I LOVE Mimi's Laser Alternatives!! I will recommend this place to anyone that asks!…read more Mimi is just a wonderful, kind, personable lady! She is down-right lovable! She is friendly and always professional, going the extra mile for all of her clients. She goes as far as to recommend the best option for you, which could end up saving you money compared to a more expensive treatment you thought you needed. That cuts in on her income, but she does it anyway because she's just an honest woman looking out for your best interests!! Not to mention, the amount of time she spends with you to explain it all and answer every single question you have! We need more people like her in this world! I did a little bit of digging before choosing to try out Mimi's, and this place is one of the cheapest permanent hair removal locations in the area. I had a 3 session package for underarm hair removal. She started with a lower intensity for safety reasons initially. I thought it had no effect, but the hairs fell out on their own after a few weeks, and I was surprised! The second and third sessions were with higher intensity, and you do feel a bit more during the treatment. The flashes of light hurt a tiny bit, but as most of us women know, it's like a mosquito bite compared to ripping out your hair with an epilator or wax strip! After 3 sessions, you really see the difference! Even after months of leaving it alone, I basically have no more hair growth in my armpits! There are a few stragglers that I could probably take care of with her touch-up appointments, but those stragglers are so fine and thin now, they're hardly noticeable. Every woman sick of shaving/waxing/epilating should visit Mimi!!!

Hey there, to the person reading this review looking for a sign on wether or not you should give…read morethis place a shot. Waxing can be intimidating, and if done incorrectly, can be extremely painful and regretful. I had my fair share of terrible waxes in my lifetime. But guess what, none of them have been here. Been coming to Bombshell for the last decade and I've had nothing but great service over the years from everyone I've encountered. I've "Happily" spent my money here on my Fiancée and I and continue to do so consistently. Sooooooo...if you've read this much of my review, then I've already made your mind up for you Experience Bombshell, get off of the fence you are metaphorically on, and you'll understand why so many people love it here and keep coming back.

Terrible customer service - and this was a long time ago (at a Mandeville Bombshell Waxing) but I…read moreremember it as though it was yesterday. Their attendants are habitually late at performing services but once, when my teenage daughter was just 8 minutes late, not only did they deny her service, they insisted that one of her services be deducted from her account. I had noticed in a previous post that someone put an image of a "Notice to Vacate" on the door of the business and it didn't surprise me at all - what goes around, comes around. It's pretty simple - the Golden Rule - treat people the way you want to be treated. Again, this "Bombshell" waxing incident was from 5 years ago on the northshore but I still remember it as though it was yesterday. Fortunately, I have not had to experience shockingly poor customer service at this level by any business. Just dreadful. Hopefully they have changed their policies and treat people as humans.

I can't speak for every employee but Erica really left her mark (with tint) on my face... I used to tint my own brows and it never turned out this horrible. The wax job itself was fine - she mapped out my face and left what she think I needed to grow out but it still looked messy once I scrubbed the tint off, which hurt considering it wasn't easy to remove. Let's just say I left not being able to look anyone in the eyes. How embarrassing! On a plus side, the inside of this business is very well taken care of and decorated nicely. As for leaving happy with the service, this was a bad experience for me and the $69 I lost.

When I was living in Metairie, I had a service package for laser hair removal with Saintly Skin…read more The original price was $9000 but I paid $5400 since it was a Black Friday with a 40% discount for about 6 sessions in its entirety. I wanted to give them my credit card so that they would charge me monthly and they mentioned that they work with a provider named Cherry and I should go through them. The total amount was to be paid through Cherry in 6 months 1st payment starting in December in the amount of $771.43 and monthly thereafter with no interest if paid within 6 months. What I did not know was that Cherry would pay Saintly Skin the whole amount upfront. I needed to move back to CA and let Shontell, the receptionist and Penny, the practitioner know about this two months ahead. Until then I had received 2 full body and 1 partial treatment yet the service provider and Cherry have kept charging me even though I wasn't receiving any treatment. When I mentioned this to Shontell, she told me that I needed to contact Cherry directly to resolve the issue which I had done exactly what she said. However, they told me that they can not do anything on their end and it must be resolved by Saintly Skin. I explained to Shontell the situation and she told me that she would let Kevin, the manager know. I've called numerous times, left messages but no response. It took him about 6 weeks to respond saying that they don't have any refunds for whatever reason whether used or not and I should have paid more attention when I filled out and signed the forms. He even sent me a photo of the posted sign on a piece of paper in the waiting room saying that there were no refunds which I neither saw nor paid attention to. Then he sent me this: Non Package Pricing for Services Received by Mehmet Erkus Thru 2/5/2025 Services I received: If I were to complete the whole treatment: Full Legs - $450x3= $1,350 Full legs- $450x6= $2,700 Brazilian- $450x3= $1,350 Brazilian- $450x6= $2,700 Full back- $400x2= $800 Full back- $475x6= $2.850 Full Arms- $425x2= $850 Full Arms- $425x6= $2,550 Under arms $275x3= $825 Under arms- $275x6= $1,650 Full face- $275x3= $825 Full face- $275x6= $1,650 Chest- $400x2= $800 Chest- $400x6= $2,400 Buttock- $300x2= $600 Buttock- $300x6= $1,800 Total = $7,400 Total = $18300 I really tried to reason with Kevin, the manager saying that yes you have a point I should have been more careful by reading the whole disclosure package before signing, that's on me. However, it was never mentioned or explained to me by the staff that once you sign this there's no return. I also did not know that the whole treatment would take 12 months. When I consulted with one of the practitioners, she gave me a piece of paper on it written how many sessions needed for each body part mentioned above 4 & 8 weeks. I thought I'd be done in 8 weeks. What she forgets to mention is that EVERY 4 & 8 weeks. After the 1st session when I made an appointment, she gave me a date 2 months ahead. When I asked why so late she said that oh that's how the treatment works because of the hair cycle. Anyways, I explained everything to Kevin telling him that it's neither fair nor ethical to charge me for the services I didn't receive and asked for a friendly solution. But he was determined to eat the Bread of Shame, for unearned money his business was taking from me. What he doesn't realize is that there's something bigger than all of us. Whatever we do in this life will come to us in the same manner whether good or bad. Although I find Unsaintly Skin unprofessional, unethical, and corrupt, the staff were very kind and friendly, especially Penny, she rocks.
