Thumbs up to our guide Paul and all the hard-working team on our adventure. We took a half-day beginner tour, and it was so worth it! Well organized, taking every possible precautions for participants safety, nice to just have a chat as you glide along beautiful river. But first of all very knowledgeable! Took the day-long Upper Klamath rafting trip and it KICKED ASS! Upper Klamath is a class 4+ river, but it was suitable for kids to go along. The rapids are extremely fun and the guides were having a great time themselves! Everyone was laughing and chatting the whole way down the river. Our guides were Justin and Brian and they both were world-class guides, making the trip easy, exciting, and fun the whole time. They provided some breakfast, an amazing lunch, and shaved ice at the end. So no worries about bringing snacks. The only thing that sucked was the long ride back to Ashland at the end of the trip, but that has to be expected when you float all the way into California. read more

My kids were vehemently opposed to going river rafting because they thought it would be scary. By the end of the day, they were telling us, "Thank you for taking us! We had so much fun!" I highly recommend Noah's half-day float on the Rogue for families with small kids. We called only the day before to book, and they found room for us. They offered us the opportunity to kayak instead of riding in the raft if we wanted, and some of our family wanted to. We met the main guide, Drew, at the Noah's info booth in downtown Ashland, took a bumpy school bus ride to the river, availed ourselves of some basic latrines there, and then got our life preservers and listened to safety instructions. The guides are all young and fun, but also very capable and serious about safety. Atya piloted our family's raft and she was so kind and personable, and knowledgeable as well, pointing out wildlife and finding a good spot to pick blackberries (which she climbed right up the bank and got for us!). Riding in the raft on this float is not at all challenging -- you can mostly sit on the edge and let your feet trail in the water while the guide does all the work paddling. Kayaking is a bit more work of course, since besides just paddling, you need to maneuver around a few downed trees. We had Dan, an expert kayaker, to guide us, which was very helpful especially when going through the tiny class 1 rapids. Overall I highly recommend this company! Enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides, good kayaks and rafts, and serious attention to safety. read more

On a hot August day we had a great scenic trip on the Rogue River for about three hours. Beautiful scenery. Great guide (Leon) who ably handled everything. We saw osprey, geese, mergansers, egrets, and herons. We took the easier scenic float from TouVelle park. The rapids were easy on our bodies. Little risk of a drowned phone or camera. Nice break for snacks and bevs along the way. Two of our gang took turns paddling alongside in inflatable kayak. Delightful day. read more

We are a family of five that found Noah's river adventures a great outfitter. It was convenient, and we felt like they knew their stuff. We did fall out of the boat on the last class IV rapid, which was a bit of a surprise to everyone, but their response and comfort level for the two of us stuck on a rock was very good. They were clear on what the rapid may be like and the guide seemed very experienced and knew what to do. Due to that and a slight injury, that's the only reason I did not give them five stars. read more

My friends and I took the full-day trip down the Rogue river, and had a fabulous time. Our guides, Bronze and Jamie, were very knowledgable about the river, the surrounding terrain, wildlife, etc. They were also very competent in providing instruction, maintaining safety and the like, as well as just being very pleasant and personable. The trip itself was largely soothing, with periods of extreme excitement going over rapids. Take a kayak if you're feeling adventurous. We have been coming to Ashland, OR for 5 summers. Ever summer, I said that I wanted to go river rafting, but was too nervous to try it. This year, we took the plunge (no pun intended) and signed up for the intro river rafting 1/2 day trip. It was awesome! My fear turned into excitement once we signed up. My family did the half day Intro to White Water with Noah's on the Rogue River last week. What a blast! Beautiful and exciting. The crew was amazing. Our guide, Dale, made sure the kids were safe and that we all knew just what to do. Plus he was a lot of fun. We stopped on a small beach for snacks provided by the crew that were really good. We were able to get in the river to swim in the slow parts. Good instructions for being safe going through some really challenging rapids. I was a bit nervous about rafting on the Rogue River, as I hadn't done any rafting in 30 years. My friends and I chose the half day scenic float tour and our guide was Nate. I cannot say enough about what a relaxing, fun, interesting time we had. Nate was so great!! He put me at ease, explained everything in advance and was very informative about different sightings and local history along the way. We stopped half way through the ride for snacks and drinks on the beach. The company was extremely friendly and efficient. Nate is the nicest guy, we'll ask for him next time! We just returned from a half day rafting trip with Noah's River Rafting in Ashland, OR. We had a great time, but there were some things that were a cause for concern. Probably because it was July 4th weekend, they had a larger than usual crowd. Our guide had not been on the river yet this year, which lead me to believe that he was called up to handle the overflow. They must have also dusted off an old frame, because the oars kept popping out of the oar locks. The guide was trying to be a good sport about it, but when we were going over a class 4 rapids and both oars popped out, he was pretty freaked out. All was well, no one was hurt, however I think a company who advertises having the best equipment should have turned down the extra customers rather than using equipment that kept failing. Another thing I should mention was that we stopped for a snack along the river and were instructed to walk up a 400 ft path totally overgrown with poison oak and blackberry bushes. Next time I will find another rafting outfit. read more

We rafted the Class IV Upper Klamath a couple of weeks ago and had the best time. I would highly recommend this company to anyone rafting in the area...or going out of the way to raft. I had never been white water rafting before but felt totally safe and prepared heading into the more difficult part of the trip. I absolutely loved the rafting. It was a perfect day and our guide Steve was so nice and knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. Everyone on our raft seemed to have a fabulous time. I can't wait to go back! Very helpful staff when I called and asked them a plethura of questions. They even provided me a list of doggie daycare providers and arranged for a special pick up at the end of town in Ashland. The crew was excited to do what they were doing and that attitiude made a difference! It's important to get with a group of guides that get along and work well together and THAT is what you get with Noahs! The guys were knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, helpful with our two 9 year olds and made this trip fun, relaxing and exciting all at the same time. We did the 1/2 day family rafting on the Rogue and would recommend it to anyone who likes to be outdoors and isn't afraid to get wet! Our guide was Bron and he was awesome!
