It's a long story. We booked our move from Cleveland Oklahoma to Beaumont Texas in May of 2025. They showed up on the 31st of May to pick our stuff up. Upon arrival the driver said we had to pay him $1500 dollars on top of what we had already paid to Nobel moving and storage, the was nothing said to us upon booking that we had to pay $1500 cash to the driver. We talked to Nobel and agreed to go ahead and pay the driver. We'll they started loading our belongings, basically taking the most valuable items, and the said that we had reached our cubic foot allotment and that if we wanted anything else loaded we would have to pay another $6000.00 dollars. We argued that wasn't the deal we made. I told the person we booked with everything that needed to be shipped and he came up with the price we paid. There was never anything said about cubic feet. I told them I was not paying any extra to just take what they had loaded and I would move the rest myself, which I did. After getting to Beaumont we had to pay extra an extra storage fee of over $900.00 dollars because we weren't ready for delivery within the 30 day period. But on July 15th I called them and told them we were ready for delivery. I called them consistently from July 15th until late November to be told that they couldn't locate our belongings and we had to file with CSI to try and settle our claim because our belongings were gone. We filed the claim with CSI and Nobel agreed to the terms of the negotiation. Well we have never received any monetary payment from Nobel moving and storage for our loss. And to top it all off their phone number is no longer in service. So here we are in late August of 2026, no belongings and no money. I'm thoroughly pissed off. What are we supposed to do. WARNING: Avoid Noble Moving and Storage at all costs! My elderly brother was making a move from Las Vegas, NV to Atlanta, GA and on moving day I came to assist. I am not exaggerating, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had with a company. He was quoted $3,015.25 for the move and paid a $1,262 deposit in person. On moving day, they arrived late, in an unmarked truck, and gave a quote of $6700, or they would not do the job. He was on a deadline, so they had him backed into a corner. We finally negotiated them down and under duress paid $1,400 to load his belongings--then they held his property hostage for over 30 days. When his items finally arrived, the driver refused certified payment and demanded another $2,000 cash on the spot. Most of his furniture was dumped in my driveway, damaged, and/or missing. To make things worse, the company went so far as to forged his signature on the Bill of Lading paperwork that transferred the move to a third party. This company's actions cost him thousands of dollars, endless stress, and months of frustration. Do not trust them. We have filed formal complaints with the FMCSA, BBB, and Attorney General's Office for fraud and unethical business practices. Please do your due diligence. This company is associated with another company at this address. This company's double charged us on services and supplies; the inventory listing was incorrect and incomplete. They used two different cargo numbers on our items. We are still missing our cargo; we also have damages and broken parts that had to be replaced. We have been dealing with them since May of 2025 and the need to pay them in cash only when contract explicitly states we can pay by check and credit card. These guys are brokers for American Choice VanLines who has supposedly filed for Ch 11 and yet business is still open since I learned of this back in July. We are still waiting on our items and refund on services that were not completed. Reimbursements for items damaged and beyond repair along with items completely missing as our boxes and bins were rifled. The insurance wouldn't have paid out because of ACVL's ch 11. Sadly, the mistake made was using ACVL's paperwork not Noble's. Thankfully, I had an air tag on our cargo which is how I knew where our items have been and yet no one bothered to their due diligence on making sure all our items were accounted for prior to leaving the storage! We have dealt with Joe (who refuses to give his last name, title,etc) who has offered $600 out of the kindness of his heart and sign an NDA. My husband countered and when he did --another side of Joe came out and attempted to intimidate us and told us we had one day to think about it. We declined by not calling back. I wish I had read these reviews before I gave them the down payment which they stole (~$3.4K). Basically, I am an Engineer by education and have worked in a variety of very responsible positions during my career including VP Global Operations and COO of several $1B+ companies and I am absolutely embarrassed to admit that I was scammed by Nobel Moving and Storage. They took me for ~$3,400 and would not set up the moving trucks and told me I had missed their deadline for setting up trucks and therefore, I forfeited my down payment. Please save yourself the frustration of getting taken by this group. My family has moved 14 times over 40 years of professional employment with a number of professional moving companies and this was the first time we were swindled out of over $3.4K. I had an absolutely horrific experience with this company. I was moving a small one bedroom apartment from FL to TX and was originally quoted around $2600 for the move. The sales person was intentionally vague with truck spacing details claiming to be able to offer low prices for the FULL inventory I provided. He also rushed over the inventory list on the phone claiming "it's ok if it's not completely accurate right now they are happy to make adjustments later". They certainly were happy to adjust by intentionally leaving off furniture I had listed and then upcharging me an additional $700 to add it back on a subsequent phone call. Upon pick up, the two movers video called the dispatch office to go through inventory which HAD NOT changed since the previous conversation with the company. The dispatch worker became rude, aggressive and immediately said I had more than what was intended and would not fit in the allotted space on the truck. He said I had the option to either abandon my move with no refund of the previous $1800 I had already paid or pay an additional $2000 for more truck space. When I was questioning how the estimate could be so off since I didn't have any more furniture than what they already had on their list (in fact their list continued to have errors including a book shelf and entertainment center that I did not have and even upon removing those mistakes there still apparently wasn't room) the dispatch worker became aggressive and said he had other jobs and no time to go over these specifics with me. I ended up abandoning my entire bed and my couch as well as a mirror in order to STILL pay an additional $1000 to fit my move. I had also been promised by the sales team half of a truck (ended up being about a fourth of the truck), that I could pay 50% on pick up and 50% on delivery and use a credit card and none of this was true. He completely lied in order to make a sale. I had to pay 70% of the increased price with a personal check on pick up and they wanted cash on delivery which I definitely did not have enough of on me at the time. The salesman also said that the movers would pack up furniture/mirror/TV (wrap, tape, etc) free of charge. I was then told by dispatch this was also a lie. Every single communication I had with this company told me different things and I was continuously charged more money while being treated like I was in the wrong. At one point the dispatch even said "you're not a mover so you wouldn't understand" when I simply asked for him to explain the additional $2000 worth of charges. Extremely rude customer service and sales that were criminal with what they offered compared to reality. I ended up paying over $1700 more than my initial estimate and had to move to a different state with no couch and bed. I feel as though they intentionally were vague and undershot the pricing from the start so they could walk in on pick up day and rack up the price so that I would be desperate to agree in order to get my belongings moved. I cannot express my frustration enough with this company and would NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE to use them for a move in the future. The two movers themselves were the only silver lining in this horrible experience. They were friendly and treated my stuff with care and ultimately tried to work with us even when the other members of this company were adamant about ripping us off. At the end of the day this was by far the most frustrating and worst moving experience of my life. If I was financially able I would have told them to leave on pick up without taking anything but I would have been out nearly $2000. I started to do a move with them and then saw all the reviews. I sent them an email to cancel my move (20 minutes after we spoke, there was no one that answered the phone) I am contacting my lawyer and took all my money out of my checking account so they could not pull the funds. I spoke with Robert from Noble and he assured me and had me go to the DOT website that they were a honest company. I never have used echeck and will be going to my bank to get help in stopping the transfer of funds. I hired Noble moving to move my belongings from Bardstown Kentucky to Yucca Valley California for me. They initially quoted me $3100.00 for the complete move. I gave them the measurements for my Queen size bed, noghtstands and dresser set. I also had 25 boxes of items and a washer and dryer set. Lastly I had my rolling tool box with some of my tools and equipment in it. When they arrived on the scheduled day they were late having called me the day before and telling me they would be there no later than noon. When they finally arrived it was almost 3 pm and it took them 3 hours to load up. I had tried to call the number from the day before but it just kept going to voice mail. The driver was in a rental truck and when I asked him he stated that he worked for a subcontractor of noble moving. He measured and counted my belongings and stated that they couldn't take everything at the rate quoted to me and it would cost an additional $2000 now at pickup and another $2250 upon delivery. Having no other options I contacted family who agreed to assist me with the delivery money. They had stated it would take between 7-10 days to deliver in California. At the end of 10 days and no delivery I attempted to contact the subcontractors without success so I contacted Noble directly. They stated that it was 7-10 business days and not calendar days. At the end of 10 business days without receiving my belongings I called Noble and they told me that by the contract they had 30 business days for delivery. At the end of 30 business days and still no delivery I again called and they stated that it was at the warehouse and would be shipped when the weather cleared. Most of my items arrived 14 days later (11 business days) after they were promised but they had lost my tool box and the supports for my bed. I again contacted noble by phone but they stated I had to contact their customer support by email. I have been send emails to customer support without response. Not sure what else to do at this point. The contract does state they will pay $30 / day for late deliveries but without a method to get support I'm out that money as well as the $300+ for my tools. This company took a $768 deposit from me promising that they would move my 2 Bed Room apartment from Alhambra Ca. to Cedar City Utah 428 miles. Then I got the invoice and it showed I was alloted 330 cubic feet only about 5 feet of floor space in a 26 foot truck. I hired this company for an interstate move after they pitched themselves as a family-run, veteran-owned business that supports veterans. I was told I'd receive a veteran discount, applied on the day of the move once I provided proof. That never happened. My original quote was for $3,500 based on a 413 cubic foot estimate. On moving day, they didn't show up -- citing a vague "mechanical issue." The next day, a subcontracted crew I had never heard of arrived in an unmarked Penske truck. Noble never disclosed they used third-party movers. STAY FAR AWAY from Noble Moving and Storage, who is anything but noble! This was the classic bait and switch so many have heard about with moving companies. I was quoted a price for a 26' truck for a cross country move and when it actually came to time to move the price increased dramatically and the terms of the move completely changed. We considering walk away from our cash deposit, which is where they get you. Against our better judgement we continued with them (huge mistake). The movers literally showed up in a U-Haul truck, loaded our belongings and then hauled them off to storage. Then added another 4 days to the calendar before they would consider moving it, which went from a 26' truck to a tractor trailer. At first glance I noticed the moving guys carefully wrapping our furniture in moving blankets. When my furniture arrived damaged, I found appliances and other pieces wrapped in cellophane shrink wrap. These were the pieces that were damaged. I lost an entire bedroom set to their negligence, marred and scratched a brand new dining room table, a new stand up freezer was scratched and dented everywhere, and other pieces likewise scratched and marred. The delivery driver was great and he too expressed the dissatisfaction with the original movers, since he simply pickups and delivers per a contract. None of this is ever disclosed that Noble Moving doesn't actually move your belongings, rather it is completely subcontracted out to local help and truck lines. The telephone customer service gives nonsense lip service and the online customer service may try to intimidate you. It may take months to get your goods delivered. None of these reviews were here when I looked back in May. I sure wish they were. They did the same thing I read in the below reviews. TERRIBLE LIARS, MANIPULATORS, THIEVES!! Arrived 5hrs late, eyeballed my stuff, more than doubled the price, I had to be out of my 5 bedroom house by the next morning, I was between a rock and a hard place (and he knew it!!) The subbed out company could care less. I argued with him for hours to remove the $2000 additional charge for packing tape and blankets that was supposed to be included. it was a scam from the get go. Took them more than 30 days to deliver. 75% of my boxes were not only smashed and poorly retaped but I had heavy duty totes that looked like someone stomped on them, busted/cracked, and we had damaged/broken antiques and get this the box with my expensive shoes/handbags mysteriously didn't make the delivery. I guess that was their tip. Unfortunately I am finding more and more people complaining about not only them but others that do something similar, you have to take your stuff yourselves. However, on the day of the move, the movers showed up late and I was told I had to pay an extra $1300-$1600 because some of the items were missing from my original quote. They are going to tell me, that quote was just an estimate and I won't know the final cost until they assess all the items in the house.
