Heads up, do not book their services until they've resolved the open cases of fraudulent charges. They've charged us 4 times for a total of $34,000. We've used them all of 2024 and this is the first time we are seeing unauthorized charges. I see another review mentioning the same from earlier in October. Several calls, texts and emails later with no reply. Normally they reply within a day or two. Incredibly unfortunate, because we've been satisfied with their cleaning services until now. Please don't contact this company! We used them for almost 4 years on a bi-monthly basis and the previous management was excellent. The cleaners who work for them are great and obviously we were happy with their service. However, they recently changed management and since then they rescheduled a cleaning without my consent and then just stopped coming altogether. No one answers the phone when I try to contact them and no one has responded to my messages. The previous owner was kind enough to send an email when she retired. I have yet to hear anything from the new owners. I was worried when management changed hands and I was right. Too bad. Now I need to find another cleaning service, right before the holidays. I requested a cleaning service and chatted with the representative Kim on their online service of I wanted cleaned. I provided images and got a quote for 2 hours deep clean. Cleaners texted me 15 minutes before arrival time. They came on time. We went over the areas I want cleaned and they started cleaning. I mentioned to them I want the stove, hood, backsplash and oven clean and the bathroom. They were wearing mask but not wearing booties. In addition, the lady wasn't wearing her mask the whole time. Cleaning tools they have consist of pinesol and bleach. Not sure if that's Eco-friendly like they marketed. They also used swiffer and rag to mop the floor. None of their cleaning supplies seems professional or ecofriendly. 2 hours passed by and they were finishing up and they still haven't cleaned the areas I emphasized. When I pointed it out, Erik said that it will take longer. What I don't understand is why they didn't start on that stove when I told them? I didn't ask them to spend 30 minutes cleaning the microwave that is still dirty after cleaning. Bathroom that was clean was the shower glass which is okay. There still streaks. The grout is still dirty. So i'm unsure the before and after pics they have on yelp if they market it as deep cleaning if its just wipe down. Toilet still has grime (you can see the pic) I've mentioned this to the owner before posting but sadly you don't get refunds. I didn't want refund I just don't believe $172 is justified for the cleaning they did. He does want to make it right by sending them back. But I don't want another 2 hours of them just wiping when I need deep cleaning as they advertise. And why are their representative giving wrong quotes? The Owner mentioned that my house needed 5 hours of cleaning. Well yeah if they clean things I didn't ask and started cleaning what I mentioned in the last 15 minutes then yea maybe it will take longer. So most of their reviews are from moving out and maybe that's best for their clients. But if you live in your house that wants cleaning, pick a different company. Lastly, what gross me out is that they were cleaning the bathroom touching the mop, and then started cleaning the bedroom touching the blanket and pillow with the same glove. So yea, I don't want them back. After they left, I have to steam mop my floors because again they weren't wearing booties and some mop areas they did was sticky. Unimpressed. They sent two cleaners who did a good job in the kitchen but almost nothing in the bathroom despite needing extra time to do it. They didn't clean the shower walls, the tub, the sink, the counter or the light fixtures which are pretty dusty and easy to clean. They may have mopped, hard to tell. I wouldn't rehire these people. Update: I see now that hiring them was my mistake in the first place. I was in a hurry and didn't take the time to read the reviews or responses. Whoever is responsible for responding to reviews is childish and emotionally fragile (as another reviewer mentioned). You should spend more time tying to correct the issues the customers bring up and less time being defensive and argumentative. Good, honest customer service = more clients. read more

After writing an honest review about their poor customer service, instead of addressing their client problems management canceled our service indefinitely in retribution. (After we were their client for over 20 scheduled cleanings. That's over $3000.) Our only complaint was Management would never notify us when cleaners were arriving late (sometimes 30min+ late!). Was that too much to ask LOL??? While service is thorough, Management is laughably juvenile, emotionally fragile, and unapologetically irresponsible. You need not look further than their many other negative reviews to know what you are getting into when signing up with Room 413. Genuine advice, stay away. Save yourself the inevitable frustration. Edit: Management replied accusing me of employee abuse and racism which is categorically dishonest and liable to libel lawsuit by California law. I challenge Room 413 to provide evidence of alleged abuse or racism or we can take that to court. read more

I've used them previously and everything went great. This time one of the employees damaged a light fixture in my new house. They did offer to compensate me $60 which wasn't the cost of the light fixture nor did it include me having to hire an electrician to come and replace it with a new one. After speaking to the rep she told me the owner would be calling. In the men's time I realized that they automatically charged my card. Last time they cleaned for me they asked how would I like to pay at the end. So this led to me feeling like they were being sneaky. I never heard from the owner so I called again to tell them that I needed to hear from someone or I was disputing the charge. The woman hung up on me and I've never heard from them again. Beware if they damage something in your home bc they will not come with a reasonable solution. Needless to say I won't be using them again. Update since I can't comment on the comment response. Your company never even spoke to me about replacing the glass dome and maybe of you would have it would have never come to this. I went with this cleaning company based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. I was able to schedule the cleaning 3 days ahead of time on their website and they even accommodated my request for the cleaners to text me when they were 20 minutes away. The cleaners who arrived, Mia and Anna, were professional and friendly. One recommendation I have for the business is for the payment process to be streamlined. I was told I would receive an email confirmation with the total and information about the payment options, but never received an email. Instead I received a phone call several hours later with instructions on how to pay and it was already the end of the day, so I can imagine it was urgent on the company's end. There seemed to be a disconnect in communication, so having the ability to submit payment through the website or receive payment information via email would have been ideal. Also, it would be awesome if there were more options for services aside from the hourly cleaning. Other cleaning companies offer move-in specials for a flat fee according to the square footage/number of rooms. My condo didn't take the full two hours to clean, so it's just something to keep in mind for customers with differing needs. read more

I would give them 10 stars if I could. First, Ann in the office was beyond wonderful. I'd call the number (I had to call them a lot because I had to keep switching things around) and she'd pick up the phone with "Hi Kayli!" Wow. She was incredibly helpful and patient and accommodated my very unstable moving situation with nothing but grace and kindness. The cleaning itself was A+ - this includes both the cleaning crew and the upholstery service. The crew was endlessly pleasant, easy to work with, responsive to my requests, and left the place sparkling. When they left I was able to unpack the new house with the reassurance that my high standard of cleanliness had been met. I love this company and will be spreading the word, starting here. read more

And you might be wondering why this new location became an old location so quickly... Well I learned a huge lesson... Don't rent from an individual. I was renting from a cheapskate landlord and after being in the condo for 7 to 8 months, he had yet to fix the shower. O_O Anyhow, when I had to move out again... Who did I reach out to? I reached out to Room 413! I requested the same people that I had last time and they came and got the job done. That cleaned the old location and made it look great again. They focused on all the small details. They wiped down the base boards and the divets in the doors where dust can collect. They basically checked everywhere and it was great! They had great attention to detail! I plan on using them for monthly cleaning at the new location to just assist with the dust bunnies that my 2 fur babies create in seconds it seems. This is the worst and most expensive cleaning I've ever had done to my house. I paid $200 for two cleaners for 2.5 hours. Here's the breakdown: PROS: -Easy online scheduling -Cleaners arrived on time -Cleaners were pleasant CONS: -They broke a ring holder of mine -Glass shower doors were not cleaned very well. In fact, I believe one was not cleaned on the inside at all (I still saw my squeegee marks) -Kitchen cabinets and backsplash still had grease on them (which I had to clean after they left) -They didn't clean the kitchen countertops at all. My husband ran his hand along them and there was a tremendous amount of dust all over his hand. -Mirrors still had stains. -Bathroom counters still had stains. We asked them to go back and clean the things we noticed before they left. But the fact that there was so much left dirty is totally not worth the price. Their email address, as listed on their website, does not work. We have received several thousand dollars worth of fraudulent charges from Room413 on our credit card. I have tried to call, text & email Room 413 to alert them because, perhaps, a 3rd party has compromised Room 413's files and THEY have made these charges? I would love to let them know. My husband tried to call them as well, but his calls were unreturned. As well, unfortunately, the reason we stopped using them, 7 months ago, was that the cleaning crews were woking far TOO FAST and there were multiple damages made to my home and belongings. I asked the company to ask their crew to PLEASE slow down and that, obviously, I would pay for. any additional time. Also, I requested that there be some consistency with whom they sent out so that I would not have to re-explain any how-to's that I might have. I have personally tried and used other companies so many times over the years to get certain stains off walls, ceilings and tile floors in my old 1940s apartment with no luck. The staff at Room413 have not only removed them with no problem, but have gone above and beyond expectations with other areas I didn't even know could be cleaner. Very friendly and efficient. We booked this service and were very disappointed-- I think we just had a particularly bad or new cleaner from the company that didn't know what he was doing, but then we dealt first with lack of response from owner and then open hostility after my roommate left an honest review. Our cleaner broke a mirror and brought a dog to the service, which we think should have been asked about prior to arrival. Then, I found papers and items from my desk drawers removed and placed on top of the desk. It is very odd, because cleaning services generally should not be going through personal drawers. I felt uncomfortable because I had sensitive documents in them. They also didn't clean anything in the drawers, just took out and moved some of the items. Not sure what was going on there, it may have been incompetence but I think the owner should discuss need to stay out of clients' personal drawers during a cleaning service with this particular employee. Again, I hope it was that they were new or just don't understand the norms, but the whole thing made me uneasy and uncomfortable. Would have appreciated better response from owner-- I'll just warn that if something goes wrong, was really not a pleasant strong of messages from her after what we view was an unfortunate but honest review to give. **In response to owner: not claiming theft or missing items, but evidence that employee was in my drawers made me feel violated and uncomfortable. Really nice and communicative people but sadly they forgot one entire room, 2 closests, vent hood, parts of the fridge and some other obvious things you want done when asking for a "deep deep clean". I did get a refund and apology but I was more interested in getting it done then and there as I've got a lot on my plate as it is. Edit after response from Room413: Desperately looking for cleaning sounds very dramatic. I wanted to get it done that day, reached out around 1pm and Room413 took the job starting 4.30. Assumingely I paid extra for this "express service". The place was indeed dirty, and that's why we agreed on a "deep deep clean" including steamer and all. The fact that there were cobwebs and the carpet in one room might have to be changed doesn't change the fact that they did not touch certain parts at all. I'm not complaining about the parts that were cleaned, I'm just concerned about the parts that were missed. I only got access that day and would have of course preferred to have planned it more in advance but wasn't able to. Come think about the patio, Room413 did cleaned it as agreed but then the guy with the steamer emptied the steamer tank on the patio a couple of times which left quite a lot of dirt there so it was pretty much like when they arrived. read more

This business claims to only do deep cleaning, which initially I thought, I appreciate someone who has enough dedicated staff to provide only detailed services. The office originally gave description of deep cleaning as dusting on all surfaces (on hood over range, above fridge, and even inside cabinets), in addition to cleaning inside fridge and oven and I thought great. Someone who can provide the detailed service I need after a major renovation. Yes the price tag was hefty at $110-168/hr, but if they can achieve what they advertise I'd be willing to pay. The cleaning crew arrived on time and gave a decent effort, the lead lady Mia was very dedicated, however when I mentioned the fridge and oven,, she said there may not be enough time.. Towards the end, I briefly looked through the houses and there were still dust on the floor and floor boards, which Mia cleaned, but once the clock hits that time mark the team is gone. I went over the rest of the house and there were many places there were still dust (hood on top of range, on thermostat, or the outside of cabinets- I've given up the hope of inside cabinets being cleanes). I called the office, and at least the customer service was great. The office immediately agreed to send a "fix it" crew to complete the clean up. The fix it crew came later in the day, only fixed a couple things I pointed out, and then spend time cleaning the floor again, instead of dusting all the places that were missed by the first crew. I really wanted to like this company, as the customer service was responsive, unfortunately the staff is not all detail oriented, and definitely does not live up to the "only deep cleaning" service. If the price tag was not so high and they continue same level of service I would consider repeat service, but I do not think the staff are detailed enough. read more

The place they cleaned was an extremely dirty 'hoarder light' situation and they did such a good job of being careful about what they threw out and working around LOTS of stuff. I scheduled a deep clean after a relative moved out of my 880 sq ft 2-bedroom/1 bath house. Details looked pretty good and I couldn't find anything they missed. I'm happy with the quality of the work. Windows, blinds, inside of all cabinets, wall stains, baseboards, carpet, ceiling fans, shelves in closets, tub, door jambs, everything was cleaned thoroughly. I was hoping the grout between the floor tiles would look new again, but there was at least an improvement. Although it took about an hour longer than I thought it would have (it took 3 nice ladies 4 hours), the results were great. I receive a quote on yelp from Room413, i called them immediately, literally 2 days from when I needed the job to be done. The guy i spoke with was extremely helpful, and patient (allowing me to explain every thing that was needed.) I needed an extreme deep cleaning, due to construction and other stuff. He recommended a 3 person job, best way for I to save money and time. (that was a plus) They showed up yesterday &&& OMG.! I was amazed. Ive had other cleaning services, or cleaning ladies come to my place and they've never done a job as good as this. One of the ladies was on the flor cleaning all of my baseboards, cleaned my windows inside and outside. The guy, i wish I remembered his name, he communicated with me none stop, verifying that I liked what was being done. && what we did was what impressed me the most. I need to update my review to warn people. Yes they did a really good job cleaning but here's the warning. They screw with your stuff and take things. They took all of my sponges that were under a cabinet no reason for them to go in there they took my swiffer which was replaced. They weirdly enough unscrewed my mop and took the top part away with them. They went into my cabinet with my medications allegedly to see if the shelf needed cleaning which was obvious it didn't and messed them all up. They took my dogs flea medication / They went into my closets which I purposely had closed AND finally they broke a frame with a vintage postcard in it. Fine that they broke the frame these things happen I saw it on my table not only didn't they say they broke it but they threw it out with my vintage card or maybe they took it. When I told the owner he said it would be replaced well I was sent a really bad copy that was probably taken from a pic of the internet and it cost 10.99 when I told the owner that it was a fake guess what crickets. Absolutely no response. So if you want your apt clean then use them but be warned they will screw with and take your things. The employee arrived 49 minutes late , missed very obvious spots in the bathroom and on all of the sinks throughout the apartment. Stuffed a bag of laundry in the washer and left it there with no explanation. I was headed out of town and decided to hire help to make the process easier. Unfortunately we needed up re-cleaning the entire apartment. She also made herself WAY too comfortable by cleaning in her bra and sweatpants. The manager and/or owner was very nonchalant and rushed for her to finish and go to the next client when I had informed her she was late. I was easily able to make a decision based on his upfront information regarding pricing and their availability that worked with my time limitation.
