Their service was well, all the workers were kind and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. Their Yuka Frita is crunchy but so soft in the center. The fish was well breaded and the sauce was amazing. Their portions for both dishes is good. They cooked the steak very well- a bit watery but nothing huge. Entered and got seated right away. Ended up ordering Bandeja Paisa and Grilled chicken topped with creamy mushroom sauce - Especial de pechuga a la colombiana. The Bandeja Paisa was solid as usual. The Especial de pechuga a la colombiana was surprisingly good. Didn't realize it was gonna be that creamy, since the menu mentioned it was some sort of wine sauce. The amount they give you is so much, brought left overs home for another meal the next day. Noches de Colombia has become a big part of Hudson and Bergen County in the last couple years. There's a reason we go here. The food is great, and the staff are always very kind and friendly. We love this location in particular, even though it's one of their smaller restaurants because the bakery is phenomenal. If you try one thing, I highly recommend the Pan DeBono. If you choose to get a Donut from Dunkin instead of trying the amazing bakery here, you should sit in your car before you head back home. Look in the rearview mirror and contemplate if this is what you want out of life. "Is this what I am? I have been to several Noches de Colombia and this location is my favorite one by far. First, the service is always quick and the waiters check up on you to make sure you are ok. Second, the portions here are humongous. You will definitely have leftovers to take home and enjoy for a second meal. Third, they have bottles of pink sauce on the table so you can put as much as you want on your food. At other locations, you have to ask for the sauce and they will only give you a small little container each time. Additionally, no other Noches has given me enough food for more than one meal. I am always satisfied with the portions at this location. When I ordered a side of fries, I thought it would be a "side". Little did I know I would get a giant order that was enough to share with the entire table. My second side I chose was Yuca fries. Again, I got a portion big enough to share with everyone. A few weeks ago, I ordered takeout from here due to the pandemic, since there is currently no dining option. I was hoping that the portions would still be the same as when you dine in. I was very happy to see that this was the case and I received a huge portion with enough for a second meal. Each entree comes out with 2 sides so we were able to try almost everything we wanted like guacamole with potatoes, salad, sweet plaintains and fried plaintains. They were all excellent! Went to this location 2 different times. The food was amazing. Can't say nothing bad about the food. But the service was NOT up to the same standards as the food. The Main waitress was slightly horrible. Not being mean but it felt like her coworkers had to pick up her slack. I had to tell her you forgot our drinks. I called and place my order for delivery. After 40 minutes I followed up my order and the person i talked with is Maria, she said she'll call me back to let me know where my order is. They're pretty friendly, and do their best to speak English. For an appetizer, we split the picadito, which had chorizo, chicarrones, yuca, and empanadas. The portion was pretty large, even split among three. For my entree, I had a fish sandwich with fries. The fish was fried, it was fresh, and there was a lot of it in the sandwich. Pick 3-4 dishes and share. The thing to appreciate about Colombian food is their rich flavors. But too much of one dish cld cause you to be sick of it. Trust me and have a little bit of everything! Here are a couple recommendations: my personal favorite is the Tierra y Mar - it's an assortment of sautéed shrimp and skirt steak 10/10 yuuuuuumy. I really love the added French fries because they too come sautéed! if you're a meat lover definitely order the bandeja paisa - comes with steak, pork, sausage, rice and eggs.
