I took my 350Z in for an oil change and Sean was able to accommodate me right when I called. I told him I also needed some windshield wipers and he actually ordered them as soon as we got off the phone and the parts delivery driver arrived shortly after I pulled my car into his shop. Make sure you talk to him if you get lost; his shop is a short driveway off the street behind some buildings there. So the parts being delivered so promptly immediately told me he took my business seriously and wished to handle things with the utmost care. Even though the work I had him do today was quick with just an oil change and change of wipers, he told me about my brake pads and rotors and recommended a time to have them taken care of with a quick cursory inspection. He even went an extra two miles to email me a quote on that cost so I would have something to plan with. Sean certainly knows his stuff with his vehicles and he did his work diligently. I am without a doubt going to be taking my car to him from now on. Not just his technical skill was on display, but he was very easy going and nice to get along with; I always appreciate a mechanic who is willing to explain anything I may have a question on. I couldn't recommend this enough! I got a quote to get some work done on my Infiniti from the dealership here in town that came out to over $2,400. I called Nobori for a second quote and he came in WELL under half that price. The work was high quality, it was finished quickly, and he'll have my business for a long time to come. Cherry on top, the dealership had quoted me $350 for some work that he was going to be able to do for less than 1/3 the cost, but even at that he told me the work wasn't actually necessary and those parts likely had at least a few more years left. I finally found a GREAT mechanic. Like, super-great. An ACTUAL mechanic who takes the time to explain everything, knows what he's doing, and is super fair. It took him 24 hours longer than he estimated to replace the clutch in my 98 Isuzu - long story but it wasn't his fault and he gave me a 15% discount because he felt so bad that it took so long. Fantastic mechanic. I was coming from a different shop that had messed up my brakes. I really appreciated that Sean was ready to jump on the car and let me show him the issue. Not only he identified the problem right away, but he also explained me where the pulsation was coming from and made sure I could understand it. As much as I would love to provide an amazing rating, they were not able to accommodate my request. In addition, there were parts of the discussion that made me feel they are a bit shady. For example: Timing belt broke. His answer was yes, we can fix it. I then asked how he would fix it and he told me they would put on a new one and try to start it. I have a Honda which has an interference engine and he didn't once mention a concern about it until I asked him. So basically he would allow me to pay $100 for the belt and the $600 for the labor but he wouldn't actually check the valves & pistons to make sure they are ok. This was concerning. To end the conversation, he said they suggest another mechanic/ machine shop as they would do an engine swap if the valves were bent. The whole situation sounds a bit off to me. A mechanic is a mechanic. From what I read the business is 'auto repair' not 'lube shop', so I'm not exactly sure why it turned out as it did. Needless to say, I feel very confident in one thing: not taking my car there. The two stars is because Sean is nice and VERY responsive. I'm sure he is very capable to do most basic jobs, but not advanced ones. read more

He was professional and efficient. I had to get my alignment elsewhere after getting my axle replaced. The pricing fit the services provided. The guys who did my alignment specifically told me to leave a good review. Apparently, he made their job really easy by doing it the right way and leaving everything where it belonged for a faster alignment. They told me it might take longer to get it done because of the age of my truck. Then they called me back about 20 minutes after a 10 minute walk home to let me know they were already done. Incredible. I am very impressed by the quality of his service and the depth of his knowledge. My car's check engine light was on, I took it to my regular car repair shop, they checked the code and told me they don't work on turbo and they didn't know why my light was on (I have an Acura) and suggested me to go to the dealer. A friend of mine suggested me to call Sean at 1024 so I did. I took the car to his house and he asked me what was done to the car in my last trip to the shop and looked at my car right away. Well, he found the problem and fixed it right away. My regular car repair shop didn't do their job right and thus, my car problems. And Sean charged me very reasonable price. It would have caused me a fortune to go to the dealer. I am glad I found Sean. He specializes in Japanese import so I plan to use him for all my car needs. read more

I had just purchased the top of the line dodge 1500 Longhorn edition with every option imaginable. As I drove home with my ventilated seats keeping me cool, all the guys I passed turned their heads and swooned. As I got home and opened the door the deployable running boards with LED lighting zipped out from under the truck allowing me an easy egress to the garage floor below. I closed the door and touched the button on the door handle and everything locked up tight including the RamBoxes holding all my gear. Smiling I entered the house and beckoned my wife to come check out the new ride. After a cursory review she discovered that my mirrors didn't automatically move in or out to accommodate ease of parking or going through the car wash. What? Sean is an awesome person and a great mechanic! I contacted him before a big trip across the country after a big tires company advised my to do around $1000 of fixings on my suspensions, and while my car was still shaking after tires replacement and alignments. Well, I still have the same suspensions, but Sean did replace my faulty brakes for $300, gave me the best advices I never had on my car and I made it from Salt Lake to New York like a charm. I really loved the unique attention I received, which is pretty unusual in my experience with car repairs. Sean, the owner, is an honest and hardworking guy. He was able to answer all my questions about my oil change and actually took the time to explain how the engine worked and teach me about my car. The prices were much lower than the at chain oil change shops, and he didn't try to upsale me or provide any services beyond what I needed.
