We've used Mike twice now to hang photos and artwork, including pieces that were heavy and were to be placed up high. One piece, and old framed mirror, was coming out of the frame, which had to be repaired before it could even be moved, let alone hung. We were afraid the entire frame (which was original to the mirror) might have to be replaced. Mike made the repairs in a matter of minutes, and hung the piece without problem. He is a consummate professional who shows up on time, does excellent quality work, does it fast, charges reasonable prices, and is a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend him. Mike was fantastic. I needed help with hanging a gallery wall, plus a couple other art pieces in another room. He was right on time, friendly, and helped us figure out the layout of the gallery wall (after seeing it laid out, we realized it needed another piece I had planned to have hanging alone in a different room). He has a great eye for design, created a great organic layout and spacing, and was really quick with the actual hanging. He used two D rings/hooks to hang each piece, which is much more secure in the event of an earthquake. He hung two other canvas companion pieces that are the same size, and pointed out that other lines in the room weren't perfectly even (it's an old house) so he had a plan to hang them to make everything look level even though it actually isn't. I would never have noticed it without using a level, so his awareness and attention to detail are very high. Everything was clean and looked amazing when he was done--and it's such a relief to finally have this project done. Mike was great to work with and I would 100% recommend him to anyone who needs help hanging art or anything. Plus, he knows how to hang stuff on plaster walls, which is great with the number of old homes throughout the Bay Area.
