We decided to check out the new indoor play place today. 5 stars for friendly staff, cleanliness of facility, and a coffee shop inside! Finally a kids play place that also thinks of adults. I took my 15 month old and she really enjoyed it, however, I think this play place is optimal for kids ages 2 to 8. She couldn't really climb up on the big main structure just yet, but in the next few months or so I think she will be all over it. They do have a small toddler room which is great for the little ones to take a break from the main structure or if there are too many big kids around. They have a price for weekdays and a weekend price. They do not have a pay structure based on age. For that reason I'll probably wait to go back until my daughter is a bit older so she can enjoy the place in its entirety. The cafe they have is great because they not only cater to kids by selling icees and juice but they also sell coffee for the adults! Too many of these kids places forget about the parents and their need for caffeine. They also sell La Louisane Bakery pastries - a great partnership! I'm a huge fan of indoor play places because it's a great option for when it's raining or a million degrees outside. This is another great option for families in the neighborhood.

Took my baby nephew to try it out. Very clean nice play area concept for toddlers and younger kids to play when the weather is so hot outdoor. When you walk in, the receptionist will have you check in a laptop and sign a waiver. She will also informed you that you will need socks to play and if you don't, you can purchase some. They offer a toddler room and also a main play area with beautiful wood playground structure that kids can climb and go down the slide. The play area is for ages 7 and under so it's sucks if you have an older child. They have seating area that allows adults to relax with a gourmet beverage or snacks for the kids while the kids play safely in sight. When we were in the toddler room, a mother and her kid about 5 came in. That child was loud and playing rough with the balls that I should have made a comment to the mother if she can take her boy out since the room did indicated it was for toddlers only. It would have been nice to at least have an employee to walk around and check around and also make sure parents has socks on also!

Nice indoor playground! My girls enjoyed it very much! The place is clean, and staff's friendly. There's a toddler room for my little 8 month old and a larger area for my 3 year old, there's a Roo. For private party too. Definitely recommended!

I've been waiting for this place to open. As a mother of three, I am always looking for indoor options to stay out of the heat during the summer. This place has a separate area for toddler's and while the playground equipment is small, my kids still had a very fun time! Besides that, there are multiple games that you can play. My son and I opted to play a game of tic-tac-toe. Since my youngest is still in diapers, I frequented the restroom multiple times. The restroom is very clean and they have a nice area with the changing table. Did I mention that they also have a small café area? They have fresh treats from a local bakery for sale, Icees and even coffee options. We have already been there multiple times this summer and I know for sure we will be back soon.

Well, walked down to the club, I was greeted by a very nice gentleman who asked for my member # as I was asking to order. I stated to him I didn't have a member number, as I was only there setting up and making sure all looked in place for the following night. He had to go ask if I could still order... Came back with approval and a nice lady took my order. I ordered spinach and cheese dip. It took about 15 mins to receive it. Ohhhh myyyy was it delicious!!!! :-) It was sooooooo good!!!! Super delicious! This one will go down in my books as the BEST I've ever had!!! I will have to go back soon to scoop up another order as I can only eat small portions and threw away my remaining I didn't eat. I was crushed.... I simply didn't want to over eat and get sick. Now if you know someone who's affiliated- grab them and go for a nice meal. I'm sure their other food choices are wonderful! Ohhh the Christmas decor at the place was sooooooo festive and elegantly done!!! Great job! See ya' again soon. Thanks for the kindness and welcoming vibes.

We cannot express our gratefulness to Chateau Golf and Country Club for making our son and new daughter-in-laws dream wedding come true. From the moment we met with Alyssa, we knew everything would be perfect. She was so patient and gave us so much insight into details that we had not thought of. And they went ABOVE and BEYOND on the day of the wedding. Alyssa, Britney, Ms. Beth and Ms. Evelyn took care of everything throughout the ceremony and reception. The food was AMAZING! They even allowed up to upgrade to a Banana's Foster station that wasn't even on the menu. We became so close to Alyssa that one quick glance at each other and she knew what we needed. They were by our sides the entire night making sure we all ate and stayed hydrated. If I have any other functions, I will definitely be going back to Chateau. Thank you again Alyssa Sprunk and the entire staff.

Venue- The venue space was large enough to hold our guests of 150 comfortably. The added drapery and greenery to the chandeliers was such a beautiful touch that complemented our decor. We loved the option that our guests could go outside on the terrance and enjoy the sunset. The bridal suite made for beautiful photos and comfortably could fit a small bridal party. The extra touches of tissues, mints, pins, and other odds and ends that may be needed was such a thoughtful touch. Staff- Our family made several comments of how great the staff was! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Lots of smiling faces and exceptional service! Mrs. Cindy really made sure to listen to every detail and made it happen! From set up to take down she was there and made it 10x better! She checked on us regularly throughout the evening and made sure every thing ran smoothly. Budget- One of the main reasons why we choose The Alexander Room was because they offer a "Special Events" package. Since we were not hosting a wedding, we had the option to customize a package that better fit our budget. We had the option to add on certain items should we have wanted them. Food- There was an array of food options to choose from for our event. Each item we choose was absolutely delicious and Mr. Timphony ( the owner), was the chef. The Gumbo was also delicious! All and all this was a 10/10. Not a single thing to complain about. I absolutely recommend The Alexander Room for any event! They have been such a pleasure to work with! The Alexander Room and Terrance is absolutely Metairie's best kept secret when it comes to Venues!

It's located near Lakeside Mall in Metairie and shares a parking lot with other businesses in the building. Parking was a breeze the morning I was there. When I arrived I was pleased with the attentive service I received from the staff. They had breakfast service set up buffet style and the food was good. Almost as soon as I sat down, I of course spilled my water. I swear, I'm as messy am eater as a 3 year old. As I was looking for napkins an employee noticed what was going on and swooped in to clean up. Lunch service was much the same. It was a health insurance seminar, so they were challenged to find appropriate foods, and did a pretty decent job. Deli sandwich fixings and gumbo. I might have gone with a grilled chicken and veggies option and maybe offered brown rice with the gumbo. Their options were very tasty though. The staff was good about clearing the tables and they were friendly. The room is large and was very clean. There were a few chandeliers and there was an available stage area. The bathrooms were adequate and clean, but there were no paper towels available. All in all it's a nice space. Sort of a blank canvas that, with some decorating, probably dresses up nicely. It was perfect for the daytime event that I attended.
