Such a cutesie dining experience, nothing too fancy but also pretty cool atmosphere. The food was good in terms of flavor, we ordered the chicken ramen ! The presentation and portion size was also pretty satisfying. Additionally, the service was super fast and attentive. Altogether, the combination of ambiance, food quality, and service made this a good visit, we do appreciate that they are open until late!

My daughters love this Ramen spot because they have a build your own ramen menu selection. They can build the type of ramen they like from the soup base, type of noodle and toppings. They have a good selection of apps and entrees along with boba and fruit tea drink selections. It's a solid ramen spot with a decent amount of seating. It tends to get busier during Friday nights and weekends but the wait is never really long. The scallion pancakes are a fave especially because of the dipping sauce it comes with which is a type of soy vinegar.

Tonkotsu Ramen lunch special with Takoyaki, extra egg, and shrimp tempura

This was my second time trying Yayoi Ramen and honestly, it was satisfying. It was cold today and I just got over being sick a week ago so it was nice being able to have ramen with hearty broth. There's a parking lot that is shared with other businesses. My friend and I both ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen from the lunch special for $16.95. It's a great value for what it came with, an appetizer and a drink. I went with the takoyaki (3 pieces) and iced peach oolong tea. I was being extra and ordered more than what my stomach can handle (I was hungry). I ordered an extra egg and an order of shrimp tempura. I don't recommend doing this unless you can eat more than the average person. The bowl of ramen has a generous portion size! The service is quick and they served our food quickly. The restaurant can be a bit noisy with the kitchen staff talking (they were very loud) but I didn't mind it. They looked like they got along with each other. The restaurant is clean.

Amazing! This spot is very cute! It's our second time here and it didn't disappoint. The staff here is super friendly and very attention their customers. We had the ramen of course and the broth was delicious! Drinks wise, we did a pot of tea which was great. Must have the desert!! Overall, great ramen spot! Will be back!

While I can see why many people give this place a 4 if you can serve me vegetarian ramen past 10PM and take an order before closing while having it be exceptionally good I am impressed. Vegan ramen packed with veggies, super delicious. I can not recommend enough would def want to eat there in person to get the full experience!

Came here for lunch. The staff was friendly. Restaurant was clean and decent seating. Okay for large groups but i would call in advance. We love how they have a build your own ramen. The spicy tonkatsu was pretty spicy. The curry was good. Very generous amount of curry. The chicken was a little dry but not too bad. The karrage chicken was giant pieces of dark meat. The pork buns were good. The pork was tender. We order two drinks and they were okay. Very sweet

A humble ramen place at the quiet side of the mall. The interior is clean and bright. The servers are very attentive. The price of the dishes is very reasonable. However, the food we ordered were not as we expected. We ordered the agedashi tofu, chicken paitan ramen and shrimp tempura ramen. The tofu's batter was too thick so it is quite hard and hot. The broth of the Paitan was not very flavorful and rich enough. The grilled chicken tasted good and juicy but not the usual chicken you would see on ramen. The tempura batter was thick too.

I visited this restaurant after gym with my wife, and yes I craved for fried Japanese food all of a sudden. This is a restaurant satisfied my craving. First of all, the price of the food here seems 50 cents to 75 cents less expensive than typical ramen place in Queens, NY. It made me feel more satisfied. Thank You. Let's talk about food. We ordered the Agadeshi Tofu as appetizer and Tempura Udon (told ya I was craving for fried Japanese food). They are all satisfying but not to a full extended. Let me quote from a 5-stars Hotel Chef friend, it is the harmony between ingredients that makes a good dish. I would say the batter of both the Tofu and Tempura seems a little bit too thick. It made the sauce and noodle soup don't stay on the tofu and the tempura. They are perfectly fried, but would be better if they are not shining on its own. My wife ordered this Chicken Paitan Ramen. I tried a little bit of the broth. It is light and clear if you like the broth to be not so thick or salty. Regarding to the Ambiance, It kind of reminded me Kyuramen in Queens. What is better is they sell Alcohol, woohoo . It can easily be turned into a little party place with friends. My suggestion is, adding a list of izakaya food on the menu would attract another group of customer. Overall 85 out of 100 I like its instant satisfaction of craving. Calvin

Food was really good. I would definitely go back. I do like the selections that they have of Ramen and you can also build your own. I also really liked our Bao buns.

If you're looking for some different Japanese flavors this place is the one. We come here for ramen, Japanese curry, fried chicken, and other favorites. The service here is quick and everything that comes out to the table is fresh. The place is a cute restaurant and gets really busy really quick.

The stir-fried veggies which were seasoned well

The staff was very knowledgeable and attentive to my gluten allergies and the food was delicious. It's been a while since I've been able to eat ramen (mainly because everywhere has ZERO accommodations) so I was pleasantly surprised. I got the kimchi beef ramen in miso broth and had some of the sti-fried veggies on the side. The broth was delicious, noodles were super chewy and bouncy, and the kimchi was really good. Will come here again.

Tan Tan Ramen at Yayoi Ramen is rich, nutty, and perfectly spiced. Silky broth, tender noodles, and bold flavors--absolutely satisfying!

Yayoi Ramen delivers incredible flavors! The Tan Tan Ramen is my favorite--rich, nutty broth, tender noodles, and perfect spice. A must-try!

Stumbled on this ramen spot while intending to go to Kura Sushi in the same shopping center--glad we did! We enjoyed the lunch from start to finish. First, a cool, clean, modern ambience with plenty of natural light. Started with pan-fried vegetable goyza. They were lightly fried and not greasy with a tasty filling. I had the tonkotsu ramen which was served in a large bowl, with a generous portion of thin noodles. Two slices of chashu were deliciously porky and tender. The broth was a mixture of chicken and pork bone broths which had a delightfully creamy mouth-feel. Minced pork and black garlic oil kicked the flavor quotient up a notch. My spouse had a build-your-own ramen which she loved as it had everything she wanted and nothing she didn't. She also had passionfruit boba tea which rivaled any boba tea shop. In summary, a happy accident that we ended up here. The next time will be intentional (and soon!).

Owned by another fantastic Japanese couple where the husband used to deliver the best picks of fresh fish and seafood to award winning and Michelin starred restaurants all across NYC. The space was upgraded a bit and thankfully they still retained the chef who handles the back kitchen and still deliciously creates and beautifully plates all their traditional Japanese hot dishes (please bring back the chawanmushi though!). Menu is a bit more scaled down from what it was but still all delicious and price point for it all is perfect. This spot is worthy enough to come to every day or to LIRR in from the city to eat at. Sad to not see master Kikumatsu at the helm of the sushi bar and Kyoko chan to greet you as you walk in but the new owners are as warm and as great too! Must go repeatedly!

Made a reservation for 8pm and were seated immediately upon arrival. Warmly greeted and seated, we ordered 2 of the chef's choice omakase boxes and 2 sushi sashimi combos. All the fish was fresh, flavorful and higher than average quality. We met the owner, Mr. Kay and shared conversation about Japan. The staff was warm and personable. We enjoyed our dinner thoroughly and will be back for the miso black cod and hamachi kama next time. Dinner for 4, no drinks, about $200 all in, more than fair, about 35% less than the same experience in Manhattan. Looking forward to coming back, just to see Mr. K., oh and the sushi is great too.
