It's just taking time. She doesn't like the medicine. I have to hide the medications in her food and try to "trick" her to eat it. It works though. For the most part. I previously came to Orange Pet Clinic a few years ago when I needed a USDA-approved veterinarian in order to travel internationally with my dog. Although my dog had already received the appropriate vaccinations, he needed an updated rabies vaccination and an EU-compliant microchip. The staff at Orange Pet Clinic were kind and able to assist me with everything required. Since then, I have also brought my two other dogs in for routine visits as needed. I have consistently been helped within minutes of arriving. The wait times and overall visit lengths are typically short, and the cost is relatively low compared to other veterinary clinics I have visited in Orange County, depending on the services needed. Most recently, however, I visited the clinic with a client of mine whom I had referred due to a very poor experience she had with her previous veterinarian. During this visit, her pet was taken to a different room for the exam rather than being examined in the room we were placed in. We never met or spoke with the veterinarian. Staff instead assumed that my client's relative was the owner and communicated exclusively with her (over the phone). After the examination (which we were unaware had already happened), the technician came into our exam room stating that everything was fine, the bill had already been paid, and that we were all set. When my client and I tried to bring up our concerns and ask questions about her pet's apparent pain, the technician responded a bit dismissively, insisting the pet was not in pain. She didn't really seem to want to engage in any further discussion with us, despite the fact we didn't know anything pertaining to the vet's assessment. The appointment was extremely brief, and we left with more unanswered questions and concerns than when we arrived. While the technician was not overtly rude, her approach lacked tact and professionalism. Unfortunately, because of this latest experience, I'm no longer comfortable referring my clients to this pet clinic. I typically recommend businesses only when they consistently demonstrate strong customer service, quality care, and professionalism, and when I feel confident that those I refer will be treated with kindness and respect. Unfortunately, this experience fell short of those standards, and it was disappointing--and embarrassing--that the recommendation I made to my client did not reflect the level of care I expect. read more

I'm very disappointed with this clinic. They charged me a lot of money and did nothing to truly help my dog. The doctor told me to just bring her back if she kept itching, but when I did, they gave her a shot that only made things worse. When I called to express my concern, the front desk staff could only apologize--which wasn't their fault, but it showed me that nothing was really being done to fix the situation. I wish I could give zero stars. Sadly, like many other clinics I've experienced, this one seems to care more about money than about actually helping pets. read more

this place is reliable. I can always get a quick appointment, usually same day if needed, which i cant say for most places. The service is usually quick and friendly, and i really have no complaints. The one thing i do wish is that they didn't take your pet to the back without you. As a pet parent, i would just prefer to be present for the exam, and it makes me a little anxious to send my pup off without me. tried to make my dog do an $1500 ultrasound when he ate underwear when they already did a xray and tried to give him anti vomiting (which made no sense if he needed to pass it). They said if he ended up needing an emergency surgery they couldn't do it because they were booked and it would have to wait. Took him to a different vet they did an xray and gave him a pill to help him poop it out and he did almost eminently. Not truthful, rude and tries to charge for unnecessary things. I came to get a "quote" for a dental cleaning and they charged me $58 for an office visit. I also understand that there is a bloodwork fee but $130 is very high charge compared to previous vets I've been to. On their website they say dental cleaning is $320 not including bloodwork, but they charge more than average for bloodwork and for an office visit which I have not had before. It feels very disingenuous in their pricing. read more

My puppy got his initial shots here. When I called because my dog was having an allergic reaction to his first bee sting they stated Dr. Lee (the only vet there I believe! could not help nor provide any referral to an emergency vet. I ended up going to VCA as it was the only one I could think of while my brain was imploding by the sheer absurdity. This vet is super lackluster and honestly it's kind of a bummer there. I would not trust them with my dog's care moving forward. Side note: they don't have a manager role there and didn't seem to care or apologize for not being able to provide help. read more

I've been coming here for about 3 years now. We live in Corona now and still make the drive because everyone here is so nice and understanding. My dog has leash reactivity and they always get us into a room quickly and we've never had an issue with them taking him in the back to get shots or blood drawn (of course he is muzzle trained). Even when another dog comes into the waiting room there is plenty of room to add distance or quickly walk outside with the two doors. read more

I've been here a couple of times after switching from another veterinarian who made me wait almost one hour after my scheduled appointments to be seen, and overdid everything in services that my bill, at minimum l, was $1,000 each time I went. I'm happy and grateful that I haven't experienced this with OPC. I can get a same day appointment and be seen on time with reasonable services that don't clear out my savings. Yes, I know there is pet insurance, but my babies are older rescues with pre-existing conditions that they are deemed ineligible for coverage. We came here last month when our dog started having digestive issues in the night. We called in the morning on Saturday and we were able to seen 30 minutes later. We were SO thankful! Dr. Lee explained everything thoroughly but in a way that a common person could understand. The staff did their best to keep our dog calm and comfortable. Dr. Lee goes above & beyond to call about updates after hours when other veterinarians either don't call to return calls let alone call at all! He is thorough and really cares about the animals in his care. I would highly recommend him! My dog was extremely sick. Dr. Lee did all in his power to rule out what could be wrong. This place I think is charging over price. I visited because this place has so many good reviews. My pet has red skin and itching, he scratches himself so I decided to bring him to this place. This time, he charged $50 just for a visit. ( Exactly mean only for "Visit") , he charged another on the invoice called " Ear Cytology" What I ask is what is it? The doctor said that would be for another $40 just checking whether his ear has an infection or not. I wonder if he is a doctor and if he already charged $50 for a visit which also includes an examination of what happened with my pet. WHY CHARGE ANOTHER $40 just to start checking has an injection or not? Could you image him showing an invoice of $472 just for your pet that has red skin? My dog just has had red skin for 2 days, it's not too bad. I have to go with him each detail so I can remove it by myself. I asked the doctor what was the best for my pet right now he said I had to choose by myself. So he charged $73 for "Bravecto "What I asked was for a flea, and I asked him again does my dog has fleas? . He said he did not know. WHAT? He does not know if my pet has fleas or not and just puts it in the invoice. I just had my pet go grooming last week before visiting him and the grooming said my pet has no fleas. Later on, I asked the nurse again after she cleaned his ear, and she also said he had no Fleas. So I assume my dog has no flea but he still wants to put this thing in the invoice. Another thing weird they always take your pet into the back room for the vaccine so how do you know if they do it or not? So this is the time to find another vet which not charge twice for examinations. read more

I went to this vet a year ago cus my puppy had grown a lil wart . The vet insisted I just do surgery to get it removed . We did it 1,200 to get a lil skin tag cut . She ended up growing one again on her leg a few months later I went to a different vet in Gardena . The vet said it's just a skin tag and it would fall off . My dog has been having horrible problems with his paws, ears, and all over his body. The symptoms include: bleeding, foul-smelling paws, infected ear with loads of wax, and bleeding sores all over his body. We took our dog to a different 4-star clinic first, and the guy basically scammed and mistreated our family. We were appalled because we spent so much money on this supposedly amazing clinician. My dog looked worst after his visits to that vet, and our financial resources were looking scant, so we started looking at options of putting him down. But then, my sister came across Dr. Lee on Yelp and decided to give this place a shot. Dr. Lee and his veterinary team were super nice and took Rascal in. They charged us a fair price for the treatment (almost 1/2 cheaper than the other vet) and even waived one of Rascal's fees. One week later and Rascal is looking great. His paws are healing, his ear is in much better condition, and he is playing ball again. Our best pal is doing great thanks to Dr. Lee and his amazing team.
