We had breakfast at Noble having included it in our hotel rate. It is a beautiful space, but unfortunately, we weren't tabled in the beautiful space we were put in a dark corner in the center of the restaurant. That was a little disappointing, but the service was excellent. As part of the hotel breakfast, you order a main course on the menu and either coffee or tea and juice. I had a bagel with smoked salmon. It was assembled into a sandwich with dill cream cheese and sliced cucumbers. Usually it is served opened faced, so it was a little difficult to eat, and I had to eat it with a fork. The fruit cup served with it was quite small. My husband had the eggs Benedict, which came with home fries. He was very satisfied with his selection. read more

Vegans - this may be the best place for an exceptional meal in the Niagara area. My partner and I ate here for dinner before taking the fireworks cruise. The evening was a lovely time to visit Niagara on the Lake and an elegant start to a fun and romantic evening. The dinner menu did not have vegan dishes clearly marked, but based on the description it was clear they had options. We called ahead to confirm and were assured the chef is able to accommodate all diets and allergies (we also eat gluten free). The Panisse chickpea dish left my partner speechless. They have been vegan for over 20 years, and have eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world including Eleven Madison Park so blowing them away is hard to do. We were thrilled to find out not only does the sorbet selection change frequently because they use the freshest ingredients available, but there was also a vegan gluten free chocolate cake. The service was very friendly. The inside of the restaurant is a little old ladyish, and the jazz music selectiondidn't really match. But still, an amazing meal all around. I had the most amazing staff and food! I was eating alone as usual and the staff was so gracious. My server Joanne was great at pacing my meal and making sure I was taken care of. The place is beautiful. The food was good but not as many choices as you would expect. However, it was annoying having someone come to the table to take away that fork and then take away that glass and are you done with this plate? Are you done with that glass continuously? Let's start with the positives: without a doubt, the hotel and decor offers a lot of charm and has been well maintained. There is a lot of detail put towards the whole dining experience from the white table cloth, detail of the wood carving, choice of lighting, style of background music, and paintings on the wall. The food is good, but I wouldn't say it is exceptional. Now onto the negatives: my main point would be a deep need for additional help with service. It was about 60% full but the service felt lop sided. Perhaps we were unfortunately seated next to a needy table which received the attention of multiple servers, but we felt short changed from what could have been a dining experience that lives up to the decor. We did not get any bread to start the meal (I read other reviews that it was good. I'm sad that we didn't get to try it), ran out of water, only checked on us at the end of the meal, did not get sugar with our coffee, and our coffee wasn't poured by our server (but anoyher server poured the coffee at the table in front of us). In total, we got checked on twice.  The table of six next to us was served at least 10 times while we were here and by at least two different servers.  A bit lop sided, no? Overall, it was nice to experience the decor. But we won't be back and since the experience is inconsistent, i'd recommend others to visit at up and coming places nearby. Sorry Noble. A beautiful restaurant that has a very elegant atmosphere with wonderful service and delicious food. The lamb burger was a bit gamey as lamb has a tendancy to be but very fresh and flavorful. The fish and chips were served in a traditional batter and flaky. They also seem to have a beautifully set up afternoon tea. The server was attentive and friendly as was the host. It sits in the Prince of Wales hotel which is quite elegant and a nice place to visit when trying to escape the high energy and crowds of Niagara falls. Wonderful ambiance! Noble is in the Prince of Wales Hotel. The old victorian hotel is beautifully kept up. We had lunch there and the menu has a nice variety to choose from. The lamb stew was delicious. The fish sandwich was delicious but a bit too greasy. The salad selection is excellent and a vegetarian or Vegan can find something to eat. The service was good but not great, I had to ask for more water. Overall, I highly recommend Noble! read more

Restaurant in the Prince of Wales hotel in Niagara on The Lake. Lots of tables and seating and several with lovely window view of the flower filled streets. Pricing is high and the food quality is decent with good portion sizes. The staff are friendly but I did not like that I was given a tarnished fork (I requested an alternate one) and there were many cob webs in the windows between the screen and glass. We had lunch..,,very few vegan and gf items. breakfast was included in our package and the chef made me gf French toast upon my request as no gf items were on the menu. It was served plain with maple syrup...no fruit on top. The room service menu stated gf French toast with peaches but our server said that was an old menu?? I would have liked peaches with it but was denied. read more

Noble is a beautiful restaurant inside the historic Prince of Wales hotel. The restaurant can be broken down into two parts. We came on a public holiday and there were decorations throughout the restaurant so we weren't sure if it was privately booked. When we spoke with the host it was just the restaurant adding some decor for New Years. He then gave us a tour of the restaurant since there are actually two different dining areas where you can take your meal. There's the dining room and the solarium and a more rustic lodge section with the bar. It was a beautiful sunny day and I couldn't resist the pull of eating in the solarium. My date and I both got the Irish Boxty which was a big potato pancake topped with pulled roasted chicken, bacon, mushrooms, and covered with a cream sauce. It was a lot lighter than it sounded but very savory all the same. Really delicious. The service was really good as well. Our waitress and hosts were super courteous and professional. I'd be happy to come back here for another meal! read more

Wow, this was by far the best place we ate at during our weekend trip to Niagara Falls. Everything about this place is elevated. The decor is absolutely gorgeous and the outside of the building is decorated with an abundance of flowers. It is so romantic. It feels like you are stepping into an old town and this restaurant within the hotel has such charm. We started our day here for breakfast before heading off to visit some wineries. Besides the setting, we had the best service! I think one of the best we've ever had at a restaurant. The waiter was so attentive and once he found out it was our anniversary and that we were on our trip to celebrate, he added the smallest details that really made the experience so special. He was friendly and spoke to us about our plans and some of the wineries, even gave some great suggestions, and added small touches like a mini plate of small desserts at the end for us and a rose for me to take with me through the day. They were small gestures but they were so important to us and it really brightened our day. It set the mood for the rest of the day! Service truly is so important when dining out. I feel so bad I can't remember his name at the moment but we had a whole conversation about how I thought he looked like Ethan Hawke and he mentioned he often gets pinned as looking like certain 90's celebrities. Hope that helps to identify him! He truly should be recognized. We mad a point to tell management that day about him but he deserves another shout out here!! So now onto the food! Everything truly was a five star experience here. I ordered the big breakfast, to help me start my day, and everything was cooked perfectly and neatly portioned so you could enjoy a sampling of the breakfast items. My husband ordered the buttermilk pancakes and I had to sneak some bites in. Definitely one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. You need to add this restaurant to your list when visiting Niagara on the lake.a must do! We will absolutely come here next time we visit! Ben our waiter was really nice and attentive. The pancakes and Eggs Benedict were to die for. The potatoes with the Eggs Benedict were somehow magical. Amazing Breakfast! The Noble Restaurant offered exceptional service and pays attention to detail! The Male Manager greeted us as we walked into the restaurant and welcomed us and even came by our table during breakfast to check that we were enjoying our Breakfast which was a very nice touch at this high end restaurant. We booked to have lunch on open tabl, when we arrived, we waited at the small side entrance for 10 minutes while the server was chatting 5m away from us completely ignoring us, then seated us, then left us for 15 minutes before coming to take our order so we said we do not have a menu!! Another 5 minutes, then they brought us the menu, it was limited, so unless you want over priced fish and chips,go somewhere else, after waiting with kids, for 25 minutes to be served, we decided to leave. On our way from Buffalo, NY to Toronto, Canada my friend and I stopped for lunch at the Prince of Wales, Nobel Restaurant. It was one of the best indulgences we could have made. First, the hotel is gorgeous, at least viewing it on the main floor. It does have that old-world charm which is so appealing, including the stained-glass mural, sculptures, and art. The Noble Restaurant t is lovely. We sat in the conservatory area next to the windows since it was such a perfect day out. Our wait staff was Juan Carlos and Lily, and I can't say enough about them. They were courteous, friendly, and very efficient. I also wish to compliment the chef for being able to adjust my dish so as to leave out the mushrooms, to which I am highly allergic. Now the important part...We started by splitting an order of Churchill's Caesar Salad (Romaine Lettuce, Blonde Frisée, Crispy Bacon, Shaved Parmesan, White Anchovies, House Made Dressing & Ancient Grain Croutons). It truly was the best Ceasar Salad I've ever had. The dressing was perfect. My friend then ordered the Atlantic Haddock & Chips(Oast House Beer Battered Premium Haddock with Lemon Caper Tartar Sauce & Fresh Cut Fries) which was very good. However, I had the Prince Edward Island Mussels (Chardonnay, Leeks, Cream, French Tarragon, White Mushrooms & Crusty Bread) sans mushrooms. It was heaven on a plate. One wanted to swim in the sauce. If we were to have a complaint, it would only be that we were too full to order dessert. But I seriously would highly recommend stopping here. Forget going to the tea, come for the lunch! read more

I like the cozy ambience in the bar. The food and service not so much. We ordered burgers ($19) and asked for them to be cooked the least amount legally possible, as the waiter advised us they only serve medium-well cooked burgers. The burgers were cooked to a hard black/brown crust and dry, gray interior. They had about as much flavor as a hockey puck. The burgers were served on a nice toasted bun, but with no butter or any other condiments (well, there was a little tomato and lettuce), so they were very dry. We asked our waiter for condiments and waited and waited and waited. Finally, My friend jumped up and ran down a waiter to get some badly needed condiments. I will say that the french fries that came with my sandwich were really good -- nice and crispy. That was a nice touch. My other friend wisely got the fish 'n' chip special, which looked quite acceptable. read more

More of a 2 1/2 stars for me. Our experience here definitely had it's ups and downs. The service, while super friendly and very helpful, was *painfully* slow (We arrived at 7 and left after 9:30). The appetizers were delicious, but the mains just OK, and our deserts were very disappointing. I wouldn't return. read more

Very pleasant, if expensive, restaurant for breakfast, served daily. The coffee was pretty good, as was the cappuccino. My wife's feta kale omelette was delicious, as was my Benedict. Potatoes are good! Most breakfasts come with a small but tasty fruit salad, which is not merely a garnish like it is at so many other brunch spots. Might do again on our next trip as a treat, but wouldn't do more than once a trip because of the prices. read more

Made reservations for 6:30, arrived a few minutes before, had a terrific dinner, as always -- the tasting menu with wine paring -- and excellent service. Everything was perfect. Then I found a scolding note from Open Table the next morning claiming that we missed our reservation. This leaves a bad taste. We spend $364 (Canadian) for two, and get scolded for not being there?
