This describes our first-time experience with Noble after a simple quote request to replace a car fob key battery and then create a copy of that very same key. The owner, Shawn, was the first among five businesses to respond within minutes. He asked for one more detail (if the car had a regular ignition or a push button), and then provided the quote. If I was planning to get the key itself, he suggested I call ahead to make sure their locksmith would be on site to get the work done. We decided to replace the battery only at this time. My husband said he was warmly greeted and they started right away. The guy who helped my husband worked and tried diligently to get the fob key open; in fact, he even broke his screwdriver doing so (SO sorry!) I had contacted Noble Locksmith about a month ago to install some new locks. They were very fast to respond and very flexible when making appointments. I work during the week so weekends are the only times I can take care of services. After making an appointment I had to cancel and they were very good about it. A month later, I remade the appointment and again they were able to accommodate my scheduling restrictions. They usually give a 2 hour window but I asked to be closer to the earlier end of the window, and they were able to accommodate. The technician who was sent out was very knowledge and also quick with the work. The service call was $69 which was pretty reasonable. Initially had a great experience with Noble Locksmith, they programmed my first key for me and decided to give them another try, after confirming with the locksmith that if i provided a key with remote start (same year and FCC ID) it could be programmed to my car that has it available i decided to book them again. When the new locksmith came he didn't even take a look inside the car or even try to program it, he was adamant that it wouldn't work and charged me and left. I don't understand why they'd tell me one thing before then change it when i needed the service . The boss had called me, telling me i can't quote their employees from a previous interaction, then proceeded to patronize me, call me a liar and began to act very childish. I'm really surprised at their rapid response AND their price. Yelp quotes from other businesses were almost double for a standard lockout service. I put a quote for service on Yelp at 2:49pm, Noble Locksmith responded at 2:56, we ironed details at 3:00, technician texted that he was on his way at 3:02, and he arrived at 3:27pm. Our keypad lock must have run out of battery and we didn't have the master key with us. He had us back in our house in about 20 minutes. This was on a Saturday afternoon, too! I needed a key because the only key I had for the car stopped working. I couldn't wait 10 days to get a key from the dealer. So I called Noble Locksmith. They came out and made me a key that afternoon. They key worked fine for a couple of months and then it just QUIT! Couldn't even TURN IT. My car has been in the shop for 4 MONTHS !!! They FINALLY found the problem! Noble NEVER went thru the proper channels to program the key. (They came in thru the back door). Which ended up compromising the VGS and EIS systems in my car.
