I must have came during a bad time, I came during LI restaurant week on a Wednesday. Only 2 staff were working due to 2 calls outs and most items on the menu were sold out. The sushi didn't taste fresh to me and my dessert was too frozen to consume. The staff were overwhelmed since it was only 2 people working the entire establishment.

The service was great, all the staff were welcoming and attentive. However, the food was very subpar. My wife's dish was beef teriyaki and the beef was tough and too salty. The fried enoki mushrooms was unseasoned and the dipping sauce wasnt good. The fried chicken which I thought was juicy, it was a tad too salty. The fried rice was also too salty. Lastly the chicken katsu was what I ordered, I thought that dish was very generously size. Luckily this dish was good, my kids ate a lot of my pieces. Definitely big enough to share with the family. Unfortunately this was the only dish we all thought was good. Everything else was either too salty or not flavor. In terms of a date, this is a nice place to bring a date as its away from the busy food court. Again, staff were very nice and accommodating, however the food was not great. I wouldnt completely rule this restaurant out, since it's conveniently located in the mall.

Walking into the mall - what grabbed my attention ? The HH sign:) walked in and was directed to a table - I think it was either the Manager and/or Owner who greeted us and explained the menu - there's a great variety of $8 item menus, we ordered wings, pork dumplings, tuna crispy rice, spicy tuna roll, everything tasted really fresh so we ordered a second round lol - this place was pretty packed to be a rainy, cold Tuesday night -

The spot sits in Roosevelt Field Mall. Definitely a place for drinks as the front bar area is large and has a nice list of drinks and ample space for a after work drink or drink with friends. The back area is reserved for sit down meals. You definitely see they put the emphasis on the bar area and their drink selections. As for the food it's a bit overpriced and the quality of the sushi is a bit off. Rice isn't prepared sushi grade and is a bit mushy and clumpy. The fish itself has a bit of sinew which goes into the cut and preparation. They go a bit overboard in their sushi roll creativeness as it ends up being a bit too over ingredient and loses the star flavor which should be the fish. Come here for the drinks but the food was underwhelming.

Nice modern looking storefront spot in the midst of Roosevelt Field Mall. Lots of mall parking with outdoor and indoor seating. Music was throwback vibes and our waitress was very nice! Sampled a few things -California roll, Salmon & Avocado Roll, Teriyaki Entree, Chicken Fried Rice, Ube & Lotus Chips but the winner was the garlic wings and the spicy wings. Paired up with my drink of choice Strawberry Dreams made for a nice meal.

Treated myself to their lunch special today. They offered a a $20 deal that included two rolls and a miso soup. I was craving dumplings and ordered the pork steamed dumplings on the side- delicious choice. Great quality and the flavor was all there. I decided to sit outside and enjoy the first 80 degree day in NY. It was clean and quiet. I am one to appreciate silence- was really happy there wasn't music playing outside. The server was extremely attentive- even with just being the only customer eating outside he made sure to check in at least twice and a third time to bring the check. I'l be back to try out something new - can't wait to try their Miso Black Cod dish and Shishito Peppers! Yum!

3.5 stars. Came by on a Thursday evening for dinner, the soy garlic chicken wings were a delicious app, kani salad was far from good - kind of watery and flavorless. Had the udon chicken noodles, tasted good and a good portion. Claudio was a great server- Attentive, helpful and efficient. Why only 3.5 stars then? Their out of their minds with the pricing - every specialty sushi roll was about $25, and I just didn't think the quality or taste or atmosphere stood up to the price.

Absolutely amazing sushi, fresh flavors and perfect presentation, 5 stars! loved it!!

We had a quick visit, some HH choices at the bar & agreed that we would not return. While the spicy tuna roll was perfect, the Kani Salad was 95% cucumber with absolutely no flavor at all, little Surimi to be seen, very strange. Even the Kani salad at Stew Leonard's is a winner compared. We also had some of the krispy rice with spicy tuna, dressed beautifully but 3 very small bites. For 8 dollars, it could have been a bit more substantial. I would avoid HH and try to judge the restaurant while seated in the back, the front is very small with some take out going on and not much ambiance, so I am sure the area towards the mall interior is much better. Sushi is pricey, here, you are also paying mall rent. The lunch menu looked appealing.

Not good sushi.... How do you mess up simple rolls? Why is there onions in spicy tuna ? Was so disappointed

Would not go here again, the sushi was bad, the spicy tuna in general was bad but then they also out onions in the sushi ??! the wings were way too salty just overall not good

Great things happen when you least expect it. Yesterday with all the traffic in Roosevelt Field Restaurant Row,we fought our way to NoMiya, & it did not disappoint! From pricing to flavor, it was awesome!! We have tried so many different variations of Sushi or Japanese Cuisine thru the years, that we really did not know what to expect at No Miya. We have been to Nobu,Tao, & have eaten at Chef Masaharu Morimoto, MoroSan, & I will gladly tell you this, NoMiya, is just as good & if not better, than some of the places I mentioned..Hats off to the chef!! We ordered many of their starters .We had the crispy rice, seaweed & Kani salad, the fried wings, the Gyoza & the rock &roll Shrimp, & they were all amazing!!!! Everything was fresh & flavorful. For me the stand out were the Wings, the shrimp & Crispy Rice..It's not usual in many cases that everything is usually great, but in this case, they all were ..... We enjoyed 3 different rolls. We had the Pacific, the Garden City, & the Ocean. We also ordered their vegetable fried rice. The Rolls were fantastic! Whoever is making them is doing a marvelous job !! They were presented beautifully & everything was fresh! The were filling & tasted wonderfully... The rice was excellent as well, & there was a good amount for all. The ambiance was nice with somewhat of a city vibe. I prefer eating indoors so it worked for me.. There was a lot of sidewalk dining which was nice to see. As for the Service, Krystal & Elvis were the true standouts!! Elvis was as kind as could be & was eager to commodate our every need. As for Krystal, she was simply amazing! She was kind, considerate & understanding. She understands what customer service & satisfaction is all about. She could explain every dish if she had to..She always came to our table with that wonderfully inviting smile. Thank you Krystal & Elvis , you made our dining experience a memorable one...& as for the tall bald gentleman, thank you for your kindness as well.. Appreciate NoMiya, & you will see us again, for sure..Ownership should reward you all...Rudy.

Came here for lunch with friends on a weekday. Seating is roomy. The food and service are good. The sushi is fresh and we love the cod fish we had. Since it's inside the mall, it's not very crowded during the day. It would be better if they provide more lunch special.

I went to this place for few years, but the service is going down to hell. This year January freezing cold, me and my friend went to lunch. servant put us to counter table next to the door with heavy coat and gifts, even thought there were at least 4 tables available. This time I visited Yutaka Ramen with my parents and ordered the fried smelt, but I was served fries instead. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the server insisted that I had ordered fries and made it seem like it was my fault. Eventually, she said in an arrogant tone that she would give me the fries for free, but she later took the fries away from my table, and no one apologized for the mistake. What disappointed me the most was not the wrong order, but the attitude. Mistakes happen, but blaming the customer, refusing to acknowledge the error, and failing to offer a simple apology is unacceptable. My parents witnessed the whole interaction, and it was embarrassing and frustrating. Poor customer service and lack of professionalism.

It's been a while since I've returned so when I was given a choice, this was and still is, my go to place when I'm nearby. This visit - lots of sushi on my mind. I ordered the chirashi bowl as my entree and a la carte, sea urchin sushi. Today the Hokaiddo uni was available so I splurged and got it. The California uni was available too but given the option, Hokaiddo is the way to go! The Chirashi is a beautiful bowl of fresh sushi - given my allergy to shrimp, I asked for a substitute piece of fish. They accommodated without an issue. The tuna, salmon, and mackerel was outstanding - so fresh! The octopus, yellowtail and tamago were perfect. I enjoyed this very much... Couldn't finish the rice. The bowl is a great deal and value. For starters, my friend and I enjoyed the lightly fried soft shell crab. It was simply divine - great crunch and a soft shell indeed. The optional scallion and dipping sauce isn't really needed but available. So good! It was super fresh. My friend ordered the Black Cod Bento box. Rice bowl comes on the side. These bento boxes are the best deal: comes with gyoza, fried tofu, edamame seaweed salad, wasabi salt, cucumber salad, both shrimp and vegetable tempura (even eggplant!) and the cod was sitting on top of some sauteed string beans. Both of our dinners came with a choice of house salad or miso soup. I recommended the salad because the dressing is fantastic here - citrusy and light ginger I think, with a bright orange color appeal. The complimentary noodles as a palate starter was also fantastic. There is a parking lot in the rear but I've often found spots easily on the street (metered parking but free after 7pm on the weekdays).
