This cute corner spot on Purdy Ave- off Purchase St, in posh Rye, NY, bills itself as a bakery- but you can also get coffee and other non-coffee beverages such as Golden Milk, Chai, Hot Chocolate (don't know what it tastes like), etc. Specializing in pies, you can find savory and sweet types here. I thought I was safe by coming here at 9:10am- and since hours on their website, Google AND Yelp are listed as 8am, I was safe. Right? No. While the high schooler was pleasant, she was just opening up when I got here. She did triple-duty as she made my iced chai (their frother/machine 'wasn't hot yet', rang me up+bagged my items AND opened boxes to remove pies and fill up their respective sections in the glass covered counter. There was no way of knowing what's what except for the pie cards. I got a Vegetarian Quiche with goat and Swiss cheeses+ Sun-dried tomatoes+ onions+etc and a mini 'Dirt' Chocolate pie from the fridge. Best of the best? No. While I loved the puddin-y chocolate filling in my mini pie, the cream piping didn't give me that 'creamy', fresh whip cream taste- plus the crust didn't help. My Vegetable Quiche filling was also rich tasting- had a wonderful melty feel with the Swiss and goat cheeses when I popped it in the oven at home. But again, their crust doesn't flaunt that all-butter pie crust recipe and tastes oily. Butter isn't at the heart of their pies. The $29.50 I paid for the large Veggie Quiche was mind-boggling and the $16 for the Dirt Chocolate Pie wasn't worth it either. I can almost see why folks feel Noble Pies is firing on all cylinders- but to me, it's all about the butter- which isn't in their crust. read more

I stopped in for the first time to check out Noble pies. Wow everything looked amazing. The people working there were so nice, and greeted us warmly. They made their recommendations and we chose a mixed berry pie, an apple pie with crumb topping and a cherry pie. We also had to have a couple of scones to take home, A sun-dried tomato scone and a raspberry chocolate scone. First, we broke into the scones which were buttery and had good chocolate raspberry flavor. Very fresh. And now for the pie! I loved the mixed berry pie, it had a nice tart flavor it was done perfectly. The crust was crisp and unlike usual pies that have soggy bottoms, this one didn't! I also loved the apple crumb topping pie that had chunks of apple that still had some bite to them. I hate pie with mushy apples inside. This one was perfect! If you are a pie lover I highly recommend Noble Pies! They have a great variety of fruit and savory pies and you can't go wrong with either! I bought their chicken pot pie and their Hudson Valley apple pie! The chicken pot pie came in clutch and was a huge hit with the family on a day when I was too busy to make dinner!! It was delicious, the crust was super flakey and the filling was outstanding, packed with many pieces of chicken and veggies and it had nice creamy sauce with great flavors! That Hudson Valley Apple Pie was super delicious, especially after it was warmed up with some ice cream! My diet wasn't happy, but I sure was and the kids loved it! Great service and friendly staff! The pies are okay. But the bottom line is, your pies will NEVER EVER be ready on time. Twice they have fully not made what I ordered. And no one will ever call to let you know they are running behind. You show up on time, and they say oh sorry it's actually hours later. Just today, right before Christmas I drove 25 minutes to pick up pies, as usual they were not ready. "Oh yeah well we tried to call everyone but I guess we didn't." And that's that. Although we could not get our pies the day we needed them, Zach came through the following week. He had the order delivered to our house with some extra treats including a delicious mini Apple Pie. All the pies were delicious. We has reassured me that he will be retraining the staff to provide improved customer service. He clearly takes pride in his product and wants to provide excellent customer service. Stopped in here to get a few pies. And the first thing I noticed was the lack of professionalism/rudeness of the cashier. The cashier was serving another customer and looked at me and said "know what you want?" - as opposed to something polite like "Hi, may I help you?". Body language and attitude galore. It went downhill from there. When I asked for a whole mixed berry pie. He said - Oh we don't have that. I was staring right at a sign that said 'Mixed Berry Pie" and there was...a mixed berry pie right next to the sign. He then claimed that they only are sold by the slice but he would make an exception (oh gee thanks). The counter was disorganized and filthy -open Tums bottle, used tissues, unfinished snacks, etc. Reminded me of a bodega. As for berry pie -- soggy crust, overly processed filling. My partner gagged on the undercooked, soggy vegetable quiche. Totally gross. If you consider yourself a fan or even a connoisseur of pies, take a pass on Noble Pies. Stopped by here this week. Ordered a slice of the Chicken Pot Pie, a slice of the Buffalo Chicken Pot Pie, and a slice of the Crumb Cherry Pie. I rarely write reviews like this, but I can't find anything wrong with any of them. Really enjoyed them all, especially the Cherry Pie which was amazing. All priced pretty reasonably. I would always prefer fresh pies like this vs. buying it frozen or buying a fruit pie already packaged from a supermarket. I wish I lived closer to this place. Highly recommend it. read more

I purchased 2 pies for Thanksgiving, pumpkin and chocolate. I paid $64 for the 2 pies and they were not good at all. The filling was ok but the crust was just raw. My first and last time purchasing. Save your money and purchase from your local supermarket. You will definitely get better quality than Noble Pies. read more

We are big fans of Warwick, NY and go there for little getaways when we can. That's where we fell in love with Noble Pies. They are excellent and we were thrilled when they opened their official second location by us. It might just be growing pains since this location is fairly new, but the only complaint I really have is operational. They are on various delivery sites (Uber eats, Door Dash) but don't seem to understand how to work with them. They don't update when an item is sold out or out of stock and, at least 12 times now (so it's not a fluke) I've tried to order for occasions / having people over only to have the whole order cancelled because something was missing (instead of calling me to say "hey we are missing this do you want something else instead?). It's poor business and I hope they figure this out because their product and their shop are great. read more

I bought my first pie from here this morning - a small Hudson apple pie. Absolutely delicious! There are nice chunks of apple with some crunch in it, and a great crispy crust. The staff was quite friendly and engaging, and I will definitely return to try some other pies. read more

I've enjoyed everything I've had there but really love the sweet pies. Cherry is my fav. Not overly sweet and buttery, flaky crust.

We ordered a Pumpkin Pie for our family on Thanksgiving. When we opened the pie and tried to cut a piece of it... the crust stuck to the pie plate and was raw. The filling did not taste good... When we sent an email without any response back. We spoke to an employee who really didn't care too much & said send an email. We will never go back to or order again from Noble Pies, in Rye or any other location. read more

The pies here are TERRIBLE!!! The berry pie is fine. But the other two we were awful. The banana cream pie is one of the worst I've ever had. It tasted sour and rotted. But the chocolate dirt pie is one of the worst things I've ever had. First of all, why would you name a pie after dirt??? Also, for some odd reason it tasted like...soy sauce. It was bitter and odd tasting. I will not be recommending this place to anyone and in fact think this place shouldn't be allowed to make their so called "pies." DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! read more
