This was my second time at Nolita Hall, and the food continues to deliver! This place really knows how to put together a fun, food-forward night out. The hot honey pizza was perfect and had a sweet-heat drizzle that keeps you going back for another slice. The pistachio ravioli was interesting. It was a little bland for us. The Cacio e pepe hit all the right peppery, cheesy notes. It paired perfectly with the pizza. The burger was solid and juicy, cooked just right. The bolognese was hearty and comforting! The espresso martinis were strong and smooth, exactly what you want to kick things off. The service this time was a big improvement, from my first visit! We felt a little rushed out, but this time the staff were relaxed, friendly, and let us enjoy the meal at our own pace. The ambiance is great too, lively and welcoming. The one thing keeping this from five stars: we got seated at a small coffee table, which made it a little awkward to actually eat. Last time we had a proper dining table, and that made a big difference. A regular table would've made this a perfect night. This is one of my go-to spots to meet friends and bring visiting guests. The claim to fame is to look above through the glass ceiling and catch flights as they're landing at SAN. The service is usually quite good, no matter how busy they are. I once waited over 20 minutes to get inside during the World Cup but still managed to get a drink right away. The food is also quite good. Try the steak frites, burger or pizzas. The only real downfall here is it can get really loud and parking in Little Italy is the worst. read more

Unfortunately, the seating took away from what was supposed to be a nice family dinner. We were seated at a high-top table with barstools. For a casual night out, that might be perfectly fine, but for a Mother's Day dinner celebrating my wife, it really didn't feel appropriate. Parking was convenient since there's a public lot right next door. Just keep in mind that parking in the area can get expensive, so depending on the time and how long you plan to stay, a rideshare might actually be the better option. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a fun, lively vibe. It was definitely loud, but not so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with the person sitting across from you. It has a nice indoor/outdoor feel, and you do have to be 21+ to enter. They had a good cocktail selection, plus several non-alcoholic cocktails for the non-drinkers, which I appreciated. We started with the Wood Fired Brussels with pancetta, pecorino, and balsamic vinaigrette. This one was a mixed bag. The overall flavor was absolutely delicious, but the Brussels sprouts themselves were surprisingly hard, almost like they hadn't been cooked all the way through. If the texture had matched the flavor, these would've been great. Next was Nic's Burger double wagyu smash patties, American cheese, pickles, secret sauce, and fries on a potato roll. The burger was REALLY good. The secret sauce wasn't overpowering, the cheese was perfectly melted, and everything worked together. It was damn near a perfect burger. The fries, though? Delicious flavor, but it felt like I got the bottom of the fry basket. There were way too many tiny bits and pieces instead of actual full fries, which was annoying. We also tried the Steak Frites with a 10 oz hanger steak, fries, gremolata, green peppercorn bordelaise, and aioli. The truffle fries were delicious, but they are HEAVY on the truffle. If you love that strong truffle flavor, you'll probably love them. If you only like a hint of truffle, these might be a little much. The steak itself was good but slightly overcooked for me. It still had a nice texture and wasn't tough or difficult to chew, so it wasn't bad by any means. That said, I probably wouldn't order the steak here again. This just doesn't strike me as the place where steak is the thing to get. Now, the pepperoni pizza was a different story. They do pizza VERY well. It had that open-fire/brick-oven style, and the crust and toppings came together beautifully. Even the Parmesan tasted freshly shredded, and the way it melted into the hot pizza made a noticeable difference. The pizza was so flavorful that we didn't even need dipping sauce, which is unusual for us. Service was good, and our server was nice throughout the meal. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, but I'm not sure this is somewhere I'd specifically make a trip back to. If I were already in the area and wanted a quick bite, though, I'd definitely consider stopping in. I could also see this being a great Friday meet-up, happy hour, or after-work spot. read more

The interiors are pretty. We had reservations on a weeknight and we were able to get seated pretty quickly, which was great. It did take a minute for us to place our order which was fine but did detract a little bit from experience. We tried the girl dinner menu. There are no exceptions which it says very clearly. However, it would've been nice if we could've at least swapped out for non-alcoholic drinks since we didn't drink ours - especially since there's a 5% add-on to all the checks. The pasta was not that tasty. And the Caesar salad did not have any croutons or cheese. The star of the show however, were the truffle fries. I came with a group to watch the World Cup game and enjoy happy hour, it's a good atmosphere for watching games or grabbing a drink in Little Italy. A few notables from my experience. The drink specials for happy hour are solid, there's a large variety of beer and wine to select. I tried the non-alcoholic Brut, personally wasn't my favorite but it may just be my preference. There were good items to select from on the happy hour food menu, the buffalo wings were the best item I had but unfortunately were cold when they came out. It was extremely busy for the World Cup game, so I'm assuming that is the reason. I also tried the truffle fries (def a must get), fried ravioli which was good but I'm not sure I'd order again, and Brussels sprouts which I would suggest passing on. There was no sauce or real flavor outside of the greens and let's be honest, the taste of Brussels sprouts themselves isn't always the best. Our server was great despite the busy crowd from the game, but the lady running food was rather rude to us. At one point she handed us food we didn't know if our table ordered and she essentially told us she doesn't know who orders what and is just putting food on the table. I understand it was busy, but every interaction we had with her was not pleasant. This was the leading reason for my lower stars. We originally wanted to have our dinner inside the regular Nolita Hall restaurant but they weren't open that day so they suggested the small house location they operate right across the street. What a great pivot because the house was BEAUTIFUL. We had a small cocktail hour in their adorable green patio area and then moved into the house for dinner. We used all of their existing in house decor and it was all so pretty and the ladies were so easy to work with. It was so nice to have our own private space to focus on catching up! The drinks were amazing and so creative!!! They had this one specialty cocktail with foam on top and was made with gin, chareau, snap pea, and lime. AMAZING. They also offered mixed "shots" for us girls that wanted to stay later after dinner to keep drinking as well! The food was all delicious from the passed apps at cocktail to the main family style dinner and they accommodated all of our dietary restrictions very well - vegan and dairy free options can be a challenge for an Italian menu I'm sure! The only small piece for improvement was that they seemed to be running the food from the kitchen across the street instead of from the house.... This was a bit awkward because we could literally see staff running back and forth outside on the street... and food service timing was quite delayed. Went for a girls night here on a Friday. We had a reservation at 5 but they were still able to accommodate us although we were a little late. I really liked the whole concept of the bar and food hall in the one space! You can constantly hear and see the planes overhead which is kinda cool and adds to the vibes. This was my first time here, and we celebrated a baby shower at this location. The service was amazing from start to finish. The staff made the event very easy to plan and were incredibly attentive throughout. The mocktails were delicious. I tried the Jamaica Pine and was initially concerned because it contains ginger, but I couldn't taste it at all. It was refreshing and perfectly balanced and not too sweet. All of the food was fresh and delicious. We pre-ordered several items including avocado toast, a charcuterie board, pizza, steak, broccolini, beet salad, Caesar salad, burgers, and cinnamon rolls. I saw a reel on Instagram about the Girl Dinner, offered Tuesday through Thursday, and it sparked me and my friends' interest, so we quickly planned a night to check it out! It's located on the corner of India St and W Juniper St in Little Italy. There's mainly paid street parking with the occasional "residential" free street parking around the area. Parking could get rather difficult especially during dinner hours. The new parking time ends at 8 PM, so make sure to pay if you're in a paid zone! The Girl Dinner included an Espresso Martini, Vodka Pasta, Crispy Baby Romaine, and Truffle Fries. The Espresso Martini was excellent - strong, smooth, and honestly, one of the best I've had! The rest of the dishes were good, but my favorite was definitely the truffle fries. I'm a huge sucker for truffle flavored things. The pasta was also delicious with a nice creamy texture. The meal as a whole really balanced out the espresso martini. I'm a lightweight so the carb heavy meal was saving me, LOL. My friends and I also ordered their Beef Carpaccio and Hamachi Crudo as there were no proteins in the meal. Both were delicious, with so much flavor that we almost ordered another round, especially the beef carpaccio! We made it a point to stop by here to see their beautiful Christmas decorations and it was very busy on a Saturday night. I've been here a couple times now and I really love the vibes here. There are lots of tvs everywhere, many people dining in groups and the bar is always full. It can get really loud when sports are on with a full house. I recommend making reservations ahead of time because it's a popular spot to dine in and have drinks. It was a generous pour, and I truly enjoyed every sip. I also liked the crispy truffle fries. You really can't go wrong with crispy fries. The salad was refreshing. The vodka pasta was good, but the portion was just a lot smaller than I expected. Also, we were celebrating a friend's birthday, and our waiter thoughtfully gave us a chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream to celebrate! I came here a few years ago with my friend on a work trip and came back again because I adore this place so much! This trip we opted for the hot honey pizza and paired with One in a Melon and Dude, Where's My Passport cocktails. All-in-all, everything was delicious and wonderful! I can't wait to be back already to visit! I can't get over how delicious that pizza is and every cocktail they serve, is so well balanced and tastes wonderful. We didn't have a reservation but we were quickly sat next to the fireplace, which was comfortable and with wonderful views. The vibe is wonderful and well themed, I enjoy looking at all the plants and the decor around the hall. Definitely the perfect vibe to unwind and hang out with friends! read more

AMAZING! Literally ordered two of everything because as soon as we finished - realized it was too good to not have another! Their steak and eggs are the BEST I've ever had and their smoked salmon plate! Too good! I've never had anything like that before -- cannot wait to try this place for dinner! Girl dinner at Nolita Hall on a Wednesday. Atmosphere 10/10 Food quality 5/10 Price 5/10 My friends and I saw the viral girl dinner and decided to check it out. It was a lot of fun and Nolita hall is so pretty. I love the ambiance and its fantastic for large groups. The food though, ehh..we paid close to $35 ea just for the girl dinner, and it was just a small cup of pasta, small fries, and a basic salad. Everything was cold by the time they served and the espresso martini was okay. I just can't justify how much we paid for the quality and the quantity of the food. read more
