Excellent. They are my regular vet and they have provided excellent care for my dog. It is usually easy to get a timely appointment for either routine or sudden issues that need attention. The only annoying thing is the constant auto-generated requests for reviews, even for simple med/Rx food refills. I'm not gonna keep reviewing my regular vet repeatedly. We had a major surgery for a bladder stone removal booked for Friday, July 10. I had received an automated message Thursday morning to confirm the surgery which I replied to with confirmation. Then, in the late afternoon I was told that we were removed from the schedule due to no response from my behalf. They said they called me at 9 am and I didn't answer so they removed my dog from their schedule. In truth I didn't receive a call until 2:10 pm, I didn't answer however I called back within 15 minutes. After a day of phone tag, I received a call from them just an hour before they closed to let me know they would not be able to perform the surgery as they had removed my dog from the schedule since I "missed" their call at 9 am. Again, I had never received a call from them in the morning - just the automated text for confirmation. I asked what their next soonest availability was and they said the next two weeks were booked and we would have to go somewhere else. I also would like to add that we did call other vets to see what the other options for treatment would be, and one of the vet hospitals we reached out to had requested medical records from Nohl. This was another factor to my dog's surgery being cancelled, because the receptionist desk assumed that we would be going somewhere else for surgery instead of contacting me for confirmation. This was truly a disappointing experience as we had nothing but good things to say prior to this incident. The communication was incredible up until the day before surgery. Now, I have to find another vet, pay another exam fee, and possible prolong the condition my dog is in. read more

This place is a great place. I used to bring my dog Picasso here and he loved it. He was always waggling his tail whenever he would enter this clinic and that said a lot because I used to take him to another one In Tustin and they always had to put the dog muzzle and at nohl ranch they never had to do that. They took care of him and now he passed away. Since I had a great experience with Nohl ranch now I started bringing my puppy Xica and she also loves it. I must say the front office girls are really nice and make feel comfortable. If I need an appointment same day they accommodate me. I highly recommend this place. read more

First, the caring aspect of the front reception is gone. The new, young girl has made multiple mistakes in communication, billing, and appointments and has no care or professionalism. The office manager is clearly burned out and the only one that seems to be genuinely happy and caring is the Assistant Manager. There are several issues leading up to the most recent but I will stick to the most relevant one. I brought my cat in on Friday (1/2/26) to see Dr. Gouda as she was not eating, vomiting, sleeping all day, and had peed once in 48 hours. She did a UA and X-ray and stated she was constipated. They gave her fluids, and an enema. My cat continued to decline through the weekend, she was still not eating, peed once, and was not drinking fluids on her own. I brought her back on Monday (1/5) to Dr. Louka. He seemed abrupt and stated her exam is fine and the labs he ran were fine. He gave her an appetite stimulant and said she is just stressed and to give it more time. To have a cat stop eating, barely pee and not drink for over a week to just be constipated and stressed was not acceptable. My cat went from playing and running around to listless and just curling up and sitting or hiding. I took her to another doctor for a second opinion. He was very concerned and referred her to emergency services. My beautiful cat passed away the next day in the hospital from SEVERE hypotension and shock from dehydration and severe pancreatitis. I am sickened and overwhelmed with grief knowing her passing could have been avoided. read more

I have a very fearful terrier and they handle her, Naira, with such care. Nail trims are denied at groomers because she's so stressed. I'm able to get her excellent care and trims at reasonable prices. I also take our new puppy, Maybelline that loves people but hates her feet touched. I love this vet office. We are always given 2 price lists, the "needed" vaccines or treatments, and the "recommended" vaccines or treatments and I think that's the best way to go when handling procedures or testing for pets. As a pet parent, of course I would like to save money but if the veterinarian believes something else that's not required should be included in the visit, by all means DO IT. That's what I love about this place. The extra tests or procedures are always optional and they never push it but they do offer it if they think your pet could benefit from it. It's all about transparency and other places do not do that, they sneak in the additional tests that were probably not even necessary and here they'll be upfront about it. I will always recommend this place to anyone that asks. read more

Been coming here for 10 years for Dr. Louka and eventually came in Cara. These 2 are the best people we have ever met in regard to taking care of our pets. They are both very honest and passionate about what they do and prioritize the pets and their wellbeing. Their quality of care is unmatched. These 2 are the dream team!! Unfortunately we took our 2 dogs recently and you can feel the difference without Cara or Dr. Louka being there. I just learned today Cara is no longer with the company and that is such a shame! I need to leave this review here today because I was in the office to get my dog checked out for what I thought was a small problem but turned out to be huge. Long story short I needed to let my dog of 12 years go that day. Max wouldn't have survived the surgery. My husband and I were devastated but the vet tech with Red hair and tattoos was so supportive she was kind and compassionate but we were unable to thank her for her kindness out of our own surprise and sadness. I've been taking my dog here for some time. What the front desk staff lacks is attention to detail. Where they would forget a few vaccinations during our visit and we would have to visit again the following week. They do not look at the scheduled vaccinations or tests that are transparent on their file where I get a copy from their records. BTW, these comments re Kara are not true. Every time I went in there, she was always negative, never cared for dogs and I've heard her being snappy at the Vet plenty of times. I believe those are fake reviews. read more

Samah Gouda is absolutely intense she basically inflicts fear as a tactic to get new clients to spend whatever I nearly was charged $900 for deworming because she said my cat was lethargic, had asthma, and was dehydrated yet they gave him no IV which makes zero sense if he was dehydrated he eats and drinks normally throughout the day my main concern was that he had to be dewormed and she spoke zero about that like if she didn't read the chart of why I was there she decided to focus on something super irrelevant without focusing on my primary concern then she had the audacity to roll her eyes at me and sigh like if it was my fault why she didn't know he was there for deworming absolutely unprofessional and rude behavior she was sporadically talking to me like she was in a rush or freaked out it was super unpleasant do not bring your pets here zero compassion and she solely scolds instead of having solutions and care. Time 2.5 hrs absolutely ridiculous Response to George L Thank you for your response. I understand that as veterinarians you have an obligation to inform clients of all findings and possible concerns. However, my experience at your clinic left me feeling that fear was being used as a tactic rather than clear, balanced communication. When I brought my pet in, my intent was deworming, yet the focus quickly shifted to additional, costly tests and treatments. While I understand it's your duty to discuss findings, the way it was presented made me feel pressured and that declining care was not truly an option. I want to be clear that I always seek what's best for my pet, but I also value transparency and trust. The approach I experienced did not make me feel comfortable, and I did not feel that my pet's immediate needs were prioritized in a way that matched my expectations. I appreciate the care you provided, but I will be continuing with my primary veterinarian going forward, as I feel more confident in their approach and communication style. My pet isn't and wasn't dehydrated he eats and drinks normal and I already took him to Primary and he did indeed suggest I DON'T put him on the 5 medications she prescribed as they could RUIN my senior cats kidneys & liver ! I did NOT put him all the meds she "recommended" so it was indeed a waste of my time. Thank you, Update 9/17/25 I had a check up with my primary vet and Nohl Ranch Animal hospital was being difficult through the phone to send over my pet's notes which they didn't have meaning the doctor wrote no notes during my pets visit this is absolutely ridiculous after 12 days of my initial visit they can't even properly have a report for my pet even after my vet requires them so they don't redo the same things this place did the lady on the phone was being super difficult with the lady at my primary idk what kind of business they are trying to run but it's absolutely embarrassing and come to find out they bent and broke my cats nail during his visit there ! I have been taking my 4 doggies here for over 5 years now. Both doctors and the rest of the staff have always taken such good care of all of my dogs. But I especially want to highlight Dr. Gouda. I took my dog Kiwi in for a bath and she noticed a lump on her belly. She immediately told me about it and we scheduled the surgery right away. Kiwi has made a full recovery and I can't thank Dr. Gouda enough. At the moment she is also caring for my dog Walter. He has been dealing with ongoing medical issues and Dr. Gouda has been especially careful with Walter and I can see the passion she has for making sure he is doing well. I am extremely grateful to her and knowing I can trust her during this difficult time with Walter as we find a way to help him. It is hard to find a place that really cares. Do not take your animal here...they do not do thorough checks....and receptionist are rude and so is the girl Doctor.. same attitude I took my dog at 11:40 to get checked I left the doctors around 2:15 paid over $900 They gave me directions to to give my dog medication and at 4:20 i was going to give my dog her medication starting so I had to open up her mouth and noticed a big red lump on her gum I called the doctors at 4:30 and try and explain if they checked her gums they place me and hold.. they asked the doctor and the doctor said yes and I respond how did you miss this bump they said it happened after because the doctor checked the gum... I asked if I could send a picture and they said if I want or to go to the emergency if I feel like it's an emergency when they are still open until 5:00pm... I hung up.. they called back and the doctor said that she only check the side of the gums... not the front... what the hell you're suppose to check all parts of the gums.... The Dr didn't own up to her fault of being horrible or accountability to her receptionist rudeness... now I have to take my dog to emergency for something they may have done or not caught when I was just there ..!!! Do not go here .!!!! They do not respect you or your animals .... So here is a picture of what the doctor did not catch... how can you miss this checking !!!! Hello! I would like to say that I was very pleased with my first visit here! I brought my little pit in for an ear infection and nail trim. The receptionist was very kind and made the check in very easy for us. There wasnt any waiting, she got her weighed and seen right away. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the vet who I spoke with. She gave me a lot of interesting and helpful information about dogs with frequent ear infections and how to prevent them. She didnt rush and had also given my dog a nose to tail exam even though we were only there for her ears. I appreciated this so I know my dog is healthy overall. Additionally, they did a great job on the nail trim. The last thing i would like to address is that they looked over her records form other vets and noticed she was due for her booster vaccines so we got that done as well. Overall, I found this vet to be a quality place with caring staff and it was extremely clean with a pleasant atmosphere. 5 stars for sure! Thank you!​ read more
