We originally wanted to have our dinner inside the regular Nolita Hall restaurant but they weren't open that day so they suggested the small house location they operate right across the street. What a great pivot because the house was BEAUTIFUL. We had a small cocktail hour in their adorable green patio area and then moved into the house for dinner. We used all of their existing in house decor and it was all so pretty and the ladies were so easy to work with. It was so nice to have our own private space to focus on catching up! The drinks were amazing and so creative!!! They had this one specialty cocktail with foam on top and was made with gin, chareau, snap pea, and lime. AMAZING. They also offered mixed "shots" for us girls that wanted to stay later after dinner to keep drinking as well! The food was all delicious from the passed apps at cocktail to the main family style dinner and they accommodated all of our dietary restrictions very well - vegan and dairy free options can be a challenge for an Italian menu I'm sure! The only small piece for improvement was that they seemed to be running the food from the kitchen across the street instead of from the house.... This was a bit awkward because we could literally see staff running back and forth outside on the street... and food service timing was quite delayed. Hoping they worked out these kinks already though since our visit was a while back! I came with a group to watch the World Cup game and enjoy happy hour, it's a good atmosphere for watching games or grabbing a drink in Little Italy. A few notables from my experience. The drink specials for happy hour are solid, there's a large variety of beer and wine to select. I tried the non-alcoholic Brut, personally wasn't my favorite but it may just be my preference. There were good items to select from on the happy hour food menu, the buffalo wings were the best item I had but unfortunately were cold when they came out. It was extremely busy for the World Cup game, so I'm assuming that is the reason. I also tried the truffle fries (def a must get), fried ravioli which was good but I'm not sure I'd order again, and Brussels sprouts which I would suggest passing on. There was no sauce or real flavor outside of the greens and let's be honest, the taste of Brussels sprouts themselves isn't always the best. Our server was great despite the busy crowd from the game, but the lady running food was rather rude to us. At one point she handed us food we didn't know if our table ordered and she essentially told us she doesn't know who orders what and is just putting food on the table. I understand it was busy, but every interaction we had with her was not pleasant. This was the leading reason for my lower stars. Overall, based on my happy hour experience, I'd suggest it as a fun place for drinks but I'm not sure I would make it a destination for food, at least not happy hour food. read more

Went for a girls night here on a Friday. We had a reservation at 5 but they were still able to accommodate us although we were a little late. I really liked the whole concept of the bar and food hall in the one space! You can constantly hear and see the planes overhead which is kinda cool and adds to the vibes. We sat in one of the booths since one of my friends is pregnant, and the moonroof was right above us, which made it feel a little more open and fun. That said...it gets LOUD. I've been here a couple times now and I really love the vibes here. There are lots of tvs everywhere, many people dining in groups and the bar is always full. It can get really loud when sports are on with a full house. I recommend making reservations ahead of time because it's a popular spot to dine in and have drinks. A lot of the people that work here are friendly, welcoming and fun to talk with. The last time I was here, it was in February with a friend. We ordered glasses of wine, vodka pasta, the Funghi Misti pizza gf (my favorite pizza here) and the crisp baby romaine. This was my first time here, and we celebrated a baby shower at this location. The service was amazing from start to finish. The staff made the event very easy to plan and were incredibly attentive throughout. The mocktails were delicious. I tried the Jamaica Pine and was initially concerned because it contains ginger, but I couldn't taste it at all. It was refreshing and perfectly balanced and not too sweet. All of the food was fresh and delicious. We pre-ordered several items including avocado toast, a charcuterie board, pizza, steak, broccolini, beet salad, Caesar salad, burgers, and cinnamon rolls. The highlight for me was the "girl dinner" ( they only offer it Tuesday-Thursday, not every day) and it's honestly such a good deal. For $30 you get an espresso martini (10/10) plus vodka pasta, fries, and a Caesar salad. Everything in that combo hit and felt like a perfect little trio. We also ordered a burger, it was fine, nothing bad, just nothing super memorable. The hot honey pie (pepperoni pizza with burrata and hot honey) was really good, about an 8/10. Great flavor combo, just can get a little soggy if it sits too long. The bruschetta unfortunately wasn't my favorite, not totally sure what was going on there, but it didn't stand out compared to everything else. I saw a reel on Instagram about the Girl Dinner, offered Tuesday through Thursday, and it sparked me and my friends' interest, so we quickly planned a night to check it out! It's located on the corner of India St and W Juniper St in Little Italy. There's mainly paid street parking with the occasional "residential" free street parking around the area. Parking could get rather difficult especially during dinner hours. The new parking time ends at 8 PM, so make sure to pay if you're in a paid zone! The Girl Dinner included an Espresso Martini, Vodka Pasta, Crispy Baby Romaine, and Truffle Fries. The Espresso Martini was excellent - strong, smooth, and honestly, one of the best I've had! The rest of the dishes were good, but my favorite was definitely the truffle fries. I'm a huge sucker for truffle flavored things. The pasta was also delicious with a nice creamy texture. The meal as a whole really balanced out the espresso martini. I'm a lightweight so the carb heavy meal was saving me, LOL. My friends and I also ordered their Beef Carpaccio and Hamachi Crudo as there were no proteins in the meal. Both were delicious, with so much flavor that we almost ordered another round, especially the beef carpaccio! Besides the deliciousness, I thought the generous portion of beef carpaccio was worth the price. Overall, my friends and I had a blast at Nolita Hall for their Girl Dinner. We made it a point to stop by here to see their beautiful Christmas decorations and it was very busy on a Saturday night. Even though we had a reservation, we had to wait for a table but it was fine because we got drinks at the bar and had a good time there. Our table was picnic style with benches which provided a casual vibe for our group hangout. They also had huge tvs on the wall for anyone who wanted to watch the football game. We ordered a few appetizers to share and everything was great. We immediately thought the concept of the "girl dinner" order was cute and perfect for other ladies coming in for GNOs, but we decided to just get drinks and small plates. The drinks came out first and we unfortunately thought they weren't anything special. I got the Come Correct cocktail, which was too sweet for my tastes, and a friend got the One in a Melon. The One in a Melon tasted like juice, so if that's your vibe maybe you'd like it. Moving on to the food, we got the chopped salad, cacio pepe, and wood fired brussels. It was a generous pour, and I truly enjoyed every sip. I also liked the crispy truffle fries. You really can't go wrong with crispy fries. The salad was refreshing. The vodka pasta was good, but the portion was just a lot smaller than I expected. Also, we were celebrating a friend's birthday, and our waiter thoughtfully gave us a chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream to celebrate! Reservations are recommended because it got very busy around dinner time. Additionally, the street parking is limited, so definitely allocate some time to park before your reservation time. Nolita Hall is a great place to spend time. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the staff is generally very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I had an experience during a soccer match that left me disappointed. A staff member initially asked me to remove my mask, so I complied. Later, I asked a different staff member if it was okay to wear it, and she told me it was. I put it back on and continued painting small Mexican flags on people's faces, as many guests were requesting it and asking to take photos. A short time later, security approached me and asked me to leave because of the mask. I respected their decision and left without causing any issues. What was frustrating was receiving conflicting instructions from different staff members, which put me in an awkward position. I only live a couple of blocks away and have enjoyed visiting Nolita Hall, so this experience was disappointing. My issue is not with the staff as a whole--they were all kind--but with the inconsistent communication and how the situation was ultimately handled by management. Sadly not the same place it used to be -- both food and service fell short. I've been coming here since they first opened years ago and have returned a handful of times since. Unfortunately, this most recent visit was pretty disappointing. A friend organized a girls' happy hour, so there were six of us and we arrived right at 5pm. I ordered a margarita pizza and a Caesar salad. The salad was fine, but the pizza was noticeably undercooked compared to the two pizzas my friends ordered. It also barely had any basil -- literally just a few tiny pieces, which was surprising for a margarita pizza. Service was another letdown. Since we were a group of six, a 20% gratuity was automatically added, and it really felt like service reflected the bare minimum after that. Our server didn't come back to check on the food, and only came by twice to take drink orders. Because of that, I didn't even get a chance to mention the pizza issue. To top it off, they don't allow bills to be split unless it's evenly divided, with a maximum of four cards. I've been to plenty of restaurants where the server simply goes around the table and charges each person for what they ordered, so this felt unnecessarily inconvenient. While happy hour looks like a good deal on paper, I wouldn't recommend the pizza based on this experience. It might be fine to sit at the bar and just order drinks, but overall it was disappointing -- especially since this place used to be much better. Sad to see the decline. read more

Nolita Hall is an absolute vibe! I found this place on Tiktok and wanted to visit during my vacation in San Diego. I had to order the viral "girl dinner" and it definitely lived up to the hype. Espresso martini, fries, Cesar salad and pasta for only $30! Biggest shoutout to Hannah, our bartender, who was an absolute star. Friendly, quick, and gave the best menu advice She made the night feel like we were regulars. The space is open and gorgeous. High ceilings, great music, and plenty of people watching. Went back to Nolita Hall last night, but this time with my family. My daughter had seen the pictures and ate my leftover pizza after I went with girlfriends a few weeks ago and she said she wanted to go. Since the Christmas decorations were still up I decided to take my family here during the holiday break. It was really busy and noisy which my husband and son didn't love, but oh well. The food was good, again. We ordered the Doug burger, the Vodka pasta, hot honey pizza and the pepper and sausage pizza for dinner and the tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert. Everyone loved their food. I did ask for some extra hot honey pizza he because I didn't taste it as much on the pizza like I had a few weeks ago. After we added some more honey it was perfect. So apart from the noise I think everyone in my family was pretty happy with the place. read more

I've come to Nolita Hall a handful of times, most times for drinks only at the bar. This time I specifically came in for their Girl Dinner with a friend. The components were delicious in our opinion and each had a good portion. Pasta, Caesar salad and fries for food with an espresso martini, love. As far as each other went, Caesar salad was well dressed. The fries were a little on the overdone side which sucked but honestly the fries were not my priority for the meal. The pasta was yummy and noodles cooked perfectly. Only thing was my pasta was def on the luke warm side. Did not detract from my enjoyment though. Espresso martini was good (made with a nitro brew not espresso though). Alongside the Girl Dinner we got the Quattro Formaggi pizza and omg, sooo good. Definitely would order again. Service was a mixed bag here. Mostly everyone was great but I am going to call someone out specifically that really just rubbed us the wrong way....Hannah (spelling unsure) at the bar. She wasn't rude directly but I would just like to suggest to be a little more cognizant of her actions. My friend and I arrived at the bar and sat down kind of at the same time as this other pair (but we did sit down first and she saw) but she proceeded to engage and help them first (sounded like they were already there and came back) but it wasn't like a quick get their drink order interaction, it was a full blown conversation about other things while we just sat there NEXT to the pair waiting to be helped. I ended up having to go to the hostess stand to ask that we get a table to try to get actual service. Luckily all the servers on the floor interacted with after were super friendly and helpful and our server we ended up with was very sweet. Side note, we initially got sat at a long, low table next to the sidewalk and had to move because it literally smelled like dog urine, strongly (this is right next to plants and pots and stuff so I'm sure people let their dogs urinate on them). The ambiance and decoration of this place is memorable. The food, was not. Prices are pretty high, and everything cost extra. We ordered girl dinner, which came with overdressed romaine lettuce with some sort of grainy texture as a topper, a side of truffle fries missing flavor, and vodka pasta that also wasn't anything to rave about. We also got Sunday Sauce pasta which was pretty plain.. highly disappointed in the food. I think this is just a good place to have large gatherings to meet up for drinks or watch the game on their huge screens. read more
