I ordered this to go and it was a regular carry out experience. I changed the bagel on the sandwich which made it better. The cheese taste came more from the bagel than the cheddar.

    Rip off lox bagel

On the rare occasion they get your order right, It is still a mediocre at best. For almost $11 you get this much Lox.

I haven't been this disappointed with a food order in a long time. I ordered the Half Dozen Bagels with Schmear via DoorDash and received only 4 bagels--without any schmear. I also ordered two Single Bagels with Schmear, but there was barely any cream cheese, and the bread wasn't even a bagel; it was floury, lacked a hole, and seemed like a different type of bread altogether. For nearly $50, I expected the order to at least resemble what I paid for.

Bought 13 bagels. Includes two spreads. Some gourmet costs more. I only bought a variety of gourmet bagels for work. Chose plain and honey almond spreads. Certainly like the selection of bagels. Prices are reasonable. Wanted to try something different than donuts. Great option. I will return.

I would give 2 stars but overall, it's a 1 star situation. I'd give 1.5 stars because the workers were reasonably nice. I ordered online 4 breakfast sandwiches, 4 hashbrowns and a cinnamon roll. With tax and a 20% tip, the order was $83. I got there and noticed the workers did not add utensils and did not slice bagels in half as requested. I asked them to and they did with no hassle so I added an additional $5 cash tip for their trouble. Then I got to my destination and discovered that my order was incorrectly filled. I ordered double egg on each bagel and got single egg. And I can guarantee we got shorted on meat. There was barely an ounce of brisket on my bagel and hardly any meat on the other 3 sandwiches. According to the website, there's supposed to be 2 ounces of meat on each bagel. This was an embarrassing disappointment to those I was feeding. They were all enthusiastic when I said I was bringing Noah's and then it was uncomfortable silence thereafter. I called and reported being shorted and I was told to go online or come back for a refund of the eggs only. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any way to seek a refund online can't get back there before close so I guess I learned a very expensive lesson. Not coming back. Happy Donuts for breakfast sandwiches it is!

Bacon and Cheddar on a plain bagel

I ordered a Bacon and Cheddar breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel, a heavenly chocolate chip cookie and a small orange juice. The bagel was delicious, the bagel was fresh and perfectly toasted. The egg was a real egg! That's extra plus points with me! The cookie was so decadent and the OJ was cold and fresh. Good job Noah's!

There were slim pickings since it was so late, but I just wanted a plain bagel with shmear and a lemonade!

They were very happy with their arugula salads. I ordered the mac n cheese which was okay. Even though I grew up in El Cerrito, I sometimes feel like my NorCal green card has expired. I've lost touch with my small batch, organic self. (Although I have never liked arugula) This store is adorable and just the kind of independent neighborhood place that should be frequented and appreciated. Unfortunately I also had to use the bathroom and they don't have one for customers. So they recommended walking a block away to the BevMo. So I guess that added some negative feelings.

But I'm so glad I was finally introduced to it. The staff greet you promptly when you enter and you can even watch them work effortlessly together in the open prep-station behind the counter. They have a gorgeous display of deli items, wines, cheeses, cold sides, and even some cute candles & house made croutons. They've got everything you would need for an elevated picnic or even a barbecue with the family. They have an intriguing selection of house made sausages-- the Chicken Tikka Masala sausage caught my eye and I can't wait to try it. They also sell whole smoked quail that are seasoned heavily yet each bite has just the right amount of smokiness, spices, and salt. Their hot food items and sandwiches are perfect for a quick lunch during your break from work or on your way home. There are also a few counter seats if you want to enjoy your meal there. So far I've tried the smoked quail, the Muffaletta sandwich, and their green lentil soup with chicken + veg. The sandwich was filled to the brim and each bite was a flavor bomb. The lentil soup was very comforting & paired well with the smoked quail. I'm looking forward to trying everything they have to offer.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when restaurants reduce the guality or quantity of their meal to cut costs while charging premium prices. I will say I didn't mind paying a few dollars more for their subs in the past. I went there today for the first time in a couple of years, ordered a regular size basic ruben sandwich (no add-ons) and was ok paying nearly $18 dollars for just the sandwich until they handed it to me. what I got was a small 6" sub. When did their subs shrink?? in this economy we are all struggling. I get it, things cost more but Craves' owner is not doing his patrons a service by charging them premiums while cutting back on the meals. If you're ok paying that much for a shrunken sub, more power to you. I l, however, will not be going back there.
