage. And as I mentioned before, they cleaned more than what I expected staying within my timeframe/budget. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. I was so happy with the work that was done that I wished I could have hugged everyone. In fact, I have Noah's cleaners scheduled to come out in two weeks to come clean again! One thing I wanna say first is that the cleaners were totally COVID compliant. Never took their masks off, kept distance, sanitized equipment. Very good on that front!! I was really looking forward to having Ricky and his crew clean my house but the whole day was messed up from the start. - Crew showed up at 9:30am when I had scheduled for an afternoon slot - Crew was supposed to come back at 1, then delayed to 3:30 then showed up randomly at 5:30. - The women that came were really nice, and did an okay job at first glance, but when i looked closer there was still grime on the floor, countertops sticky etc. After spending 2.5 hours to clean the house, I just expected it would be cleaner. When I told Ricky about all this he said "all I had to do was tell the cleaners to do a better job then and there" which is maybe reasonable, but I think after waiting all day and paying $250 the house would be cleaner than it is. They did the oven and the refrigerator. Very thorough. They brought everything they needed to clean. The only bummer was that after arriving late, it took an additional hour beyond the estimate to finish. I paid happily because they place was very dirty, and they made it look nice. His crew didn't even flinch about getting deep into every corner to clean. 4. Covid: All workers wore masks/gloves despite it being 85 degrees, with no AC in South LA. Even though, two cleaners barely spoke English, did not have covers for shoes inside our home (we don't walk in shoes inside) and had face mask covering chin. But they did a good cleaning job. We talked over what was needed & the service he will be able to provide and we booked for Friday Aug 14th, 9am. Friday August 14th comes around & I text him at 7am because I haven't heard from him and wanted to confirm if he still planned on coming. He then responds and tries to switch the time & says " because YOU didn't confirm anything". So I, the customer has to follow up with who I'M hiring to confirm a service that I am paying HIM for? Okay, miscommunication; 1st time, no problem. I reschedule with him for Sunday, August 16th at 8am. HE told ME that he will confirm with me in a hour . He did not. But prior to that he responded to my time change in agreement. August 16 comes around & prior to my late night I am waking up 15 mins to make sure I don't miss a call or text and never received anything . Maybe he's running late ? Still nothing. Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with this company. Also, read the other low-star reviews. I didn't consider them when I booked and I wish I had. Called around for prices for house cleaning and Ricky quoted me at $150 for 2 hours of deep cleaning. He was friendly and said it would be a two person team. I inquired about what the difference was between a regular cleaning and deep, and he said it was in the details, like baseboards, windows, spot wall cleaning, oven, etc. (photos of texts attached) The original appt was scheduled at noon and Ricky texted the night before to see if they could come at 9am instead, which struck me as unprofessional but I agreed. They showed up at 9:30. While they were here, I asked about payment but because the woman who I asked didn't speak much English, she put Ricky on the phone. He asked if everything was going okay, and I said yes because they were in the middle of cleaning and all seemed well. The women who came to clean were friendly, but shortly thereafter, my roommate told me they'd left, which was one hour after they arrived. Apparently they asked my roommate if everything was okay, and he (not knowing it was for 2 hours of cleaning), said okay and they left. I was getting ready for work and came out to inspect when they were done and noticed that not even basic cleaning services were performed. Even the countertops in the kitchen weren't wiped down, there was dirt on the baseboards that he said they'd clean, they didn't go anywhere near the windows, the oven was dirty, and the hallway rug still had cat fur on it. I sent Ricky several photos and told him I was unhappy with the job they did. He said I'd said everything was okay on the phone. And I had, because I assumed they still had another hour of cleaning to do at that point. I texted him and told him we would pay half of what was quoted because half of the job was done. He said he wanted to come back the next day and I told him not to, but he showed up anyway, calling me on my phone while I was at work. Finally, wanting to get him out of my hair and at the prompting of my roommates, I let him come back to finish the job so we could be rid of him once and for all. This time he was early and actually argued with me about whether or not a window was dirty when I wiped it with my finger and showed him that it needed to be cleaned. I have no idea how he has any positive reviews. During no point did he apologize. It was clear that he just cared about the money and has no concept of customer service and either doesn't know how or doesn't care about cleaning properly. My kitchen sink was backed up with black gunk so I needed to find a cleaning service quick! Ricky of Noah's cleaning service responded quickly and said someone could be there by 1pm that day. He sent Maria who was here a little before 1 PM so everything was great so far. So I gave one star for quick response time and another star for prompt arrival. I explained to Maria what needed to be cleaned. The problem was she only cleaned for an hour and then asked for me to check it and there were plenty of things that were still not cleaned as I had instructed her to do. Please see pics. The biggest offense was she put everything back underneath my sink without scrubbing it clean. And so when I asked her to scrub underneath the sink - she looked upset and said she did so already. My husband then wiped a section of it with a paper towel and it was super dirty and so then she called her boss Ricky and began speaking to him in Spanish and it was apparent she was annoyed. Then she handed me the phone and I told him what the issue was and he told me that he would tell her to clean underneath the sink and so that's when she reluctantly did it. Her English wasn't too good so not sure she understood fully what needed to be done. But there were several areas that weren't touched. There was black water in the buckets still with all my cleaning supplies which I didn't discover until after she left! Like who cleans like that! I also asked her if she washed the dishes - she said yes but if you see my pics below there was still black gunk on some of the dishes. That's a pretty big oversight. And it's totally my bad for not being more thorough with the inspection after she finished but to be honest she wasn't even trying to clean anything else after she had finished. I also didn't appreciate that it seemed like she was in a rush and so she did a very basic surface clean. I think these cleaning services don't pad enough time between cleanings so they're always rushing to get to the next job thereby compromising the quality of their work severely. The only thing she cleaned well was the stove which was not requested but I thought that was just part of her service. Had I known it would cut into what I actually needed cleaned - I would've told her not to bother cleaning the stove. I ended up re-cleaning everything after she left. What a joke. I don't know why it's so hard to find a good cleaning service with integrity. Speaking of integrity- I asked Ricky repeatedly for a receipt as I needed to show it to my landlord in order to deduct if from my rent and he assured me he would send me one via text and he never sent me one despite my repeated attempts to get one. He even stopped replying to my texts. Very unprofessional. Definitely don't waste your time and money with this cleaning company. read more
