Manny's communication was excellent from the first time I spoke to him. He reached out to me on Yelp and kindly asked that I give him a call for a better estimate. He gave me a run down of the cleaning that was included in his flat rate, how many cleaners total, and the amount of time of the task. After some thinking, I decided to use his services and he scheduled me the next morning. He showed up early and did a walk through on the phone with me asking if I needed anything in particular and what I needed to dispose. He sent me about 40 photos of the completed work and everything was spotless clean. The photos speak for themselves so I won't go into the details. This is a rental unit, a cleanup before showing. Manny and Judy were not only on time but actually early. They made sure the stove was cleaned well, the burners, the inside, everything. The bathrooms were scrubbed very clean. The blinds were dirty and they were able to remove the dirt and make them look very presentable. They did such a great job and Manny took the time to show me some before and after pictures and explain all that was done. REALLY BAD! Robbery style? Manny demanded cash when he arrived at the door, without any cleaning supplies, without a second cleaning person. After I told him that I will pay him cash once the work is done, he drove off immediately without saying a word. He said the rules have changed, and the owner Iris only accept cash up front now. Manolo was very nice and overall, the cleaning was good but I specifically had asked them to take care of the pet hair in the house and they didn't do a great job with that. So overall, if you want just basic cleaning for your house at a reasonable price, they are good for that. I think they were great with the bathroom and the kitchen. My main issue was with the pet hairs and the floor was also not cleaned the best. After walking around barefoot for an hour, my feet is already starting to get dirty as shown in the photo. The two women that were here cleaning had both kept their shoes on so I'm not even sure how clean the ground can be when they're walking around with their shoes. As for the pet hair, when I had called him, I told him I wanted it off everywhere like the couch but they hadn't vacuumed the couch when I came home. It wasn't until I made a comment that he said their vacuum couldn't be used on the couch so he used my Dyson to quickly vacuum it. If I had not called that out, I don't think it would've been done. I would only use them again if I need the bathrooms and kitchen cleaned. read more

We agreed on a price and I was waiting for the day and time they would come. Hours turned to days turned to weeks turned to months. I figured this company was busy so I went with someone else. I had The True Maids team come clean my house for the first time today and I really could not be more pleased. I have been trying to find cleaners for the last year and have tried several companies. Across the board I found that they would show up late, without communicating it to me, and sometimes just didn't show up at all. They would quote one price and then invoice me for another. They would charge me a lot of money and then really basic things, like cleaning the bathroom mirror, would not have been completed. I didn't have any of these issues with The True Maids, in fact it was the opposite. Very disappointed with Manolo. He canceled my service at the last minute and made me lose out on rental income since my tenant could not move in!! Which he is very inconsistent with his return calls. Then he said that he would give me credit since I lost income and now he is going back on his word! very upsetting. Now he said that he no longer will clean for me since I give him all my turns and I want him to keeps his word. Ridiculous. I have given him so much business and put up with him not returning calls ,canceling on me or not confirming my appointments and now he won't keep cleaning for me. Manolo there are many companies. I wasn't going to write a review because I believe the owner means well, he actually came out and explained he's having a difficult time finding cleaners to work for him, and later texted me again to apologize about the misunderstandings. That being said, 2 ladies came out, no English--they wanted me to speak into their phone's Google Translate app. They totally misunderstood my instructions, which were meant to make things easier for them by showing them how easy it was to move some musical instruments around in my home studio. Basically, nothing to worry about, everything is very secure (cleaners usually worry about touching things like this). Instead, they called the owner who said what I really wanted was a "deep cleaning" and he'd have to charge me for more time. I turned on some modern music in Spanish for them and offered to feed them. I also gave them a substantial cash tip at the end. even though I was charged more than quoted--I figured it wasn't their fault. No wonder they refused my offer to feed them: after they left I realized they had helped themselves to some of my food while I stepped outside so they could do their work. They probably figured a single guy wouldn't really know what groceries are in his refrigerator. I had just gone grocery shopping the day before, and I always know exactly what I have so I don't waste food. They did an OK job of cleaning/dusting, but nothing special. I guess I'm back on the search for home cleaners but I don't think I'll be hiring a company--they likely all have the same staffing issues at the moment read more
