I currently go to Noir Lash Lounge in Bellevue and I'll be honest with you, they are the best that I've been to so far! I have very difficult Lashes, probably because of my hair type. I've gone to several places and many have one hell of a time with my lashes! I'm not going to lie to you though, they're time schedule rule is very off putting to say the least, especially after I had explained how difficult and unruly my lashes can be, and their prices are definitely on the higher end. But hey, you definitely pay for what you get, and that's superb quality! Needless to say they set me up with one of their senior technicians, Crissy. That first full set she sure enough didn't have enough time to completely fill on my lashes. But I pretty much assumed this would happen since I am not your average client with basic lashes. Since she is a senior tech and realized that she in fact does need more time to complete my lashes, she booked me for another appointment (free of charge of course)! I believe it was later that night or the next day. I can't recall. I continue to go to her and now there is a special note on my account requesting extra time each time I book a Fill or Fullset because she needs it in order to fill all these lashes of mine! And the price is still the same, it just depends on what look you're going for. But I really appreciate how she accommodated me based on my personal needs! And that's why I will continue to go see Crissy at Noir Lash lounge in Bellevue! And only see Crissy, because she is one of the best out there, and I think that everyone else should give her a try if you're in the Bellevue area. If she's unavailable the receptionist (who is outstanding by the way and knows how to master that schedule like a genie) will definitely hook you up with the next best person based on your needs! Tell them Ayesha sent you and don't worry, they'll take exceptional care of you! Crissy is very friendly, personable, and quick I might add! I always leave loving my lashes! She cares about you and the health of your lashes, and you just won't find that kind of person that cares on that level to not just give you what you want and end up damaging your lashes. She listens and she'll get you to where you want to be as best she can! So I value her opinion while also trying to get what I'm wanting to achieve with my lash look. Chrystal is so personable and funny, but stays focused enough to make sure that I leave lookin like the "YAAAS" queen. She is super gentle with my eyes and knows what style will compliment your eyes, even if you have uneven eyelids and wear glasses like me! The studio has a cute look/feel to it. Music choice is always on point and the temperature is just right if you want to take a nap during your appointment. They do have a rule to where you can only get 1 fill per set. I am going to be completely honest about how I feel about Noir Lash Bellevue. When I started going here I liked the process and price. But after a few lash techs that left and an owner that is worried about growing her already impressive NoirLash Lounges in Canada, Washington state, and California. I am DONE with this owner Joyce who didn't respond to emails and two messages. So I know that she is more worried about getting her lash salon in every major city. Problem is when you have to many stores and employees you are gonna miss something. JOYCE, you have missed the ball. You had a reputation for offering only lashes. You would have your tech sit with a client and ask them shape, lenths and dramatic or babydoll. I noticed that she even started offering 6sets or fills pre paid you would receive the 7th free...but if you bought this package at the new year you get an additional 15%off so you saved quite a bit. I purchased this and I still after two years haven't used them all. Here's why.....1. the techs are all in a hurry because they book one hour fifteen from sit in chair to up and out. So for 110 dollars you got a regular synthetic individual lash per eye and it looked good. I wouldn't say wow, or diva or black lashes with no hint of space. No on the contrary they made you get a new set every other time. For cleanliness. So you would have to replace every six to eight weeks. They have mini fills which are ridiculous since the regular fill is thirty minutes. Yes 65dollars for a fill. 2.i have had to have my carte blanche redone about six times in the last two years. A carte blanche is a set they advertise as the answer to the diva or mom on go who wants to look epic. Okay but they put five to ten lashes on one eye. So this 290dollar service is only a hour and forty five minutes. I went they all the girls now they have four versus ten and I would only let KELSEY do my lashes. Till I noticed she would not ask me questions I started to notice that she put on one here and there and because they are fans she didn't put a single layer down like I'm use to. So I look liked I spent five dollars and it was not even curly. I wrote to Kelsey since we are on good terms. But this last set I got was the icing on this lash addict. I had a wedding and photos, I started a new job and all looking ridiculous. This still what I'm walking around with till I go to VANITY LASH on Sunday. They offer over 200styles . They have different textures, types, length, black pink red and blue lashes and lower ones too. They have a appt booked for me for two full hours. That sounds right. I GAVE Joyce and Kelsey the manager a chance to rectify the outcome and they dropped the ball. I will not give my business to people that are complacent and don't see that they don't have a art for this practice of lash extensions. I spend a good amount of money here monthly- which they end up falling out quite often- some of that is my eyelash retention but it happens much more at noir than other lash studios. I had to cancel an appointment very close to the time because of illness. I tried to reach the numbers listed on their website to cancel and reschedule on such short notice but was met wirh voice mails and a messaging app that did not respond. Finally after receiving a message back from the owner (I believe, or maybe a manager, Joyce) she scolded me for not giving her more notice. I let her know I could not predict a sickness and she could go ahead and charge me the cancellation. Which she just continued with another text saying I gave less notice and she was being basically kind to waive the fee. I was happy to pay the cancellation versus being lectured. I guess 600 on average a month to pay for lashes doesn't come with customer service. In a era when sickness is very serious and I would hope people would help protect one another they would prefer to lecture on short notice. read more

I've been coming quite regularly since they first opened and can't really stay away for too long. Admittedly I've stretched some appointments out, motherhood will do that to you, but I can't deny that fabulous feeling I get from a brand new set. I love their flexibility. I'm one of those annoying clients that brings their baby in and I've apologized because as he's gotten older he does fidget but the technicians have been super accommodating and helpful (like picking up his Binkie when he's dropped it or working around his grabby lil hands). I know it's a distraction but no one bats an eye or even makes me feel guilty at all for bringing my baby with me (unlike other places that just don't seem that friendly or that they're too hip and cool). The key difference I feel is the staff are more genuine and down-to-earth. No intimidating tanorexics trying to sell me every product under the sun. Lastly I have poker straight lashes that point DOWNWARDS. You really need to see my before and after. I'm like a different person. And i can get away with wearing no makeup at all when my lashes are done. I can give up my nails, throw my hair up into a ponytail a little longer but give up my lashes? Never. But I guess this adamant addiction only comes from a place of serious lash envy. I would look like a little Asian schoolboy without them. But after? Even the technician is amazed when I open my eyes. This is my first lash experience, so I really didn't know what I was in for! The lounge is very swanky and clean. There's couches complete with blankets for you to lie down and get comfortable in! However, because you have to hold your head and neck still for ~1 hour +, you may get a bit stiff and uncomfortable towards the end. Dana was my lash specialist and she went through and explained the process to me and showed me a variety of lashes based on my desired look. The process itself is painless, although my eyes did water slightly towards the end because they were feeling a little irritated. However, the results afterwards were worth it! I now have lashes! They were exactly what I had requested and I've already received multiple compliments. My coworker, who's a guy, asked if I had surgery?! Hahaha . . . Hopefully they'll last the 2-4 weeks as stated. I've noticed that their lashes do not tug and get caught on makeup wipes or wash clothes, which I love. They keep your info saved from each visit so you don't have to tell the technician what you had in the past- they already know exactly what to go off of. They sell lint-free qtips which are great! Gosh, I loved it here. So here is my situation and here's how amazing Noir Lash was with me. Rewind pre-kids, so approximately 8 years ago or so, I started doing lash extensions as soon as it became a "thing." I was in love. At each appointment my lashes were getting bigger and gorgeous until a year after starting it, I developed a lovely allergy to the adhesive. For the next year, I spent time researching glues, buying them, bringing them to my technician who was amazing at the time, but finally I just gave up. The glue that did work lasted just a few days at best. Fast forward to a month ago, and I got the itch to try extensions in hopes of this time not getting the itch:) I researched salons and Noir Lash seemed like the way to go! Long story short, sadly I found out I'm still allergic but I wanted to write a 5-star review because NL is amazing!!! Here's why: 1. They patch test for free. 2. They "fixed" me up when half my lashes fell out after a fill most likely due to my allergy. For free. 3. They removed my lashes for free when my eyes swelled up after my last fill there, and they refunded me for my entire fill I had got just the day before. 4. Chrissy is s senior all-star technician who I HIGHLY recommend. She's incredibly knowledgeable and skilled and knew just what to try with me. Ironically when she did my lashes I had zero reaction. :/ So, I mourn. Until glues and I decide to be friends, it's sayanora, but Noir Lash-you're the very best of them! I have been going to Noir since December 2012 and I LOVE it. Chelsey is the gal who does my lashes every time and she is wonderful. I've been reading reviews from several people complaining that the lashes don't last more than 2 weeks and that is totally false! The one thing I learned from Chelsey is that you HAVE to take care of them! If you don't, then yes - they will fall out quickly and you'll be frustrated with how often you need to have them done. I can go a full month before noticing any thinning of my lashes because I take really good care of them. I use an oil-free eye makeup remover to make sure that my eyeliner and shadows aren't getting the lashes gunky at the end of the day. I brush them out using the lash brush they send me home with after every appointment and I use the lash seal I purchased from them daily. I don't rub my eyes or let my shower water beat on them. I would definitely say I considered not going back after my first full set because they were so uncomfortable, but I quickly learned that you do have to give yourself time to get used to them. I thought maybe they weren't applied right but that had nothing to do with it. I just needed to adjust to them. Now, I don't even notice them and often forget that they are fake. My lashes look amazing all the time and I get SO many compliments on them. Yes they are a time commitment (full set and removal is usually over 2 hours), yes it costs money, but in the end I can always expect to have amazing looking lashes that last me at least a month each time. In terms of scheduling, I've never had an issue because I always schedule my next appointment during my visits. Yes, they get booked very quickly because they are amazing and people go back. So I would definitely recommend just scheduling your next appointment at the end of each visit so you can guarantee your next appointment when you need it! Chelsey is great and I am always able to get in to see her when I need it, I always let her know in advance if I have a special event or vacation coming up so we can figure out the best timing for me to have a great new set before any big events! read more

You definitely get what you pay for here, and it sure isn't quality. I've been coming here off and on in hopes that each time it gets better since the price is so cheap compared to other places. But there's a reason it's so cheap. I hadn't been here in over a year so I decided to give it a try again. Experience 1: full set appointment 4/16. I arrived for a full set and when I sat down I explained that I wanted what I had previously been getting- a cat eye style that tapered in length to the 15s. The worker told me that that's not what I had previously had and she wouldn't recommend the 15s because they twist and look bad. I thought maybe I had been mistaken so I agreed to go with the 13s. About 15 minutes in she said "and you're here for the pump up the volume, right?" I had no clue what that was and she explained that it was something more expensive than the full set. I told her no I just wanted the full set and she continued to do the process. When I was finished she said "oh I thought you were a different customer so I was wrong about the 13s and the pump up the volume" ??? What? She was the one to check me and had the ability to view my history with Noir yet thought I was an entirely different customer? The lashes looked fine so I didn't say anything about it. I got home and was looking at them to see that the outer portion of my eyes had no eyelashes attached at all. I thought that was strange because I asked for the cat eye style where the outer portion should be the focus yet she had totally neglected it. I didn't have time to go back in so it was what it was. In the next few days, all of the extensions started falling out. I knew she had done them improperly because just the extension itself was falling off, not coming with my own eyelash when it naturally shedded. One week after the appointment I had about 1/3 of the extensions left. So I booked a fill. Experience 2: I went in for the fill in 4/26 and the lash tech told me that because pretty much all of the lashes had shedded and the remaining few looked like they had been done improperly she would remove them and I would need to come back in for a full set. Experience 3: I came back in to have a new tech do the lashes. She explained to me that the other set had been done improperly and she would do the full set today for free which I really appreciated, but should also have been expected if their work was done incorrectly. The appointment was for 1 hour and 30 minutes. At 45 minutes she explained to me that she was finished. I thought that was odd that she had cut the appointment time in half, she explained to me that she just worked quickly. While the lashes looked much better than the first improper set, if she had taken the full time that I payed for, they could've been a lot fuller. If I'm paying for a 90 minute session, I would expect all that time would be used regardless of how quickly the person worked. I was very disappointed in this practice. Experience 4: the tech who had done my full set told me to come in in 2 weeks to do a fill so I came in on 5/12 for a fill at 10am. I arrived and another tech told me to just wait. 10:10 rolls around and my tech yells to me from her station that she was running late. Finally at 10:15 she had finished the previous person and it was my turn. She did the lashes and at 10:30 she told me she was done. 15 minutes to do a fill?? Online I booked a 45 minute appointment and yet again, the full time wasn't used. My lashes looked no different than they did when I had walked in. In addition, the tech told me not to be concerned if she was breathing heavy and turning on fans because she had just had her second vaccine and felt horrible and was "burning up"...ummmm you probably shouldn't be at work then. Overall, I have given Noir so many chances in hopes that they improve but it just goes downhill each time. Very unprofessional churn and burn place. Total waste of money for horrible quality. Will not be returning and would not recommend. If you're thinking of going here, just don't. Save your money and go somewhere where they actually take pride in their work and do things properly. read more

They were flexible enough to squeeze me in upon a walk-in for a removal. Clean, comfortable and highly trained professionals that only use best practices and the best products. Very reasonably priced: cheaper than Pink's (down the street) and comparable with Groupon deals when you include a full set with refills. But their quality and experience tops the rest. Each lash application feels like a gentle tap. I love that they have a lash integrity policy and will not put lashes on baby hairs or on the inner lids touching the skin, and will advise you when a certain lash thickness will be too heavy for your current lash follicles. read more

Yelp describes the 2-star label as: "Meh. I've experienced better," so I'm going with it here, 'cause that was my experience with Noir. The other salon I've gone to for extensions is pricier, but those lashes lasted for so long! Almost two months until the last lashes fell out from there. Maybe it's because I had such a good experience with the other salon, and had something to compare to, but with the set I got from Noir, the lashes started falling out almost immediately, and within 2 weeks, I swear they were gone. They also didn't lift my natural lashes, so you could see the the extensions forking out from my natural ones like split ends--if that makes sense. Overall, friendly service and the lashes look fine when leaving the salon, so I'd suggest this as an affordable place to go to if you're only looking to have the extensions for a specific event. But if you're looking for something more everyday/long-term, I'd suggest checking out one of the other pricier places. Maybe the adhesive is more expensive at the pricier places and that's why it pays off? Who knows. read more

So they require you to follow a schedule, new set - fill - removal/new set -- fill - removal/new set, etc. This is disclosed to you on your first visit. On my first visit with Val (she was great) some lady frantically came in with one of her lashes glued totally incorrectly bothering her eye. Someone mentioned that this is the 3rd client from XXXX that applied lashes incorrectly. Some other girl fixed that other customer's lashes for free and she was thrilled. I scheduled a fill and told her to make sure it was with Val. After everything was set up, I re-asked her "Oh is this with Val?" her reply "Oh... Sure! Well, even if you don't get her everyone's great!" Wishy-washy. Its not like there was anyone else trying to pay/schedule so its not like she was under pressure to get me out if she messed up. I come into my appointment for fill. Okay, I was 7 minutes late.. so probably NOT a good way to start. I clearly was not scheduled with the person I asked for. During the appointment there was alot of tugging, I teared up from it, but this person was probably in a hurry. Something looked weird after my fill, it did not look as full. I just passed this off on the fact I was 7 minutes late and fills are only supposed to take 30 minutes. As I was checking out, I attempted to schedule a removal/new set as you were supposed to with their schedule. Unless I wanted to go sometime during the workday they were booked solid for 1 month in advance for removal/new set. Weekends and evenings were all booked for over 1 month. This annoyed me, I asked if I could just have another fill in 2 weeks since they had 30 minute time slots available for fills, but not 2+ hours ones for removal/new sets. She said "No you have to get a removal/new set." I know it is not her fault, she is just following procedure. I just told her this set up wasn't going to work unless they could find someone who could help me in a couple weeks (after all you're supposed to go in once every 2 weeks.. 3 weeks MAX in between unless you wanna have scary lashes). A week later I received a call. I could get an appointment whenever I wanted with a trainee.. nice option, but I'm not looking for cheap/convenience, I will pay more for something better. Meanwhile, my lashes seemed like they were extremely bare. I noticed when a false lash would fall out.. there would be 2 or 3 + natural lashes attached to 1 false lash. This is NOT supposed to happen. Most of my lashes were all glued together so as the days passed more and more lashes fell out. I had gone to another lash extension appointment at a different place a week after cause I did not understand what why my lashes looked so bad and sparse. I am so glad I decided to choose another place to get my lashes done. My lashes last 3+ weeks with the new girl I go to (not at Noir) and I don't have to get a removal/new set I just go in for a fill every 3 weeks. I am pretty busy and if I don't need to lie down for 2 hours every month somewhere, for much better results I will take it! If you are a lash extension newbie, some tips. If a false lash is glued to multiple natural lashes, if one natural lash falls out, they all fall out with it. Lesson: If you find someone here you like make sure you keep them for your appointments. I have been getting lashes for more than 2 years now, and recently had 2 appointments at Noir. My first appointment went fine, and their pricing was on par with other lash places in the area. My lashes looked fine, although it did seem like they were a little sparse compared to what I am used to. The second appointment is where I learned that you can only do 1 fill before having to get the removed (which you pay for) and a new full set (which you also pay for and is double the price of a fill.) Why? No where else I have gone has done things this way? On top of that, I feel like the person who did my lashes did an intentionally sub par job at my second visit. I will be going somewhere else, and am extremely underwhelmed with Noir's bizarre pricing and sparse technique. read more

I wanted to wait until I went in a to Noir a few times before I wrote a review. I'm definitely addicted to having lashes and I'm super picky when it comes to who does them. I have to admit that I'm pleasantly surprised with Noir! I stumbled upon it after getting my nails done at Jennifer's Nails in the same shopping center. You can't beat the prices and my lashes look great. The girls are professional and experienced. I was a little concerned about the fact that you can only get one fill before you have to get a removal and full set. In the long run it's still cheaper that all of the other salons in the area and your lashes always look new and amazing! I do hot yoga and kickboxing regularly so if my lashes can last 2 weeks though all of the heat and sweat I am happy!! I did buy the lash sealant and apply it before workouts to assist with the bonding process. It definitely helps extend the life of my lashes. I recommend buying a tube if you plan on working out on a regular basis. read more

I April / May 2012 I decided to try lash extensions for my wedding. I heard about Noir Lash Lounge from my hair stylist. It's a great value for a lash set--$75 compared to $125-150 elsewhere. After reading the web site, which promised the lashes would last for 4-8 weeks, I made just one appointment about 5 weeks before my wedding, figuring I wouldn't need a fill. When I arrived, the lash artist informed me they would only last for 3 weeks and I would definitely need a fill. Are you kidding me? So their web site is blatantly lying. Plan on 3-4 good weeks, ladies. I also wasn't prepared to lie there for 2 hours--it's definitely a long process, but it's pretty comfy. Except for the terrible Kube 93-esque music. Way too much base up in there. Anyway, with all this said, the lashes looked AMAZING! So beautiful, and surprisingly very natural. They do start to look weird when they fall out at random toward the end of your couple of weeks (think Cruella Deville). This will probably be a one-time thing for me, but I did appreciate the look for my wedding. read more

I had really high hopes for this place, and was severely disappointed. I was able to snag a free appointment for a full set with a trainee and was super excited. I've had lash extensions before and it had been a while, so I was excited to get them again, especially since I have a pageant coming up. The girl that did the extensions was very friendly and personable. We talked about what look I wanted and I told her "very bold, very long, think drag queen." She told me that sounds good and we were off. Overall, the experience was fine. Music was a little loud, but the chair was comfy and the girl kept making sure my neck was ok. When we did the reveal, I was really disappointed. The lashes she put on were the same length and thickness of my own lashes and you can't even tell that I have extensions. Not what I was hoping for. Also, she managed to get an extension glued onto my lower lash which really hurt while she was trying to take it off. As I was leaving, I was talking to the lady at the front desk and she was VERY short with me and really rude- for no reason. I feel bad complaining about a free service, but it wasn't what I asked for. I wouldn't recommend coming here and I will definitely not be back. read more

I have only been to Noir once so far, but it was positive and significantly cheaper than my previous place so I am giving it 4 stars already. If/when I become a customer for life I'll up to 5 stars. I opted for the Fling half set because my previous experience with full sets (from Wink) was it was too much for me. I fiddled with them too much, hated trying to wash my face, they were crazy expensive, and I work in a corporate office and don't want anything too extreme. I've had them 9 days and am still happy. Receptionist was helpful and my experience was great. I don't know why the other reviewers said their necks were stiff, I was cozy-comfy on pillows. The music is a bit too clubs-tactic though! I'd prefer something mellow since I'm there with my eyes closed. read more

I feel like I need to re-rate Noir Lash Lounge because of my experience with my fill. The more I looked at my lashes, the more I realized it just didn't look right. On my right eye I had one lash that almost looked like it was glued to my eyelid, as it was higher than all the other ones! I tried calling to ask to get this fixed and got an answering machine message each time! Left my number... no call back. Also, several coworkers have been referred here and they have had bad experiences. One hadn't gotten an appointment confirmation by phone, so she calls the morning of the appointment only to find out the gal she had her appointment with called out sick. They offered to get her a new appointment comped, but she would have to wait an additional week. I'm done with lashes here, I think it's time I try and find a new lasherie. read more

LOVE Noir. Plain and simple. The decor is swanky and chic. The people are nothing but friendly and appreciative. And their product is to die for! I've always wanted my lashes to look bold and dramatic. For years I tried countless mascaras but nothing did the trick. Now I don't even use it! My lash extensions not only look amazing and build my confidence, they've dramatically cut down on the time it takes for me to do my makeup in the morning. I find myself looking forward to my appointments at Noir. I lay down on their comfy couch, take an afternoon nap, and wake up looking like Snuffleupagus! Not to mention Bao instinctively knows how to make my lashes look exactly the way I picture them. You'll not find any other place as wonderful as Noir! Not to mention as price conscious. $75 for a full set?! You can't beat that! read more

This place is adorable and very cutting edge for lashes. They have good specials and are prompt with customer service. They require u to remove your set after one fill is the only thing that is different from other lash places. I understsnd about the need for cleanliness though so they are just trying to ensure proper lash care. Am loyal to this place, they always treat me great and give great customer service.
