I didn't actually have a chance to use their services unfortunately. I was looking to have a Saab key fob programmed and called for a quote. I had been told how much less expensive locksmiths are than dealers. I had a bit of sticker shock though. I was quoted a price of just over $600 for the job. (!) I declined. Another locksmith quoted me $400, and surprisingly the best price was from a dealer - $195. Make sure to check around. I just read the owners response. Sorry my 3 star review upset you, but I was just making the point that your shop is at the high end re: pricing. I'm sure you do excellent work. Yes, Saab is out of business, and I wasn't clear when I referred to the dealership. Former dealer - Marvin K. Brown Cadillac in Mission Valley used to be a Saab store as well and they still service them. And, I have no idea where you got the idea that I was rude to your staff. It was a pretty short call. I told the rep what I needed done, she put me on hold, came back and gave the estimate. I told her it seemed to be on the high side, thanked her and hung up. Needed a new key/FOB for my car as one of them had a button that no longer worked. & Was worried about not having a working spare one. Jamie & Eric were great. I walked in & told them the problem, left my 2 keys, went next door to the auto parts store, I got a phone call about 15 minutes later, letting me know my new key FOB was all ready. They told me they took the battery out of my non-working key & let me know I could still keep it & use it as an extra spare (to unlock / start the car manually). Great info as I wouldn't have thought about keeping the non-working key lying around. Long story short, I own a rental spot in North Park and was about to get new tenants. My old tenant left me her keys and in my scramble to get things cleaned and ready, I lost the keys! I then found the keys, but they didn't seem to work on the mailbox. I thought that was strange and asked her if she accidentally gave me the wrong one. She said no and panic started to set in. I googled online and it seemed like such a headache to figure out how to get a mail box key switched for a condo building. Is the mailbox owned by the city in which you can request from them to get an extra key, or is it private, or is it owned by our HOA??? After calling multiple people, I landed on this place that said they were able to switch out the key since it was a private owned mailbox. The arrived that same day and had a new key switched out within 15-30 minutes. They provided me with additional keys and I was able to pay them right there. I lost my keys and their mobile service came right away to help. He had to make a key to unlock my car which he then gave me which was very nice. There was a problem with my car connecting to their server, (my car has weird wiring) and somehow my two programmed keys from when I got the car got deleted. Because my car make and model needs 2 keys to be programmed in in order for the key to work long term, getting one key made wasn't an option. They were very kind and made me a second key on the house. It wasn't anyones fault, and yet they took care of it and went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend Noble Locksmith. So I have a 2009 Chrysler 300, love my old car with 6 miles round trip to and from work and with the gas prices the way they are I would like to keep this car as long as I can with NO car payment. I just left this clean, organized, comfortable locksmith. I lost one of my key fobs and ordered a replacement over the internet (Keyless Entry Remote, Inc) for $108.00 - 10% off and free shipping). My Lexus dealership quoted me over $250 for the key fob and $199 to have it programmed. Keyless Entry Remote give me Noble Locksmith as one of the approved places (the other one was $30 more in my area) to have the key fob programmed and the emergency key cut. My key fob was really busted and was getting progressively worse. I kept putting off getting a replacement because I knew they were costly, but I reached the point where the panic button seemed jammed because the alarm was going off the second I turned off my car and removed the key. Obviously couldn't keep going on like that so I went straight to Yelp to get quotes. Noble was the cheapest, $199 after tax (this was with me coming to them, it would have been more if I called them out to me). Also took literally 15 minutes for them to program it, no appointment. I called several places to get my key and fob copied for my 2012 Hyundai Sonata. Every other place I called quoted at least $100 for the key and over $100 for the fob. Noble quoted me around $20 for the key and $99 for the fob. I asked a guy at another place why so much for the key and he said something about a chip in there. So I called Noble back and they said no, no chip. $20. So I went to Noble. Cassie had already put aside a blank key and a fob for them to work on. They were done in about 10 minutes. Your key might or might not have a chip. But if it doesn't Noble won't try to tell you it does, and they won't charge you some exorbitant amount. If I ever need another key or fob copied, I'm just going straight to this place. read more
