Our group (2 sixty somethings and 2 almost 30 somethings) took the mid day trip down the Rogue. It had a little whitewater (2 class 4 rapids) lots of scenery, a great guide (Larry), good food and lots of fun. The whole thing was well organized and very professional. I would definitely recommend Noah's to anyone looking for a raft trip. I hope to go on a longer, more exciting trip with the next time I'm in the area. read more

Matt and Steve were great tour guides -- super friendly and full of information about the river, the area around Oregon, and the wildlife. The gear was up-to-date, comfortable, and well-maintained. Excellent tutorial on how to paddle for our family of 5, with kids ranging from 12 to 16. Most importantly the river: beautiful greenery, home to cormorants, wild geese, turtles, salmon and deer. The rapids ranging up to class 4 were at the right level of difficulty to provide a thrill but also give our team some experience with navigating our way through them. Snacks on the bank were perfectly chosen - chips & fresh pico de gallo, hummus & pita, fresh veggies, cookies and Arnold Palmers. Rafting with Noah's is an absolute must if you are spending time in the Rogue Valley. Being an Ashland local, rafting any part of the Rogue River or the Upper Klamath River are two of the best activities in the area. I just did the Upper Klamath River trip with the company and have nothing but great things to say about the overall experience. The Upper Klamath trip has 42 named rapids which allows for an exhilarating time. The guides have a great sense of humor and are incredibly knowledgeable of the rivers and provide great insight on the surrounding areas. The catered lunch is very tasty and fresh! We'll just get the main problem out of the way first. We were a group of about 20 people on a half day rafting trip. Ages ranged from age 10 to 77. Once we got to the river (on their bus), we stood around for at least 25 minutes while the four guides prepared the boats and then got out the life vests, footwear, and helmets. Another 10 minutes were spent outfitting us. It's not like they didn't know we were coming! The bus (with one guide on it) picked us up on time! It would have been nice to jump into the boats as soon as we were outfitted. There were limited numbers of footwear. My teenage son had to wear shoes way too big for him. Also - no bathrooms. Now for the good stuff. The guides were all very nice and knowledgeable and worked hard to make sure we were having a good time. I was impressed. The river was great, and the rapids were fun. The lunch was vegetarian (not sure if our group requested that or if that is standard), and really yummy for everyone - even carnivores. Near our lunch spot there was a man wrestling to pull in a steelhead or a salmon, and the guides didn't mind waiting while we watched. That fish was over 40 lbs! It was nice that we had the flexibility to watch. read more

A group of 13 of us went (all college students) on the Rogue River. First off, to all the females and homosexual men, you are in for a treat. All the guides are ridiculously muscular with perfect tans. This could easily be Noah's male model agency. Besides being young gods, the guides were all super experienced, knowledgeable, and very playful. We played a few games involving climbing onto one another's rafts and throwing out members for the fun of it, surfing a few of the rapids, and seeing how long someone could stand at the helm and not fall off. I always felt very safe in their company too. It was the best rafting trip I've ever gone on! Also, shout-out to Mac, our guide. You're awesome! read more

I just did the half-day Rogue River white water rafting trip and it was one of the most enjoyable rafting trips I have done. All the staff was friendly, the food they served for our mid-rafting snack was delicious, and most important, our guide Mac was fun and super knowledgeable about the river and surrounding area. He was also pretty knowledgeable about French literature, but that's not really relevant. I would definitely do a longer trip with this group! read more

These guys do a really great job. The guides are knowledgeable and skilled at getting you down the river. We've done their trip down the wild and scenic portion, with stops at lodges along the way. I was not fortunate to actually book a trip (mostly to being off season) But if I could give Sandy and her customer service 10 stars I would. She bent over backwards to try and get me scheduled for something. She sent several emails checking back in with me , contacted another company to see if they had any openings, and sent a list of suggestions for places to see and things to do in the area during my stay. The next time I make it up this way, Noah's will be on the top of my list of must do's. read more

This is by far my favorite rafting company. The tour guides are interactive and fun as well as safe and knowledgeable. My whole family and friend enjoyed our trip. In our boat we had a range of ages from 65 down to 12. Last year we went on the same trip with our guide Chris, who we loved so much we requested him again this year. The trip ranges from easy areas where we got in and swam to class 4 rapids. I highly recommend this company for any rafting trips in Ashland. We look forward to it every time we are up here. Also the halfway snack was delicious and healthy. Our driver, Joaquin, did an excellent job throughout the drive there and back to our cars. Erin was not in our boat, however the short times I spoke to her she was very nice and she did an excellent job with a boat load of small boys. read more

We did a full-day rafting trip with Noah's on the Rogue River this last weekend. Our guide was Paul, who was very intelligent and was able to answer all of our questions about the wildlife along the river, and he also told us stories about places along the river. Jordan was our driver, who was also very friendly. They were both very helpful. We had a fun time on the river, and enjoyed the Class IV rapids the most of course. It's too bad that we couldn't do more of those, but that's what the higher level rafting trips are for..We did some kayaking in the afternoon, which I think is what's really unique about this rafting company. It was my first time kayaking, so it was nice to be able to try that out. I also really enjoyed the lunch that they provided. It was the perfect type (sandwiches) and amount of food to have for a day on the water. They also have someone that photographs you on one of the Class IV rapids, and those photos are available for purchase, which I thought was neat. The only negative thing I have to say is that I wish we could have gone along with the current more when we were kayaking rather than trucking along the whole time. When there weren't any rapids, it would have been nice to sit back and enjoy a bit of floating, rather than constantly playing the catch up game. But overall, we had a really fun day and would definitely use this company again if we ever found ourselves in Oregon a second time. read more

Equal parts stand-up act and coach/motivator, he helped our group (which really ran the range from novice to seasoned rafter) get through Class I through IV+ in the short 7 mile trek. My mom and I decided to go with Noah's for our VERY FIRST rafting experience ever! As one could imagine, we had our reservations about hitting "just a couple class 4 rapids" for our first time. We had signed up for the Nugget Half Day run on the Rogue River, which was advertised as an intro to rafting. It really delivered! Tanner, our guide, was AWESOME. He had skillful control of the boat, was totally friendly to talk to, had lots of knowledge about the nature and the geology of the area (which I really appreciated), and even gave us some of his personal sunscreen so that I wouldn't lobster myself. Both he and the rest of the staff were extreme helpful, kind, and experienced. I felt safe even during the most thrilling times. I strongly recommend Noah's and Tanner for your first rafting experience. 5 Stars, easy. read more

Went on half day Rogue trip with Levi. He was skilled, informative, and entertaining. The trip was mostly flat water, but we did run some mild rapids and a few exciting ones. It was over 100F, so I was glad for plenty of opportunities to jump in and cool off. I recommend sunglasses, a hat, and a shirt you can wear in the boat and the water. A great way to spend an afternoon before an 8 pm play. read more

Wow.....What a fantastic time. This was the most memorable experience of my life. We did the one day upper Kalamath and it was great. All of our guides we very professional and made everyone feel safe and secure. Our guide was "Justin".......This man knows his stuff and I would suggest that anyone wanting to go with Noahs ask for Justin. He makes the experience so enjoyable, while providing for safety first. You hear alot about poison oak at the lunch site..........There was such a little amount that I would not ever have worried about it unless you went over to it and rolled around like a dumb @#$. They give you this great breakfast before you take off and then half way they stop in a great location and set up a lunch. We love Noah's. We have gone on the Gold Nugget intro to whitewater trip three times. The first and third time were fantastic, because Andy was our guide. Ask for him if you have a chance. Many of the guides also seem excellent. Unfortunately, we had one on our second trip that was significantly less than excellent. That being said, the guides are informative, safety conscious, and mostly all seem dedicated to making the trip a blast for rafters of all ages and abilities. read more

A perfect trip in every way. What a beautiful river, the rapids were a blast, and our guides (Gil and Jerry) were so helpful. It's not cheap, but felt every bit worth it. The adults got to paddle themselves through the rapids in kayaks, while the kids enjoyed themselves being ferried down in the raft, happily blasting away with their Super Soakers (BYO). We did the 3 night lodge trip. And Paradise Lodge really is appropriately named. read more
