Raul! This is now our 4th time using Nogi Electric in our Family. I cannot even begin to explain how amazing and compassionate Rauls team is at Nogi Electric. Last month i gave his team a call and let them know that i had needed to get a 60 AMP outlet installed , and wired out to my detached garage for my Tesla. Along with an Outlet installed in my Hallway, and in the Garage. I originally had Raul come out first to quote me. After receiving his quote, i knew it was going to be expensive, but still i had called around to 2/3 other electricians just to see what they were going to quote me. My Grandmothers electrician was 500$ above Rauls Price, AND i wouldn't be able to get the two outlets installed in my home that i had wanted additionally. Nobody can beat Rauls pricing, service, and professionalism. Hands down, do not look elsewhere. Raul was Sooo helpful. I spent a week trying to figure out why my outlets in the bathroom quit working and Raul knew exactly what the issue was after a short diagnostic test. Fixed it in 10 minutes. I had a lot of questions for him regarding other projects I wanted to complete around the house as well and he was so informative and knowledgable about many systems other than just electrical. I run a children's home and our breaker trips if we turn on the entry, dining room, and living room lights. I called Nogi and a few days later they went out, diagnosed an issue with the main panel, had to involve the APS to fix, told me it costs $3000 which would be partially reimbursed by APS, and explained this was a serious fire hazard and needed to be fixed now. What could I do, I mean - read the reviews, who doesn't love Raul! So when APS came out I was told that Nogi wasn't even allowed to dig this deep into my electric panel. We should have gone straight to them to make the repair. They also wouldn't reimburse me. I still don't know what the $3000 went toward but I just rolled with it. After the repair, I asked Raul when he was going to complete the original request - we can't turn on the light in 3 rooms at the same time - and he told me he wouldn't be able to get me on the schedule for 2 to 3 months. Can anyone say sucker? its hard to articulate how deeply troubling this was to comprehend. I trusted they knew what they were doing and would do the right thing. I was wrong and paid a steep price. I'm so baffled by the handful of good reviews. I am an owner of condo in midtown Phoenix and attended HOA meetings for our massive complex remodel some years ago, including rewiring of our entire complex. Nogi's sales team won the bid.. they seemed professional and showed us proposals that seemed great. Our board agreed to a certain type of lights to be installed (big posts lights) throughout our complex, and somehow when we agreed to a price, they changed the lights on us to mini strips of lights that's stuck (like glued or nailed) to our brick walls. No way in hell those would cost anywhere near as much as the post lights. I remember an owner at the meeting who was a lawyer being upset at their bait and switch, but someone on the board convinced her these will be better in the long run. Ok, but the initial proposal were not these lights. That should have been our first clue of things to come. Their contract also agreed on them maintaining the exterior electrical on our complex for years to come. I kid you not, the new lights they installed by my unit died in a few months. Ok fine, they are to maintain it so they'll fix it right? They did for the first year or so... but off they kept dying on us. And I'm talking an entire wall's worth. Each time, the lights would last a month or two... then just a few weeks, and then the fixes went from frequent... a few weeks, to waiting months for them to fix it. Eventually, as of last year, they stopped responding and we had to find a completely new company to try to fix their lights. The last time... the lights along the wall by me were out 8 months. It took of 8 months of no response from them for us to find another company to deal with this. Our HOA paid a TON of money on that contract with them. I guess we believed them cuz they had nice shirts and nice folders for their proposal. The new company we used said it took them forever to figure out the wiring cuz they made it really confusing and left nothing behind for us to reference. The new company fixed the lights... and they went down ONE week later cuz of the messed up wiring and/or horrible quality of the Nogi strip lights. Those Nogi lights are still haunting us. But hey, as long as they got their money upfront and false promises of maintaining our complex for years to come! Buyer please beware. read more

This company is a joke. I contacted this company based on a referral from one of my clients that uses Nogi. I am a general contractor so I am extremely knowledgeable in just about every trade including electrician. I have a new 2000 sqft shop being built on my property and I need it wired up. In order to wire it up my service needs to be upgraded to 400 amps. This requires trenching from the transformer to to the existing panel and installing a new panel then trenching 250' across the property to the new shop. Raul came out to the property and we discussed what needed to be done and I gave him the contact info to the SRP designer. He said he would have pricing to me within a day. After a week I called the office to ask when I would receive the quote and the receptionist had no idea what I was talking about. She contacted Raul then called me back and said that Raul had been trying to contact the designer but couldn't get in touch......RIGHT!. She then said she would have the quote to me later that day. After two weeks I still had not received anything so I called several times over a few days and my call was never answered. I called the designer and he said nobody had called him. Later that day I received a call from the receptionist and she told me that she finally got in contact with the designer and we had to trench from the transformer to the house. I couldnt believe what she was telling me....she was telling me that exact thing that I requested a price on.......3 weeks earlier. I told her that I already knew what had to be done and that Raul was already out to the property and all I needed was the damn price. Once again she said she would have it over to me that day.... Its been about 3 weeks since that last call. I have a feeling that this company is not competent to enough to complete a large job like this and is better off installing lights and ceiling fans. read more

He went above and beyond what was discussed, taking the time out of his schedule to walk me through my house's electrical system, the shortfalls and the quick repairs that needed to be made. He also let me know about a few repairs that may need to be addressed in the future but didn't need to be done today. This is the type of review I hate to write. Unfortunately, circumstances require that I tell you about my experience with Nogi Electric in an effort to save others from making a mistake. I contracted Nogi Electric to wire a new construction residential property. Raul and his crew were very attentive during the project and had great ideas on how it should be done. I even purchased their custom made lighting for the house which was more expensive, however, he is very passionate about his products and I decided to go ahead with his recommendations. He also automated my house, I was leery about it but he guaranteed that everything would be set up properly, he would spend the time to teach me how to use it, and would always be there if I had any problems. This was a large project with a cost close to $20K. It involved several payments which were all made as soon as the invoice was received. Although the project wasn't completed he sent me an invoice for full payment. Against my better judgement, I sent him full payment since he just had some final repair work to complete. Once he received payment he disappeared. All calls and texts went unanswered, and calling his office resulted in staff acknowledging that he was not returning calls but would again give him the message. At this point, I have custom work that has not been completed, fixtures that he promised would be installed missing, and most importantly, training on how to use this complicated system undone. Raul is a very nice guy, but his follow through is horrendous. He takes on more than he can handle and must figure "it's good enough" and move on to the next project. read more

At the time Raul came over, my girlfriend and I were trying to install a ceiling fan in the house but hit a roadblock. Raul is so awesome he not only walked us through the installation, he showed us how it's done! He helped us out and it wasn't even part of why I called him!
