I went in for a massage because I have been having a lot of pain in my shoulders. Marvin listened attentively to me describe my issues and my sensitivity. He gave me a great message and helped alleviate my pain. Marvin was very friendly. He had the right amount of conversation with me, talkative enough in the beginning to understand my needs and make me feel welcome and comfortable. Yet he knew when to be quiet and let me float off into complete relaxation. I plan to go back to him. I highly recommend Noelle Spa. Had a terrible experience here with a keratin treatment. The first treatment was performed by an inexperienced stylist. When I called and went back for a repeat treatment, the technique was correct but, again, it didn't work. The product does have bad batches and this could've been the case, but I specifically asked if they'd checked their communication from the company and was assured it was fine - although it was the same bottle as they'd used four days prior. I am so frustrated as a result of this experience - While Noelle is very professional, warm, and friendly - I will not go back to the salon again. read more

First time here as I am new to the area. First impression coming in was that the Outside of building needs a clean up - lots of "stuff "scattered around the building . I Felt that salon was Missing the spa like feel- spa massage area is upstairs -old and looks worn- Not cozy or relaxing . Another update to my original review. I called and spoke to Noelle and re-booked a new appointment for a keratin treatment free of charge since the last one did not work. Noelle was very courteous on the phone and sounded sincere that she wanted me to get the service I paid for (even though it was originally a groupon). This time I saw Vanessa, she did a great job and this time the treatment worked as it had in the past (I waited to review it again until I was sure it took). I'm giving it another thumbs up since by offering to do it over I think the customer service deserves it. read more

I wanted to love the option for a wash & blow-out on Sundays and/or early mornings, but the washes have been lacking unfortunately. The stylists seem to lack experience is proper washing techniques, leaving product in my hair and clearly not leaving me with fresh hair. I really hope the management sees this and fixes it, because the rest of it really works and they have the only option in the area for this! read more

I am a busy working mom of two and I rarely get the opportunity to treat myself. My husband surprised me with a gift card and on a day off out the kids in daycare so I could have some me time. He booked me a mani pedi. I haven't had one in months so I was super excited. When I sat down for the pedicure I told the girl my feet needed some tlc! She didn't cut my nails, timidly shaped them, and FORGOT TO SCRUB THE DEAD SKIN WITH THE PUMICE SPONGE! I didn't stop her because I thought for sure it was coming until she started draining the water and painting!!! Fast forward to the shellac manicure.... she didn't do a great job cleaning up the cuticles. As a matter of fact when she got up to wash her hands or something I was pushing back dead skin hoping she would clip it when she got back. The shellac is so sloppy I'll be lucky if it doesn't start peeling in a week. There's paint on my skin and cuticles and it literally looks like my 8 year old did it. All in all it cost me 80 dollars plus a tip. I left there feeling like I needed to stop somewhere else to get my nails fixed and my feet scrubbed. Totally disappointed. I still have quite a bit of money left on my gift card and unfortunately will never go back. I was really hoping to love this place as it's super close to my house but this is the worst 80$ I've ever spent. read more

A few weeks ago a friend from work and I decided to indulge ourselves after a particularly stressful few months of work. We found Noelle's day Spa based on yelp reviews and decided to give it a whirl. We had a custom package made which consisted of massage, body wrap, facial, lunch, mani and pedi. We took a Thursday off to do this and the spa wasn't to crazy so we felt like VIP. I couldn't have been happier with the staff or the treatments. The receptionist was great, offering us drinks and taking care of our lunch and making sure we had what we needed. As for the treatments we had Peggy and Nicole all day. The massage was super relaxing and was the first time I have gone to get a massage from a spa and not been in pain for the few days afterwards. The wrap was great. we were hesitant to do this treatment since we didn't know what it involved, but we were offered robes and always covered so there was never a reason to worry and you could really just relax. The facial was amazing and 3 weeks later, my face still feels tight and soft. By the time the body treatments were over, it felt like I had been on vacation for a week, and all work stress seemed light years away. After lunch we had our manicures and pedicures. Again, Peggy and Nicole were so much fun. They are they type of staff that if you want to be left alone, they will go about their day, but if you want to gab, they are extremely personable and easy to talk to. We are planning to do another girls day off later on in the summer and we will absolutely be requesting Peggy and Nicole again. Thanks for the fantastic day off. I was greeted warmly by the receptionist on my visit to the Salon. I was introduced to Noelle who my Appointment was with. She was extremely nice! the girl who did my shampoo was also very friendly! I was impressed by the brightness and cleanliness of the salon. I consulted with Noelle prior to my cut, then she proceeded to give me a great cut in a new style, which I loved!! The overall experience for me was very pleasant, everyone was friendly and professional. On leaving I was presented with a gift bag containing a coupon for my next visit, plus a free sample of product. A nice touch! Couldn't get in for a pedicure where we had planned and found this place on Google that said open Sunday which is unusual for salon/spas. So we called and they were able to get us in for two pedicures. Both the ladies who performed the service were friendly, polite and skilled. It was a very relaxing experience and the prices were in line with what you'd expect for a spa pedicure at a salon. Would definitely go back! read more

No thanks. I give them 3 stars because they were not horrible but the prices don't justify the service/experience. The salon was under construction and everything just seemed flustered. The receptionist was new but really confused the entire time with every question we had (How much is this? Where is this color polish? Do you have shellac swatches?). We had some issues with gift cards (they were old because we had a so-so experience using them before). All three of us had manicures and pedicures together but my mom's was delayed so she was 30 minutes behind us the whole time. It seems like they could definitely do a nice ladies day there if they figured out the timing. Two girls went after us and seemed to have the same thing. My manicurist was really nice but her outfit was so inappropriate. I could see her bum and she kept yanking down her dress which would then expose her boobs... Not really a professional salon outfit! The other women were dressed well but I can't believe her boss wouldn't say something. My shellac also only lasted 1.5 weeks, boo. My pedicure still looks good 3 weeks later though. read more

First visit w Erin for cut and Keratin. She took the time to listen to my goals for cut and style. I wanted my hair less frizzy and curly but still have body. It worked!! So many compliments!!! I went back for color and highlights and she was like a scientist and artist! Found a beautiful set of colors and highlights for the prettiest auburn hair color. Firstly the ladies working there were all very nice. I purchased a Groupon for the Prima Fleur Hydrating Facial, regularly $125, Groupon was $57. I'm new to the area and reviews were ok so I figured why not. The 2nd floor is the "spa," it's extremely dated everything is mis-matched and the room I was in looked like it was storing old chairs. And the bed was so uncomfortable, I got up with a horrible pain in my neck (I'm 29). Now the facial. I used to live in Los Angeles, I've had many facials and I know what a good one is. Everything started off ok, cleaning off my skin, exfoliating, etc. The steamer was over my face while I got a "hand massage." I'm going to use the term massage loosely because it was pathetic. The steamer was fine, but it was a bit to close to my face, when it was moved from over my face, my face was drenched. Not the point of a steamer. Then she did "extracting." Again, using the term loosely. I'm not quite sure she even used a tool. It was a sad excuse. Then the cucumber mask was applied, after that was put on she wrapped my hands in hot towels and stuck them in plastic bags. NOTHING WAS PUT ON MY HANDS. it was the most pointless thing I've ever seen during a facial. I laid there for a bit while the mask set and the wet towels on my hands dripped everywhere. My face was wiped off with what I'm pretty sure was the 8th washcloth used. Put sunscreen on, and I was done. Essentially every product that got put on, got wiped off, except the sunscreen. My face was not hydrated in the least. When I got up I looked at the products they were using because I didn't notice them when I came in. The 3 bottles I saw were some brand called Gigi and you can purchase a bottle at Ulta for $3.99. EXCUSE ME. You're charing $125 for a facial, and using products less than $5. Ten minutes after leaving the shit put on my face started rolling off. I got home, washed my face, with the very good products I have, and that was that. What a waste of time and money, I could have done that entire facial 10x's better at home. read more

I've been going to Noelle Day Spa & Salon to get my hair cut for about a year now and am happy to report that I've had a pleasant experience each time I went. I have thick, curly, and coarse hair which can be very difficult to cut, but even their Junior stylists do a great job! I have yet to leave unhappy. Most recently, I visited the salon to correct a completely and totally botched color job that I received at a "high-end" salon in providence. When I say botched I mean horrible, bleach blonde, thick/streaky highlights all over my light brown hair and an ombre fade to a lighter blonde that was so brassy it was pretty much orange. I saw Joan and immediately felt comfortable due to her over 20 years of experience as a hairdresser. She explained to me why my hair turned orange when it was lightened and had a ton of knowledge about the color science behind dying hair. She then came up with a game plan to fix my hair while minimizing damage and it came out GREAT! I wasn't expecting her to be able to do a lot because of how bad it was when I came in, but now I love my color! Will definitely be returning next time I have to dye my hair. Highly, highly recommend for color corrections and cuts! read more

After leaving a hair appointment unsatisfied, Noelle called me and asked me to come back in for a second appointment to have the look I wanted. I met with Nicolette, who was very personable and knowledgeable. I came in for a cut and balayage. After showing her photos of what I wanted, she worked her magic on my hair, explaining each step of the process and how it would look as she went. She was clearly very experienced and made me feel totally comfortable through the process. She gave me the option to choose which styling products she used and styled my hair exactly the way I wanted. I've honestly never left a hair appointment happier! I have always had a more than pleasant visit to Noelle day spa. Friendly and knowledgable staff and very accommodating. Clean and professional environment. Beverages such as coffee and water offered while waiting which is always a plus. I have only really had hair cuts here and don't have much experience with the spa services, so I cannot comment on that. My sister is handicapped. She called Noelle's to see if they could give her a pedi in a wheelchair. They set up a portable pedi for her. She went back last week and the 3 girls went above and beyond for my sister. They were able to get her up on the pedi chair. They were all very helpful and made her feel very comfortable. It has been 40 years and she was able to get a real pedi. I cannot say enough about the service you get here. They do great work and are very caring. read more

I tried really, really hard to love this place having various treatments there in the spirit of giving the whole staff a chance, but ultimately, I can't recommend this salon. Haircut - meh. Massage - left me bruised and sore for two days. 1st Botox - okay, decent even. 2nd Botox - jumbled my vision for 30 minutes (!!!) 1st pedicure - meh. 2nd pedicure - incomplete and sloppy. The problem I experienced was being tended to by seemingly inexperienced staff members (nervous/disinterested/bored). I was also never made to feel comfortable. Chilly rooms. Tepid tea. The endless jabbering of staffers and constant clickety-clack of heels echoing on tile set my teeth on edge. Not a relaxing spa environment at all. And certainly not worth the fees charged. I was in great need for a cut and color but finding it tough to schedule due to work and childcare so made a last minute appointment on a Sunday afternoon. Great experience with Nicolette who I had never had before. She did an awesome job on my cut and highlights. She was very kind and listened to what I was asking for. She's great! We have had our hair done by several of the staff and have never had any problems or complaints. They each go the extra mile to satisfy my daughter (which is not easy!). What?? She then proceeded to repeat over an over again 'I don't know how this could have happened'. Well, I know how. They made a mistake! I went in to try noelle because i was hoping for a great salon in this area as I have been driving to rhode island for years. Mistake. I was booked with Vanessa for a color and cut. Her assistant applied half my color and she did the rest. She never came back to check how I was processing and her assistant washed me after 40 minutes without having the stylist check to see if I was even done! Hello I am a new client you don't know me or my hair! I didn't even see her again until i was walked downstairs for the cut nd blow dry which she had her assistant start blow drying because she was busy drying someone else. (guess she forgot about my cut)My color came out un even and under proceeded on one side. I wanted to cry! I drove down to my regular stylist the next day and he asked me if a child applied my color. I am so shocked by the high reviews and constant accolades this place gets. I've only been for nails, so maybe the day spa where the facials happen is different, but the nail area is GROSS! Its dated, dirty and not very "spa" like. I expect a day spa to be tranquil and most are meticulously decorated. My old nail tech retired (oh what i wouldn't do to get her back) so I was looking for someone to remove my shellac and reapply. It took her a half hour to get my shellac off! She said, "boy thats on there". I was horrified to sit in a bowl of acetone (shellac is supposed to get wrapped w/acetone soaked cotton/foil) for 15 minutes only then to have her dig and grind it off. I should have ran out at that moment. Her shellac job was thick, bumpy and all over my cuticles and fingers. I have NEVER seen such a botch job!! She needs to go get some continuing ed on how to properly apply this stuff. Needless to say, I soaked it off as SOON as I got home. Awful. read more
