Beautiful view from the river we ride on from the jet boat.

First time visit. Boat ride was great...kids had a lot of fun. Staff was great as we did not know this was. 2 1/2 hour stay at the park so they made sure we made our trip to the park by holding a spot on one of the first boats for us. All of the amenities were well maintained and clean. We were totally not prepared but this place takes care of everything. Food was reasonably priced and smelt really good.

These guys don't mess around when it comes to ensuring riders have a great time. We opted for the #1 Jetboat discovery tour and I'm SO glad we did. This tour is 2.5 hours from start to finish. Check-in is at the edge of the parking lot and the dock is just down a small hill from there. They load and unload right on time, so be ready. We called ahead to see if dogs were allowed on the boat, but there's a size limit, so we weren't able to bring the dog. HOWEVER, they texted later to say they have pet sitters available if one was needed. I think this is such a cool service to offer to customers who may be traveling, like us, and might not be able to leave their pet behind. Taylor, one of the owners, was our guide. Because he and his wife are long time residents of Rogue Valley, he was incredibly knowledgeable about the history in the area and this beautiful river valley. We learned so much about history prior to and after US settlement on this tour. There were several kids on board and he asked some cool questions they could be involved in. Of course the highlight for the everyone was the many high speed 360* spins Taylor made with the boat! Smiles and giggles all around. This tour included a 45 min stop on Discovery Park island. You can bring a small cooler on board, which we did, but you can buy drinks and some food/snack items as well (including beer). You can rent peddle boats, SUP boards, and fishing gear for a small fee. They take credit cards and cash. They also hide stone arrowheads throughout the property for younger kids to find and take home as a souvenir, free. It's a lot of fun. The final leg is just as thrilling, with more history and spins. I highly recommend this experience for people of any age! It's is reasonably priced and worth every penny.

Great experience! We went down the rogue river and learned about history while taking in beautiful views. The captain, John, made it really fun and informative. After the boar ride up river he took us downriver where he dropped us of at the discovery Island and the fun began. They had paddle boards, pedal boats, life jackets, fishing poles and of course the inflatable aqua glide. There was also food and drinks, other games for the ones that don't like to get wet like corn hole, volleyball, ax throwing, see saw and a playground. Over all great place for kids and adults.

This was such a fun thing to do with our family when we were traveling through Southern Oregon. Our two boys, 8 and 13, had a blast! Great to hear the history of the area. Our guide, Steve, was spectacular. He made the trip so much fun. There was a person on our boat who had gone 6 times with another popular jet boating company in the area and she said that this was a way better experience than the other one. Would 100% recommend and would do it again when in the area!

Sad I'm just finding out about this place after living here for a while. Perfect summer spot. The tour was a lot of fun. The food and drink options are great. There's concerts and lots of water toys to use. The place is gorgeous and the owners are super nice!

A great way to spend your day, we went on a HOT day so it was extremely refreshing, Our driver was a blast, his skills were flawless to. We did the Hellsgate run, food was ok to. The boat we were on was Summertime II.

We had an amazing day today! The Rogue Jet Boat ride to and from Discovery Park was so fun! Our 5 yr old (and us adults) had a blast on the inflatable obstacle course and slide! We also rented paddle boards, enjoyed the food & beer, played volleyball, baggo, and darts. Highly recommend, so much to do.

All 4 kiddos said I need to give this review a 10 star rating! We all agree, the experience was awesome and we loved our time on the boat tour and Discovery Park experience. We will absolutely come back again.

How long does it take to get to discovery Island? We have a 2 1/2 year-old son do you have that many young ones on the boat? It would be his first boat ride

Yes lots of young ones every day. The Discovery Park Experience boat ride is around 10 minutes each way. Please see our website www.roguejetadventures.com for booking. Last day of 2025 season is Aug 31st!

The trip to Hellgate is just the right amount of time to not get fidgety. Dinner far exceeded all of our expectations. It is served family style, and there was more food than we could finish. My favorite was the cornbread, arguably the best I've ever had. The chicken and ribs weren't half bad either. The driver toned it down a bit on the way back, as the temperatures were starting to cool and we didn't really want to get too soaked. Everything was run very professionally. The pilot was very skilled at driving the boat, and knew every inch of the river. Nice views of wildlife along the way. Waiting in the long line was a bit of a pain, but we were lucky that with a big group we were able to wait under the Taprock patio so we had some shade. Overall Highly recommended!!

I went on it again and very happy to say "Best jet boat ride ever!" Lots of nature but best part was the spins. I was a little worried because most of the spins were going to be after a buffet brunch. Felt fine. Better than fine. It was great! When I say best, this would best of five or more Jet Boat trips I've taken. Use sunblock or better yet, a hat that ties or inches under your chin. Total fun even with a tad bit of red skin at my hairline.

First, they did an excellent job caring for our safety, and the set up everyday was beyond what we do at home. We got to a lunch spot and they'd have chairs set up, a full and plentiful spread with choices for gluten free or even just the more picky eaters. Dinners were delicious and they even had dessert every night. They were clean when preparing food, washing their hands often. Of and the first day, they noticed that we were early risers and offered to have coffee earlier if we wanted. The equipment was good, I can't compare to anything since this was my first rafting experience but there were no issues along the way. The duckies were a kick and Drew was careful to give detailed explanations on maneuvering the rapids (although I didn't follow them well, I was still okay). They also brought a ton of water and kept it cool, we could add Gatorade as we wished. 100% A+

Booking the trip was relatively straightforward, but Morrisons highly encouraged us to do trip insurance because they don't offer refunds, which should've been the first red flag. Before I go too far, I do want to give a huge shout out to our guides Drew, Adam, and Johnny. They were amazing, and if I were rating just them, this review would be 5++ stars. They were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely cared about us and our hike. The rest of the Morrison's staff...not so much. There was an active wildfire in the area before we started the hike. We talked to Morrison's several times in the days leading up to the trip (before we flew out) and even asked about rebooking the trip for a different time, when the forest in the area wasn't on fire. We were assured that even though they were planning a few modifications to our itinerary (i.e. at least one day of rafting instead of hiking), they were confident that it would be a wonderful trip. Fast forward to the end of day 2 of our trip...and they had to cancel the rest of the 4-day hike due to safety concerns and, ultimately, a mandatory evacuation. To be clear, I'm not upset that we were pulled out of the woods, as that was an obvious safety decision. I'm mad because we specifically asked about rebooking for different dates and were told no. Morrison's got us back to their main lodge the following morning, at which point they considered themselves done with us. There was no refund, no help finding rooms for the night, and the last lodge we were in literally wouldn't even let us use the bathroom in the hour we were waiting for vans to get us back to safety. Morrison's did at least send us all an official email about the trip cancellation so that we could share that with our travel insurance (if we'd purchased it) to try to get a refund, but that was about it. Morrisons also made the guides tell us, rather than having anyone higher up in the company talk to us. From what we can tell, they also didn't do anything to help their guides (e.g. helping them find lodging) once the trip was canceled. I will also add that I'm vegetarian, and although there was a lot of very tasty vegetarian food available, vegetarian protein was extremely scarce. For dinner the two nights we hiked (~9 mi on day 1 and 15 mi on day 2), there was no source of vegetarian protein for me to eat. (The gluten free and dairy free people fared much better.) It would've been so easy to roast a portobello mushroom the way they roasted salmon, or to do some kind of meat substitute when they did ribs (they did have meat substitute at the lunches, and eggs or veggie patties at breakfast). I had brought some protein powder with me, but not enough to make up for dinners without protein. My friends ended up giving me the protein bars they'd brought for themselves to try to make up for the dinners. To Morrison's: please consider all macronutrients (carbs, fat, AND protein) when planning meals for your guests! Overall, I would absolutely go back to the river with any of the guides, but I'll never use Morrisons again, and I recommend that you don't either.
