Came in here on lunch real quick - They charge $23 dollars just for a REGULAR manicure. No gel. JUST manicure and mind you, I didn't even ask for polish because I was really just going in to remove some old gel off of my nails + $5 for gel removal. I was in the chair for less than 10 mins.... I didn't expect it to be free obviously, but charging $28 for that when I didn't even get polish on my nails JUST removed my gel polish is literally insane....I can tell this place is overpriced, and I will not come back. Ended up even convincing my boyfriend to get one too! NEGLIGENT!!!!! I received these bruises from my trip to get a pedicure on 10/9/21. I was there about an hour and a half before they closed and the manager/owner was mopping the floors and did not dry them. I got up from one of the pedicure chairs to go to one of the back rooms to get my eyebrows waxed, and slipped (while holding my daughter in my arms!!). I slipped and landed in my knees and elbows. No signs stating floor was slippery and NO APOLOGY FROM THE OWNER. All he said to me while I was checking out was "you should watch where you're walking next time"!!! They care more about The number of clients they can squeeze in than quality work. I went in for a gel mani/ delux pedi. Wish I just stuck to the classic pedi to save money because the job was super basic. Also, nails weren't filed evenly. I had to touch up my toes when I got home. As for my nails, they had me soaking in acetone for almost 15 minutes; claiming that thats how long it takes to soak off gel (this isn't my first time lady) just so she can service another client. Basically she was doing two clients at once. My job was super rushed when she got to me and my nails chipped the very next day; claiming that they would last 5 weeks. Got a mani and pedi. I usually only get a pedi and no problem, they're wonderful. Might just be the technician I got, but she drilled my cuticles so much I started bleeding (ring finger on right hand) I also asked for a light/pale pink, not this hot pink and when I spoke up to tell her I didn't chose that color, she argued it was number 47... I didn't remember what number it was, I just knew it was a light pink... She brought the color sample over and sure enough it's called "pale pink" (I still don't know what number it was...) Her coworker came over to see which color I had wanted and said "it's too light you cannot see it" . But that is what I WANTED. I originally loved this place clean and beautifully appointed very nice staff. But the last two times I was disappointed in the service and this time I was horrified at the $50 price tag to remove the S&S get a pedicure and a manicure without any polish color because my nails are so thin. The pedicure was worth about $10 bucks. The S&S actually ruined my nails. When I told them I was very disappointed they shrugged their shoulders and said oh well that's what they charge. I've spent a lot of money here but I can promise you I won't be back there's plenty of other salons that don't have to make their customers pay for their cushy location across from Avalon. read more

Was organizing a bridal party for mani/pedis. Liked the reviews and the prime location. However many things were less than was expected based on the decor and price point. First of all, we were a bridal party yet seated in different areas. I understand needing some to start w nails and others to start with pedicures. But they didn't attempt to put the nail people next to the pedicure chairs or use the pedicure chairs at the end. No one offered us any beverages, even though when I made the reservation I specifically clarified that they serve wine. Next.... they forgot the bride's nails. Yup. She had her pedicure then mentioned politely... repeatedly she wanted a full set. After sitting for about 45 mins without being moved to nails she begun to get anxious. Then the unoccupied nail tech appeared to be leaving. Finally I became assertive to get them done. And my nails.... well.... they had to fix them 2x. The first there were what looked like water spots. I was told I must have touched something. I hadn't. The second time the top coat looked like broken glass. Finally they nails were acceptable. But my cuticles were shredded. I mentioned several times that the tech was hurting my cuticles. But here we are 5 days later and 4 of my fingers are still scabs. Having said all that, the pedicure tech was delightful, funny, attentive and detail oriented! She, in fact, in the only reason I am giving 2 stars. read more

I found this place on accident after a tragic nail appt at another shop on Exit 11. It was so bad, I immediately found the next nail shop, at the next exit (10), so I could to get them completely redone, and that's when I stumbled upon Noire...and my new nail tech Kim. I love her. She's not slow like some nail techs, but as quickly as she works, she manages to do it without compromising the quality. She's just GOOD, hands down. I used to get French dips (SNS) when I lived in New York. I am a flight attendant, and found the SNS nails to be long lasting and very professional looking. When COVID hit, I stopped getting my nails done because I didn't want to spend the money. After two years of splitting and chipping "natural" nails, I decided it was time to start investing in SNS again. I was in Atlanta visiting some girlfriends so I figured, "what the heck... I might as well just get SNS done here and I can find another nail salon when I return home to Boston." The SNS nails I had done at Noire were so well done that I decided to fly from Boston to Alpharetta to have them redone three weeks later. At my second visit, Angie suggested I try "solar" nails. She said they would last much longer and not discolor. I took her advice, and got my first set of "solar" nails. Angie is an amazing nail tech, my solar nails are awesome... I'm Hooked! Best nails I have ever had... They don't yellow and wear like iron, and look amazing right up until the time they need to be redone! I had thai cho as my nail artist, he cut me 3 times and when i pulled my hand back he grabbed my finger. i came with my boyfriend and they refused to let us sit together and he didn't do a good job on either of our nails.
