TOP NOTCH, every bit of it! Josue was a very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The macaroni is a MUST and the brisket was also delicious! I snagged a banana pudding to go as well, can't wait to try it. Ps- I used to work for The Monks, I loved seeing the hat tips all over.

This location in the Optimist food hall we pretty good and the main reason I went to the Optimist Hall. The reviews of the Pessimist Food Hall weren't that great, so I made the right choice coming here. I am always on a quest for melt-in-your-mouth, moist, flavorful beef brisket and this hit all the marks. It pulled apart like an accordion (the first sign of deliciousness), had a beautiful pink smoke ring, and not too much or too little fat. Yaas! 5 Stars on the brisket, but you do pay a premium for it. They don't have any type of combo platter or anything, and you just order everything a la carte. That's why it adds up. It's probably the first BBQ place I've been to which does that. I added a Pork Taco ($4), Banana Pudding ($5), Mac N Cheese ($5) to my $12 Brisket (1/4 lb) and that adds up, especially with a fountain soda pop (which had free refills so that was good). $30 Lunch? Everything was good but you do need to be a Noble Aristocrat type to make many return visits. It's aptly named due to the price!

We shared a brisket sandwich with fries, and some sliced turkey and coleslaw. We also tried the macaroni and cheese which was the best I've ever had. Everything was delicious.

Came in for a late dinner to unfortunately find they were out of brisket, wings, and mac & cheese. I ended up ordering the pulled chicken and a side of fries. Everything here is à la carte and they don't provide the usual BBQ extras like pickles or bread. My food was ready in about three minutes, which was impressively fast. The pulled chicken was flavorful and enjoyable, but the fries were underwhelming. They were lukewarm, like they had been sitting out for a while. Would come back earlier next time to try their brisket!

Noble Smoke located in the Optimist food court Charlotte NC. Food: The smoke turkey is the star, juicy and tender with a light hint of smoke. The brisket was tender and what you expect your brisket to taste like however in this instant the fat cap was extra thick. The pulled Chicken was dry... I tried to eat it with the sides nevertheless just couldn't finish it. Service: The people behind the counter were so friendly and patient, they took the time to answer our questions also let us do a couple substitutions. Ambiance: Noble Smoke is in a huge food court with plenty of indoor/outdoor seating, serving all different kinds of food.

I was looking forward to a nice brisket lunch. When I placed my order for brisket I was truly disappointed to find one slice of meat in a covered container. $12.00 for this one slice! The taste was good with their sauce but it was a bit fatty. It's unfortunate. They should set the expectation when ordering. Never again.

What to choose ..what to choose...optimist hall has a lot of interesting venders to pick from. This time I went with the classic noble smoke. I've never had this location, we frequent the one off of freedom drive. I appreciate that this smaller installment offers 1/2 pounds of ribs which the other location doesn't. They were amazing as always and a nice treat, I probably wouldn't do this often because it is 14 dollars for just 3 ribs. But nonetheless the ribs were fall off the bone and Smokey delicious. The Brussel sprouts were lacking seasoning and weren't as crispy as I hoped for, but were still good. Fries were good and well seasoned as always.

You could easily slap somebody over this food I God the pulled chicken sandwich, Mac and Cheese, and Brussels. The Mac picture looks underwhelming, but it is packed with flavor. Several sauce a to choose from to elevate your meal. Would definitely go again!

Noble Smoke in Optimist Hall was great. Fast and courteous service. Self-serve drink station. Excellent smoky pork on a soft bun. Creamy, sweet white slaw. Thanksgiving-level macaroni and cheese. Super sweet tea. Great vibes in the Adirondack chairs outside on the turf. All-around excellent experience.

visited the noble smoke in optimist hall today, service was quick & the cashier was very helpful with suggestions on what to order. our food came out in under five minutes and we sat at the counter where the food is also served. it was nice that they had counter space specifically for their patrons, because it can be hard to find a table in optimist on a busy day. what we ordered: brisket sandwiches- delicious flavorful, tender brisket on a soft bun. complimented by their signature bbq sauces. really good! collards- a tad bit sweet, but good if that's what you're into mac & cheese- not my favorite mac & cheese, this was just ok. not solid enough for a baked mac to me. banana pudding- 10/10 sooooooo good! if you get anything from this review, get the banana pudding!

Really good sides and sauces. Could use a little more seasoning but beyond that overall a true 4 out of 5

Kudos to the chef. Only negative is they offer a whipped spread instead of real butter. Delicious pancakes deserve good butter. I asked for real butter and all they had was honey butter. Do not sleep on asking for it. While it still spread, the honey makes it much better.

When we pulled up, there was a police outside, which didn't bother us. If anything, it made things feel more secure. They also use a metal detector when you walk in before being seated. Don't let that scare you off though -- this place is a well-oiled machine and everything felt organized and under control. Our server was fantastic: calm, attentive, and never pushy. I ordered the country fried steak with collards and mashed potatoes with gravy, and my husband got a burger. My meal was excellent, and it came with a perfectly flaky biscuit. The tea was Southern SWEET tea, too. My husband said his burger was good for a diner, fresh vegetables and the fries were seasoned well. The diner itself is adorable, full of character and charm. Overall, we had a great experience and would absolutely come back.

I left my name and number in case they found it but I wasn't hopeful and was leaving town the next day. Eric found it and gave me a call a couple hours later. He even offered to run it out to me if I called and let them know I was near so we wouldn't have to deal with parking. I've never had a server go above and beyond like this. DO NOT GO! AVOID - Worst Dining Experience I've Ever Had…read more Do you want a bad time? Come here! If you are looking to ruin your night, this is the place to do it. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you take your business elsewhere. We ended up leaving after 90 minutes of pure frustration. We had no food, were being dripped on by a leak in the ceiling, received terrible service, and were served the wrong drinks. Here is the breakdown of why this place is a disaster: Poor Beginning: It took 10 minutes to be seated, which was understandable given the concert nearby. However, once seated, we sat for another 20 minutes before even getting water. I watched our waiter visit every surrounding table while what felt like he was pointedly ignoring ours. Seating: as our waiter brought our water and took our drink order, something started dripping on me. The waiter caught it and we also shortly after called it out as it continued requesting a new seat. They said we'll look to move you. Fast forward 30 minutes, the waiter said he's waiting for a table in his section to open up to MOVE ME FROM THE DRIPPING WATER. He prioritized his payout over our comfort, and we were never moved. Drinks: It took 30 minutes to get our drinks, even though I could see them sitting at the bar for at least 15 minutes while our waiter chatted with other tables. To top it off, my boyfriend was served the wrong beer, but the service was so slow we didn't even bother asking for a correction. Food: We ordered a starter early on as we were starving, but it never arrived. To make matters worse, a table of ten seated next to us ordered their mains, ate, and paid their tab before our starter ever showed up. We eventually decided to just leave rather than wait for the appetizer we never received. The only "positive" was that the manager eventually comped our two drinks, but even that took 10 minutes to process while we were trying to pay our tab and escape. Save your time and go literally anywhere else.

The staff stood out, both our waitress and the other waiters were very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. We ordered a mix of food for the table: tacos, fried pickles, steak and fries, cauliflower, and a burger. The highlights for us were definitely the fried pickles and the cauliflower--both were good and something I'd come back for. Everything else was just alright, hence the reason I deducted a star. We also loved that there was a pool table it added a lot to the experience but I do wish it was free instead of $2 a game. Still, not a dealbreaker. Overall, it's a great spot with a fun atmosphere, good food, and attentive service. Definitely worth checking out, especially for trivia night.

The food was classic bar fare, but made with noticeably fresh ingredients. I had the chicken tenders with buffalo sauce. They were perfectly crispy, flavorful, and clearly just made. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality. There were TVs throughout the space showing live soccer games, which added a nice vibe without being too loud or distracting. Even during lunch hours, it wasn't crowded or overly noisy, just a great place to relax and enjoy a tasty meal. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
