This place is a utopia during the slower seasons. We came during the beginning of August and it felt like everyday was crafted for us. The minimal amount of guests there made it feel inclusive but also exclusive. We were provided a personal concierge, but they had the incorrect telephone number, so we didn't receive anything until mid-trip when they contacted the room. We stayed here for 5 days and originally started in a king piscina privada which was very gorgeous and the private pool was a great addition to the room for morning yoga and late laps. Unfortunately during my stay, cleaning had missed a few shards of broken glass from the guests prior, and I sliced open a toe. Medical came and they were quick and attentive to clean it, as well as schedule a deep clean for the room the very next afternoon while we were at the spa. Sadly after the spa visit we came back and where the room was reset, there were still puddles of blood on the patio, so I didn't feel as though it was cleaned outside at all. Expressing this concern the manager Daniela offered an upgrade to the Junior Suite to ensure safety and that the prior room would be thoroughly inspected. Ambiance/Aesthetic: 11/10 Nobu Cabo San Lucas is one of one the prettiest aesthetics I've ever seen. Very Japanese minimalistic but also very upscale and neutral tones. Ambiance is upscale with everyone to themselves and there to enjoy their time, overall very quiet and peaceful. Service: is either 100/10 or a 6/10 no in-between: Majority of the staff is super attentive and kind going way above, and beyond greeting you at every point of contact and walking you to anything you're looking for. However the 6/10 came in as there were a pockets of miscommunication and a handful of rushing to other reservations. Daniela was a 100/10 Spa: 9.5/10 - services were amazing and they recommended to not use the hydrotherapy services after the facial so they allowed us to come back the next day. Pools: 9.5/10 - the pools were perfect temperature and there are multiple, and one with a swim up bar. There's an adult only pool closer towards the beach that does require reservations, which can be set with your personal concierge. Ardea Steakhouse: 9/10 - Everything we ordered was delicious, but there were quite a few rambunctious kids that night so the ambiance was a bit different. We had 11 courses so I'll highlight the notable below Braised short rib: 9.5/10 - really the star of the restaurant presentation was amazing, and very robust with flavor. Beef carpaccio: 9/10 - great starter, the fried cheeseballs are delicious. Baked oysters: 9/10- perfectly cooked and not overly brined Cro-muffin: 9/10 - amuse-bouche was so flakey, savory, and delicious

The trip me and my boyfriend took for Valentine's Day was amazing! Obviously this is an expensive hotel (which some of the reviews highlight as a downside but is this not obvious?) but I think it was well worth the splurge and the person who paid for the entire thing agrees. Special thanks to our hosts Salvador and Ted who helped organized all rides to and from airport, rides to and from town, and other activities like ATV. They were extremely helpful! And our favorite pool staff Alejandro, who was so sweet and made our trip truly unforgettable. The food is incredible with one miss. The one restaurant we didn't care for was Ardea, the food felt heavy and the flavor was lacking. As for the rest, 10/10. Even the pool side food/ bar was a 10. Fresh healthy food that always tasted amazing. Not to mention all restaurant staff were incredible. The pool was perfect: beautiful, fun, and unforgettable. The staff would greet me, help me move and set up all my belongings and my umbrella and bring fresh ice water and bucket too. They were always attentive and sweet even learning my name after one day . I won't forget any of the pool staff, they really made this hotel feel very homey. The views and architecture are to die for. Everywhere looks like it came right out of a magazine and is extremely clean and always well cared for. The ocean and pool views were bright and inspiring, clashing with the modern architecture and flourishing botany. Lastly the spa experience was incredible, but don't make our mistake and come late! The massage was heavenly, and they took great care of us. The steam room , sauna , and pools were all so relaxing clean and beautiful. Overall this trip was straight out of my dreams and I'd come back in a heart beat, if my boyfriend ever decides to make that move again. But he's already expressed he will!

I love Nobu and this particular location is so remote they have a hotel and a Hard Rock on the same property. It is a solid 40 minute Uber ride from Pedregal so be prepared for an adventure driving through the streets of Cabo. It's less than 8 miles but the roads are pretty rough. If you're staying here, it's a beautiful restaurant so you don't have to worry about anything. It was dark so I couldn't enjoy the ocean view. The hostess seemed sweet and sat us outside. The food is always delicious and my 2 favorite dishes, gluten free Nobu style salmon sashimi and spicy tuna off the crispy rice were perfect. The service was sorely lacking and our waiter couldn't wait to clock out. None of the employees had the cheerful Nobu attitude and that was disappointing. They were just doing their job and still expected a big tip. I probably wouldn't come back unless I stayed at The Nobu Hotel or the Hard Rock which is also on this gorgeous area.

The bottom line is that this place is way overpriced. There was a leaking faucet and broken TP holder in our room. Service was not attentive. At the pool, many staff members who were servers were just standing around and after no one came to ask if we wanted anything (which we did), I asked one if I could get a menu, and was told to wait for the waiter assigned to my region of the pool. I proceeded to wait another 10 min, and still no one came, but there were 3 servers a mere 20 feet from me. When I asked if I could just get a menu while I waited for whoever was assigned to my area, I was again told to wait. I waited another 10 min, and since I had a 2 year old who was very hungry, I went to the bar to go and get a menu for myself and ordered the food there. I got a mini pizza and poke bowl, and when the outrageous $70 check came with an automatic added gratuity, which was so frustrating because I would not have given any gratuity for the junky service. It looks esthetically nice and it is very quiet. No activities, so although it says family-friendly, it really isn't. I would not go back

Update (August 2025): After my original review, I reached out directly to Nobu Hotels corporate with full details of my stay, including photo evidence of the stained sheets and a clear timeline of events. Unfortunately, corporate reviewed my case and informed me they would not offer any compensation beyond the room upgrade I received at the time even though that upgrade came only after I spent over six hours waiting for a clean room following the incident. They mentioned they would "check with their insurer," but ultimately told me there was nothing more they could do. I had hoped a brand like Nobu, known for its high standards and guest care, would take more ownership of such a serious lapse in cleanliness and service. Sadly, this was not the case. The lack of accountability from both the property and corporate confirms that my experience was not just an isolated mishap but a failure in how guest concerns are handled at the highest level.

The resort itself is a beautiful and well-maintained property. The staff was great for the most part, but the food was lacking quality. Our pre-arrival concierge was great, but the second we checked out and made comments about our concerns with our stay and our billing, well crickets to date. I had high expectations for my recent stay at Nobu Hotel, but unfortunately, the experience did not align with the price point. The property itself is attractive, but overall I found the stay to be overpriced for the quality delivered. The dining experience was underwhelming. Given Nobu's reputation, I anticipated exceptional food, but what was served did not meet the standard one would expect at this level of hospitality. We have dined at several American Nobu locations and felt this location left us feeling flat. The quality and quantity were both lacking. Additionally, the atmosphere during our visit was not conducive to the kind of relaxing, upscale environment I was hoping for. A large private event was taking place, and the noise, crowd behavior, and energy of the gathering carried heavily into the shared spaces of the hotel, especially the pools. The environment was very loud, with unsupervised children and families creating a disruptive experience. Instead of the calm, refined setting I had expected, the noise level made it difficult to relax and enjoy the amenities. While I appreciate that events bring life to a property, in this case, it significantly detracted from my overall experience as a paying guest. Unless stronger management of shared spaces is implemented, it will be difficult to justify returning. I would encourage the hotel to consider how to balance private events with the expectations of other guests, particularly when the cost of the stay sets a very high bar. Also, we experienced ongoing confusion with billing. Each day, multiple charges, billings, and holdbacks were posted to my account, making it very unclear what my actual final bill would be. While I understand that hotels may place temporary holds, the frequency and lack of transparency created unnecessary frustration and made it difficult to track expenses. For guests, it's important to have a clear, consolidated view of charges to avoid misunderstandings and we are still unclear as to charges, versus holdback and our final billing amount.

Absolutely adored the hotel, but I would stay away from the food and personally I did not enjoy the Nobu lobby. The good: Service: Stellar - immediately upon stepping on their hotel grounds, you are greeted by their friendly staff and welcomed with a wet towel to wipe off any sweat & offered a very delicious and refreshing matcha lemonade to quench your thirst - My concierge at NOBU assisted with coordinating getting us to and from restaurants, events, and even drove us in a golf cart upon request. Stephano always tried to do whatever he could to assist and I never heard "no" throughout our week long stay. We got his direct number to text him no matter if it was after dinner or during the day, and we never had to wait more than 20mins for a reply back to the text. The grounds: Beautiful and zen - concept is minimalist Japanese/Scandinavian style - one con if waking a lot is a problem (but is a pro if you want peace & quiet) is that everything is so far from each other. Be prepared to walk a lot to get to the Nobu restaurant and/or their newly opened Muna restaurant and/or the spa. - unfortunately the Lobby has no air conditioning and being open air concept, we were sweltering from the hot summer humidity The bad: All of their food is overpriced and under delivered - it is just not up to par if you are a true foodie and having no air conditioning in any restaurant just made the experience (& smells) worse. It's very telling when it's not the food's aroma hitting my nose but rather the staff's BO (not their fault, I really don't think it is fair to make them to work in such horrendous heat with no A/C all day long). If you go to the restaurants, your safest bet actually not the cooked food but rather the sushi. Just don't make our mistake of ordering cooked seafood- the $90 lobster we ordered was frozen and lacking in taste. The total experience: A really great getaway from the hustle and bustle. Let me tell you, it was a great experience. It is pricey and not an all inclusive, but you get what you pay for in terms of accommodations, the spa, & service. The next time I come back, I'll reserve my stomach real estate for some actually delectable food somewhere else. I gotta say I am absolutely impressed with their service, they are the definition of what it means to provide excellent service and how to make customers feel valued and catered to.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Everything was 5 star, from the service, to the hotel, to the spa, to the pools, and to the food. Alan, our hotel ambassador, took care of anything we needed. The Spa facility and the massage by Lulu was amazing. The food was out of this world. All the restaurants on the property were top notch. Especially, Nobu restaurant. Wow! The pool which is right on the beach wea heaven on earth. The rooms were spacious and modern. They also have a great gym with top of the line equipment. There was no need to leave the resort. After staying at this hotel in Cabo, I won't be able to stay anywhere else. Great job to everyone at Nobu Cabo. read more

My wife and I love the Nobu properties in LA where we live and decided to visit this location while on our Cabo vacation. We went for food and drinks by the pool around 3p. The property is gorgeous; finishes and materials all work and is exactly what you would expect from the Nobu brand. The layout is a bit odd in that there are lots of wide-open spaces, so moving through the property feels like a lot of unnecessary walking and vacant space, the huge open spaces and the location of the property also make it quite breezy and cold. We enjoyed lunch and drinks at the bar, steps from the beach, which was great. The place was pretty dead for a Friday, but it was pretty early in the day still, so imagine it gets livelier in the evening. Arrived via hired car from our Resort to Nobu and requested one for the way back to our resort. After about 10 min we realized we may just need to have the hotel call a taxi for us. Front desk stated that rideshares were not allowed into resorts, which I knew not to be true because we've been using them during our stays in Cabo for years, but didn't seem important, as he obliged and called a car for us. We went out to Valet, waited for about 5 min and this large 16-person van came pulling up. What seemed like perhaps the valet manager came to us, advised the hotel van would just take us; I looked confused and asked him if it would just be better to wait for a taxi as it was just the two of us, he assured me it was fine. We got in and the driver began driving, I asked details from the driver what he would charge for to take us to downtown Cabo or to our resort further South. He advised he could do $35 for Downtown Cabo or $50 for our resort. Seemed a bit high but we were freezing and the price wasn't that far off. My wife then realized she only had 28 USD on her and asked if we could pay with a credit or debit card. This is when things got really scary. He advised he couldn't take a credit card and we would need to pay with cash. I then chimed in, super calm, we don't have that in cash but we would be happy to get cash at a local ATM or pay the hotel via cc to cover the expense. He called into the Valet Manager and he said they would not accept that. A bit at a loss, I asked what could be done, we are 4 min away from the resort at this point but in the middle of the dessert. The manager said, and I quote, "just drop them off at the front of the gate and take the $28 for your time". At this point my wife is getting anxious and the driver is getting increasingly loud and a bit aggressive. It was hard to comprehend this was the solution he was offering as we were only 4 min from just going back to the resort. We asked if they could just drop us off at a safe restaurant or shopping area on the way into town we could try an order a car from there and give him the $28 we had, mind you not more than another 10 min down the road to leave us in a safe area in town. The sun was going down, we had no idea if we could get a car, and worse, my wife who is suffers from anxiety already traveling in Mexico is going to be forced out onto the dirt road with nothing for a mile in sight. It was absolutely unbelievable. But, he refused any compromise, and this wasn't the driver, this was coming from the valet manager, so that is exactly what he did. He stopped the van aggressively demanded what little cash we had on us and drove away leaving us on the side of the dirt road. This is a massive hole in how this place is managed that corporate has overlooked, but until this is fixed, this place does not have a grip on the potential risks with transporting passengers to and from this property which is located in the middle of nowhere, and I wouldn't be surprised if these practices are known in the area. It is still hard to believe writing this, but my wife was traumatized. We try to protect our partners and I felt so frustrated that this level of control was so wildly taken away. We got a car after 20 min, thankfully! We found a little wooden structure to wait under off the side of the road. Nobu Los Cabos, shame on you. I think a strong conversation with Valet is due and Corporate, I'd be concerned around the overall staff culture if this seemed remotely acceptable behavior. read more
Probably one of the best Nobu locations I can recall, and beyond that of Malibu or London in terms of service. Beautiful location, phenomenal fish and impeccable prep. I have a hard time thinking of a weakness. Net is, we had a fantastic evening at Nobu, and plan to return often. Well done. read more

My fiancée and I planned this trip to celebrate her birthday and our engagement. Instead of a carefree and relaxing week, we were constantly disturbed by housekeeping at 9 pm. The "5-star" room had paper-thin walls. You could hear our neighbor's conversations and when they used the bathroom. Outside our balcony and bathroom smelled like sewage. I booked a private dinner to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and she ended up very ill with food poisoning. We scheduled a whale watch for the following day, and the concierge did not have any understanding that she could not go on a boat while sick and charged us for the whale watch. They misled us to believe that it would be taken care of and "we had nothing to worry about," but they never did anything and figured we would forget about the charge. My fiancée was treated at the emergency room in the United States this morning. She was ultimately diagnosed with food poisoning and infected with E coli from their hotel kitchen. Nobu overpromised and underdelivered. Nobu charges premium prices and delivers sub-par food. The food was bland and everything was insanely overpriced. If you want a tough streak, raw food, unclean vegetables, and a musty room Nobu is for you. The hotel now is not taking the blame and lying to us again, that we visited downtown and to check with the other establishments. We never left the hotel because my fiancée was ill with food poisoning. read more

My disaster wedding weekend at Nobu Los Cabos.... My full review does not fit as it is more characters than allowed but is a must read so I have attached photos of my written experience of the most disastrous wedding weekend. I am utterly appalled and hope the attached review will save others from making the mistake my husband and I made. read more
What a breathtaking place it was. When it comes to booking hotels cleanliness is my highest priority. So after searching different hotels we decided to go to Nobu. Let me make one thing clear: this is not a cheap hotel. If you're looking for something budget friendly Nobu is not that place but it is well worth it. Staff super friendly, rooms super clean and the hotel resort was super zen and relaxing. Oh, also if you want to party this is not the right place for you. Everything is so nice, calm and quiet. There is only 3 places to eat inside the hotel besides room service and those are: Pacific (mexican food), Nobu (sushi), and malibu farm (healthy options). For breakfast we mostly got room service. Lunch was usually by the pool and dinner wait her at Pacifica or Nobu restaurant. We of course explored downtown but as far as places inside the resort you have only those 3 options. Food at each place including room service was amazing. If you're looking for a place in Cabo to relax and disconnect this is the place to go. Highly recommended. read more
Desert oasis Nobu quenches my longing For beauty and rest. Like a haiku, Nobu conveys a vivid message in a simple and pure form. Some words that I would use to describe Nobu are: traditional, cultural fusion, open, simple, modern, light, tranquil, sexy. Nobu is the place you go to when you want a vacation that is truly relaxing without being too far removed from the conveniences of modern living. The first thing you notice about Nobu when you enter the Diamanté property is how much further you have to drive before you actually reach the property. This is a good thing. You are pretty secluded aside from the Hard Rock Cafe property next door. You REALLY have to want to go somewhere if you decide to interrupt the peace and tranquillity that you will feel at Nobu by going back outside of the gates to civilization for anything. Anything that I couldn't get or do on-site simply had to wait until the day that we left the hotel. The grounds are immaculate! We stayed just before one of the grand opening parties, so aside from the hustle and bustle of setting up for the event, we were hard-pressed to find any part of the hotel that did not look like someone paid a lot of attention to every detail of the customer experience. During the day, there were staff members everywhere preening and pruning, crimping and cleaning; always ready to assist so you never want for anything. The food, oh Lord the food --simply divine! From bar bites and cocktails at La Playa Bar to dinner and drinks at Pacific or Nobu, I thoroughly enjoyed everything that I put in my mouth. The servers will gladly give you their opinions as well if you are undecided, as I was many times from the selection of tantalizing options on each menu. The service is what you would expect from a 5-star establishment. You will even have a personal assistant who is literally a text or WhatsApp message away if you do not want to pick your lazy, uber-relaxed self up to make a phone call to the concierge or walk to the front desk (You're the best Tio Charlie!). Your assistant can help you with anything from making reservations for a meal, calling you a taxi, or answering questions that you have about anything. Lastly, this is a beach front resort so the sunrises and sunsets on the beach are breathtaking. When at the pool, sitting outside at any of the restaurants, or enjoying the comfort of a lounge chair on your balcony, the roar of the Pacific waves are ever present in the background if you listen closely; a nice nap time lullaby. I would definitely stay here again but one thing that I will warn you about is that the ATM/cash machine has a hefty service fee to withdraw pesos, equal to about $30-$35 USD so be mindful of the fee. Also, there is a glitch where if you enter a withdrawal amount incorrectly and then try and edit/cancel your entry, it will still dispense the pesos so be VERY sure about how much money you want to withdraw because you may not be able to cancel the transaction mid-way. read more
Nobu's venture into hotels is a great thing. They have a handful of of these exquisite hotels throughout the sexy corners of the world, but the one they erected in the old lighthouse bay in Baja Mexico is nothing short of breathtaking. This hotel is perfect for you if: - you're tired of the all-inclusive. Too much food, too many watered down drinks, and just too many people. - your Cabo stay is short. It's not cheap here so shorter stays make the most sense -you don't like to venture out too much. It's secluded, takes 15 minutes just to leave the private golf course it's built on... - you lap in Japanese luxury. Geezus. Every step you take is on marble slabs. The whole hotel is filled with marble slab, soft woods, and Japanese minimalism. The service here is remarkable. They go out of their way to ensure you get everything you need. The rooms are simply divine. That deep soaker wood bathtub and the rain shower with the perfect amount of water pressure is going to be my next bathroom inspiration. The bed. Oh, the bed. Cloud is more like it. It felt like you were floating. Restful sleep, here you come. I highly recommend staying in their sim up rooms. At the time of booking it felt overly indulgent, but it is just so damn convenient. That said: some things they can improve on... 1) I was surprised at how many of the servers couldn't speak English. There were a few awkward moments when I had to repeat my selection over and over, point at the menu, and mine the protein to get my point across. 2) Don't bleach the marble while guests are trying to enjoy the pool. There was a paint thinner smell from their cleaning and definitely made us leave. 3) Better poolside menu selections. It was basically their room service menu. Improvement pointers aside, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Go for the most relaxing time (not a party down time). read more

Wasn't expecting how amazing this resort was. The staff and atmosphere was truly a dream! Rooms were beautiful and so clean and modern. Multiple pools and restaurants to choose from of course including the amazing Nobu. The only reason I took a star off was because the areas around the pool caused 2 of my friends to fall. Neither were running and both had on shoes. Apparently it has happened a lot there. read more

I was on the beach one night and the security guard at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos threatened my with a gun. So here is what happened: I walked up to the Nobu property from the beach late one night and the hotel security guard had a gun in his hand and pointed it at me. He initially asked me something in Spanish and I responded in English stating I was going back to my room. Then he asked me something else in Spanish (I am not a Spanish speaker) while I was walking, but then I saw a gun. At that point, I yelled I am a guest at Nobu Hotels and showed my card key. The security guard continued to hold the gun in his right hand and he asked what I was doing out. I told him I was looking for my girlfriend. During this entire time, I felt a great level of apprehension and fear because he held a gun. I called my girlfriend to prove to him I was looking for her. When she picked up with the call being on speaker, I even angrily said I was out looking for her and my life was in danger because a gun was involved, while keeping an eye on the gun. The gun was a short barrel revolver. Keep in mind, I did not drink any alcohol that night. I spoke with the management team, specifically Senen Guererro, a manager on the property. Initially, he dismissed it and said the security guard must have been another property's security guard, possibly the Diamante's (a neighboring property) and never acknowledged that Nobu even had security. He even informed my girlfriend that the security guard might have been a robber (which is ironically ignorant because why would a robber care who comes onto Nobu property). After an hour, Senen Guererro, the security manager and the guard came to my room. They informed me they reviewed a video which captured the entire event, but said no gun appeared in the video. I asked to see the video, but they said they would need to check and stood firm that the security guard did not have a gun. Instead, they stated that I must have seen him holding a radio. However, 3 minutes into the conversation, the Nobu management team stated that the video showed the security guard having his hands clasped in front of his body. How is that possible if he was holding his radio (LIE #1)? Also, the security guard spoke English during the incident, but when he stood next to the Nobu management team, he apparently could barely speak English. The next morning I approached Senen Guererro again about the situation and shared my thoughts. I asked to see the video, but he informed me they are waiting for approval from the legal team at Nobu. I explained that all I wanted was them to acknowledge the incident and apologize. Instead, I have only encountered lies, inconsistent stories and questionable behavior by the management team at Nobu. He offered for me to speak to the general manager. I was introduced to Hector Humbert as the general manager. Senen Guererro wasn't aware that I already knew the general manager at Nobu Los Cabo is Richard Sorenson (LIE #2). The management team showed me the camera that captured the video and it was acknowledge by the staff it was a significant distance away...around 150 feet with objects between the camera and the spot where the security guard stood. I explained that I felt my life was in danger, the value of my experience at Nobu Los Cabo has been greatly diminished and that I should be made whole for the experience. I asked Hector Humbert to see the video because if the video truly showed what the management staff is claiming, then it would resolve the entire situation. Hector Humbert informed me that it is against their policy, which differs from what Senen Guererro told me, in that they were waiting for legal approval (LIE #3). In my opinion, I could have died and Nobu Los Cabo would have a dead guest to deal with. I asked Hector Humbert to do something to make up for it or make it right, but he refused and didn't offer to do anything other than explain their position. This is very disappointing and its sad to see the Nobu brand falling from its standards. Given that Mr. Nobu was at the property the same week I was there, I'm sure he would be disappointed to see how his name and brand is effected. To make matters even more interesting and disturbing, I felt there was a great deal of racial profiling. When my Caucasian blonde girlfriend was on the beach she saw the same security guard and he never once questioned her 30 - 45 minutes before my incident. However, as a darker Asian male, he pulled out his gun in a same or similar situation. This is classic racial profiling and its really despicable and I have shared it with friends and family. In short, I do not recommend anyone staying at Nobu when they are in Los Cabo. Also, the lesson learned from this experience is if you are planning to look for someone on the beach at a hotel be prepared for crazy security guards and don't expect the hotel to admit to anything. #nobuhotel #nobuloscabo read more

Don't be fooled by the low room rates, they are like that for a reason! DO NOT STAY HERE - IT IS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF CABO. ITS WINDY AND NOT ENJOYABLE. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for my 30th birthday last month and we were shocked by how mislead we were. First off upon checking in, they brought us to a room that had an interior balcony that faced the pool, which wasn't what we booked so we asked them to switch us to a room with a balcony that faced the dunes, they did this whole song and dance and took us to a room that was $250 more a night and when I finally refused and said "show us the room which we paid for" they finally brought us to the room with the dune facing balcony and left us alone. I was shocked that they would even try to switch up our rooms like we wouldn't notice! Unfortunately that was only the beginning... That first day we realized that there was something wrong. We tried to enjoy some sun by the pool but it was so unbelievably windy that our towels wouldn't even stay on the chairs. It was so cold so we tried the other pool and found it just as windy! We even tried the beach cabanas and found it to be unbearable. Not only can you NOT swim on that beach, you can barely walk on it because the winds are so strong it creates a sand storm. You literally could not see the horizon line of sand, it was a straight up sand storm. We felt very deceived since we planned this trip to soak up some sun and relax. Not only were the available pools unusable, the beach pool was entirely closed for renovations as well as the swim up bar. The hotel straight up cancelled our dinners the day of at the two on-site restaurants Muna and Pacifico without our knowledge. When I confronted management about it he said they were under construction. We were so disappointed that almost half of the amenities on the property were not even available for use. It's like they knew half of the hotel was closed but needed the money so badly that they just let us come and thought that we wouldn't care! The entire hotel seemed completely empty and we found ourselves trapped in this aesthetically pleasing prison. Not only is it SO FAR from anything else, everything available on the property was insanely expensive so it felt like the ultimate scam. It felt like they just needed to get people to the hotel so that they could be trapped and spend hundreds of dollars on tiny tacos and mediocre quesadillas. I saw lot of reviews saying that food was good, but I thought it was below average and ridiculously overpriced. Not only was the food unsatisfying but you couldn't eat it outside at all because of the flies. We asked to eat our breakfast outside and the staff recommended we don't because of the fly problem they have. When we asked if the flies and wind were a problem year round, they assured us it wasn't; but when I asked my friend who had been in their "prime" time they said they had the exact same issues as us. My boyfriend on the second day turned to me and asked me "So this hotel is a scam, right?" and I unfortunately agreed. We wound up taking ubers to the main beach by the marina and renting chairs at another hotel for the duration of our stay. That was our saving grace, just leaving Nobu and going somewhere else where we could enjoy ourselves. I informed management about our completely unsatisfactory experience and they jus apologized to us. It's like they knew exactly how we felt but they were just there to do their jobs. Needless to say, I've lost all of my faith in the Nobu brand and will never stay or recommend anyone stay with them ever again. They do not care about their customers or their experience, they are just trying to squeeze as much money out of you as they possibly can. read more

Loved this hotel. 1- food best food at all hotel locations. Incredible. Not one bad dish. Obviously nobu was good, but the in room dining, the playabar, steakhouse, everything was good. The Nobu spirit is palpable even in the in room dining! If you like the miso cod from the main nobu restaurant, you can order the butter lettuce taco version and have it wherever and whenever- same for most the menus- they will let you order from Where ever you are and bring it poolside lol. Hands down best food at a hotel ever throughout. Our fav was the miso cod butter lettuce tacos, shishito peppers, truffle fries and the tuna poke tostadas. The guava frozen margarita drink was a must- with a Tajin rim. 2- service The service was really great. Every person, staff, employee was lovely. Beyond. Our concierge was named Antionio and he was so kind and helpful. We aren't that needy but he was able to do what we needed and helped with reservations, rides etc. 3- the bed Holy smokes the bed was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in at a hotel. I will be calling to see what it was bc I forgot to look myself. 4- pools Gorgeous pools. No question-- different vibes at them. Loved the zen adult pool and the infinity pool as well. 5- rooms Clean. Beautiful. My room had a pool and an incredible view of the resort and ocean. Great room service. Loved the soaking tub, the shower, and the long dual sink. Loved that it came with robes, a steamer, his and hers closets, slippers They had gratis beautiful welcome gifts and champagne for my birthday. Comments: I wish the road to the resort was a little better developed which I think it will be soon. It was a bit of a drive to medano beach/restaurants by taking side roads to get to Nobu hotel-- and some weren't paved, some were, lots of potholes, weird checkpoints. I wish the pool outside my room had been able to have the little part that looked like a jacuzzi (with jets and all) able To be heated up. We only got the jets to work the last day. read more

Very unsafe pool deck. Remarkably slippery and slick. We were there for a work conference, and several people slipped and fell on this deck. My husband had a very bad fall, and required an ER visit. Nobu has not reimbursed any of our expenses for this, and we are extremely unhappy and disappointed with the condition of the slick, slippery pool deck. read more

3 nights is NOT enoug. I'm sitting at the airport writing this already planning to come back. when you drive up there are several people waiting to help you out of your car. One person gets the bags, one person to give you complementary juice with a little pansy in the cup and cold towel, and the other to help you check in. Upon check-in you are whisked to an outdoor patio with ocean views while you wait for somebody to bring you your keys. You don't stand in line to check in, you sit on a plush outdoor sofa. after check in we were introduced to Abel, our concierge during our stay. he gave us a tour and ensured we had his contact information in case there was anything we might need. He showed us to our room a Jr Suite which was GORGEOUS. we stayed here for the first two nights. The second day we decided to check out the adults only pool. service was amazing! we ordered breakfast, also amazing. And around 1130a Able walked up and ask us what our plans were for the day, took some notes, and ensured that he would be able to arrange transportation for us that evening. He anticipated everything and took notes on his phone. For our last night we upgraded to a room with a private pool. Had Nobu for dinner. it's was all just magical. The property was clean, the pools were clean, there was a ton of staff constantly going out of their way to get you anything that you might need. I loved that when we arrived that greeted us with a "welcome home"... And damn it if I didn't feel at home the entire time read more

STUNNING property. If you appreciate beautiful architecture and aesthetic, this is the place. Very clean. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade (garden to ocean view). We stayed for 3 nights/ 4 days. Perfect amount of time if you're just staying at the resort like we did! We ate at all the restaurants. Nobu was (obviously) excellent. Pacific restaurant was our least favorite. It had the same drink menu as the pool bar (which isn't huge) and the food was OK. But, we loved the violinist playing covers to popular songs. Ardea (steakhouse) was delicious on our last night. One of the best steakhouses we've been to! ADD-ON'S. We purchased the "Taste of Nobu" ahead of time and we're so glad we did. We not only had a wonderful dinner there, but you get a DAILY $60 breakfast credit. Highly recommend. We used it every morning at Malibu Farm. Delicious breakfast (lots of choices) and perfect way to start the day. We also added the "private round-trip transportation." We probably overpaid for this ($275), but in the end, we think it was worth it. No hassles. They even had complimentary cervezas and water in the car. The only minor complaint was the "house" music by the main pool and Playa Bar. A little too EDM. My boyfriend is an EDM music producer and it was even too much for him by Day 3. We moved over to the other side and pools where there's more of a tranquil vibe. Overall, highly recommend! read more
Accommodations are 5 star. Beautiful luxurious rooms. White linens, stone floors a beautiful mahogany soaking tub. Gorgeous. Pools 4 stars The only Infiniti pool has very limited seating options. If you are a female who isn't model tall, young, and thin prepare to feel uncomfortable. The other pools give off the same uncomfortable vibe. Not a fan. The food: Hi quality food presented beautifully but lacks flavor and is very expensive. Remember this isn't an all inclusive. Service: lovely lovely lovely 5 star Summary: underwhelmed by the experience and looked forward to spending time in the room. Maybe the heat and humidity of summer months contributed to this disappointment. In any case I don't want to come back. read more

My wife and I love the Nobu properties in LA where we live and decided to visit their Cabo location while we were on vacation in the area. We went for food and drinks by the pool around 3p. The property is gorgeous, the finishes and materials all work and is exactly what you would expect with the Nobu brand. The layout is a bit odd in that there are lots of wide-open spaces, so moving through the property feels like a lot of unnecessary walking, the huge open spaces and the location of the property also make it quite breezy and cold. We enjoyed lunch and drinks at the bar, steps from the beach. The place was pretty dead for a Friday, but it was pretty early in the day still, so I imagine it gets livelier in the evening. We regretted going because it was a bit far out of the way and around nothing except for Hard Rock which you cannot access from Nobu. Arrived via uber from our Resort to Nobu and requested an uber back to our resort from their breezy lobby for about 10 min until we realized we may just need to have the hotel call a taxi for us. We got in and the driver began driving, I asked details from the driver what he would charge for ME or to our resort at the Four Seasons Resort. He advised he could do $35 for ME or $50 for Four Seasons. Seemed a bit high but we were freezing and the price wasn't that far off. My wife then realized she only had 28 USD on her and asked if we could pay with a credit or debit card. This is when things got really scary. He advised he couldn't take a credit card and we would need to pay with cash. I then chimed in, super calm, we don't have that in cash but maybe we could just go to ME and get cash or pay the hotel via cc to cover the expense. He called into the Valet Manager and he said they would not accept that. A bit at a loss, I asked what could be done, we are 4 min away from the resort at this point but in the middle of the dessert. The manager said, and I quote, "just drop them off at the front of the gate and take the $28 for your time". At this point my wife is getting a bit worried because the driver is getting a little loud. It was hard to comprehend this was the solution he was offering as we were only 4 min from just going back to the resort. We asked if they could just drop us off at a safe restaurant or shopping area on the way into town we could try an uber there and give him the $28 we had, mind you not more than another 10 min down the road. The sun was going down, we had no idea if we could get a car, and worse, my blonde wife who is a bit anxious traveling in Mexico is going to be forced out onto the dirt road with nothing for a mile in sight. It was absolutely unbelievable. But, he refused any compromise, and this wasn't the driver, this was coming from the valet manager, so that is exactly what he did. He stopped the van aggressively demanded what little cash we had on us and drove away leaving us on the side of the dirt road. I would suspect this perhaps is a hole in how this place is managed that corporate has overlooked, but until this is fixed, this place does not have a grip on the potential risks with transporting passengers to and from this property which is located in the middle of nowhere, and I wouldn't be surprised if these practices are known in the area. It is still hard to believe writing this, but my wife is was traumatized. We try to protect our partners and I felt so frustrated that this level of control was so wildly taken away. We got a car after 20 min, thankfully! We found a little wooden structure to wait under off the side of the road, thankfully. But Nobu Los Cabos, shame on you. I think a strong conversation with Valet is due and Corporate, I'd be concerned around the overall staff culture if this seemed remotely acceptable behavior. read more

All associated with the room is first class but beyond that not my kind of resort. Steak House was horrible and super expensive. I get it, I'm in another country and food is going to be different. Pretty shocked at how many 5-star reviews there are for this place. My expectations were definitely not met to say the least. For a Nobu Hotel chain and the price you pay, you'd most definitely expect incredible food & incredible service. The NOBU restaurant was so mediocre and the service was actually horrible compared to what you should get in Cabo. Although I went in the early stages of COVID, there was nothing really to do and restaurants + bars closed to early that we were in bed by 10PM. The only great service we got was our personal concierge and I wish I remembered his name because he was probably the only great service we got. The pool is okay as well. I'm just used to so much more pool options, food options, and more fun when heading to Cabo. This would be great for those who want to come in for a night to get social media content and those who are absolutely ok with minimal choices. Best way I can describe the prices are: expect to pay almost $30 for a tiny mochi dessert. The hotel rooms and hotel design however, were absolutely gorgeous and the design was incredible (that's why I'm giving it 2 stars). The bathroom is pretty incredible as well. Oh and they give you a pretty cute bag to use throughout your stay. Highlight of the trip lol! But like I said, really disappointed. read more

Beautiful Instagram worthy resort, okay experience. Pluses: -As others mentioned, room is gorgeous, spacious, super clean. -Garden view still had a nice view of the ocean. -Start of October, there were very few people so pools often felt private. -Free valet service if you rent a car -very convenient -very responsive concierge via email. Minuses: -Location! there is nothing around unless you drive out minimum 15 min, and 30 min to get to the marina. On the way out, the roads are also super bumpy and it's not a pleasant drive. Without a rental, it will be $60 one way to the marina booking a 7 person van with nobu. The beach next to the resort is also not swimmable! -the food is expensive and there are only so many restaurants at the resort. Add that to a reclusive location, it's super inconvenient, unless you like eating at the same places. -there is a 1hr pass to use the spa facilities for $35, but usually only 2 people can book any hour slot for that option so this will not work for larger groups. Conversely, if you book a spa service, it includes 1hr using the spa facilities (at least ~$200 for 50 min massage after resort credits excluding tip). -for breastfeeding moms, you need to call someone everytime you want your milk fridged/frozen (the mini bar fridge is not nearly cold enough). While it's nice that they offer this service, my last morning, it took more than 30 min for someone to come up for the milk, so I had to just sit there in the room and missed breakfast with my party. Summary: this might be a good option if you like just relaxing at the pool all day with delicious and expensive drinks, and aren't going on many excursions. read more

For my birthday, my fiance and I came to Nobu. We booked via southwest, which I was extremely skeptical about considering it's not directly with the hotel. However, we had no issues with this. They don't offer shuttle services, but do offer private cars which range from $275-$315 round trip and $140-$160 one way. We ended up getting a rental just so we wouldn't be stranded. (Parking is free at Nobu) Why so much? Because they are about 45mins away from the airport. Also takes about 10-15mins just to get off of the resort. We arrived and were greeted with bellboys and concierge. We had to sanitize our shoes, were given hand sanitizer and then warm towels to wipe our hands with. Check in process was a breeze, didn't even have to go to a counter just sat outside and they came to us. Check in was 3pm, we arrived around 3:30pm. At 3:45 we were told our room wouldn't be ready for another hour. We traveled for about 5hrs (6 if you count the hour it took us to get there). I was pretty upset by this because they reached out to me days prior and we let it be known we landed at about 1pm, so why did they need till 5pm to clean? Idk. Nonetheless, they made this up by allowing us to dine at the pacific (restaurant on site) at no cost. Just had to pay for alcoholic drinks. Which are about $18 each for frozen drinks. The food and service was great, we visited 2 restaurants and did room service once. That said, everything is super overpriced. I get we're paying for the experience in regards to the hotel, but their food/beverage prices were crazy. He ordered a birthday cake via room service, not only was it late but it said his name instead of mine. Why would he order his OWN birthday cake? We did the swimup room. Absolutely LOVED this. We got in the pool every day we were there and took full advantage. We purchased our own alcohol outside of the resort and bought plastic cups so we could drink by the pool. Overall, our goal was to have a relaxing vacation which is very possible here since it is so secluded. They have about 200 suites and at the moment, only at 37% capacity, so it's pretty empty. It's a beautiful hotel and I would deff return. read more

Stayed At Nobu Hotel Los Cabos for 4 nights during the first week of December. From the The hotel property is a bit further from the airport than The majority of other hotels. The hotel itself did not disappoint in beauty and aesthetic. Staff was friendly, helpful and took all the necessary safety precautions. We traveled with our two beloved dogs and were very impressed by how pet friendly The hotel is. Upon arrival we were surprised to find two dog beds and dog bowls waiting for us in our room. Such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated! Our room itself was nice, Spacious and had a great bathroom! The reason for the deduction in Stars is due to the underwhelming restaurant and food experience. Being from Los Angeles we frequent the original Nobu restaurant *Matsuhisa (previous review on my account) as well as the Nobu Malibu. Maybe we are a bit too accustomed to the high standards of the LA restaurants, but we were disappointed with what we had during our stay. We tried every dining option available- Nobu, Pacific, Malibu Farms, poolside service and Room service. All of which were nothing to write home about. All in all it was a nice time away, but just a few things to take into consideration when booking our next trip. I have a 10 minute Vlog showcasing some of my experience on my YouTube channel. Had a great 4 day / 3 night weekend at the new Nobu. King bedroom suite was awesome. We hung out on the private balcony one day. The king bed was super comfortable. Love the idea of the large wood soaking tub or the shower. Plenty of lounge chairs and lots of room at the multiple different pool areas. Ordered room service the first day - charcuterie board and chips and guacamole. The food was excellent and super quick. All of the stuff were amazing to us. Super nice and friendly. We went to the spa and got a couple massage. Service was great. read more

Beautiful zen luxurious resort. The rooms are large. The bed is so comfortable, we melted in to the pillow like mattress. Decorated beautifully. I loved the wood bathtub! The swimming pools are exotic - 1 fresh water and 1 salt water. Landscaping immaculate with various points of zen style artscape pieces. Private cabanas with outlets. Service in the pool area is exemplary - once we found our place to sit at the pool area, a young lady brought us 2 fluffy towels each, without having asked for them. The food was out of this world! Chef Paulo made our group 2 special sample pasta dishes and brought them personally to our table. It's a quite luxurious resort for those who are needing peace and escape from the stress of every day life. Thank you Nobu read more

The Nobu resort looks beautiful but it is let down by a number of factors. The staff is mostly very friendly, but the experience is inconsistent, especially in the pool area. The view from most ocean view rooms is partial and should be labeled as such. Our first ocean view room for instance was a big disappointment and, to the hotel's credit, we were moved on our second day to a room with a gorgeous unobstructed ocean view - mind you, looking at the property's layout, there are only a few. The resort's location is out of the way inside a new development called Diamante. A 60-90$ trip to Cabo will take 30-40 mins and a lot of the Diamante area is still being built so the roads are rough. Because of it the incentive to leave the resort is limited and you'll end up mostly dining on property where prices are inexplicably higher than in Malibu and where the quality varies: Nobu was excellent, Ardea was good, Pacific and the Playa Bar were average at best. Be prepared to budget for $150-200 dinners for two at Pacific and 300$ at Nobu/Ardea but it's easy to spend a lot more. Breakfasts and lunches are only marginally cheaper and Nobu/Ardea are not open. You should also be aware that all checks include a 15% service charge but the money is pooled across all workers so your servers will expect 5-10% extra of direct tip. Not an issue, but this is not made clear by the hotel and thus it can lead to awkward situations if you are not aware. As many reviews mention expect to be given a hard sell on the Nobu Residences time share from the moment you arrive and saying you're not interested will not stop them from pitching it to you repeatedly throughout your stay. On the positive side, the rooms are beautiful, large and in immaculate condition. Soundproofing between rooms is excellent (but it's powerless against the party noise and/or live music coming from the outside). The pools were stunning and, other than on our last day when a large group of rude wedding guests descended on them with absolutely zero attempt on the part of the hotel to control them, they were relaxing. Cabanas are free of charge, but feature short flat Japanese style beds and therefore remain unused. Purified water is provided in any quantity you need free of charge. Don't get me wrong, for the most part I had a good time at Nobu resort but all in all it's hard to justify spending on it the same money one would spend in the best parts of Hawaii or in the Maldives, especially when the overall experience compares poorly. I can't recommend it. Tip: make sure your stay does not overlap with a wedding because, due to the property's size and layout, it will be very noisy and disruptive. read more

Had an amazing stay (still currently here) at Nobu Hotel. The facilities are amazing, the buildings and grounds are beautiful. All the food is amazing at all the restaurants, of course the Nobu restaurant is amazing as usual. The rooms are extremely nice, and the service is top notch. This is an amazing high end hotel, the pools are so nice and the beach is right there to walk on. Antonio was our butler and he was amazing and helped us book so many things for us just through texting him. The drinks were amazing, all the food options are great (Nobu, Pacific, Malibu Farm, Playabar). This was our first time in Cabo but definitely will not be our last. See you again hopefully soon Nobu Hotel. read more

We enjoyed our stay here but they still have some kinks to work out. When we arrived (around 8pm-ish) our concierge took us on a tour of our room and nothing else. The rest of our stay we saw our same concierge and other concierge's given other guests tours of the whole hotel. It would have been nice if we had the same treatment to be shown everything. Some things we had no idea where their till we saw them on IG a few days after we left. We had no idea there was a ping pong table or board game room at all on the property till the day we checked out. This would have been great to know as it rained the whole time we were there. The rain didn't ruin the days at all tho. We still were able to make the best of it in the pools and making fiends with other guest. And let me say they are not prepared for the rain at all. Every building there is a "open to the environment" style which is awesome I think. But when the rain comes those buildings have very little cover for guest to take shelter in when they don't want to be in their room. On our last night we wanted to grab drinks at the bar under the Nobu restaurant but the bar was full and they only had one table that was occupied. We asked if there was any way to get a another table made so we could enjoy some drinks and watch the rain. We were told "NO". We all were kinda shocked at that since any other hotel or resort we have stayed in have always gone out of their way for the guest especially with something so simple. We then asked if we could just order a drink at the side or the bar as they didn't have any open seats. We were told "no just go to our room and order room service". Another shock to us all. Luckily the group at the table left as we were about to head to back to our room. We asked if we could then take that table and the worker at the bar rolled their eyes and said "I guess". This was very unacceptable for the staff do to. Needless to say we made the best out of the night that we could. All of the food their is incredible. From the cheese quesadilla to the spice tuna roll we couldn't find a bad thing on the menu. The drinks on the other hand were very inconsistent. We would order a few rounds of the same drink and every time it was different. The rooms are amazing. We were lucky enough to get a room with an incredible view of the ocean, fire pit and pools. They will remind you tho several times about keeping water off the marble floors in your room. Sounds easy enough right. Well keep in mind it's very humid there and simply opening up the slider to the patio will cause your room to become rather wet in a matter of minutes. We had room service come up after we were out on the patio and when they entered the room they about had a heart attack about the fools being slightly wet from the humidity. I understand the marble can be ruined by water but there should be a dehumidifier in every room that guest can turn on to help with this issues. We hope they can figure out some of these kinks cause the property is beautiful and has the potential to be amazing. read more

The service here is absolutely impeccable. The staff here truly understand the meaning of Hospitality. Everyone is so helpful & friendly. We were greeted with iced teas. I did not enjoy them immediately trying to rope us into a timeshare presentation upon arrival though. Every day I saw awkward guests sitting outside clearly being pitched an offer they didn't want for 75 minutes, all for the promise of a free massage. It seemed incredibly awkward & being asked for more money at an expensive resort is just poor taste. We opted for one of the ocean view rooms & it did not disappoint. The view was worth every penny. We even saw whales from our patio. We are obsessed with the cozy hotel robes & the gorgeous bath tub and skylight above. Our room included a daily $60 breakfast credit & we enjoyed it with in room dining. Our servers were incredible & always presented our food to us. They even go a step above to ensure you have no food allergies or restrictions at every dining experience on property. Our concierge Stephany was absolutely incredible. She was extremely attentive & made sure we had everything we need. We got engaged on our trip & she arranged for a bottle of champagne to be sent to our room and flower petals in a prepared bath. She handled everything from our covid tests to all of my questions. The food here is fantastic! You have to have the Tuna Tostadas. The hotels namesake restaurant definitely lives up to its hype. We had the spicy tuna roll & their incredible miso soup at Nobu. Because it was my birthday we were gifted the matcha cheesecake & it was to die for. The food at the steakhouse Ardea is also very good. The appetizers alone had me blown away. We had this delicious cheese muffin, beet goat cheese & hummus with pancetta. The tacos at Pacific restaurant were just ok. It's an elevated taco but sometimes even at a fancy resort you want an authentic greasy yummy fish taco. The pool area is great! Staff are super on it & you have great views of the ocean. We will definitely be back. Loved it! Thank you Stephany. read more

A couple of flaws in this diamond: Google maps will take you to the employee entrance, so just watch for the signs off highway 19! Your welcome to Nobu will include pressure to sit through a 75 minute presentation where they will try and sell you weeks of time in their (under construction) apartments. I say "weeks" since the starting ask was $45,000 cash for 5 weeks over the next ten years in a 1 BR, then 4 weeks, then 1 week, then a special offer for today, etc, etc. They all feature "ocean views" but as it will be a 6 story building with a 3 story hotel between it and the ocean, and since it faces the gold course with the ocean in the distance? But back to the resort. The rooms are wonderful in a elegant minimalist sort of way. Everything maintained with in an inch of its life. Nespresso machine in the room. Glass slider wall, with blackout and sheer drapes on a electric pull with a remote I couldn't quite figure out, but the drapes seemed to notice if I gave them a pull, and would automatically slide in the desired direction. Sitting on my patio with my espresso in the AM was delightful, and the WIFI worked fine. The Nobu restaurant is mostly small plates style, and the food is terrific. Nobu tries a lot of exotic things, and there were only a couple of things that seemed less than exquisite. The black cod is my favorite. Listening to the Japanese phrases coming from the local waiters is amusing. The deck and bar at Nobu are perfect for (distant) whale watching. There's a steakhouse, and we thoroughly enjoyed the amuse bouche before doing the Tomahawk steak. Cooked perfectly - charred and rare. Too much really, but the $300 credit from listening to the condo presentation covered the Pommard. I guess there's another restaurant or two, but we fell into going for the best - Nobu, since everything is overpriced anyway. Even without a reservation, you can eat at the bar. The pools are perfect if you are into sitting under umbrellas and basking. The only thing within miles is the Hard Rock resort, and since its all-inclusive there's a guard that keeps Nobu people away. It isn't very Mexican, and it's nose bleed expensive. But maybe you deserve it... read more

This hotel is NOT a 5 star hotel . When I checked in they charged my credit card $1700 for (incidentals) and said they would credit back at checkout. Make sure when you check into this hotel (and I suggest you stay at another hotel) you get confirmation that your credit will be given back! The service at the hotel was nowhere near what it was at Esperanza , One and Only , The Cape. The hotel was in a location that was remote. Beautiful hotel and exquisite location. Great food, so many pools and spas. Perfectly manicured gardens. It's minimalist modern, so it is a nice zen for your mind and soul. It's about 30 minutes from most activities and the nearby town and about an hour from the airport. Uber's are easy to take back home while taxis are easy to get out of the resort. One down side you cannot swim here in the ocean due to currents, it's not just an advisory, they advise you at the airport, at check in and make you sign a waiver when you check in! Drinks were very very weak, straight up shots barely tasted the alcohol and cocktails were purely sweet. Stick to wines and beers or your just drinking mocktails. I started with a higher rating but I dropped it. Every bar takes 20-30 minutes to get a single drink out, pool services and bars close by 5pm. Very little vibe to the hotel, music is barely audible and the resort is all but abandoned by 9pm. The hard rock next door seemed much more happening and you can use all the amenities here If you want to anyway. Nobu, the restaurant, the food is tasty but the serving staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. Not what you expect for Nobu standards. Malibu Farms is a delicious and friendly restaurant in the resort, we definitely recommend it! read more

We booked 1 room for 4 people. We later called them & they told us we could add 1 more person, that it would not be a problem having a 5th person given that there was a sleeper sofa. We get to the hotel, they tell us that is not allowed, that we need to book another room! We argued with them but they said they gave us wrong information. Who gives wrong information at this level of a hotel?? They took advantage of us once we were there since we could tell occupancy was very low. Next time whatever change you get, get it in WRITING. Then we left a pair of shoes there. We texted the guy, no response. We told him we could come back for it, no response. This was 2 days into having moved to another hotel. We were pretty disappointed at their lack of professionalism when it came to these two things. Pretty significant in our view given how exclusive this hotel is. We had reservations at the RIU Palace for the rest of our trip, which we enjoyed so much more. read more

I am writing to express my recent experience at the Nobu Hotel in Cabo San Lucas. Unfortunately, our vacation got off to a rocky start and ended on a similarly disappointing note. Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were initially directed towards the timeshare side, where we were strongly encouraged to consider purchasing a timeshare. We were informed that our reserved room was not yet prepared and would not be available until after the designated check-in time. Consequently, we were urged to make use of the timeshare accommodations. However, after asserting our preference to stay in the hotel as originally booked, our room miraculously became available. Subsequently, we proceeded to the pool area in the hope of enjoying some relaxation. One of the primary attractions that drew us to this hotel was its promise of a breathtaking ocean view from the pool, complete with a swim-up bar and sushi station nestled in the sandy surroundings. To our dismay, upon arrival, we were greeted by imposing construction barriers that obstructed the entire view, indicating that the swim-up bar and sushi station were undergoing renovations. This was contrary to the information provided during our initial property tour, where we were led to believe that we would have access to these amenities. Despite this disappointment, we opted to make the best of the situation and took a seat by the poolside. However, we waited for approximately 10 minutes without any assistance in securing chairs. Despite our requests, there was no host or hostess available to help us. We eventually decided to sit down and order food, but our meal was marred by the presence of a black hair. The following day, we reached out to the concierge for assistance with reservations, but no one returned our calls despite repeated attempts. Consequently, we took matters into our own hands and made our own reservations. Unfortunately, our experience with the concierge continued to be marked by unresponsiveness to our requests. Frustrated by the lack of amenities and assistance, we made the decision to leave the resort and venture into town, where we paid a premium for access to a beach club. We had initially chosen Nobu Hotel in anticipation of enjoying the amenities that justified the price we paid. On another occasion, we attempted to access the adult pool, but found that no accommodations were available, a situation we had encountered on previous days as well. We requested one of the staff to inform us if any chairs became available. An hour later, we were informed that chairs were now available. We packed our belongings and proceeded to the other pool, which was quite a distance away, only to be told that there were no available chairs, and the staff appeared unaware of our previous request. It was only after we left in frustration that chairs suddenly became available, repeating a pattern of inconvenience. Finally, we engaged in a conversation with the manager, who unfortunately displayed a lack of courtesy throughout our interaction. He appeared disinterested and repeatedly checked his watch, failing to pay attention to our concerns. He offered us two complimentary nights for a future visit, an offer we declined, expressing our intention never to return to the resort. When we requested a refund, the manager agreed without hesitation, indicating that he would communicate with the corporate office to facilitate the process. Regrettably, he did not follow through with his commitment, failing to respond within the promised timeframe despite our daily attempts to reach him. In light of these circumstances, I am compelled to seek resolution through formal channels. I kindly request your assistance in expediting this matter through the corporate office in the hope of achieving a timely refund, which is rightfully due to us. read more

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Nobu Los Cabos that I feel compelled to share. Our vacation, which cost us over $10,000 for just three nights, turned into a nightmare. First, we had a $600 piece of property broken, and when we approached the manager at 12:40 PM, their response was shockingly indifferent. Instead of offering assistance, they suggested we should pay for it ourselves. This lack of care was a huge red flag for us. Even worse, we noticed that the champagne we had paid for was missing. It felt like we were being robbed right under their noses. On top of that, we were charged $494.20 for a pair of Fendi glasses that we never received. It was clear they had no problem taking our money without delivering the promised service. To add insult to injury, they were aggressively trying to sell us a condo, which is the last place we'd want to live, especially at Nobu. We also attempted to arrange horseback riding, a yacht sunset cruise, and fishing activities via email prior to our arrival, but we received no response whatsoever. The complimentary dinners we were promised were never honored, and when we expressed our dissatisfaction, the concierge spoke to us as if we had no right to complain, despite spending so much on our stay. This entire experience left us feeling robbed and disrespected. The food was mediocre at best, earning a mere 1/10 from us. The service was non-existent, scoring a 0/10, and the manager deserves a -5/10 for their lack of professionalism and concern. Overall, this trip has soured our view of Cabo, which is heartbreaking since it's so close to home. In hindsight, we would have been better off enjoying a staycation. Please, do yourself a favor and avoid Nobu Los Cabos. It was the worst vacation experience I've had in 34 years! read more

Nobu Los Cabos is nothing short of a paradise on Earth. The team at Nobu is the epitome of professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness. Our ambassador, Alan Santiago, is nothing short of a magician. He orchestrated a truly magical experience for us, checking on us constantly throughout our stay, ensuring every moment was perfect. We stayed in a private pool room that can only be described as a sanctuary. The zen minimalistic decor exuded tranquility and sophistication. Dining at Nobu was a culinary journey of unparalleled excellence, accompanied by exquisite cocktails that were truly works of art. As a health and wellness enthusiast, the gym was a dream come true. It's not only gorgeous but also highly functional, allowing for invigorating workouts with breathtaking ocean views. If there was a minor setback, it would be the spa. While it was still good, it didn't quite match the overall luxury of Nobu. What truly sets Nobu Los Cabos apart is the people. We connected with so many wonderful, thoughtful, and all-around amazing individuals, like Enrique and Kiara. They are genuine, authentic, and made our experience even more special. Our time at Nobu was so extraordinary that we decided to become residence members. If you're contemplating this trip, don't hesitate - just book it. We used Delta Vacations, but I can only imagine that using the Nobu Concierge would provide an even better experience. Five nights and six days of pure relaxation and wellness in this unparalleled haven - it's an experience beyond compare. read more

Nobu Los Cabos is truly a gem and absolutely worth the drive! While the journey to the hotel may feel a little daunting as you approach, once you arrive, you're greeted by a stunningly beautiful setting that instantly puts you at ease. The food was absolutely delicious, living up to Nobu's world-class reputation. The yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño was fresh and flavorful, perfectly balancing spice and citrus. The black cod miso was cooked to perfection, with its buttery texture and rich flavor melting in your mouth. And, of course, the crispy rice with spicy tuna was a standout - so addictive and satisfying! The service was impeccable, with every staff member going above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made thoughtful recommendations. The view and ambiance are the icing on the cake - breathtaking oceanfront scenery paired with chic, serene vibes that make you feel like you've found a slice of paradise. If you're in Los Cabos, do yourself a favor and make the trip to Nobu. It's a dining experience that combines incredible food, exceptional service, and unforgettable views. I can't wait to return! read more

Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is simply perfection with one glaring exception.... If you get a room near the cortez pool (building 1) then you will be pounded with loud blaring music from their DJ from morning until 5:30pm.... We moved to the quiet Pacific Pool side (Building 2 or 3) and it was zen quiet and peaceful... The pool on the Pacific side was quiet, beautiful and so welcoming.... The rooms were beautiful.... So choose wisely... Either the Loud Cortez Pool and rooms or the quiet zen beautiful rooms on the Pacific pool side. Our Butler Ignacio was simply outstanding... He helped us find the perfect room in Building 3 (zen quiet and peaceful) and made dinner reservations and was so attentive to our special needs including 2x daily ice and water in our room... He also was there to see us off making sure the bell staff collected our luggage at the exact time promised... He is a gem of a butler with a positive and very friendly and professional demeanor..... 5 star butler read more

Staying at Nobu Hotel in Cabo was an amazing experience overall. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what you expect from a luxury stay. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable, and the atmosphere throughout the resort felt elevated and relaxing. A special shoutout to our ambassador Roberto he was incredible. Attentive, helpful, and always made sure we were taken care of. He really enhanced our stay and made everything feel seamless. The only downsides were not being clearly informed about a $200 USD cleaning fee at check-in, which was a surprise at the end of the stay. Also, some of the late-night drivers arranged through the hotel tried to run my card directly, which felt uncomfortable and a bit suspicious. Despite those issues, the overall experience was still excellent. I would absolutely stay again because the property, service, and Roberto's hospitality truly stood out. read more
