As nice and friendly as the owner and employees of the salon are, there are certain other things that need to be improved on for this business to receive a higher rating. Unfortunately, it appears that much of the equipment in the salon is very old and worn. The leather is cracking and chipping on all the seats. When one walks into a spa salon to get their nails done, they often pay attention to these kinds of things because your expectation is to relax and feel pampered. So, unfortunately, the furniture spoke very loudly. The towels that were being used also felt rough and noticeably aged. It just makes me concerned how sanitary the utensils are that they're using to clean the fungus and other yucky things from underneath clients nails. I only stuck to a basic pedicure and went elsewhere to have my gel nails put on, because I was concerned about my health and the quality of the work. I really hope that things are able to turn around for this business, because I know a few people that have lived in Jenkintown for a very long time, and I've said good things about it, but everything changes, and as a business owner you need to stay on top of your game. After going here for months, I didn't realize how unsanitary this place was until this happened, after which I had to take prescription medication for three months, which could have damaged my liver! I had cuts in my skin from the trimming of my cuticles on 8 fingers, and they hurt for several days. My nails looked nice enough as long as you didn't look too closely. There was nails where the polish didn't quite go to the edge of the nail, the thumb on one hand was longer than on the other, and the color application was not the same on every nail, some appearing lighter than others. read more

I said I wanted dip and they said they didn't have it. My friend said she wanted a pedi w/ callus removal and they said they didn't have it. We asked then why does it's say it on the list of services and they said they don't know??????? Then said it would cost us more money. (We know!?!?). First time here, I got my nails done by Esther. She's probably one of the nicest nail techs I've ever met. Super sweet and professional. Nails look very good. My only complaint is that she jammed her thumbnail into my cuticle and made it bleed and then brushed it with that big poofy brush. Super unsanitary. Other than that she did a really great job and she has wonderful customer service. Update: it's been a week and my gel has chipped off of three fingers. Considering I paid $53 for a gel refill (plus tip) this is extremely upsetting. Wont be going back. read more

Finally found my permanent nail salon! I walked in on a Wednesday evening and waited less than 10 minutes. I got a gel manicure and the nail tech Esther did a thourough and beautiful job! She was very kind and introduced herself which is something I never experienced at a nail salon before. My manicure was well worth the price (btw not overpriced like other reviews say) and came out perfectly. Since I was there in the last hour before closing I scheduled a pedicure for 2 days after. Just as amazing! Noble nail salon is very very clean, no wierd chemical smells like other places and very quiet and relaxing. They also play classical music which was a nice touch unlike most places they have tons of tvs on. This is a true gem because of its relaxing and personal feel. It is clear all the workers are diligent and make sure their cliental feel relaxed and at home. There seems to be a lot of regulars there, however if you are a new client they still treat you with the same respect and care. I finally found a place to help me unwind after the work week. It's very rare I write a review so shortly after a first visit but it was such a lovely experience! So much so, I will now be a regular customer. The attention detail the salon and Yoo put forth, as well as the relaxing classical and instrumental music laced with birds chirping (reminding me spring is just around the corner) was what set this salon apart from others in my opinion. While in the neighborhood I walked in without an appointment, was greeted warmly and was taken immediately even during what is usually a busy time, Friday afternoon. I came in with a design in mind and Yoo, my personable and sweet technician executed it flawlessly. In fact, it's my favorite evil eye design to date and I've been getting them religiously for over a year now! Yoo helped me choose a color and even tested them on her own nails for me to see how they would look. Yoo clipped a split nail, glued and filed it. The salon had made cushy bolsters for wrist so I was extra comfortable. They also provide white fingerless gloves to protect skin from the UV rays which are used during gel manis. (Think Madonna's look in "Like A Virgin"). The water temp was perfect and she used a stone nail file which I had never seen before. No harsh tools were used at all which are sometimes needed with gel manis. As if all of these little things weren't enough, Yoo used hot rocks on my neck, upper back and arms while my nails were drying! Ummm...yesss!! Whether you upgrade to spa pedi or not, hot rocks are always used! Awesome. The owner who entered mid treatment was also so sweet. She even gave me a friendly squeeze hello and we smiled over my evil eye. They do charge $5 for nail design but I'm totally willing to pay for all of the other little touches. The salon isn't Uber fancy or trendy but it was extremely relaxing, warm environment and provided excellent service. *Quarter meter street parking although there is a lot from the church across the street many use too. **Cash for tip only although they let me slide since it was my first time. Very disappointed. I paid $75 (discounting tip of $25), and I left with very poorly done nails. My acrylic nail set did not even last 7 days. I had to rip them off because they started to lift and were catching my hair. They didn't tell me over the phone that they did not have the powder dip. Instead, the lady just started painting my nails with regular polish, which I adamantly did not want. My pedicure was sad-looking. Very sloppy. The lady did not even file my toenails to even them out and give them shape. I could have done a better job myself and saved $100. read more

I just moved to the area and was looking for a place to get my nails done. I found Noble Nail Salon on yelp and, after reading the great reviews, called to make an appointment that afternoon. I instantly felt relaxed right when I walked in. This salon has the feeling of a spa, which I've never come across in a nail place. It's very clean, has a nice layout, has nice music playing and is in an adorable house off the main street in Jenkintown. Everyone who was working there seemed very nice, and the woman who did my pedicure and manicure was really friendly and did an awesome job. It was very clear that Noble Nail Salon has a lot of repeat customers that go to the same manicurists. It seems like a really friendly place and I will be going back anytime I want to get my nails done. I was really surprised when one customer came in saying that she wanted whatever color she had the last time, and the woman doing her nails remembered the color. I've never experienced customer service like that in a nail salon before and thought it was so nice. Lastly, my manicure looked great and lasted a full week before chipping. I spend all day at a computer, so that was shocking to me. My pedicure is still going strong after a week (but they usually last longer anyways). I will definitely be going back to Noble Nails and highly recommend it, you wont be disappointed! This place is fantastically classy. Rather than seven TVs showing Opera, this place plays clasical music. Manicures and pedicures come with hot stone massages. It's a great place to go to relax - it's quiet, calm, and very nice. $12 for a manicure, $30 for a pedi - but the massage is wonderful and totally worth it. They have discounts Mon - Wed on various things. There's no parking, but when school is out you can park in the lot across the street. read more

Used to go here all the time---see all the check ins and tips...lol but my last experience (and the end for me) was when I went in for an appointment, waited 30 min past my start time and was still rushed. We went for mother-daughter manicures as a Christmas gift and had a wonderful experience! Three generations--kids manicure for my 6 year old (with free flower design!), gel for me and my sister, and manicure for my mom. We had appointments and they were staffed and ready for us. The techs were friendly and skilled. We were in and out in under an hour and all very happy! They even did mini hot stone massages for us and gave us pedicure socks as a holiday gift. The salon itself is small, but cozy with classical music playing and no chemical smell at all. Can't understate how friendly and welcoming they were. I have been going here for pedicures for quite awhile. It was great. I called at 4:30 to see if there were any openings and arrived for my appointment at 5:00 and was immediately taken. The technician took great care to trim the nails and remove calluses etc. I had a wonderful massage of legs and feet. I brought my own color with me and it was just fine. Loved the final look of my toes. A few weeks ago I needed a pedicure on a Sunday and went to another large salon in Jenkintown. It was quick. Polish on and done. The salon is located on a small street in jenkintown. Parking is free across the street when school is out. The staff is friendly and your are immediately greeted when you walk in. I was in need of a toe polish change, but the pedicure chair was calling my name, so I had to get one! The water was nice and hot - the way I like it. They did a fantastic job on both my fingernails and my toenails, but I must have caught them on a bad day otherwise because they couldn't figure out my appointment no matter what they did! First they had me come back at another time. When I came back at the newly appointed time, they still didn't see me (or really acknowledge me) for another 45 minutes. After awhile, I had to tell them I was going to leave because I had a 7-week old at home and wasn't really planning to be out for so long. They then sat me down at a pedicure station, where my feet soaked for another 25 minutes. Then I asked about my manicure, and they had forgotten I wanted both. This place is absolutely wonderful. Very peaceful, friendly, and professional. My friend and I got a mani+pedi and both came out beautifully. The salon was very clean and had relaxing music playing. On mon-wed, the mani+pedi's are 10% off which was a nice surprise for our first visit. I was also pleasantly surprise to have a hot rock leg massage as well as a short hot rock massage while i was waiting for my manicure to dry. Don't go unless you have an appointment! My sister and I walked in on a Friday afternoon around 1pm for pedicures, they were busy and said that they would see one of us right away. They did a quickie job, literally 15 minutes, and charged the same amount. My sister walked in, sat down and was done before people who had already been there. It ridiculous, she said something and there response was well you didn't have an appointment. To make up for it they massaged her feet for a few minutes. After driving by this place countless times I decided to stop in for a mani pedi. The salon is small but they utilize their space well. Polish selection was decent - Essie and OPI and also Shellac and OPI gel colors - with lots of reds and pinks. Pedicure was very relaxing and included a hot stone massage. I even got a design! My gel manicure came out great too looking smooth and shiny. This place was a little more expensive than I was expecting so I certainly can't go here on the regular. The ambience of the salon is very relaxing; the salon is very well-kept and clean and they play classical music in the background. I went to this place on a whim. I got a great pedicure, complete with a nice foot massage and a free pair of pedicure socks because it was around the holidays. The salon is nice and comfortable and they treat you very well. However, I also got a gel manicure which was great for about 4 days and they started to peel off! That was my first gel manicure so I asked friends if this was a usual occurrence. They informed me that the gel manicures were supposed to last at least 2 weeks. The manicure was $30 which is expensive in my opinion, so I do not think it was worth the price. I will not be returning. read more

I went in, without an appointment, for a pedicure. I was immediately taken care of. Their regular pedicure included a hot stone massage on both my legs/feet and on my back while I was drying. The oils they used smelled so lovely. The polish choices were great and mostly all OPI and Essie. They played classical music and the atmosphere was so relaxing unlike most nail salons I'm accustomed to. I was highly impressed by this place and plan on continuing to go there for my pedicures and will try a manicure next time I go. The pedicure ($30) did cost a little more than what I usually pay but it was well worth it. The type of massage and oils they used was an added bonus that is hard to find. read more

I went there for a gel manicure and they painted them on a little grown out and barely cleaned out my cuticles. I didn't think that much of it until my friend went and got acrylics with gel. First of all they charged her $65 which is outrageous. Her nails were lumpy and poorly done. She got them put on on Wednesday and one popped off over the weekend and then several of them popped off when she was in the shower so they were all off by Monday. $65 nails didn't even last a week. I do not recommend this place. I have never seen nails that overpriced nor have I ever seen them fall off before it was even a full week. read more
