The pie here can be pretty pricey but it's worth it. The pumpkin pie that we got were absolutely delicious. The staff here were also friendly and polite. Great pie selection!

I've enjoyed everything I've had there but really love the sweet pies. Cherry is my fav. Not overly sweet and buttery, flaky crust.

I spent 50$ there and everything tasted a few days old. The smell of the quiche reheated was inedible, smelled gamey. the cake tasted old. theres not labels above and below all of the food and pastry options so I dont know what anything is. there was no coffee drinks menu but teas were randomly written on a piece of paper. they should redo menu, make it clearer, offer less options that are all fresher. salads are great, sandwiches are great, flatbreads are great. Fill in the holes of what nc really needs, they shouldn't sell muffins with Rosies next door, you cant even compete, stick to what youre good at or where theres a hole in the market, for example NC has no donut shop, serve those to stand out.

I am a fan of the pandan flavor desserts and bought two that I wanted to try. One being a roll cake and the other layer cake. The pandan roll cake with taro I was told is a specialty that they only have on weekends. It was really flavorful, moist and spongy, just perfectly touched with a dash of sweetness in both the cake and the cream - I personally don't like overly sweet foods, and this is just perfect for me and my mom. I'm equally pleased with the layer cake as well it was very fresh and have that "QQ" texture - deliciously chewy and bouncy. This too, just hit right for me on the gentle sweetness, the pandan flavor keeping the spotlight in this dessert. My mom and I are big fans of these desserts. We just came back trying out others pandan layer cakes in Downtown Flushing and this shop beats them by a large margin. I hope to come back more when we could even though this shop is quite a distance for us.

The bakery itself is clean and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to browse and enjoy treats. Overall, Shinpuru Baking delivers top-quality baked goods and excellent service. I'll definitely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves fresh, tasty pastries.

No. Hard no…read more "Do you make the cookies in house?" "No, but they're hand made by bakers" By who? The continental cookie company? The first bite you knew exactly what you just got ripped off for. The staff, was rude. "The ingredients are flown in from Europe and the cookies are handmade in the city" are you sure? "do you think I'm lying?" With an attitude? Well. Yes. In fact do less. Because if the ingredients are flown in from Europe they should know what they're doing with them because these my dear are from the continental cookie company. But don't bark at me when it's the single most dry cookie I've ever attempted to eat. The raspberry jam was so artificial. For 43.00 a pound at least get GOOD bulk cookies. Because for an employee to be as nasty and defensive but have an answer for everything? Just say you were wrong and move on, nope you wanted to argue. Brunette, glove on, to serve the dry cookies, only to then touch the lids with said glove between. Took cash while wearing glove, made change (23.00 for 5 small cookies and 2 small coffees) and then with the same hand put the cookies in a bag, while with the glove fiddling with stickers to close the bag. 7.50+ each for small coffees (one latte one cappuccino) neither made properly. An amalgamation of crumpled sugar packets that look like they'd been taken from other establishments stuffed in a small tin on the counter. You want to be some form of Parisian patisserie? Pretend better. Over priced and the entire case looks awful and if you're going to employ people who would rather play on their phone than do their job? At least make sure they can be composed. The young blonde was polite and kind throughout, the dark haired employee? Thankyou for telling us you're not the owner, because the owner should really evaluate your customer service. Needless to say we went back in to return the cookies because the one my husband choked down was enough but the abhorrent attitude solidified this being a terrible experience.

I was pleasantly surprised by how rich and nutty all the black sesame flavors were, and that's high praise coming from me because I grew up eating a lot of black sesame desserts in Asia. *Black Sesame Mochi Cake $18.99 I got this mini whole cake for my birthday. Perfect size for a small household (around 3 to 4 slices). I just wish the chiffon had a stronger black sesame flavor, and I would've loved even more mochi and black sesame lava inside. *Black Sesame Puff Square $6.95 HUGE and such a good value for the size. It's a croissant cube with black sesame butter swirled all throughout the loaf. The inside pulled apart easily like fluffy milk bread, while the outside stayed crispy and buttery like a croissant. I could not stop tearing off piece after piece. *Black Sesame Latte $6.99 The black sesame latte was SO GOOD I got it twice in one week. It had this super nutty black sesame cream foam over a black sesame milk base, and I could actually taste both the rich sesame flavor and the coffee.

I ordered the orange, mango and mushroom suisse. There was a bit of a wait for the orders but it wasn't too bad. The cakes were secure in mini boxes and everything was packed into a nice paper tote bag for take out. The desserts were very delicate upon first glance but also easy to break apart (so things got a bit messy). The orange dessert had a more mellow and lighter flavor compared to the mango one. It had a orange mandarin jam center covered with a vanilla cream layer. I didn't really care too much for the chocolate rice crisp bottom layer. The leaves were maybe peppermint though if it was mint then that would make the whole dish edible. The mango dessert was sweeter than the orange one. The mango jam filling was sweet and had a few pieces of mango that were a bit sour but didn't take away from the overall sweet mango flavor. The cream covering the jam must've also been mango flavored. I really liked the mushroom suisse! I reheated it in the microwave for a bit before eating it. I loved the crispy exterior as it contrasted well with the softness of the puff pastry middle. The mushroom filling was also tasty as it reminded me a bit of cream of mushroom soup. I'll be giving their other savory pastries a try during my next visit. FYI, if posting on socials for the complimentary pastry, do so before ordering.

There is seating avaible to enjoy your coffee or cornetto. The products are all thoughtfully displayed and the service was genuinely friendly and upbeat. The cornetto with him and cheese was a simple and delicious sandwich. The bomboloni (1 pistachio and 1 lemon) were light and decadent at the same time, with a creamy custard like filling with subtle tastes of lemon and pistachio. I will be coming back for these. The garlic sourdough was filled with whole garlic gloves baked in with a nice chewy outside crust and soft inside. The country sourdough was equally amazing. Both great for dipping, sandwiches, toast, or simply spreading with a good quality butter or jam. There are no preservatives or artificial ingredients and all is made by hand. Right off the Post Rd in Westport with a small parking lot shared with other businesses. I highly recommend and will be a regular!
