On Thursday 6-5-25, I couldn't take it anymore. I called 7 different chiropractors. They either couldn't see me until Monday or didn't return my call at all. I spoke with the nicest lady at Source Chiropractic. I explained my situation and my growing desperation. After a 10 second consult with Dr. Dave , he agreed to see me AT CLOSING TIME ON A FRIDAY!! I was so grateful that somebody was going to look at me. I was skeptical as to what a chiropractor could really do for my shoulder. My former Dr. cracked my back and neck , a little heat pad and see you next time. This Dr. REALLY took the time to listen to my 10+ minute assumption as to how I ended up with so much shoulder pain. Then he got to work. It took him less than 4 minutes to diagnose my problem as " frozen shoulder" . He smiled and said it was among the milder cases he's seen and that he was fully confident he could bring me relief. That alone dropped my blood pressure and relieved my anxiety. This guy is good and good!! He put 2 stimulators on there and then he cupped me. I'd seen this done on television and I've seen the marks on athletes of many sports. The cupping is not only painless, it's barely noticeable. I found it relaxing. Don't worry , he doesn't use fire like those videos you've seen from India. Same result, he just uses a hand pump. Last but not least, he had me lay on my back and took hold of my arm. He told me what he was about to do and that I was not going to like it. I appreciated the honesty. I'm surprised and impressed at the relief I got from him after 25 minutes. I feel dumb for waiting so long to seek help. I strongly recommend this Dr. and this practice. They really fit me in and spared me another weekend of no sleep. I have a follow-up on Monday and I'm actually looking forward to it.

And there are always tons of people there, whether in the wait room or exercise room. Most wear masks, but the staff does not make patients put them on if they aren't wearing them (which makes me uncomfortable, especially in a small space). Also, the staff was charging me $20 per visit, even though I knew my insurance paid in full (and were telling me that was my insurance copay). When I asked the doctor for a refund, he informed me that $20 is for the "extras" that my insurance doesn't cover - so if you use the roller table, stim, heat/ice packs, or the exercises/stretches he shows you at the end of your visit. I will go back for adjustments only, it's not worth it to me to pay $20 a visit to learn new stretches - I never use the roller table, stim, or heat/ice packs). I'm guessing this extra charge also only applies depending on your insurance. It's worth a visit to try him out and see if his adjustments work for you.
