This is the strangest review I have ever written and it will probably hold that title for a while…read more I don't know if people would use Yelp to look for surgeon, but hey, it is one other platform to share information. I am giving 5 stars on my overall experience with the office staff, doctors, pricing, and results. At this practice, I went to see Dr. Geoffrey Durham-Smith for a breast reduction (non-cancer/illness related). I was referred by a friend who had a surgery done by him in the past and was satisfied with the results. I went for a consult (sometimes these are "free" meaning they may be covered by your insurance plan, CHECK WITH YOUR INSURANCE FIRST). At the consult, they will take your general information (height, weigh, blah blah) and it may include taking pictures of your breasts if that is what your surgery is for (it's weird, but just a heads up). Then the doctor will come in and briefly speak with you, ask you a few questions, and give you more information. If you want them to, they will submit a request for medical review/prior authorization to your insurance company to see, if you decide to have the surgery, if it is a covered benefit. Once they receive a response from your insurance company, they will get in touch with you. After the initial anger of my insurance company refusing to even review it for medical necessity (because it was NOT cancer related), I was able to talk with them about the self pay option. When it comes to self pay, they can give a pretty accurate quote (including the doctors fee, anesthesia, operating room, and hospital fees). Make sure to ask what fees may come up NOT included in the quote. I had a few fees come up that they did not say, which led to some anger and heated discussions with them, but everything was sorted out. The office staff was, 99% of the time, helpful and patient with all my questions and paperwork requests (needing receipts, FMLA paperwork for me and a caregiver, disability paperwork for work). The other 1% was after I received an unexpected bill and someone who didn't do the billing/cost information tried to help me and did not have all the information when I was already mad (if you already paid everything for you were quoted and you get another bill when you have already paid everything out of pocket, you would be mad too). Dr. Durham-Smith is a very professional and to the point doctor, he did not chit-chat and shoot the breeze. His bedside manner was all business, which when surgery and pain scare you and make you feel like a child, may not be the best, but the nurses at the office and at the hospital, help with that. I am very happy with my results from this surgery and experience with this office/doctor. If there are any women who are even THINKING about getting breast reduction, I greatly encourage you to at least get a consult, and I would recommend this office. Just make sure you are asking questions of your insurance company and to the office itself when it comes to money and coverage.

I have a second rhinoplasty with Dr jonh aging and Dr Fox paying hospital fees again. My nose now......4/28/15 looks like a have a car accident or something. They put too much cartilage, they took cartilage from my ears and the scars are in the back and inside of the ears. I have to make sure to cover my ears with my hair now. Dr Derr was suppose to reduce a little bit of fat or cartilage from the tip of my chin.....I ended with a big scar and not different at all ....he told me you can always used make up!!!!!..now I have to put make up !!!!!really. I have buttocks Implant and get the infection at the hospital (the super bug) after months dealing with antibiotic and a lot stress thinking that I was probably going to die. After healing I have a little bit string coming from the top of the buttocks, I went to see Dr Fox since it was the day for my following for my nose. I ask If I can have a prescription.....before a little of string been cut. This woman Christie Davis the Plastic surgeon who organize all the appointment for Dr derr and Dr Fox....she call me at home making fun of me saying that I am sorry I just think that what you have its so funny, she call me say .....Doctor Jonh .....jajajajajajakja........surgery..jajajajajajajajaja to remove jajajajajajajajajaja from you butt. I was on the phone in shock just thinking that everyone of the staff was laughing about me. She was suppose to tell me that there is going to be a surgery for me ...... just like that ...what unprofessional woman. on my following I have a surprise we have a surgery for you. Doctor John cut the incision again...he cut it completely, ohhhhhhhh my God, I was so scare. Then I got another infection a different one, more like fluid from bactria. to resume...... I complaint about this woman and If someone could probably told me about that surgery I will say NO!!!!!!! It was already heal . Yes I am familiar with mother nature..... mother nature ......mother nature over and over. and he never give me straight answers. They don't want to deal with me anymore, the stiches were open and the Implant is showing. They decide to remove the Implants again another decision to protect themselves, Dr john say that we have an agreement and that there is not medical malpractice in there. He will not close the stiches until I pay for hospital fees. He left me with no medical care. And I am crying, and crying. today is April 27 of 20015 and I am in really bad pain.....and Doctor Derr and Doctor John send me a letter saying that I am not aloud to go there other wise security will there for me. .....I can imagine how they laugh about womens situation.....We are trying to get our confidence back.....at the end I can not eat,sleep or enjoy thing ....I am in lot stress and tears. I can see the muscles inside my buttock with the flesh meat. What they did to me is unfair. I am worry I am embarrassed of people making jokes of me. I am frustrating and heart broken......

I'm shocked someone of Dr. O'Daniel's caliber would allow his patients be spoken to by his staff with such disrespect. I've had friends have procedures with Dr. O'Daniel and had very similar issues. I have worked with Center for Beauty (Sean McGuire) in Louisville Ky for a month while being gaslit…read moreand manipulated to keep quiet, I am done keeping quiet. I am stuck looking like this because I went in for under eye filler Jan 3rd, he (Dr Sean McGuire) decided I needed it in my cheek not under my eye. I asked to be seen after extreme pain and no filer under my eye and large pockets in my cheek, they saw me on the 14th and he said as long as you can't see the pain it doesn't matter, I asked if the filler had gone into my cheek by mistake because I do not see it under my eye only in my cheek, he stated "No not by mistake, I put it in your cheek", I said "I wanted it under my eye, not in my cheek at all." He laughed and stated "I've been doing this 18 years I think I know where you need filler." I stayed silent, completely baffled." He offered to put the filler in the place I asked for it initially, I said yes absolutely that would be great, he drew it with a pencil where I wanted it and I agreed. After injecting it I looked in the mirror and saw my cheek was even larger. I didn't know what to do or say and just left and contacted the manager. She stated she did not want me to be unhappy and would like to see me back I said I am literally moving out of state next week and can not come in, and I said quite frankly if I could come in I would not, the doctor was extremely aggressive and rude and would not want him to touch me again. She said to continue sending photos and after day 14 of it does not look better there will be a refund or partial refund or some kind of resolution. Still unhappy with her answer I said okay and kept sending photos, day 14 I sent this photo, both the nurse and the office manager responded, saying it looked great. On day 20 I reached out as I had not heard anything back from them as far as a resolution goes, only how great it looked. I sent this email where I had no response. "Hello, it is now day 20 since I have had my follow up visit where the filler was placed in my cheeks again. My last email I had requested a refund, again and that has not been replied to. I am sending this email to request a refund for the filler that was placed in my cheek Jan 3rd. I was told there would be a resolution on day 14 and it is now day 20. I feel like I'm getting the runaround at this point. I would like a direct answer on this matter. Thank you." On day 25 I called and the office manager stated that I would not be given a refund or any resolution and that they think it looks great and are very satisfied with how it turned out. She said she spoke with the doctor and he would not agree to any resolution. So all this to say, if this is how you want to look, go to Center for Beauty and see Sean McGuire.
