I drove over an hour to visit the town of Carthage and try a local place for a good hamburger. This place was recommended by a local who grew up in the area. The atmosphere had a lot of charm and interesting decor. I observed many families of all ages dining. The table had several spots of sticky syrup on it from previous customers that I found by placing my arm on the table. The waitress and staff were very friendly and attentive to taking care of the customers. I chose the BBQ Bacon Hamburger and it was a disappointment. I tasted nothing bbq in the burger. The bacon may have had some on it but the burger meat was lost in all the other fixings. They were fresh and provided majority of the flavor. I t was difficult to taste the meat. Appears the patty was very thin and could have been smashed during the cooking. The bun was brioche style and tasted fresh. Reduced to two stars. Unfortunately, within two hours I became sick with lower Gi issues. Food contamination concern.

Excellent food and beautiful atmosphere. I'm leaving a three star review because the staff are way too young and inexperienced.

The music was just as good as the bands you would find out in Nashville and was my favorite part of our time at the creamery. They had only beer available on opening weekend- and pretty lame choices at that. No craft beer- just generic domestic beer plus one flavor of white claw. I'm hoping they add in some taps and offer some good beer on draft eventually. No wine or liquor at the moment but it looks like they've prepared to have their liquor license based on the bar set up. They only had pizza by the slice. We did not eat here. I'm very much hoping they expand their food selection. The ice cream was Blue Bell. I thought with the name creamery they would be serving homemade ice cream. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't offer more information about what is to come. Would have loved to see a menu that they will offer in the future- or at least if the staff could have had that info. When I asked the bartender if they planned to offer more than just bottled beer in the future her response was, "I just got here at 4:00 and I don't know anything." I've given this place 3 stars because I think they will expand their offerings soon. We will come back after they've made a few improvements.

Bc of it's natural rock curves, visibility of the front stage is hit or miss, especially for the short girlies like me. Security and walking to the venue was easy. And the Yurts were pricey but AC, running bathroom, very clean and cozy so can't complain. This can be a real pain at a lot of venues so having it go so smoothly here was nice. The staff was exceptionally friendly. Their friendliness stood out. It seemed like everyone I encountered really enjoyed working there and you love to see that. There were a few food options...a pizza truck and a bbq truck. I got the bbq and it was both delicious and reasonably priced. (Seriously get the bbq sandwich.) Another win. On top of all that, the venue itself was awesome. A big cave, sloped downward toward the stage so you could get a good view from anywhere, and the sound of the show was great. Overall this is a unique and interesting venue that's doing a lot of things right. Would go out of my way to return. Love it. 5 stars.

There's a row of boots on the wall, which I think is for display only and a call out to the time when they actually sold boots here. This historic building itself feels like a shotgun (long and narrow) and apparently once served as a Civil War warehouse and later the Sho-Bud Steel Guitar Company. To prolong our stay, we ordered cheeseburgers and beer (fries and onion rings were extra) for brunch. I tried to interest folks in their $6 "Recession Special" - A grilled or fried bologna sandwich piled high, with a bag of potato chips, a Moon Pie, and a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon (PBR) beer, but got no takers. We sat up on the balcony, which we had all to ourselves and with a nice view to the main floor below. Our waitresses were down home friendly, hard working, and good at what they were doing. We felt right at home and this was perhaps the most classic and authentic Nashville experience we had here. The band even wished my Happy Birthday. :)

Journey, right? I'm a metalhead primarily, but enjoy quite a few other types. Not a huge fan of country unless it's funny, but that's another story. I checked out the hours on Yelp, naturally, because where else, and noticed there hadn't been a review since around 2015. I'm about to rectify that... It's only getting 4 stars due to parking. It's not marked and you guess that all the cars directly across the street are PROBABLY where you should go... and once you get inside, and sign tells you that it IS correct. Confusing. Would you be towed? I have a handicap tag and I parked in front of the building to the right of them next to two very large pickup trucks. Wasn't towed, no ticket. Thank God. Fluke? Lucky? Don't know... When we went up the weird little steps... not exactly handicap accessible... it's a fairly dark crowded place with a wide aisle separating tables from the check-in area, a small serving area, the long bar, more tables the stage, and access to the upstairs seating area. The lady that checked us in verified Kim's name in a book even though she ordered her tickets through some app... didn't even need to scan the QR code! We were given our little bracelets and went to find a table... hopefully... as it fills up FAST there! However, as soon as we got the bracelet on, we were headed past two young ladies who gave us FREE PASSES TO NEXT WEEK'S GUNS 'N ROSES TRIBUTE! Yep! Have bracelets to get into that for free, thanks to Jadan Geren and Rachel Dame. Thanks, dolls! We will try to make it! Thankfully, a sweet married couple by the names of Shannon and Brandon had a couple of free chairs at their table, so we had a place to sit, and it was close to both bar and stage. A pole was kind of in the way, but... sitting. Table. Nice couple. Thankful. The prices aren't too bad. Bottled beer was $4.50, mixed drinks I'm not sure of as I was the designated driver. Bottled water $1... fries $2.50, onion rings $2.99. Combos like burgers and fries $8... grilled cheese and fries I think was $7 or $7.50... they have things like fried pickles or cheese sticks for about $8... sorry I couldn't get a pic of the paper sheet that was a menu... ours was wrinkled, and they're a dark wine color... The opening act, which wasn't advertised, wasn't bad if you like a predominantly country, raspy voiced acoustic guitar kinda guy. His name was "Bobby". Just... Bobby. Was told he played in Nashville 6 days a week. I can see it. He's pretty good. Just not what anyone wanted to hear for a couple of hours while waiting for a Journey tribute... and I heard people complaining left and right. And yawning. Yep. Yawning. It was the fact raspy voices don't have much range, and after about an hour he was beyond monotonous... Once Resurrection came on stage? It got hopping!!! The bar had pretty much run out of food during Boring Bobby, so people need to eat EARLY. The acoustics are pretty good, the bass beat even vibrates the floor! The employees are ALL really nice. Customers/venue goers (whatever you want to call the people that bought tickets) are pretty nice, but have no compunction whatsoever of blocking your view. None. The open floor in front of the stage isn't that big and they will cram themselves on it or block the aisle leading to it, making it hard to get to your table if it's close to the stage and you went to the bar or the restrooms located to the right of the bar. Oh well. Concert. Happy rocking people. Deal with it, right? I'll update if Kim and I make it to the GNR tribute...

We were welcomed into a space that perfectly balances rustic charm with understated elegance .. warm and intimate, yet refined. Our waiter embodied the polished, attentive professionalism one expects to find in Paris or Vienna--knowledgeable, gracious, and ever present without being intrusive. The meal began with rustic Italian bread, crisp crust and a tender, airy center, paired with an exceptional olive oil infused with fresh herbs and garlic, the simplest things elevated to extraordinary. Our calamari appetizer was simply the best we've ever had. The squid was remarkably fresh, tender, with a feather-light, crisp batter and accompanied by a warm marinara that tasted as though it had been simmering all afternoon in an Italian kitchen. For entrée, my wife and I shared a flawlessly prepared filet mignon, a perfect mid-rare and finished with an indulgent Gorgonzola butter cream sauce. The accompanying crisp, frites were incredible dredged through that stunning gorgonzola sauce. Our guest chose the homemade lasagna, a dish that looked as though it had come directly from a Tuscan Nona's kitchen. His opinion carried particular weight--he is an international tour director who had just "eaten his way across Italy on lasagna." He declared this version equal to the best. Dessert was a shared tiramisu, dusted with aromatic espresso. It was light, perfectly balanced .. the finest tiramisu I have ever tasted. Yes, the final bill was on the high end for Monterey, but value is measured by the entire experience. A meal of this caliber would easily command twice the price in Nashville--assuming you could find a restaurant capable of delivering this level of authentic Italian cuisine and impeccable service. Sapori di Napoli has set a new standard for us. It will be the venue for all of our future special occasions
