I dropped off my vehicle on a Monday afternoon and was assured that I would get a call the very next day Tuesday since they had to run a diagnostic test themselves to be able to tell the warranty company what the issue was with my vehicle. I did not get a call Tuesday. I called again Wednesday to check on the status of the diagnostic and repair. I was told they still had not run the diagnostic test. I called again on Thursday same response no diagnostic test done yet. However,they have not been able to contact my warranty company. To which I asked "what are you going to tell them the issue is since you have not run the diagnostic test?" I advised them I would be picking up my vehicle and taking it elsewhere since I need my vehicle as I was having trouble getting to and from work, this being my only vehicle. I then called A+Transmission. I spoke with Patrick who then offered to pick up my car from Pep Boys the very next day Friday morning, to which they did. Patrick texted me the same day Friday afternoon around 3 pm and let me know they are starting the diagnostic test. The turbo vacuum system was the problem. He explained in great detail the function of the vacuum on a turbo engine. He also advised me he had already contacted the warranty company and told them the diagnostic result. He also stated he was already getting quotes on parts to repair my vehicle. Monday, he advised me the warranty company approved the repair and they would start working on my car immediately. I received a call Wednesday my vehicle was ready for pickup. The whole process was amazingly smooth and quick. Very professional and great communication skills as well as work ethics. Being a woman it is very difficult to find honest repair shops. I will definitely be using them for any future repairs. I highly recommend them!

When they finally contacted me, they provided a $1,403 estimate claiming internal transmission issues such as "shift bushings needing replacement," along with clutch and slave cylinder labor. Diagnosing internal transmission components requires removing and opening the transmission, which they did not do. They also did not perform any of the standard hydraulic diagnostic steps such as checking the master cylinder, slave cylinder, push rod, fluid level, pedal travel, or engagement point. No explanation was given for how any of the listed issues were identified. The real problem turned out to be hydraulic and was repaired elsewhere. The Jeep is now running perfectly, which confirms that the issues listed in Brown's estimate were not based on proper inspection or testing. I would not recommend this place.

Since then, I always have a burning oil smell after they change my oil. Also, when my starter was going out, they thought it was because my battery was too weak so they changed my battery to a more expensive gel battery and didn't give me credit for my perfectly fine battery that they removed until I later complained. (They then only gave me a $20 credit). Later, the gel battery they installed gave out after only 1 year and 3 months of service. I was stranded out of town when it happened and Corb's would not give me any kind of credit for bringing the battery back. I will no longer recommend anyone to go here after these continued bad experiences.
