As it can be crowded, the noise level can be high. Yet it has -- usually -- excellent food. It's breakfast menu is extensive. We visit Rick's often,as it feels right. Totally unpretentious. Sadly on our most recent visit the poa he'd eggs were overcooked. Our waitress, Amy, noticed and immediately offered to replace them. Not wishing to waste food, we declined. The accompanying corned beef hash was tasty. We'll go back again and again. We just like Rick's.

The pork belly bites were one of the best appetizers I've ever eaten. Biscuits and gravy were familiar, and decidedly tasty. Then there was the nachos. Prepared in a cast iron skillet, they were unlike any nachos I've ever had. Pretty much needed to eat them with a fork. Flavors were as unfamiliar as the look, but we loved them. The corned beef sandwich was almost too thick to bite. While the sandwich was as the menu described, the homemade beef was vey special. The hangover fried rice did have rice and I assume it was fried, but that's where the resemblance to traditional fried rice ends. Perhaps more of a savory casserole.
